This is a modern business hotel located in a business suburb. We stayed on a Friday night and it was quiet and not busy. The parking garage was convenient and nice to have after a long drive. The hotel room was conventional and clean. They tried to make it interesting with some unique doors. For us, we wanted a clean and convenient place given we were not doing any sightseeing in Rennes. This hotel delivered and we were able to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner.

A very good hotel but VERY cold

Modern property on outskirts of Rennes very close to metro and bus links. We visited for a Christmas shopping trip so it was great to leave the car while visiting the city.
Spacious and confortable rooms, but the bedroom was very cold. Heating is controlled by reception staff. I had to ask twice for the room temperature to be increased to 21 or 22 degrees. There was a slight improvement in room temperature but only for a short period and the temperature dropped down again. It was so cold that it was uncomfortable in the room. The bar and restaurant were even worse, cold and draughty, especially when someone came in from the street. The temperature outside was between 1 and 6 degrees so we never really warmed up during our 2 night stay. I realise that they are trying to save protect the environment (and save money too) but for a Best Western Plus at 4 Star and for the high prices charged this is not acceptable. We could have stayed at one of the many budget hotels for a fraction of the price and been much more comfortable.
Apart from this, staff were pleasant and service was good, the restaurant was excellent but only open on one night of our stay. Could be a very good hotel but stay was spoiled by being too much too cold.

Stayed here for 3-4 nights. Great parking. Very good service - also a refrigerator in the room - which was great. Overall nice hotel and great option if you want to have parking (rare in Europe) / a nice clean hotel / great service / easy access to the city. Bonus - there is a park right across the street which is great for walks. Also, bus terminal is like a block away. Will definitely stay here when i return in a month. Enjoyed the stay!

We were a late booking in Rennes. Having rejected another hotel in the vicinity. Ambre went above all expectations and provided useful information about taxis which we needed. All the staff were very good. An above average sized room and free on site parking. Good value for France

We spent an enjoyable night here en route from the Pyrenees to Cherbourg. The staff were extremely friendly, the bed was very comfy and the room was spacious. Breakfast was varied with lots of organic and local produce, hot and cold dishes. Parking was €12/night for covered, underground spaces within the hotel.

Minor issues:

* A full length mirror in the room would be most appreciated. There was only one above the sink.
* More hooks for towels/clothes are necessary in the bathroom - there was only one - and the towel rail was way above my reach (I’m 5’2’’).
* Please consider separate switches for the large pendant lights either side of the bed - they were very bright too. Small lamps or reading lights each side of the bed, operating independently, are a must in a new 4 star hotel, as is some low lighting.

Overall, I would thoroughly recommend, thank you.

A very comfortable night was had by the four of us here - friendly staff, comfy beds and pillows, lovely toiletries, spacious rooms and a great breakfast the next day. A perfect stopover driving from Toulouse to Cherbourg.

Minor points:
*A full length mirror would be a good addition to the rooms; the only mirror was above the sink.
*More hooks for towels/clothes in the bathroom; there was only one.
*A switch for the bedside pendant lights to enable them to be operated individually would have been nice. They were also very bright. Small reading lamps or lights on both sides of the bed are really needed with individual switches and less wattage.

The hotel room was clean. The hotel was easy to get to from the main road if you’re traveling from St Malo ferry port. The bus stop was a couple of minutes away from the hotel. The bus took about 7-9 minutes to get to main city. There was a large restaurant next door to the hotel - great for food. If you’re a family of four the room is quite tight. We had two single beds and a large sofa bed - which was surprisingly comfortable to sleep on, but the configuration of the beds meant that when you finished in the toilet you had to walk between the two single beds and the sofa bed to get to the bathroom with the sink in it. It was a pleasant clean room. The hotel restaurant served some nice dinner, but the breakfast could’ve been better it was a bit lacklustre. The veggie options were minimal and even the meat options didn’t seem all that varied. Other than that - I’d probably stay in the hotel again if I was visiting Renne again.

The rooms are equipped with all you need for a great stay. The breakfast is as good as or better than going out with a ride selection to satisfy any palette. The staff were absolutely lovely and catered to our needs beautifully. Excellent time !!!!

