Chambre très bruyante avec la circulation juste à côté, construction ancienne, très vétuste, sauf la douche italienne refaite (accessible handicapé) et surtout le meilleur un portail électrique récent qui vous coûtera 5€/jour pour stationner sur un parking privé vide.

Simple budget no-fills stay. Comfortable and with the benefit of secure parking. Easy access to Rennes and a useful stop-over on the way to/from St Malo ferry port. 24hr McD's just across the way for snacks too.

More like a motel than a hotel
I booked this hotel for the close proximity to the airport and it had breakfast. I arrived at 1 pm but the receptionist informed me that check-in started at 2 pm. I literally sat in the lobby until my room key was given to me at 2 pm. I booked a cab for 530 am and asked if I can have a sack breakfast or a cup of coffee at that time but was told they don’t do that. ( Then I saw two staff members eating breakfast at 530am when I was checking out.) All 4 female staff were gathered outside to smoke and no one was able to help me with my WiFi password which was not provided upon check in. The room faced a big round- about across from a shopping mall. No view. Very limited TV channels and no English- speaking channels at all. This was more like a motel than a hotel. A lot of noise from other customers walking in front of my room.

Staff at reception very friendly but I had asked for a double bed and got twin beds, motel style with outdoor access, chains on windows. Clean but very basic and not good value for money at all for the type of room, rate was 108, without breakfast in a not so good area. And I k no ow that my neighbours paid only half the price for the same room. Would not recommend.

Stayed one night. No frills hotel. We were provided a room, however it smelled cigarettes, so we requested another room unfortunately they were only one too available with two single beds.
We went during the heatwave and the room had no AC. We asked if they have any fans and unfortunately no. Our sleep was not great given the room was way too hot.

A normal Campanile, Nothing special. Clean but with a cut-price atmosphere. Room & heating good. Food not. Poor menu with nothing written down,on paper or a slate. Charcuterie cheap. Hamburger cold and overcooked. Salmon accompanied only by a bowl of inedibly soft and tasteless cauliflower sprigs Meal and wine much too expensive. Service understaffed and mediocre. Not particularly welcoming. Would not go there again.

Do not order the lasagne. It is a frozen meal that is then microwaved by the 'chef'!! I know this because my lasagne was hot around the outside and got suspiciously colder as I got towards the middle and then it was actually freezing cold in the middle. You do not need to be Sherlock Holmes to come to the conclusion that they are charging their customers full prices for microwave ready meals. Needless to say I took the food to the counter and told them not to invoice for that 'meal'.

Room 028 (ground floor): Ideal as a overnight stop, some check-in desk staff could speak English (but not all). Rooms are in separate blocks to reception building, so have to go outside to access room. Kettle with Tea/coffee in room, hand gel beside sink and shower gel next to shower over bath. Comfy double bed with spare pillow and extra blanket in wardrobe if required. As an English couple on our camping travels we enjoyed our stay very much 😃

This is a good basic and very cheap hotel with great restaurant. Ideal for short stopover/business traveller. Free parking, close to Rennes centre, no9 bus. Near main road but not too noisy. Staff friendly and helpful

Convenient and inexpensive but \"tired\"
This hotel has not been upgraded and so there was no A/C or climate control (and it was hot in Rennes during our stay) but the window could be opened. We were on the ground floor, which we prefer. Car park was OK. Twin Beds were comfortable but had a thick comforter despite July temperatures. The towel rack had been ripped out of the wall in the bathroom (with a tub, not just a shower) and not replaced. Towels were adequate. However, the hotel is directly off the Rocade Sud at Exit #9 that goes directly into Central Rennes, so it was convenient. The Restaurant was OK; the entrees buffet was a bit \"tired\" at 8 PM but when we asked for a new plate of hams, they brought a better selection. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was so-so clean (toilet had a yellow ring and smelled slightly when left open; even after being flushed 2 times). For 1 night it was convenient, inexpensive and OK but I doubt we stay there again.

This was actually like our motels, basic, but overall a comfortable place to be. The reception staff spoke good English, at least the one that was on the desk when I arrived and she even arranged the taxi before my arrival to collect me from the airport. I felt completely at ease even though I was a lone traveller and wouldn't hesitate to recommend in the future.

Room was nice and comfortable. Very close to the bus stop and McDonalds, which is open 24/7 while other restraurants are closed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only negative was spiders on the ceilings.
