The first room they did not even change the sheets they just made them and the toilet seat was completely ripped off. There was food smashed into the carpet. We got changed to another room. The second room was a little cleaner, but had bugs everywhere. The breakfast that was included was make your own waffle a piece of toast or some cereal.

I got there 30 mins early to avoid a crowd. There was a 30 dollar fee to check in early. The person at the front counter just left 30 mins prior to check and didn’t return until 3:00 exactly. The lobby was literally full of people with one person to check people in. I come to the Saint Louis areas 17 times a year. I will never use the hotel again. Wouldn’t take much to stand out in area.

Very rundown and broken. We opened the door to our room and instantly noticed hundreds of bugs dead on the carpet. We layed our sleeping children down on one of the beds and as we pulled the sheets back we found 4-5 live giant beetle type bugs. It was the most disgusting thing. There was hair all over the bathroom. We grabbed our children and left.

Room was very dark/dim when entering. Dark old carpet with holes in it. Window was open, even though the sign in the room said \" sting bugs keep window closed\". Heat /AC did not work properly, ran consistently loud all night but not at the set temperature. TV didn't work, would turn on but not off or connect to any channels. Bathroom had hairs, bed blanket had hairs in it. Staff was asleep at check in.

The room was dirty and it smelled. There was a huge hole in the carpet. There was trash on the ground near the bed. One of the lights didn’t work. And the bathroom was stained up and it might now have been dirty, but we didn’t want to use it. We didn’t even want to lay on the beds. We stayed 10 mins and then left. We paid for a room at another hotel.

There was a lot of noise at night making it difficult to get to sleep. It sounded like some kind of motor. It would run for about 10 minutes, then stop, and would start up again in about 15 minutes. Don't know what it was , but made it difficult to sleep. The staff on the other hand, were very courteous!

Over all, the room was nasty. There were bugs flying around in our room and some killed already on the ceiling. The place wasn't cleaned very well. There was a ring in the bath tub and some type of spray dried up on the nightstand. There were also dead bugs all over the inside of the window. We pulled back the covers and there was a bug under it. The breakfast also ran out before my family could get any. We will not be returning.

The room was disgusting! While the sheets smelled like bleach the rest of the room was very dirty! There was gum on the floor, the toilet had poop in it, the was pee around the bottom of the toilet, and something sticky was on the nightstand. The shower pooled up with water so fast I was standing in several inches of water by the time I was done with my shower. Not to mention the stink bug infestation, it is so bad I had one sitting on my pillow when I woke up the following morning.

At the end of my stay we were going to tell staff about our experience and there was no one at the desk to talk to.

The 1st room we stayed in was dirty. Dirt was in the dresser draw the bed spread was stained, the person working came down and he allowed us to move to a different room. That room had dirt in the draw and dirt behind the bed. We will never stay there again. The clerks were nice.

The curtains were very dirty. The bedspread was stained. The toilet seat came off. The toilet was hard to get to stop running. The room smelled musty. There was white ickiness on the tv remote. There were black stains on the ceiling and walls in bathroom. Only one of the two keys worked in the door. The power strip behind the desk did not work. It served the purpose for the night, but we were otherwise not impressed.

I've stayed at this location several times before. After driving 16 hours and arriving at 130am, i was told that i wasnt able to get a room. They claim that on my previous stay, I smoked in the room. I havent smoked in over 8 years. So now I'm tired and frustrated. And the room was non-refundable.

Some staff was friendly, others didn't speak unless spoken to. We were given a room that had sticky carpeting, shoes left being from previous occupant. Stains on the comforter and also something splattered on the TV. It also smelled terrible. We asked for a second room which we were given and the ceiling was half peeled off, smelled a little better and had a note on the window that there was a stink bug problem, which we fully encountered. The mini fridge was dirty and had mold on the inside.the bed where the sheets didn't cover, was severely stained and I did take a photo. I was not impressed with this place at all. I felt gross the whole stay but I was not able to be refunded so I didn't go elsewhere.

Tub was really slow to drain, toilet seat was not secured, if you look near and behind microwave and frig it was very dirty, above the shower the ceiling was coming away, hallway to room was dirty and hallway smelt like weed. I stated at this hotel six years ago and it was fantastic found out from staff who was from a while ago, saying it was bought by another company. It was terrible not only where they’re fighting and brawls where the police came and broke it up. there was staff having sex on the third floor when I was doing laundry roomwas filthy. We asked for room service. They took the trash, but never changed our sheets. We were there for a week. We spent most of our time at a relatives contemplated just not coming back, but we paid quite a bit for such terrible service. Never never again super 8 it’s your name do better.

The Super 8 Motel in Fairview Heights was a great stay for my wife and me. We had traveled to St.Louis for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The hotel is conveniently located near the bus routes that link with the metro rail.

This was to have been a mobility accessible room. The path between the bed and the desk was barely wide enough for my walker. There’s no way I could’ve gotten a wheelchair through there to be able to adjust the air-conditioning unit.

Would NOT recommend to anyone!! The attendant wouldn’t let me use the lobby restroom upon check in. The hallways smelled wet and musty. Once getting to the room, it smelled highly of cigarette smoke. There were stains on the walls, furniture and mattresses. A shelf was coming off of the wall, barely being held by one screw. The door lock was broken as well. There was still garbage in the bathroom. When I went down to inform the attendant we would be staying elsewhere, she made a call and kept me waiting. I politely interrupted the call and asked if there was more I needed to do. She said no and waved me off.

The staff are nice and friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs which says a lot nowadays. The entire hotel is very clean, right down to the parking lot. There’s also so many dining options in the area that are pretty much in walking distance if you don’t mind a 10 minute hike

Waited until I finally got my refunded money to leave my review.
HORRIBLE TIME.
My husband and I were in town for a Cardinals game and decided to stay here. It was really busy at check in, which made it slow but that was NO big deal! However, they gave our king room reservation away to someone else. Even though we already paid for it and everything. We agreed to downgrade to a double queen room.
Well….
We finally checked in and set our things down in the room. I put valuables up in the room and we go back out to our car to get our drinks and whatever else. We come back up to seeing other peoples’ bags on our bed and our items moved by the door! My valuables were NOT where we left them(thankfully they were honest and put them in our bag). When I go down there all the clerk can say is they were supposed to go in room 217, not 227. The system messed up. Whatever. I told them to just put us in the room they were supposed to be in and we will move on. We didn’t put us in that room, he put us in 125. The room was covered in mold and smelled like mildew. He seemed like he didn’t believe us and finally said he would “upgrade” us to a king suite. At 2:30am we were finally given a room that was clean and not given away to someone else.

Soon as you walk in the hotel it stinks. Thought it was just due to them remodeling. Once in room non of the outlets works. So they brought us some different outlets. Every time we left room and can back we had to get a new key cause it stopped working. I can keep going on but just know dont stay here until they are completely done remodeling

Conveniently located off the highway with shopping centers and restaurants close-by. Since its a Wyndham hotel the standard and quality of the walls, curtains, etc has to level up. The manager and staff were great and very receptive and eager to help with all needs.
