Property has terrible paths to go anywhere. There is terrible, winding pathways just to get to the beach road. The same goes for pool access. Just not a good place to stay.
Some front desk personnel were excellent. Others were no help at help. Outside bellhops particularly not helpful and actually aiding crooked business practices with the local transportation providers. I cannot warn foreign guests enough: do not stay here!

Not at all friendly staff. They are all very rude and did not provide us a single service. Especially the housekeeping staff was acting dumb and not responding. The room did not have enough facilities. Even the toilets did not have basics like conditioners.the quality of bottle waters and the tea provided is so low class. Will never ever recommend this place to stay to anyone.

stay away not a 4star building site

main feature of hotel closed pool, sunbeds, bar all closed for renovations we were not notified about this, only on arrival into the room a note had been left on a table no member of staff told us about any renovation, we would of cancelled if we would of been told when hotels.com took the booking definitely not a 4 star I expect some sort of refund

This hotel was at one time a 5 star, however, carpets in main areas were dirty and worn. My room was without hot water for several hours, once this was fixed the water was brown. I requested a room change but was denied and told to let the water run which i did and after 90 mintues it cleared up. This place needs a serious upgrade. Staff were very nice.

Honest review. It’s old, it’s not horrible there is some faded and out dated furniture is some of the rooms it looks like they have done upgrades to the rooms but the hotel is not great it’s poorly designed elevators are tiny we called front desk because we ran out or toilet paper they showed up 2 hours later called for luggage service nobody answered just not a place I would stay at again. Pattaya has many decent places for a decant price unless ur desperate I would keep lokking

Everything was great. The Fat Coco pool is a shared hotel and restaurant pool. The website is a little deceiving . The pool is open to the public with very limited seating. There is a second small hotel pool across the street that was nice and empty because I don’t think anyone knew about it. We had to get shown where it was , it’s not obvious .

This was a beautiful property and was more than I expected. The staff was very nice. I did not like that I requested a higher floor and they said the hotel was booked and they did not have extra rooms. However, when they gave me a 2nd floor room, none of those rooms were ready, the bell attendant and I walked on the floor and saw all doors open and the maid service was in the middle of cleaning them all, so they had to give me a room on the third floor.

SIMPLY OUTSTANDING, WONDERFUL MUST STAY SHIP HOTEL

Hotel was absolutely fabulous, just wonderful service. We had 5 members of staff on the front desk, all which us greeted us with a smile. Staff member Mr North took us to our room, showed us around the hotel explained thoroughly what was included, executive room included complimentary drinks and snack between 6' - 8' complimentary two pieces of laundry each day. Is was just wonderful service that had been offered. Stayed in many hotels around the world this had been the best. Towels were soft white, toiletries in the room, comfortable bed. Most welcoming were Nucci, Relationship Manager, advice from Nun and Louis and front desk Manager Leah. Thank you all very kindly for the most welcoming stay. I would like to put some ideas forward to your refurbishment next year with your big boss.

Property overall is lovely however it caters predominantly for Chinese who appear by the bus load (6 daily) causing a smell of diesel next to the swimming pool all day while their engines are left running.. They also jump into the pool fully clothed which is unacceptable. The breakfast is adequate but not catered for the U.K market as a whole but again for the Chinese and Asian community.. hotel is on the beach road which is convenient for both beach and restaurants. Staff are welcoming and the place is clean. Rooms are o.k and all floors are carpeted which minimises the noise. Overall a good hotel in the area if the above does not bother you.

Location is key on this property. Right next to ocean. Great pool, breakfast is ample and good.
Front desk service is miserably slow. I know it is common for Thailand but this really is slower.
Also of warning there is plenty of Chinese tour groups that use this hotel so just plan wisely and avoid the rushes and you will be good

For the cost you cannot beat it. Will stay there again.

Chilled place to stay

Very quiet Hotel with just the road separating it from the beach, you can walk to everything, restaurants and shopping, stayed in Pattaya many times in different locations but this time was traveling with my 18 year old daughter so wanted something nice and the hotel didn’t disappoint, in fact the next time I am in pattaya I will be staying there again whatever company I am with, like a lot of hotels in Thailand, the food and drinks are very expensive, I read a review where the price of drinks was very expensive and they were and you just can’t justify paying them when everything immediately out of the hotel is not expensive at all, make the pool bar prices more reasonable and people would use them more, this was my only negative but as I have mentioned nearly all classy hotels in Thailand are the same.
All in all a very chilled place to stay and for the money you pay for the hotel for the quality is very good value for money and will stay there again on my next visit , pool area and music around the pool really put you in a relaxed mood

Almost a great holiday hotel

Difficult review so much is good but in need of a tune. Hotel is quality 4* great theme of ocean liner, good uniforms, nice rooms. Some of the staff not so good. On arrival we asked for directions to lobby (we came from Beach Road) and met with a few grunts my wife speaks Thai. Checkin was fine off to room wifi login not working call to operator she said I had to wait 20mins not friendly about 30mins later my wife calls not happy they had given us wrong password. TV lots of channels but not working very well keeps freezing and has a lot of dead pixels. Breakfast staff talking to each other dirty dishes left on table, dirty floor under table but reset tabletop, 9:15 tables reset for lunch noisy and not comfortable for people still dining. Breakfast quality ok. The stand out for me was the lift operator he was always happy and made my day. Swimming pool was good and hotel location was great easy for shops bars food transportation. Suggest enter main entrance from side road and miss breakfast.

