I very much enjoyed my stay. The hotel is attractive, clean and comfortable. The staff is wonderful, very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

The food and service at Pastry Addiction/October Sky is first rate.

I had some language issues, but that’s a “me problem” because I’m the one not speaking the right language. :)

Should I manage a future visit to this wonderful country, the Meramare Pattya will be my first choice. Very highly recommended.

I found one very minor maintenance issue and let the front desk know.

I am in a wheelchair. Although not perfect it did meet my needs and the hotel worked hard to make my stay easier.
Large rooms, wide doors, tile floors and a big counter with knee room made it great.
Downside. Beds too close together so I couldn't access closet or safe or telephone and light switches.
Staff was exceptional. Kind courteous quick to respond. I never opened a door or pushed myself up the ramp to the hotel. Plus the security would check where I was going and kept a close eye on me so I felt very safe. Even though the whole area and attitude of the people made me feel comfortable everywhere I went.

We had the 2 room signature ocean view 3 bed suite Excellent room and amazing view. Only thing I didn’t like is that it only covered 3 people for breakfast yet all rooms come in 2’s… so technically I should have had 4 people covered for… something that should be looked at. Apart from that great location and cannot beat that view :)

This was a great hotel experience!

The staff is very professional and courteous, the loctation is perfect because its rightnacross the street from Pattaya Beach. Because the hotel itself sits a little away from the street, there was no real street noise heard in the room even though Beach Rd is a main thoroughfare (especially at night).

The food options were great! Although the price for cocktails was a little pricey for the area, the environment made it acceptable.

The only less than satisfying issue was how hard the bed mattress is. I understand that this may be the typical preference l, but I prefer a much more softer and plush mattress.

I only took 1 star because this is only my preference and not a flaw of the hotel. If there was an option to add a mattress pillow top or to offer rooms with softer mattresses, this would be 5 stars!

I definitely intend to visit this hotel again in the future!

It was a decent hotel. The one weird thing was that they charged me for an ashtray that broke on the balcony. The wind blew the table over and the ashtray broke when i wasn't even in the room. Next day I got a bill slipped under my door for 250 thai baht for the ashtray. Pretty lame. Felt like a really petty thing to do. I don't even smoke or use ashtrays! I requested a non-smoking room and here I am paying for a stupid ashtray. Hotels should realized a little good will goes a long way in building customer relationships. I come to Pattaya a few times a year. There are lot's of hotels to choose from. Is an ashtray worth losing a guest forever? I guess so for this hotel. I would not recommend staying here. You may be overharged for someing random.

Good location, staff were all very helpful and nice.
There was a Lack of storage in the room, only had 1 small drawer for all my clothes, asked for an additional chest of draws, but housekeeping only had a wooden clothes rack. Room was tired looking and definitely needed a makeover. Patio door frame was bowed so you could see daylight gap, light switch to bathroom was faulty, had to request maintenance to fix it, night watch security guard was very helpful and pleasant, so special thank you to him. He kept us all safe at night.

We booked a corner Seaview room, and was given room 315, it overlooks the pool at eye level, pointless having a sea view room because you have to have the curtains pulled on to prevent anyone using the pool area looking directly in. The windows need tinting to prevent this. Disappointing room for the extra money.

Very friendly staff, great location, nice pool, secure parking. Room in ok condition though there was mould on the ceiling. Unfortunately the bed was so uncomfortable, very hard mattress and no topper. Not the type of bed that should be expected in a high end hotel. I had a further booking that I cancelled purely due to how uncomfortable the bed was and booked into another hotel

This is a amazing Hotel. So comfortable. Has a incredible staff of workers. The Kitchen for Breakfast is like sitting a home. Again the workers amazing. Good Breakfast. Wide variety of choices. My room was not the top room choice but a huge room. Massive Bathroom and Bed area. Nice little Balcony to sit on. Nice gym room. Small but nice. Great lobby to relax in. Outside seating also very comfortable. Really good Dessert and Coffee Bar. I really have found my go to place in Pattaya. Oh and the beach is a simple walk across the street. One minute your on the beach. Parking on site. I highly recommend this Hotel.

Excellent styling and boutique feel. Great location, not far from activities and nightlife but quiet and relaxing. Great service all round - from reception, house keeping to the restaurant. Buffet was great, as were the cocktails and pastries at the cafe. Pool area a bit small (understandably given the building size) but beach is right there too. Would definitely stay again (with beach view).

Staff in morning was friendly . We felt welcomed when we checked in.

Hygiene - washroom and bathroom is always cleaned well. House keeping does a great job.
But if you spill any sugar / food the next moment when you come back to your hotel room you will notice ants . I think they should have a way of getting rid of ants crawling over the counter with coffee and sugar cream area. Gets pretty annoying. I had to clean up and put the sugar cream in fridge. Not convenient and you don’t have this issue in good hotel.

Set up of room : it’s nice.

Service after check out : Rude when they ask for slippers missing. You are not suppose to be reusing them. People could be having sweaty feet . It’s very unhygienic. People have calluses , corn or some kind of feet disease that can spread. How can they be re using it. I never knew until they asked where is the slippers. We don’t mind paying for it which we did 300 but it’s suppose to be free. Not a lot when u convert to Canadian CAD but still It’s common sense to Give it away or throw the slippers and stop being so cheap . It just puts me off. If my bag wasn’t locked I would have gave it ! I just didn’t know if it was in my luggage or my friends luggage.

