We booked a non-smoking room & that was not available when we checked in. The room obviously smelled like an ash tray, there were gnats swarming the sink, specks of something of something on the towels, and the toilet was loud when flushed.
There were residents at the hotel, the lady in the next room & her talking at 3am was heard clearly through the joining door. The air conditioner was great!! The pool was not functioning.

Met expectations for a Days Inn -- i.e., clean room and bathroom/shower. No bugs/roaches. Never felt unsafe. Breakfast was lackluster (only fruit available was bananas on 1 of our 3 mornings, and no yogurt or fresh bread/rolls), but we were expecting that given the other reviews. Charge was just as advertised, and no attempt to charge us in advance for a \"damage deposit\".

The rooms aren't connected to the checkin desk building, so it was weird to navigate. Parking was a headache to figure out because it was also connected to a mexican restaurant and a Holiday Inn. The facial tissue box was empty when we arrived. The floor lamp didn't work. And the room smelled mildew-y. I am unsure if a hairdryer was an amenity, because there was a mount for one, but it wasn't there. Also, a iron board, but no iron.

I could have overlooked all of that, but on the afternoon after our first night, the staff person came to our door and demanded we leave or she was calling the cops, despite us paying for two nights. I had to show her the Expedia receipt that our checkout day was the next day, and she then backed down and said she'd go double check their system. Before we left for our activities, we went to the office to confirm we were all paid up, and she said everything was okay. No apology, no sorry for the misunderstanding, nothing.

Days Inn employees need a better understanding of their systems and to double check their records before threatening with police action. I won't be going to a Days Inn in the future.

It’s very old, hostel kind of hotel. Breakfast was not like the breakfast! People were smoking weed, drinking alcohol when we reached there in the evening. Didn’t feel very safe. I wouldn’t recommend if someone is looking for at least decent hotel to stay.

We were traveling and needed a place to sleep for the night. I booked a non smoking room at the Days Inn. My reservation was confirmed. When we arrived we were told they didn’t have any non smoking rooms available for us and that we were stuck with a smoking room. The key card to our room didn’t work and we were told the only way to get in the room was with their master card. Bathtub had cigarette burns all over it. A dirty wash cloth was draped over the shower curtain. The bedding was stained with blood! They did replace the blood stained comforter 30 minutes later. If it hadn’t been for the fact it was midnight we would’ve left! The room looked nothing like the pictures on Expedias website! The hotel description is completely misleading!! The staff was rude and could’ve cared less about our experience.

CONS:
-Receptionist that checked us in took a phone call while checking me in causing her to double charge me and take much longer than should have.
-Non-smoking room had small smell of smoke but bathroom REEKED of smoke anytime you turned on the fan.
-Advertised Free Breakfast consisted of Coffee, Juice, and/or your choice of pack of crackers or chewy bar.

PROS:
-Felt safe
-Lots to eat around the property.
-Bed was very comfortable and room felt clean besides the smoke smell.

The price was good being less than $100. However, the toilet ran Non-Stop I'm guessing because of a bladder or reservoir issue? The AC was great in the room. Disgusting

Where do I start? I'm not super picky. I really am a pretty low maintenance person. Here is a list of my gripes: We got a non smoking room but it smelled awful. Like cigarettes and mold. The smoke alarm battery needed changed and was chirping. The phone didn't work so we couldn't call the front desk to tell them. We had to disconnect the smoke detector and put it outside so we could sleep. The bathtub faucet would not turn off. It just trickled constantly. There were stains in the tub and toilet. The walls had drip stains. There was a random ottoman in the room and it was very sticky. The air conditioner was very loud. There were dead bugs in the corner of the room. Someones sunglasses were left on the TV stand so who knows when the last time this room was cleaned. There were no beadbugs and everyone was exhausted from driving all day so we stayed since it was the only hotel with vacancy nearby and they advertised free breakfast. Upon checkout we discovered there was no breakfast after all. Not even granola bars.
