As we booked through Hotels.com the staff refused to accept our reservation even after talking with Hotels.com. I paid in full when booking and then the hotel made me pay again!!! They did not appear to understand the third party payment system. After a phone call Hotels.com was able to rectify the problem and we were refunded, the second charge. All was good in the end.

We book this hotel for our granddaughter's graduation. Upon check in we were not told the elevator was out of order and they put us on the second floor. We had to make several trips up and down the two flights of stairs to get our luggage and we are in our late 60's and early 70's. The room was clean but there was no shower gel, soap, or coffee in the room. The air conditioner made a loud noise when it cut on and off. This is the first time I've ever stayed at a Choice Hotel that only served toast, waffle and cereal for breakfast. There was no night staff available when needed. The toilet stopped up so they gave us a plunger the next morning. I guess there was no maintenance person. Upon checkout there was nobody available to ask questions or give us a receipt, so we will never stay at this hotel again.

Staff admitted to a broken elevator and expected me as a 72 year-old man to lug a 45+ pound suitcase to the king room we reserved. They offered a two queen bed room on the first floor which I considered a downgrade but they considered an upgrade. Really? We registered our dissatisfaction and said we'd check out early the next morning and not stay the remaining 3 nights. When checking out I asked how to get a refund for the remaining unused nights and the hotel said to get with Expedia. We did, and were denied our refund because the hotel denied it with no supporting rationale. Expedia put the customer between themselves and the hotel which guarantees the the customer will lose their rightful refund. I will no longer use Expedia or any Choice Hotel in future travel.

Our room wasn’t ready even though we checked in at 5:30pm. We went and had dinner and got back by 6 and the room was ready. The bathroom could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly but other than that the room was nice. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, usually hotel beds are extremely firm and these were not. That’s a plus for me. The pool was okay. Enough fun for my kids which is all I needed. Overall the stay was pleasant.

The rooms were clean but outdated and in need of repair or upkeep. The breakfast consisted of one waffle maker white bread for toast instant oatmeal packs and stale cereal. We have stayed here multiple times over the last 4 years while visiting our daughter in college and it has gone downhill since.

We booked a pet friendly room. The carpet it in the room was dirty but expected for a pet room in a budget room. Furniture was functional but missing paint. Bathroom had hair human hair on the toilet. .again, it happens.

I DID have an issue with the front desk lady. When we came in I rang the bell, she popped her head over the balcony and said something. Had no idea what she said. When she got down to the desk she said no dogs in lobby. This is NOT posted on the door, she did not mention it when we called 30 min earlier to confirm they did have a pet room. It was only visible on a sign once you walk into the lobby. We also had to go to the room through a different entrance.

Their choice but it would have been great to know before we.got in the lobby.

Manager stated they are under new management. Staff was very helpful. We had a leaky toilet. Someone came but only cleaned up the water. Maybe language was a barrier. But they were friendly. Hoping the new management helps with improvements to the room.

I travel with a service dog and encountered numerous problems checking in. First was asked for her registration card. Per ADA law, there is no registration requirement. Next, was made to stay in the “pet” rooms of the hotel even though I asked for a second floor. Was told no, it was against policy which is also illegal. The room was very noisy being next to an exit. The pool was cold and cloudy.

The hotel itself was super outdated. Paint chipping off of the walls, giant cracks in the ceiling. The non smoking room smelt like smoke. The sheets were stained and disgusting. The toilet made a loud winding noise for a good 5 min. After flushing. Once we saw giant spiders crawling down the walls me and my 2 small children packed up and had to leave in the middle of the night.

The hotel was so beautiful and so nice inside the room was clean. The bed was freshly made. Everything smelled good clean refreshing what I really enjoyed. The most was the hot tub. It was so relaxing. I would definitely come back again. I honestly did not want to leave. That’s how much fun I had you will definitely see me and my wife come back again.