There is beach right outside but it’s not the best beach. Not very clean. You can just walk around the city eat shop and drink. Do massage and relax .seafood amazing.

Not a real five star. Really a low four or high three star hotel. Look nice on the surface but use very cheap materials for decor. Bed is horrible, hard cheap and not comfortable at all. Can get same bed at three star hotels.

The service is not good. Hotel charges you fees for losing your room card or get locked out of room. $200 baht per card. Not expensive but this cheap way of doing business is not good service and definitely not a five star experience.

This would be a low end four star hotel. Definitely no where near a five star.

When we checked in, the front desk lady showed me a pair is slippers and a bath robe said you are not allowed to bring them to the beach, haha, who’s wearing hotel slippers and bath robe to the beach. I don’t like the way she told us, rude. The mattress was bad, the shower door couldn’t close completely, outside was noisy, I got waken up b 4 six in the morning, location was good but the room rate they charged, I rather stayed Hard Rock Hotel, that located next to them. For sure, I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends and would not stay there again. Also, I paid more for including breakfast, it was a mistake, the breakfast was BAD there. It showed they received some kind of reward last year in the elevator, haha, the standard of getting rewards should be very LOW.

I won't stay here again

I will never stay in this hotel again.
The bed is terrible. Its very noisy you can hear every single sound outside the corridor. And you even hear the phone ringing from the next room. I can't believe they got an award of luxury hotel. The water from the shower is very strange, the water is very hot and suddenly it will be freezing cold and then hot again, it's out of control. My room has a balcony but there's no chair or stool, they gave you an ashtray for smoking in the balcony but you will need to either hold the ashtray yourself or put it on the floor. I stay for 5 nights, the ashtray is never clean or empty.
If you really need me to say something good about the room is the air con and the fridge is very cold.

The first room was ok, but was a little smaller than the same room from higher up floors, and the bed was too hard. The staff were kind enough to change to another room with better bed. The next day was moved to the nicer bigger room. No complaints other than the AC doesn't seem to allow temperature change. It just kept getting colder, no matter set to 27°C, 30°C- it would always go below 21. But the room was cool enough at night with AC off.

Situated right beside Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya, you can’t miss this hotel!
Rather new hotel, free parking, rooms are of hip decor, walking distance to city centre hotspots!
Only problem is driving there, you have to hit the road along the waterfront to get into the hotel, can’t follow the direction on google map which leads you to Hard Rock Hotel, the guards there says you can’t get pass their private road to go straight to Mera Mare...

Pros:
1. Location of the hotel is pretty good, walk away distance to the city center and beaches around.
2. Neat rooms, very well maintained. Courteous house keeping staff
3. Food in the pastry shop and the restaurant is pretty good.

Cons:
1. Pathetic service in restaurant. Arrogant staff (\"po\" - pathetic waiter). They treat you very bad, especially if you are an Asian. They have shouted at me in couple of occasions for no reason. No respect, not even a glimpse of courtesy.
2. May be it was new year, they were making business out of early checkins. They were charging 1600 baht for early check in - beware if you are going with small kids or booking the room for early check-in after a tiresome flight. I have requested for late check out and they were never willing to do so (Front office staff will push you to vacate rooms early saying other guests are waiting for the rooms). Smart business people, but not service oriented.

I ever wonder, how it has won so many awards. May be they are all a Joke or a lie.They really don't know what services is.

I might stay here again (only because of the location and nice rooms), but I will be very careful to check in only after 2.00 PM. Surely will opt out breakfast in my room package and will not even look at the restaurant.

A good place for party people: Just next too Hard Rock Hotel and their epic pool parties, live band events and heart pumping pool aerobics sessions. This place has great party vibes!
Great room service, friendly staff. Very close to the beach.
Maybe not to recommend for the traveler who is looking for a calm quiet place.

The condition of Hotel Mera Mare is pretty good it’s a modern and clean hotel. The LED lighting in the rooms is a nice touch but the bathroom is too dark especially by the wash basin as I could hardly see well enough to shave. I would not recommend using the laundry service. It’s very expensive and even though the laundry was supposed to be returned in 12 hours it took 2 days and the staff were not helpful at all. But the biggest problem with this hotel is that it’s next door to the Hard Rock Café which plays loud outdoor music at night. At times the music is so loud things inside my room would start vibrating to the bass. The music stops before midnight so if you’re a late night person it’s probably not an issue.

Could have been much better experience. I had to twin beds which I did not even realize. Usually I get 2 doubles or better. They were very small and kind of hard. Lightning in bathroom not great specifically sink/mirror area. Last day there was a lot of tiny debris all over bed sheets. Also last day not a good cleaning job/replacing of bath amenities. Glass shelf where they put the bath towels was not clean (lot of obvious lint). They did switch me to a king size bed only last 2-3 days (better). No light switch by entry door kind of odd/annoying. Could hear hallway noise too clearly like walls were paper thin. Not that there was a lot of noise though just saying. All that being said was nice and new looking hotel/rooms and lobby area. Breakfast looked good although I did not try. Too ridiculously expensive. Staff were friendly seemingly attempted to help.
