Polite staff, clean room with kitchenette. This is not your typical hotel though. They only do weekly cleaning of rooms. You are responsible for cleaning your dishes and utensils. Parking and laundry facilities are available at extra charge. I believe they do have all this written down somewhere on the listing. Just be mindful.

The hotel was conveniently located to the main city area which was great as we could walk and not have to use the car. The room was comfortable and large enough for 3. Beds were comfortable and the facilities good. Onsite laundry (at a cost) a bonus.

Located in good position for exploring Rennes. Car park a bonus. Lady on reception friendly and helpful.
This is basic accommodation. Reminded me of my son's student room. Our room was dated and very small. Not like the photos! There was a bad smell which we located from the kitchen sink so plugged it up.
However the shower and wifi were good and bed comfy. It was quiet while we were there. Perfectly good for 1 night.

Yes there is scaffolding but we booked at weekend, so no workmen around. It wasn't a problem as it was for updating the exterior of the hotel.

Excellent location. In easy walking distance if the old town and main tourist sites. Some very interesting cafes and eateries on the doorstep. The premises offer a nice lounge area and garden which was being redone unfortunately but obviously is a real asset in good weather. Rennes is a very interesting town and this is a good base fir a visit.

I liked that the beds were comfy, including the sofa bed! The studio was very clean and the bathroom of decent size.
I didn't like that the studio was not as pretty and large as the one in the picture in Expedia. I think that it would be a great idea to see exactly what you are going to book.
I would have liked to have a couple of instant coffe sachets included.

I have stayed in Aparthotels in Lyon, Bordeaux and Aix , all of which were superb. Sadly the Rennes hotel is not. The rooms are nothing like as nice as the photos used on their website and the firing, particularly the bathroom are old and worn out.

Nice aparthotel very close to the downtown Rennes

Everything was as expected. The room was clean and well equipped. We had two rooms and in one of them some family members were complaining about the quality of the mattresses. In my room they’ve seemed fine. Maybe a bit too soft, but it might be a matter of individual preference. Couldn’t understand why only two towels per room, a face one and a larger size one. But otherwise good location and overall value for the price.

The price and quality met very well in this hotel. Hotel was well situated, very close to the city center, but still the atmosphere there was calm and peaceful. The room had enough space and kitchen was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was ok. The staff spoke English well enough. I would defenitely visit this aparthotel again and I recomend it strongly :)

At walking distance from the city center, very clean apartment and helpful staff. Good value for money. Only point to improve is to put a communicator/interphone on the access gate of the parking. First you have to go to reception desk, leaving the car in an area without parking places, afterwards they give you the key allowing to enter their garage.

Great value for money

The girl at the Reception desk was really sweet and helpful (Valerie I believe). The aparthotel is located close to the city center. The serviced flat was fine (note - no daily cleaning). The breakfast was quite nice. I would recommend the place.

We had a short stay (wife's conference). It appears that most guests are on extended stays. We used the underground parking, which worked beautifully. The location is just fab. The staff were also fab, and fluent in English at the front desk. The rooms are pretty large and comfortable.

The accommodation and location was perfect for me!

I was very happy with everything and the very helpful staff, especially with the transitions important to a visitor from another country. The kitchenette was very efficient. I really like the decorating and the layout of the studio.

I only had to soften the quite firm bed mattress with a quilt on top of the sheet to sleep well. This was a solution.

The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Bear in mind that at the hotel they don't replace the towels on a daily basis unless this service is paid for and the room is only cleaned by housekeeping if you are there for longer than 7 days.

Lovely budget hotel with the facilities for cooking to be done in the room. We will be back to this hotel.

Impressively clean room. The bed was very comfortable (I like a firm mattress). The staff were mostly very helpful & at times went out of their way to make my stay go well. The room was of a good size with good enough facilities and equipment. For the price this is an excellent place to stay.

At times the noise from outside the hotel - from its garden - was a bit much. Don't expect to have an early night in peace & quiet. But this is actually looking for something to criticise as it wasn't in any way a significant issue!

It provided easy walking access to the fascinating Old Town of Rennes.

I have already recommended it to friends.

Ideal location to explore a lovely city

This hotel is in an ideal location for exploring the city of Rennes, within easy walking distance of the centre. Secure underground car parking at a reasonable charge is an added bonus. Hotel is clean; staff pleasant and helpful; buffet breakfast available at extra charge if required, but we didn't use this facility as rooms were adequately equipped to prepare breakfast, snacks, etc. for ourselves. Easy driving distance north to Mont St Michel - don't miss a visit to this iconic spectacle!

