Would not recommend this hotel at all.
Awful, had to wait 20mins because the check in was at 2pm. Then a further 20mins so she could check with her manager if she was okay to check us in..key card didn't work so had to left our bags in the locker room!
Heating didn't work and they didn't know how to fix it.
Asked for a different room, told me they were all the same! No food available!!
Only couple in the hotel.
Decided to leave asked for a refund and told me to fill in a complaint and it was up the online operator to refund me!!!!!!

We stayed at hotel for convenience to get to a different Chateau each day from St Pierre de corps gare. Being right next to station you expect noise, which was ok with ear plugs each night. They are relaying paving out the front of station so that was the noisy part. Basic hotel for good budget price. Staff were nice, bed was comfortable.

Due to rail strikes our train journey was cancelled and we were unable to get to Tours in any way.
I tried to cancel but they refused my request.
The company is inflexible. Our non show was out of our hands.

Kyriad Tours was perfect for our needs. After touring Chateau in the Lorie Valley, we spent the night in Tours before flying out of Paris. The hotel sits on a courtyard with the train station and rental car offices. We were able to return our rental car (after hours) walk to the hotel, spend the night, and in the morning catch a train to Charles De Gaulle airport for our afternoon flight. Tired, we ate at the hotel's restaurant- which was basic fare, but the servers were friendly and fun. The room itself was very clean, comfortable and very quiet.

Hotel Kyriad was very convenient for our travels. It is just next to the TGV station St Pierre des Corps. Friendly staff and good breakfast. You must take a bus to get into town.

Awful service from the staff. When rung to say we would be 10 mins late our phone call was put on hold for ages and then disconnected... And when phoned back they wouldn't answer. Out of hours phone number didn't work.... Even staff at hotels.com couldn't contact anyone so had to go to a different hotel.

Awful service so would not recommend. Wasn't the only one grumpy as others in reception couldn't get any help even though it was only 6pm on a Saturday evening!

Good for TGV Travels

Saddened they would not offer client parking in their lot when multiple spades were empty! Otherwise the 2 night stay was fine. I would choose ONLY because of one's TGV times, otherwise Saint-Pierre-des-Corps has virtually nothing to offer. Their breakfast bar is perfect.

Very nice hotel near St Pierre Des Corps station

Looking for a hotel near the station for a stopover on business this hotel was clean, quiet and convenient. Delivered much more than expected with lovely room and friendly welcoming staff. Ideally placed to pick up a hire car in the morning.

Nice, uneventful stay. I had stayed the week before, so the staff largely knew me. Hotel is clean and simple, best suited for short stays for connecting trains or the start of a local tour.
Many tours do seem to use the hotel, so guest turnover can be big. The hotel restaurant can host 50-60 tour guest for dinner, but this maxes out the kitchen staff. Better to be seated at a different time. Likewise, breakfast can see large groups.

Kyriad St Pierre des Corps was a great choice

KYRIAD DESERVES A TOP SCORE. This hotel is exactly what it's supposed to be. 100 m from the Gare St Pierre des Corps in Tours, it's perfect for quick access to fast trains to Paris, Bordeaux, etc. You can also hop a train to Amboise that takes 15 min. Done very well. Rooms are compact but well designed, clean, quiet, well appointed. Has hairdryer, heated towel rack, and even memory foam pillows as an option. Full scope of breakfast choices. 24 hrs check-in and noon check-out. Only one suggestion-- when a tub doubles as a shower, it should have a non-slip bottom.

Very good hotel and staff. The local area is not very exciting. It is a good location for connection to trains, maybe start a local tour. Services are very limited on the weekends.
Many tour groups seem to move through the hotel and this can create crowds at breakfast and at dinner.

No sleep due to poor noise insulation

Chose this hotel as its literally right next to the train station and I had an early meeting nearby. Unfortunately there was building work outside that started at 11pm and was still going on at 3am. The windows offered no insulation from the noise maybe they are just poor single glazing. I complained to reception and got a Gallic shrug in response. Definitely will not be going back.