I arrived there at 8pm and checked in to my room.
Shower didn't work, wifi didn't work. Pounding music inside my room like literally shaking the desk.
Went downstairs when does the music stop she says \"2am\", I was like wow.
Went back to the room Wifi still doesn't work. I had to leave, I wanted to get my deposit back as I booked another hotel to get away from the pounding bass from their bar, which no one was in.
The manager was so rude to me when all I wanted to do was check out, she then proceeded to say did I take anything from the mini bar.
Like seriously I book 3 nights and you can't even give me a place to stay and you want to know I took from your minibar.
Avoid at all costs

A nice hotel

We stayed in an executive suite on the top floor with partial see view and balcony. Check in was quick and no issues checking in around 1pm The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.The floor we stayed on was quite. Good selection of food on offer for breakfast. Parking space for the car. The pool was a little crowded at times with a limited number of sun beds. The hotel was in a good location with the beach just across the road. To get to the south of beach road plenty of 10 baht taxis. A great stay

First of all the pros:
- Breakfast is very good with great selection of foods and fruits
- Location is pretty good. The loud music usually stops around midnight
- Big screen tv is good with good selection of satellite channels
- Pool is good
- Fitness area is good with lots of machines if you can get in.

Cons:
- The reception or rest of the personnel doesn't really speak even basic English. Very hard to communicate
- Reception can't order a taxi for you so you need to go and find one on the streets
- For some reason I had a door in my room that led to another room. This door is not soundproof and even the neighbors room lights shine right through. And I could easily hear the guest on the other room brushing her/his teeth. Luckily no Pattaya style overnighters was going on on that room.
- I don't know if it's all the same on the hotels nearby but you can't enter the fitness area without shoes that look like 90's Air Jordans. So don't pack your hi-tech footwear with you if you want to train.
- Roomservice prices are crazy ripoff. Coke costs 7 times more than in stores.

Summary:
It's kinda nice hotel with good location. I guess it really depends on what are you planning for your holiday. For party and clean vacation it's good. For relaxing and sightseeing not so. But I think that goes for all of Pattaya...

Our room was not clean and hair all over the floor and sheets. I don’t think they washed the sheets from when prior guests checked out. Extra charges for everything (ice, extra room key, WiFi in gym). Great location but this hotel is basically a Motel 8. A-one beach pattaya next door is much nicer for extra money.

Unfortunately our experience with this hotel was not great. Reception staff made us feel unwelcome from the start and on some occasions I just could not believe how rude they were. The room we booked and got confirmed was not available. The hotel itself is really showing its age. There are very noisy construction works going on within the front section of the building waking us up early, and when I politely enquired with the reception staff whether it was at all possible to move us to a different room a bit further away from the noise, the reception girl stared at the computer for a while and then just shouted at me “what you want me do?! Huh?!”. Seriously guys, that’s just too much. A manager was standing nearby stepped in and ask me what the issue was, then said they don’t have any constructions going on right now (erm.. what?) so I asked him to walk with me and when we got to my floor overlooking work on hotel’s deck, he said they cannot stop these (Duh, obviously I was not expecting them to stop that for me). Anyhow, in the end he moved us to a different room, which was much quieter. The only nice staff we came across were the cleaners and the enthusiastic elevator guy (honestly he is amazing!).
The other thing I found a bit odd is that you have to pay 200baht to use a shower at the gym (why??) or to get a bigger towel (when you can get big pool towel for free at reception). Also my wife reported that her pillow smelled very mouldy in both rooms.

Great pool but if you want to have a cocktail you will wait at least a half hour beer was warm they had plenty of waitress but everyday of my five days we would wait around or you would order a drink only to be told they did not have enough ingredients to make another I could understand the wait time if they were busy but there're would be 5 people rooms would get cleaned at 430 in the afternoon even with the make up room sign out at 9 am they had no chairs on balcanys not a 4 star but could be with right management

This place is absolutely awful: We had to change our room because it smelled like vomit (this was the smell that woke up us in the morning) and the bed was tainted with blood (apparently they don’t care that much on checking how the sheets are left by the previous hosts). The whole hotel feels dirty, the walls and the furnitures are dirty, not to mentioned the common areas such as the lobby and the elevator (it was so dirty and smelled that bad that we always preferred to take the stairs). When we changed our room the cleaner hurried us up in a very unfriendly way to get out of it.
