Looking for a refund and was told the manager was unavailable until 9am. Could not stay in the room due to the horrible smell of smoke and mold. Had asthma and allergy issues with in 5 min of being in the room. Such a bad experience. Just want my money back, we had to leave and not stay.

The bathroom fan was the loudest thing in the room. The AC was the second loudest thing in the room. The back of the building was not lit up when we got there so we didn't really know where we were going. There were stains on the bathroom counter. There was black specks on the bed. We don't know what it was. Curtains didn't close over the windows all the way. We didn't bother with breakfast because we saw the other reviews. It's in a location where you hear a lot of the traffic. Coming off the road it's actually hard to find because it's not lit up well and it's behind a big building and parking lot. The television was outdated. Hiding the trash next to the hotel rooms is not the most appealing thing to look at. The deadbolt on the door was broken so they put a chain lock which I don't think is very secure.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke, it was dirty, and there was only one lounge chair for the two of us. There was a loud noise every two or three hours that sounded like a jet engine. We could not sleep. There was a needle on the floor by the bed and there was no soap in the shower.

After getting in early in the morning, and having only a few hours of sleep, the hot water wasn’t working, and the plumbing was in disrepair. We were standing in several inches of water, and it was only cold water in the sink and shower. An excuse was made that the electricity was out, but I didn’t find that to be true. They wanted us to use another room when we were fully dressed and at checkout time, but if the hot water wasn’t working anywhere in the property, it seems very inconsistent. We were offered a small reimbursement, but this hasn’t happened as yet. This was more like Motel 6 quality, and extremely expensive. I will stick with major brands from now on.

The room looked brand new! It was very clean and updated. The pullout couch was nice, but there was no bedding available for it. The front desk gave us a blanket and pillow when we asked, but we ended up having to use a sheet from one of the other beds to lay down on the mattress. The shower was luke warm and never got very hot. Other than that, it was a great stay! Very good for the price. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

Be advised that this is a motel, not a hotel. When I arrived to check in at 11:30 pm, there was no parking near my room. I'm 70 years old and I had to carry my luggage up a flight of steps as there was no other way to get to the second floor. Not only did none of the lights work in the room, but the air conditioning would only blow heat and the room was 85 degrees upon arrival. I had to walk back to the office to get a new room. At least the gentleman on duty was kind enough to help me carry my luggage down the steps to my new room. That room was much better but the bathroom floor was filthy and there was no body wash in the shower. "Breakfast" consisted of baked goods and waffles, coffee and juice. For me, that's not really breakfast. And there was no cream for the coffee. Overall, a disappointing experience.

This calls itself a hotel but its clearly a motel. I appreciate that they have tried to modernize but that craftsmanship was pretty poor. The mattress was one of the worst I have slept on. And now for some reason when they try to refund me the $50 deposit they can't. Overall absolutely not worth $170 per night

Staying here is not recommended. Our experience was not good. Here is why:

ROOM
- The room (225) appeared clean but was not as clean one would expect.
- The table was very poorly assembled which caused it to wobble excessively.
- There was no room service at all. If we needed toiletries, towels, wash cloths, etc., we had to go to the office to get them ourselves. Our soiled bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, sheets, and blankets were never removed and replaced. We stayed there for 5 days and not once did anyone come in to clean the room.
- The toilet base was cracked and poorly repaired.
- The sink stopper lever was very difficult to operate and did not keep water from draining.
- There were no hooks in the bathroom on which you could hang towels and such.
- No ability to hang clothing bags. No closet.

PROPERTY
- Renovation materials were being stored outside in the parking lot and in guest passage ways.
- There is no swimming pool.
- It appears that the bare minimum is done to meet codes and keep the place operational.

WE WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

Highly recommend this place for the Beverly Hillbillies. For what I paid, this was a massive ripoff. Although it was clean, I had a chair leaned up against my door, fearful of the level of clientele. The door had no safety features. There were no rugs in the entire room. The check in person was sweet. Actually, she was the best feature of this property. It took me twenty minutes to locate the motel, and when I got there I knew immediately that I was in big trouble. If I hadn’t prepaid via Expedia, I wouldn’t have gotten out of there as fast as I could. Highly do not recommend this place. I compare my stay as booking a room at Motel 8, for $79.99. At $169….shame on you.

I was here for a total of one hour. This is not a hotel, it's a motel with a major highway right next to it. The room smelled bad, my TV didn't work, and the sheets didn't fit the bed. The bed was also really low to the ground as it consisted of a wood platform with one mattress on it. I was on the first floor and people above me were walking around so much and that's all I could hear. I will never stay here. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!

Overall our stay was good. Property is a bit hard to find, hidden down behind other businesses and lots. Our room could definitely have been cleaner. There was hair on the toilet and in the shower drain. The handle in the shower is broken so when rotated towards the hot water, it falls all the way to the hottest setting. I had to rig it with a washcloth so as to not get too hot. Walls are a bit thin so easy to hear other guests. Continental Breakfast was good and as expected except there were no tea bags. Only coffee. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Overall was a decent stay but could’ve been cleaner with amenities that aren’t broken.

First off, this is a MOTEL not a hotel as it is named. Even their sign reads motel. Why is this mislabeled on hotels.com?
There was a stream of fried rice leading up the bulletproof glass window for check in that was a nice touch for welcoming guests. Didn’t feel comfortable staying here even though I paid for it ahead of time.