Second time we have used this accommodation. It is a good location because it only takes minutes to walk into the center. There is parking at the hotel which is handy - but the cost does mount, it is chargeable every day.

The hotel is perfectly acceptable but not outstanding, however I cannot fault the reception staff who were all friendly and helpful. The rooms are reasonable value for money but the breakfast is charged separately and is, in my view, quite expensive. One drawback of being on the ground floor was that there was no window in our room, only a door which we did not feel comfortable leaving open all night, so the room was very stuffy.

The central location was excellent. There was some parking on the street outside or secure parking for a fee.The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and modern. The kitchenette idea especially having a fridge. The room was an ideal size for two, certainly sufficient room unlike many other places. Pet friendly. I can't recommend it more highly for the price.

Clean but clinical, good for self-catering

We stay at this hotel because it's nearest to where our family lives, but it's in a quiet area just a short walk from the bustling centre of town - there always seems to be something happening in this lively student town, and the big market on Saturdays is great fun.

It's not the sort of hotel where you'd go back to your room to relax: the floors in the rooms are polished - sensible in the kitchen area but not very inviting around the bed, giving the room a clinical feel. It's efficient rather than comfortable. Good for self-catering though.

Expedia included tax in the price, but we still had to pay it. Hardly a deal-breaker at 1.5 Euros, but a small hiccup in Expedia's accuracy. Perhaps they've corrected it now.

Excellent value for money. Good location walkable to the centre. Everything spotless and spacious although furnishings slightly spartan. Good shower. Reception staff friendly on check-in, also helpful with secure car-parking in garage. Only stayed one night so didn't use extra facilities such as fridge, coffee-maker, etc. Unplugged fridge as this makes a little noise and is in the same open plan space as the bed (our only potential criticism if you're planning a longer stay).

Not worth the price

There was nothing particularly wrong about this hotel, in the same way that there was nothing particularly right about it either. It was simply ok. It was not far or close from the centre. And it was so plain I might as well have been in a hospital. It's not that I expected a luxury hotel but given the price of the rooms I definitely consider they should have put some more effort in making it nice. Moreover, we stayed for two days and they were meant to clean our room daily. The only think they did was to pull back the quilt on top of the bed, not even bothering to straighten the bed sheet underneath, empty the bins, or clean the used glasses in the sink. It wasn't dirty though... Overall, I think it is unbelievably overpriced I would surely not return there.

Functional small apartment offering good value

We visited Rennes to meet family and see the city. The hotel apartments are well located near the centre of the city.

The apartment we had was fairly small but with a lot of storage. There was a small kitchen table with two chairs and a desk with chair plus a bookcase. There was no easy furniture. While we did not use the kitchen much it had a hob and microwave as well as a refrigerator.

We were able to park the car in the underground car park early on the day of arrival well before the 3pm check in. We were also able to leave the car there after we checked out. Cost of parking was very reasonable daily rate.

We stayed here for 5 nights, probably 4 nights too long. Not the cheapest apartment hotel in Rennes but apparently (based on ratings) the best. Good location but that is where good stops. With the exception of one member of staff the rest need to work on their customer relation skills. We booked a family room which was a good size but only had a shower but no bath, we have two children (5 & 2) neither of which like showers. We were switched to a \"superior\" studio, which did have a bath but no space to move around. In addition, the condition of the hotel room was poor dusty floors, chipped furniture and dirty walls. The microwave didn't work properly, the freezer compartment in the fridge was broken (they did provide a new fridge) and the room, which over looked the street, was too hot. At night we could either overheat and sleep badly or have the windows open be comfortable but sleep badly because of street noise. We gave up asking the staff for help as they couldn't or wouldn't do anything to help. When I mentioned that the hotel wasn't too family friendly all they said was they didn't really cater for smaller children. Good for adults or families with older children but not young families.

Briilliant studio room!!

My husband and I thought the studio room was perfect for what we needed. It meant we could eat in or out and do as we please. Very impressed with the cleaniness of the whole hotel, the receptionist was a delight, very helpful and polite. Although the hotel wasn't in the most perfect location for us, it was the type we needed. Great to have hotel underground parking although it was a bit pricey at least we had a safe and guaranteed parking spot. We were disappointed in the breakfast on offer and it was not worth the price. Nice quiet location.