It was a clean room. The room itself was a good size, clean and orderly. The daily cleaning was not great but not terrible. There isn't much to do in the area but it was an easy to drive to. I didn't like that I had to pay additional for parking. Given the amount I spent on the room and taxes the least the hotel could do was give free parking.

Expensive - small glass of French wine for €11?!*
Bad value - breakfast cost €20pp and was dire. Sloppy scrambled egg, sausage and a fatty sausage. There are cold buffet choices but not really worth €10pp
Customer Service generally poor and virtually nonexistent - no one checked if we had a good night - no one welcomed us - no one greeted us at breakfast or offered us a tea or a coffee.
Generally a substandard stay and remember this is a 4* plus hotel!!! No it isn’t.

Brand new and beautiful facility. Flip side is that it is not accessible by subway until 2020 so the location is inconvenient. It’s better during the weekday since you can take the bus that runs every 15 mins. But when we checked out on a Sunday we missed the bus and ended up having to wait for an hour for the next bus. Also, they can do a better job in the WIFi. But the staff was helpful.

A hotel with human soul

Very good quality. Quiet, spacious room and very supportive staff, especially main reception and breakfast room. Also my thank you and comgratulations to the team at the restaurant Isidore for having responded to my health dietary limitations with amzingly nice and tasty made on purpose dishes on the spot.
Just a pity it is not on a location that I travel to much, but will certainly revcommend to friends and colleagues from abroad and also to colleagues living locally.

Birthday treat in La Belle France

We stayed at this hotel last year and liked it so much we decided to spend our first night in France here,it also happened to be my husband's birthday and when they found this out they upgraded our room which was just beautiful.The decor is modern and very tasteful the beds and the bedding are superb,very comfortable.
Our meal in the restaurant was delicious and they very kindly put a candle on my husband's dessert.The staff were very friendly and efficientThe choice for breakfast was extensive with hot and cold buffet ,everything was locally sourced and mostly organic and again the staff were the same high standard Cannot speak highly enough about this hotel

Great hotel, lovely staff. Only problem is that the hotel has the wrong address on its website so sat nav couldn’t find it. Really frustrating after having driven 400 miles.

Good hotel, but staff needs training

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel, with one major drawback. Housekeeping ignored our do not disturb sign while we were out of the room (see below). Here are some of our thoughts:
+ This seems to be a hotel for business people, in the middle of a business/offices area.
+ In a quiet neighborhood
+ Free secured underground parking
+ Very fast and reliable free wifi
+ Very nice spacious room and comfy bed
--- While we were out in Rennes, housekeeping came into our room, despite a prominent \"do not disturb\" sign on the door, and turned over everything in the room. Not just the bed and the towels, they also re-arranged all of our stuff. It's a good thing our safe was locked... When I talked to the front desk staff, they said they'd \"look into it\".

Great staff, comfortable room

great service and clean room. But the restaurant was closed on the evening I arrived (a Sunday) and so were all the restaurants I can see in the area. The only option was room service but they had nothing vegetarian. But the receptionst was great - she called for and ordered me a vege pizza to be delivered to my room and even brought up a glass of wine to go with it!

Wonderful hotel but don't stay at the weekend

Truly excellent hotel but being primarily a business hotel it has no bar and restaurant over the weekend. Room service is available but I believe is delivered via a microwave oven.

Nice hotel for a stop over. outskirts of Rennes.

We could not find the hotel on sat nav. Decided to look for a nearby road and found from there. The area is very much being built and when finished will be lovely. we didn't intend to go of the hotel and everything was available in the hotel. Car park underneath hotel, lovely Bistro on level 2 and spa area level 3 perfect for us. Hotel was opened 18 months ago and very nice.

Very modern newly built hotel. Great rooms, really comfortable and really nice bar / restaurant. Clean room and bathroom as well as really friendly staff.

Hotel is on the outskirts of town, approx. 15 mins walk to the city centre. Really well priced and includes parking secure parking and is in a quiet area of town but close to the city bypass so really easy access.