I made the reservation just to have somewhere to sleep with my family for one night. When we arrived at the room at around 10pm, we heard low music playing from one of the nearby rooms. As the time progressed, the music kept getting louder, to the point where it was vibrating through the walls. There was also loud chatter and doors slamming. Some sort of party going on. At around 1:40am, instead of coming to see where the commotion was coming from, we received a phone call as we were trying to sleep through the noise, from the front desk assuming it was coming from our room. They stated that they received a noise complaint and we let them know that it was not coming from our room. It was not until about 3-3:30am, when someone from the office finally went and shut down the party. We had a terrible night and barely slept since we had to be up early the next morning to continue our long drive. When we checked out, they didn't offer any type of full or partial refund, even though they stated they received multiple complaints. Other than that, the room was clean and reasonable for a short stay.

Staff was very helpful. 24/7 front desk, I did lock myself out and someone was there to activate it. The fixtures in the room were nice but they literally slapped it on top of peeled paint and holy drywall. There was also what looked like a footprint on the back of my bathroom door. The frame of which was clearly kicked in at one point and then just painted over.

No fault of their own, but the area down back by the highway has poor cell reception. The place is also in a weird roundabout area off the highway. Never felt unsafe. It’s budget, so you get what you pay for.

As with most hotels, you can park right in front of your door, which was nice because I work out of my car and keeps it accessible.

It's a bit out of the way, other that that we had a comfortable stay with a decent bed and nice bathroom. The TV should be replaced, it was small 20 or 32 inch model from a decade or two back. We wanted to watch the hokey game, but it was too frustrating with the small size and black dots on the screen.

The bad: Very noisy air conditioner and outside traffic. The worst parking entrance and parking lot ever! Wow, unbelievable hard to find at night. High step to get into the room, not recommended for any elderly person. Breakfast was all carbs, no eggs, bacon or sausages. We ended up going to a few local breakfast places which got pricey. Ended being more than $200 a
night somehow, so recommend looking elsewhere and book directly.

The room was generally clean, but the amenities were terrible. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body soap. There were reusable fillable containers that were empty.. We had no toilet paper. I had to ask for toilet paper and extra towels and we just made do with the one bar of soap we were given. The bed was fine. There is a refrigerator. The breakfast was awful. The coffee maker wasn’t working and then by the time they got it working it was basically Sanka/some powdered coffee mix.

I get disappointed when I pay for a comfort and when I get to the place I only find discomfort, excessive smell does not mean cleaning, when I opened the bedroom door I almost got sick with the smell of some product that they sprayed in the environment. I asked them to change rooms, and I wasted my time, it didn't smell like fake cleaning but it smelled like dust, because it's having some kind of renovation, I tried to stay right there, but when I tried to use the bath, night the water was stopped in the bathtub, it was clogged, there was a lot of moisture and mold in the bathroom sink furniture. I realized that I would encounter many more problems and gave up on staying there. I asked for a refund of the amount paid and so far I haven't heard back. I hope they solve this because I ended up paying much more in another stay due to all this.

Its clean, looks nice. Finding the reception was a challenge as the sign states Knights Inn.
The walls are thin, and that does not bode well for a restful night sleep if your neighbors are loud, and entering multiple times the rooms adjacent or above you prepare to be up.
I recommend earplugs.
I had previously stayed on the back side of this location, but the highway makes it very noisy - again bring earplugs if you chose to stay here and you'll be fine.

The smell of bug spray dominated the air the whole night we were there, even though they had left the window open ahead of time. The place was clean-ish, but bathroom door had finger marks and visible dirt around the bottom panel. A hole in the trim around the tub was painted over, but still a visible hole. Also, we arrived late after dropping family at the airport. It was so dark, and not well-lit or well-marked, that we went by it twice!

Where to start? This stay was frustrating from beginning to end.

The website lists the wrong address, so GPS takes you to an abandoned hotel nearby. Only after some confusion did we figure out the actual property was over a hill. It's also listed under a completely different name than what we booked, which doesn't help.

At check-in, the front desk staff rushed through everything, spoke too fast to follow, and ended up charging my credit card twice despite a prepaid online booking.

The room was clean but cold. The heater "fixed" that by cycling loudly on and off every five minutes all night; we barely slept. Water pressure was nearly nonexistent.

Parking was fine, right outside the room.

Breakfast: minimal food, no spoons, only OJ to drink.

For the price, this was not acceptable. Too many basic things went wrong. I would not return or recommend.

Cons: The underside of the dining table was disgustingly sticky. Theres a few holes/dents in the walls and cracks in the shower. The freezer in the mini fridge was dirty. The walls are thin, you can hear stomping from above. It is more of a motel than a hotel.

Pros: the staff was nice for check-in and checkout. Theres a microwave, a decently sized bathroom, we could park immediately in front of the room, so it was easy to move things.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the room was clean. However, we could hear the person above us stomping around at all hours of the night, which kept us from sleeping well. The room smelled HEAVILY of flowery chemicals upon arrival and on the last morning, the coffee maker for the included breakfast was broken. There was no coffee maker in the room, no conditioner in the shower, no extra blanket for the bed and only two bath towels. We will not be using this hotel on our next trip.

Listed as Northshore Hotel and when we arrived found out it was a motel, and under the name Knights Inn. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers were all empty. I could tell they were trying to renovate which is great, but being upfront about it being a motel is important. We had a toddler that was woken up multiple times by slamming car doors right outside the room. I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known it was a motel.

We really enjoyed our stay! This is my second time here and it wasn't disappointing. They even had continental breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's not 5 star but nice enough, just some construction in progress. The location is good if not too convenient. Note it is BEHIND another building and it's on a divided highway so you have to do a lot of u turns to get around, lots of round and round. Very enjoyable stay with excellent activities in the area. Very nice and comfy bed also, shower hot.