I’ve stayed here multiple nights since I’ve been visiting St Elizabeth’s hospital frequently. I’ve only had one not so desirable experience and that wasn’t the hotels fault. Noisy neighbors slamming the door and talking loudly at 2:15 am. I recommend this hotel. Amy at the front desk is super nice and helpful.

First off it snowed the day before and the parking lot still hadn’t been plowed. Had ruts from tires and very dangerous. We tripped several times. Told the gal checking us in and she said it would be done before morning . It was not ! Room heat had been turned off when outside temp was negative numbers.sink in the bedroom was a terrible set up. Breakfast was very skimpy.

Can’t have visitors, front desk lady said I needed to sneak my 25 year old Airman son in to the room if he was to come see me. So after dinner he walked me in because it was sketchy. Not safe for a woman alone. Metal lock did not work in room 109. I slept with my clothes on and did not shower. Also, they questioned my service dog. Got a refund from Expedia bc the hotel said everything was resolved. Lol. Don’t stay.

Hotel cheated me. I booked an \"upgraded\" suite (really just two queen beds instead of two full beds), but $30 more expensive. I also included a note that I had a small dog in a carrier and was prepared to pay the extra $25 pet fee that was listed in the Policies. When I arrived, the host said I could not have the upgraded room with a dog. OK, that's not the end of the world. I wish this hotel that advertised as \"Pet Friendly\" made it clear that only certain rooms allowed pets and then I wouldn't have booked the upgraded room. I was OK to accept the regular room AND pay the pet fee, but what actually happened was that the hotel refused to refund me the difference between the regular room and upgraded room AND they charged me the pet fee. The host insisted that they couldn't issue a refund and that Hotels.com needed to do it. I've never previously stayed at a hotel that I booked from Hotels.com that claimed to be so utterly powerless. And I have no reason to believe it was the truth. If I had booked a regular room for $30 less, they would have just put me in the same room I ended up in and still paid the $25 pet fee, but I would have saved $30. They billed me for a room they refused to give me and then refused the refund. On top of that, the room was in bad shape. Mold in bathroom that was obviously ignored. Just wipe the walls a bit to clean it off at the very least. But no. The \"included breakfast\" was a JOKE. slices of white bread, some yogurt, and apples. THATS IT. YIKES!

The room itself was clean (so thanks to the team there), but the grounds/grass had a lot of litter (aluminum can lids, trash, etc) and for being dog-friendly, it felt much more of a \"dogs tolerated\" type of establishment.

I also missed the $20/25 fee when booking (booked online, paid in person). I realize now that it's in the fine print, so perhaps if someone else looks at the pictures, reviews, price, and then makes sure dogs are allowed...maybe check elsewhere. I also somehow missed that breakfast ends at 9am. I saw it after the fact and like...just left feeling disappointed overall. More that this is the policy in the first place. Breakfast ending at 9 when checkout is at 11...on a Saturday morning is just...disappointing.
I didn't even think to double check on breakfast times because the check-out times seemed to be at such a normal time.

Anyway, we won't be back. But hopefully the head people in charge can look at making some changes to make it a more enjoyable stay for pet owners in the future.

The staff was horrible, a staff member pounded on my door while I was sleeping because he accused me of tracking mud into the hotel, the walls are paper this and I had to check out two days early because the guy in the room next to me made it impossible to sleep. Upon checking they didn’t have a king bed like I reserved and it was a bad experience from the start. I contacted for a refund and she said I would get one in a day or two and I have yet to get the refund. Stay away the cheap price is still not worth it. The room I got was very outdated and dirty.

This was our second stay this month. There are a few improvements that would make me rate this a little higher.

The negatives: The lamp shade needs to be replaced. A new bathroom fan was installed but it didn’t fit the space from the old one. It looked horrible. The bathtub wasn’t that clean. The heat didn’t work. The elevator still does not work.

The positives: The front desk clerk was very friendly. It’s a nice location. The beds were clean and fairly comfortable. Other than the bathtub and dusty lamps the rest of the room was fairly clean.