Saturday Night and no food

We were only staying for the Saturday night on route to our holiday. The hotel is very convenient for the railway station, literally two minutes to the train, but even so we didn't hear a thing. We only met a couple of members of staff who were very helpful and spoke good English. The room was comfortable with controllable air conditioning, piping hot water for the shower and bath and a large comfortable bed. Sunday morning we had breakfast outside in the sun, its a self service eat as much as you like breakfast. As we were being picked up at the station Sunday afternoon we were able to leave our bags at the hotel all day which was really useful.
The only disappointment of the whole stay was that the restaurant is not open at all over the weekends and the only place in the area to eat was a small Pizzeria a couple of streets away. One of the main reasons for choosing the hotel was so that we had somewhere to eat without travelling miles. If it was not for that I would have given it 5 star rating and not 4.

I stayed overnight as I had a trip the next day with the pick up at the TGV station. The hotel was clean and had all the amenities. The service staff (I don't know the gentleman's name) was extremely helpful. My only complaint was the room smelled of cigarette smoke.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Kyriad. Good service and comfortable rooms. I was attending a week long conference in Tours centre hence the hotel's location close to the train station made it easy for travel to and from the centre and was only 5 minutes away.

Hotel is in the middle of no where. All restaurants including the hotel were closed.
Room was so small it was difficult to have two suitcases open
Bed was terrible - didn't 't sleep- hard. Air did not work- stuffy all night

The hotel is right at the rail station so for a overnight stop it works fine , this is not resort hotel more of a motel 6, but with very nice people to help you , standard rooms for france very small but clean. So overall I would use this stop again if traveling through this area again.

We chose the hotel because of it's location next to the company where my husband is working. We were relocating to the city so we did not want the hassle of him getting lost trying to find his work. For location it was perfect. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Only downfalls were the size of the room, a bit small for two persons, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the hotel was a bit outdated.

We stopped in this hotel for a night while touring northern France. Our room was nice and the bathroom was recently renovated. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food was reasonable and good. There was not much to do or places to go so it was great for a stopover. Overall, a good value for a nice stay.

Friendly staff, nice room but the parking is terrible. They have 9 spaces and about 90 rooms. You have to park in the outdoor public carpark down the road. This is not good when you have lots of luggage.

The bottom line is this is an efficient chain hotel aimed at business people arriving in Tours by TGV. It is adjacent to the station. I suspect that the best deals are at the week-end. Expedia gave us a very competitive price at about half the standard rate. This made it very good value. The food is very ok, reasonably priced. The breakfast is top end continental style. The staff pleasant and helpful. The rooms are standard chain hotel rooms but comfortable. it is a bit of a hike into the centre of Tours, but buses leave from outside the hotel. Hotel is easy to find by car just follow the signs for the TGV station. This is the second time we have stayed there and we would stay again

We were after a hotel near the main station and we got a perfect location, this is right in front of the station. Staff were friendly and helpful enough. The area is not the best, we didnt feel too comfortable walking around at night but its only about a 5 miute tram ride into the city centre so we didnt mind too much.
Good price.

Great Location

This hotel was just outside of the train station and was very easy to find. Bus station, car rental, and local trains were all within a few feet as well. The lady who checked me in was friendly and polite though she wasn't very helpful with questions on sightseeing. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall very pleased :)

Kiraid Tours is located immediently beside the train station, convenience at its best.

The staff were just delightful, couldn't do enough for you. The hotel is older but very clean and very comfortable, with a fantastic breakfast and Resturant.

I selected the hotel in St. pierre deliberately since I needed a parking for my car. I found it very convenient to go from the hotel to the city since it is very close to the train station. The hotel was ok.
Regarding the service - since we are not French people - we need a lot of info e.g. how to go from st. pierre to the city (Tours). The day we arrived there was a young lady who was reluctant to help us. The day after there was a young man in the reception that was very helpful - and even gave us driving directions he found in the internet and printed them for us.

Das Hotel an sich war gut und v.a. sauber, das Personal freundlich. Allerdings erschweren umfangreiche Bauarbeiten den Zugang zum Hotel. Die Umgebung ist generell wenig reizvoll.
Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war einigermaßen o.k., wenn man keinerlei Ansprüche daran hat.
