There was a noticeable amount of men's facial hair (from shaving) on the tissue box holder and the bathroom vanity. The kitchenette was not clean - there were crumbs and a small amount of trash on the floor and counter, and grease/cooking oil on the exterior of the stove and a countertop, as well as a small hardened spill on the kitchen floor. The kitchen faucet had something all over it. When I checked out, I asked to speak with the manager but was told she was not in. I briefly explained the specific instances of uncleanliness and left my phone number so the manager could respond. So far, I have heard nothing.
I realize that it is an extended stay hotel and that people prepare meals in their room; however, someone on the first floor had fried fish and the odor was very strong when I left the hotel. It still smelled terrible when I returned a few hours later!

Room was decent for what we needed. Could not control the fan in the room. Would've liked to have the room cooler with the fan running throughout the night. Ended up having to open the windows. Found some hairs in the bathroom from a previous guest.

Candlewood Suites is my favorite place to stay when I’m in Danvers. It’s clean, comfortable, and just a bit off the beaten path. Having a kitchen means that, although there are many good places to eat in the area, I’m not entirely chained to restaurants. Thanks for another good trip.

Great place it’s a kitchen. Hotel has a oven stove top microwave coffee maker, toaster big refrigerator great staff and you can even do your laundry for free. Great great place and the price is reasonable 120 a night can’t beat that.

The room was clean. My complaint was the mattress. It was so used, I sank giving a nasty back ache on saturday. My wife woke with nasty hip pain.
We rotated the mattress on saturday, but the damage was already done. The mattress was somewhat better once rotated.
As of this evening, (sunday), were hurting & on heating pads.

The room was nice and clean. The room had a bit of a smell to it the whole weekend, but it wasnt something that caused any discomfort and wasnt noticeable after being in the room awhile. The heater in the first room we were given was stuck on , but the gentleman at the desk quickly switched us to a different room. Would consider staying again if coming back to the area !

Last minute booking that turned out perfectly! Loved the space and the room I was placed in. Two bedrooms, stocked kitchen, spacious and stocked bathroom, comfortable couch… not one complaint! Lived the complimentary coffee/tea upon arrival, very convenient to Salem (our reason for traveling to the area). Highly recommend and know where I will be booking to stay next October!

A little outdated, but good. They only provided coffee for one of the 2 mornings we reserved and we had to go outside in a noreaster to the other building if we wanted more coffee. There were no maps or guidance to get to the laundry or fitness. Never did find the fitness.

Flies in room, sticky candy/gum under bed, patched holes not painted, kitchen tile missing, not repaired, not painted, rust on ceiling in bathroom, fridge broken and had to throw out food, people stomping up and down stairs. Staff not empathetic and unwilling to change rooms. We work hard for our money, $1200 is almost 3/4 our montly mortgage payment and if we are spending that much for 3 nights the room should be in much better condition. I dont believe a package of cheese and prosciutto along with hotel points (which we aren't earning since we went through hotels.com) is appropriate compensation. I would request one nights cost of stay to be refunded.

Staff was nice. Checked in quickly. Only issue at first was not enough towels. Was told they would be dropped off but they weren’t so we had to call hours later but they brought them right away. Our reservation had the exact amount of people so

The room was not clean! Went down to allow the girl at the desk a pundit of the dirt coming off the bottom of our feet in the bathtub and the pictures of the dirt on the towels that we used to clean the kitchen floor. Her response was \"oh OK\" i asked if they could send someone to clean it her response \"we only do housekeeping weekly and you're only here for a week. So that meant deal with it! The trash beside the entry door is constantly full and overflowing as well. Unfortunately I didn't book directly with IHG and will never make that mistake again.

IHG was such a nice property in Danvers, MA. It is quiet, clean and the staff is well trained. The kitchen was equipped with a full size refrigerator, a microwave, a garbage disposal, a dish washer, an oven and a stovetop! I will definitely stay there again the in the future.

Hotel was good, staff was eh the person I checked in with was nice but the person I checked out with was not the greatest, the power went out and they didn’t have generators and wouldn’t refund us any money since it was a transformer that went out aka a town problem? The manager wasn’t professional about it at all and was honestly kinda rude when we asked, there was no emergency lights or anything in the room so when it went out we were in complete darkness for 4 hours! Didn’t feel safe at all, but was nice it was dog friendly.

2 bedrooms 1bath - only 2 bath towel given and have to go to the offices for extra towel, mini kitchen but no utensils. Room have dishwasher but no soap, toilet have empty body wash and toilet have flush and backup problem. No trash bag available and so many to mention.

It was really gross. It smelled like cigarettes. The room was really run down, holes in the walls and ceilings. The refrigerator didn’t work and when we told the front desk, they said they couldn’t do anything about it.

Little Gem in Danvers

This is my favorite place to stay when I visit family in Peabody. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully appointed, clean and comfortable. It’s very nice to have a small kitchen available during an extended trip. The staff is consistently pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend.
