However, the noise coming from the heating unit in the room was loud and unbearable. Every time the heating unit switched on, it had a loud noise which felt like being inside a factory; and this would happen countless times during the night. I barely managed to have a proper sleep.

Room needs updating. Curtains old, rugs very old. The shower curtain spelled very strong of mildew. Had to remove it and put it in the closet. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was clean. Not enough lighting to get ready for a wedding. It was fine for one overnight. The staff was pleasant. We were told that they would be moving and updating the property.

I am surprised at the positive reviews. Maybe I just got unlucky? I stayed in building 8, and it is RIGHT next to the on-ramp of the highway. If you get stuck in building 8, I hope you have earplugs! I tried a noise machine app on my phone and it still didn't drown out the highway. The heating system is awful makes a very loud noise every time it turns on and off. I was woken up all night because of it. I opened the curtains to get some natural light and the windows were disgustingly filthy - it looked like they had never been cleaned. I was supposed to stay two nights, but left the next morning at 8:30 am. I returned the key directly to the front desk and apparently they never put in the system that I checked out, so despite reaching out and sharing my bad experience, they would not refund my money for the 2nd night's stay. Sorry, but overall I cannot recommend this place.

The dog walk area is very small but there is plenty of other areas to walk your dog. The room was spotless. Breakfast had many options. The only negative thing we could say is one toilet had been clogged by a previous guest so it wouldnt flush. My husband fixed the toilet.

The man who stays permanently underneath us complained about us walking around. We drove six hours from Pennsylvania to visit Salem upon arrival after check-in we went right to Salem. We only really had a day and a half to spend there so when we came back to our room, we still had to put stuff away and unpack. My family sat at the kitchen table playing a game when the front desk called and woke my husband up to complain that we were walking around too much and being noisy. I don’t know why a Tourist would be put above a permanent resident who’s going to complain about them. The next day we were afraid to even talk in the apartment or do anything really because of fear of the neighbor complaining so it really did put a damper on our fun.

Great staff. Room was very spacious and I would definitely recommend this property. However the matrices are… hard beds, light in stairway lit up the entire room and couldn’t be shut off so we covered as best we could. The kitchen had very limited pans. Not a single fry pan just a sauce pan and, a baking tray, and a Dutch oven. Housekeeping was amazing. Breakfast was adequate but not great.

Shower rod in bathroom where screwed in on both sides has signs of Sheetrock deterioration behind wallpaper as it is sunken into wall. Had gotten 6 card and only two would work for door entry. Room downstairs was shown having doors on door opening and did not. Also had the paws magnet and room all set magnet on door for bride and bridesmaids to get ready in and hotel cleaner had still walked in WITHOUT WARNING of any kind. She also stayed for like 3 minutes trying to talk/explain instead of just shutting the door and leaving

2 night stay. Convenient to commute between Salem and Rockport. Our apartment was 2 bedroom as we travel with our adult son. Its hard to find suites that are not just a pull out sofa in the Livingroom area. We did not use the stove or dishwasher. Best feature was the ability to set the air conditioning down to 60 and actually feel it. The bed mattress was too hard for us, but that is a personal preference. Room cleaning service is by request, but we found extra towels in the closet, so didn't ask for any.

I would give this hotel a 10/10 for cleanliness of the rooms, common areas, pool and maintained grounds. The room was like a studio apartment, with plenty of seating and open area. The price was far below the other hotels in the area during peak season. The included breakfast had everything including, even iced coffee.

Upon checking in, my husband and I were greeted by a friendly staff member who thoroughly explained everything we needed to know. Our room was located on the opposite side of the entrance, requiring a short drive and climbing one flight of stairs.
The accommodations featured a spacious king-sized bed, full kitchen, sofa, and a fireplace (though it appears to be non-functional for some time), plus a shower-tub combination. The room was immaculately clean, though there was a curious scent reminiscent of insect repellent—which I certainly prefer over encountering any actual pests!
The bed provided good comfort, though it was on the firmer side. We appreciated the entertainment options, with access to Netflix on the television. The blackout curtains were particularly impressive, creating a perfectly dark environment when drawn.
Breakfast exceeded our expectations with a diverse selection including sausage, oatmeal, waffles, cheese/vegetable omelets, mixed fruits, yogurts, and bagels with various spreads. My only suggestion for improvement would be the omelets, which were slightly overcooked and dry.
Overall, our experience was positive, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.

We stayed for a week while our house was being painted. We opted for a penthouse suite to give us the most room and it was perfect. We had our 2 cats with us and were both working from the room; having the space to spread out was ideal. (The kitties loved the open loft especially!)
The furniture and carpet are a little 'tired' and the room smelled of smoke when we first arrived (which quickly dissipated with a little Febreze). The front desk offered to move us but we'd got all our stuff in already; appreciated, nonetheless. That said, we had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning and slept very well. The entire hotel is very quiet!
The hotel management were very flexible with us when we first thought we'd only need 4 nights which then turned into 5 and then 7...and even let us check out late. Very friendly and professional. We were also impressed when they called to ask us to move our cars so their plows could completely clear the parking lot after 8\" of snow followed by ice fell; most places would have just cleared the driveway only but they took extra care to clear the parking spaces and shovel/ sand the sidewalks as well.
The breakfast a nice little perk as well; nothing fancy but lots of selection and the people there were also friendly, helpful and attentive.

When turning the heat up it made the upper loft area very warm. So we kept the temperature lower and used extra blankets when watching TV, etc.

The stay was okay. The location is not convenient to get back and forth to when taking day trips. Parking not convenient for every unit. Freezing cold and had to walk two buildings away. Due to drafty entrance door, we had to smell pot smokers from unit next to us. Front desk took care of noise after we called at 1am. Otherwise, the unit was nice.

My husband, toddler and I stayed here the weekend before Halloween. The steakhouse right next to it was a nice touch. It was nice to be close enough to Salem but also at a distance from the chaos of it all (again Halloween weekend). Just minutes from Connor’s farm. This property was unique with outdoor entry to each unit. The staff were attentive and friendly. The only challenge was finding a convenient parking spot near the room. Because there is one entry from outside, it can be a bit of a walk depending on where you find a spot. We idled behind parked cars to unload and then found a spot. Aside from that, it was a great experience. The room was clean and super comfortable. It is close to the highway, yet we couldn’t hear any of the cars driving from the room. The full kitchen was a well set up perk.