This was my second stay for 3 nights. My daugher was starting Uni in Rennes so used this as our base. perfect for what we needed. By car everything seemed to be only 10 mins away:- airport, uni, hypermarket and a local bus into the center of Rennes. This is a new hotel set on a new Business development park so not really much there, more set up for business users. If you are looking for base with comfortable Beds a good shower with friendly staff then it's ideal. Will use again.

Modern hotel in peaceful surroundings.

Fantastic room which was a short walk to the lift. A great advantage being able to park car in secure garage attached to hotel. The staff were most pleasant and helpful at all times and suggested a good eating place nearby as their restaurant closes at the weekend. The restaurant when open is well worth a visit with helpful staff and great food. Breakfast is the usual selection of cold meats, cheeses and cereal although there wasn't the usual large bowl of mixed fresh fruit but this is just a minor criticism. Hotel is very quiet being in an isolated area and would be too far from the city without the use of a car. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it was good value for the money and would certainly stay there again.

Everything was SUPERB- \"Formidable\"

We had a little trouble to find the location of your new hotel -but we were so well looked after by all the team from the Manager down. We had an excellent room, plenty of space, excellent shower and a very comfortable bed - room nicely decorated. Dinner in the 1st floor dining room was good quality at a very reasonable price. Breakfast on its own floor was first class. We arrived for breakfast towards the end of the time period, so the lady ion charge made scrambled eggs and bacon fresh for us . the DYI Orange juice was superb.We have stayed in many hotels and we both rate this one one of the highest for all round excellence- VERY WELL DONE to this HOTEL - REALLY EXCELLENT- Thank you

The hotel it's self was clean as it has only been open for 8 months.The only thing we were not happy with was when we checked all ok the lady told us there is a restaurant and bar so after a long journey we thought we would freshen up and some food in the restaurant ?it was closed and the bar ,it's a bank Holliday they told us so we said surely you don't close and they said yes?.by now wern't very happy we're in a hotel on a building site in the middle of no we're can't get on GPS cause it's a new road and nothing is open at Weekends??

Nous avons passé une très agréable nuit en famille avec notre enfant.
La chambre était spacieuse, confortable et parfaitement adaptée avec un enfant. Le jacuzzi a été un vrai plus et un excellent moment de détente pour les parents.

Le petit-déjeuner était excellent, varié et de très bonne qualité.
Mention spéciale au personnel, particulièrement attentif, bienveillant et disponible, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable.

Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésitation pour un séjour en famille.

Nous avons apprécié le calme et le confort des chambres.
13€ le parking nous sommes excessif mais cela reste une appréciation personnelle.
Pour le petit déjeuner, les fruits dans la panière n’étaient pas consommables… ils faisaient la tête …. !
Mais dans l’ensemble cet hôtel est très bien.

Séjour parfait entre détente et accueil chaleureux

J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel, où tout était parfaitement organisé.
L’accueil chaleureux du personnel a vraiment fait la différence dès mon arrivée.
J’ai particulièrement apprécié le spa, idéal pour se détendre après une journée bien remplie.
Le petit déjeuner était varié, copieux et de très bonne qualité.
Je recommande vivement cet établissement et je reviendrai avec plaisir.

Un excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à l’hôtel. L’accueil était excellent, le personnel très sympathique.
Le restaurant est vraiment top, avec des plats très bien présentés et délicieux, les saveurs sont parfaitement équilibrées!!

Prisvärt hotell i utkanten av stan

Prisvärt hotell, funktionella rum men vårt familjerum med utbäddad bäddsoffa blev vädigt trångt… otippat bra frukost.

Finns parkering i garage under hotellet som kostade ca 15 euro.

Rent och fint men lite tråkigt område.

Nous avons passé une nuit à l’hôtel avec mes petits-enfants et tout était absolument excellent. L’établissement est très propre, bien entretenu, et le personnel est extrêmement serviable et accueillant. Le petit-déjeuner était varié et délicieux, avec des produits frais. Tout a été pensé pour le confort des clients. Un grand merci pour ce moment agréable, je recommande vivement !
