The hotel itself was good. Clean room without any issues. Parking was the problem. Parking is overly complicated, and the ramp caused €2,300 damage to my BMW. The ramp is quite literally the width of my 5 series. The narrowest ramp I have seen in all of France. You would have thought I was trying to bring a Phantom through that ramp because it was nearly impossible not to scrape your car. If you have a small European car, there is no issue, but if you have a larger car, you should absolutely avoid parking at this location. I absolutely regret staying there and parking there. The hotel itself is fine, but the parking situation should be avoided. Park elsewhere and walk there or take an Uber. Stay was nice and finding the location was easy enough.

The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable. Only down side was the breakfast it was good but I felt like it could have better options for children there was no hot water to make a tea nor for milk for my baby.

Very good location a few minutes walk from the station. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there is a restaurant opposte the hotel and lots of other options close by.
The room was very large and comfortable.
The heating is either on or off so that was my only slight complaint.
Breakfast was excellent with a large choice.
All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Connected rooms but in small space felt like doors after doors. Sink was clogged so I had to ask front desk to fix it. One of the Half glass wall on tub in the bathroom was half off of the track resulting water leak on the floor

After a very long journey we ended up at your Mercure Hotel in north Tours ,as we had a long journey we asked if we could stay at this hotel not the one in the centre of Tours
a very abrupt receptionist said we couldn't she was as unhelpful as could be ,, we offered to pay more, rather than move ,she said she had rooms but this was not possible ,I asked if she could ring the other Mercure but she said she couldn't She then told us that the other Mercure was only 10 mins away ,I explained I did not have any directions and our sat nav was not showing your centre hotel .
In her broken English we then attempted to find the other hotel .
We did ALL in our power to find the centre hotel and asked many people walking about . Please believe me it took over an hour to find the hotel ,then I was directed around the back of the hotel ,past 3 metal gates and barriers to park .as i had recently had health problems I asked reception to help with my bags, she said she could not and there was no one available. I finally got into my room 1 i/2 hours after leaving your other hotel . Compared to the first hotel this centre one was terrible NO RESTAURANT,NO NICE FACILITIES SUCH AS A SWIMMING POOL ,NO PROPER BAR TO SIT AND HAVE A DRINK ,iT WAS A POOR EXCUSE FOR A MERCURE HOTEL. I have stayed at mercure hotels for pleasure and business for quite a good few years ,I have never complained before ,but this was as bad as it gets. Your staff could not have cared less.
I hope you take notice of this .

An overnight stay on our way from Bordeax. Hotel very conveniently located (slightly complicated parking arrangements but nothing major). Close to town centre, close to the main rail station. Really nothing to complain about. Recommend.

Hotel next to railway station

Difficult to know why this hotel is classified four stars. Room is spacious, clean. functional, but nothing more. The room was overheated, but no thermostat to adjust temperature (only option to open the window!). On the other hand, the two mornings I was there, water in shower was barely lukewarm! Very good breakfast and staff was quite pleasant.

As you'd expect from a Mercure, + than most

As you'd expect from a Mercure, better than an Ibis, more roomy and better quality. Quiet and exactly what I needed to recharge. It's not fancy or boutique, but sometimes it's nice to know what to expect and get exactly that - no surpirses. That's why I like them for business trips.

A breath of fresh air in a polluted area.

In one way, it was reasonably convenient to the railway station - BUT you could not say that the local area is great for walking. It might be IF there were not so many smokers, who make it difficult to breathe & make the paths untidy by dropping their butts ( we are not talking hundreds & thousands - try Millions).
Should we also mention the dog's poo regularly on the footpath? - no street cleaner seen in our 3 nights there.
The highlight of our stay was the service given at the front counter on our arrival; and witnessing the waitress servicing the breakfast area each morning - easily the most efficient we came across on our entire trip.

No water?

The Mercure Tours was fine at first. Decent location, and the room was fine. Parking is a hassle. You need to get a code from the desk to get into the lot, but there was no where to park to get the code. Also you then have to go back out on the street because the entrance is at the other end of the building.

The real issues were in the morning. The hotel ran out of water. Not just hot water; there was no running water in the room. Turn the sink on... Nothing! Same with the shower. Apparently the Mercure shares a water system with the hotel next door, and there were "too many people getting ready" and it would take 15 minutes to come back... Seriously? A business hotel that can't have people getting ready at 8am?

I would probably not stay again.

Great stay with a very pleasant hotel and staff however it lacked in two key areas in my opinion. Both the air conditioning and the WiFi in the room were very poor, in fact the wifi was completely useless. The signal from the adjacent hotel was actually stronger and this was used instead. Having said that everything else about the hotel and room was of a great standard.

Our stay was very impressive, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice looking and clean. We really liked the tea/coffee making service in all the rooms, our only wish is that a small fridge could be included in the room for some orange juice or beer

Handy for the city center.

The Hotel is within walking distance to the City Center. Rooms are comfortable and recently refurbished. I was just missing the Mini-Fridge in the room for a cold drink on a hot summer day. The folks at the Reception are very professional. Would recommend it.