Very pleased with this hotel and a fantastic city!

I booked this hotel because it was on offer on Expedia, and was very pleased when I got there! My room was modern and spacious - double bed, desk, and a small kitchen area with fridge/freezer, hob, microwave and table. Everything was very clean. Was pleasantly surprised that my room was actually at the same standard as those shown on the website, unlike a lot of hotels! I didn't opt for the breakfast, as I found it was cheaper to just prepare my own. The staff seemed friendly and helpful.
The hotel itself is located within a very short walk of the main shops/bars/restaurants (metro st anne) on a quiet (but not lonely) street. This makes it a great base for anyone that wants to explore the area without spending a massive amount on the hotel.

HUGE family hotel room

We got in very late (midnight-ish) after a long day at Mont St-Michel and were tired and a little worried about getting into the hotel and room (would the front desk be manned late? would our room still be there?). Staff was friendly and helpful. We were exhausted and so happy to find such a large, clean room - we have 2 adult children in their early 20s and we all had our own bed with lots of space plus a dining area and fully stocked kitchen (even had a wine corkscrew)! Our accommodation was a truly enormous studio apartment at a hotel room price. The bathroom was massive but could have used some towel racks and shelves for toiletries.

The advantages of the hotel are; a good location for being able to walk to the various attractions of Rennes whilst being in a quiet neighbourhood; having an underground car park (6 euros/day), being well equipped (crockery, cutlery, etc.) except for the lack of a kettle (we had to use a pan to heat water for tea/coffee); having wired access to the internet. Our room was on the ground floor had had access to quite a spaceous courtyard with beds of flowers. There were slight signs of aging with some of the fixtures and fittings but we didn't find this a problem. The receptionist was efficient and spoke good English. There was also an excellent patisserie nearby with tables where you could get coffee and pain chocolat/croissants.

Based on various reviews, I was expecting a clean room with internet access, a friendly, English-speaking staff, and a location near the city center (as opposed to near the train station, a longish walk away from the most interesting part of town). The hotel satisfied all of these expectations. The only thing to carefully watch are the days and hours when the hotel is locked and there is noone in reception(these are clearly noted on the website)to avoid surprises at the time of checkin. Would definitely stay in this hotel (or others in this chain)again...

Don't arrive after 21:00

My plane arrived late and I didn't get into Rennes until 21:30. Unfortunately, this hotel closes at 21:00 and there is absolutely nothing you can do to get your room key after that unless you made prior arrangements. I had to walk 6 km with my bags to find a hotel with a vacancy. They still charged me for my first night's stay.

Lidt dyrt for én person at bo her. Men alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse. Det fungerede fint med tjek-in og de få instrukser der skulle gives ved ankomst.
God lille \"lejlighed\" med eget te-køkken.
Sengen var rimeligt hård. Man kan sagtens høre hvad der snakkes om på de andre værelser, men ikke så slemt at det ødelagde nattesøvnen.
Morgenmaden var ikke noget at råbe hurra for, men det var frisk og spiseligt.

Dejligt lejlighedskompleks med fine små lejligheder. Til prisen er det virkelig godt - rolig beliggenhed, kort gå afstand til restauranter - morgenmaden var virkelig god, stort udvalg og friskpresset juice.

Aparthotel à proximité immédiate du centre

Nous avons réservé un studio pour 2 nuits. Nous avions demandé à être côté jardin et effectivement c'était très calme. Le logement correspond bien à la description faite sur le site. Il n'est pas très grand mais fonctionnel avec son coin cuisine équipé qui nous a permis de faire chauffer des petits plats préparés et de garder de la nourriture au frais.
Il possède une double porte qui isole aussi des bruits du couloir. Pour nous le lit manquait un peu de fermeté et n'était pas très large. Pour 2 nuits pas de ménage ou changement de serviettes mais on le savait et ce n'était pas gênant. Petit-déjeuner complet dont jus d'orange frais.
Nous avons trouvé une place pour nous garer juste devant !
Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir rapidement gagner le centre-ville à pied.
Pour nous ce sera une adresse à recommander pour un budget qualité/prix parfait !

J'ai passé un excellent séjour à l'Aparthotel Adagio Access Rennes Centre. L'établissement est idéalement situé, à seulement 5 minutes du centre-ville et à proximité des transports en commun, ce qui facilite grandement les déplacements. Le couvent des Jacobins est également à deux pas, une belle opportunité pour une visite culturelle.