Best bed, cleanliness and reception desk even though they forgot to give us our wake up call. Right at train station. Personal amenities weren't replenished daily. Also, it is half hour walk to Old Town, but a tram is being installed. There are no convenience stores near by to buy beverages or snacks. They are about 10 minute walk. Breakfast was good, however expensive if not included in room price and even though we were there an hour before it closed the eggs were not replenished so we had to only eat rolls.

Hôtel très moyen pour un hôtel Mercure.
Fenêtre qui donne sur la gare de Tours avec le bruit des trains.
Eau à disposition dans un réfrigérateur qui ne fonctionne pas.
Le niveau de prix ne correspond absolument pas au niveau de l'hôtel.
A éviter, il y a bien mieux à Tours au même tarif.

Très bonne isolation phonique et thermique... Qui rend inefficace et pratiquement impossible l'ouverture des fenêtres. Ce qui n'aurait pas été un soucis si la literie n'avait pas sentie une odeur de produite chimique style acétone ou alcool à bruler ! Horrible. Très mal dormi.

Le lit n’était pas confortable du tout avec un creux au milieu car le grand lit était au fait deux lit simple collé la baignoire était réparé avec des rustine en silicone, le p’tit déjeuner n’était vraiment pas agréable il n’y avait plus de jus d’orange ni de jus de pomme ni de multivitaminé un machine à café sur les deux était en panne

Hôtel en fin de vie. Le mobilier des chambres est vieillot la salle de bain est vieillissante, les couloirs font penser à une maison de retraite la climatisation d un autre temps pas de réglage possible c est 1 ou 2.
Un point positif les hôtesses d accueil qui sont souriantes et agréables. Des amis étaient dans un ibis sur tours qui étaient bien mieux que le mercure ! Ce n est absolument pas un 4*!
Nous n avons pas osé tester le pdj a 17€40.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Hat uns einen Stadtplan mit Notizen abgegeben, damit wir unser Ziel rasch finden. Die Sauberkeit und Ausstattung des Hotel ist tip top. Komfortable Kingsize Bett und Lage direkt beim Bahnhof sind ebenfalls ein Vorteil.

Un Mercure pas à la hauteur…

Pour un Mercure , plutôt déçu par la qualité des prestations : matelas plus fatigué que nous , service de restauration réduit à 4 pizzas au choix (très surprenant, d’autant plus en cette période où les restaurants ne sont pas accessibles à tous), les qques vins sur la carte pas tous disponibles mais pourtant en vitrine à l’acueil?!), pas Canal+ dans la chambre , une savonnette pour 2 personnes, une petite bouteille d’eau pour 2) …
Ayant passé la nuit précédente dans un Ibis Style a une heure de là, déçu d’avoir changé d’hôtel)
Pour le reste , accueil réception très agréable)

A part l'amabilité et la serviabilité du personnel de la reception...ce Mercure n'a rien d'un Mercure et encore moins d'un 4 etoiles.

Chambre vieillotte sans aucun charme, mobilier vetuste, moquette tachée d'eau de javel, 2 simples petit oreiller, le necessaire de douche se limite à 2 petit sachet de gel douche liquide, une seule petite bouteille d'eau au minibar.

Le petit déjeuner buffet ne vaut pas 15e.
Produit qui ne sont pas de qualité et pas variés
Tres grosse déception ce séjour

Et cette chambre est mieux que celle qui nous a ete attribuée initialement ! En effet, nous avon demandé à changer car nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une petite chambre exigues ou il ny a pas de passage sur les côtés du lit, et fenêtre sur rails de train.

一度フロントで駐車場のアクセスコードをもらわなければ入ることができない。
部屋は非常に綺麗で快適。コーヒーマシンや電気ケトルも完備。
線路がすぐそばだが、窓が二重窓となっており、それほど気にならない。
近くにスーパーあり。

Excellent accueil et localisation pratique

Le personnel a été très accueillant et attentif à nos besoins. Venus pour participer au marathon de Tours, nous avons apprécié de pouvoir bénéficier du départ tardif le dimanche. L'hôtel est situé juste à côté de la gare, et le centre-ville est accessible à pied. Chambre spacieuse, très grand lit, état impeccable de tous les équipements. Vraiment rien à redire.

les -, tres petit à peine 40 cm autour du lit pour circuler dans toute la chambre , la porte est tres male isolee on entend tout dans le couloir, pas de SDB comme la photo mais douche, clim vieillotte mais fonctionne, pas de frigo, pas de coffre. pas de clim au RDC pour prise du petit déjeuner (il fait très chaud)

Petit déjeuner bof

Un hôtel Mercure "bas de gamme" par rapport à sa salle de petit déjeuner et par rapport au petit déjeuner lui--même: une salle exiguë où tout le monde est l'un sur l'autre. Un petit déjeuner restreint dans les choix. Du café "industriel". Pas de grille-pain à disposition. Pas possibilité d'avoir un oeuf à la coque. Pas de restaurant le soir. ET de surcroît, la première nuit, la réception a oublié de me réveiller ...
