Title: Misleading “All Inclusive” – Only Breakfast

I booked this hotel through Hotels.com as All Inclusive, which clearly stated that meals and drinks were included. However, when I arrived, I was informed that the booking only covered breakfast only. There were no inclusive drinks, no lunch or dinner, and no minibar access.

I contacted Hotels.com, and they confirmed that my booking should have included full meals and drinks. The issue has been escalated to their resolution team.

The hotel itself is clean and the staff were polite, but the description of the package was misleading and caused inconvenience and extra costs.

Posting this so other travelers are aware — double-check what’s included before booking.

Très agréable séjour

Our flight arrived quite late, and we were warmly welcomed by the person at the reception desk. The hotel staff is always very kind and smiling, which is a very positive point.
The bedding is very comfortable, and the room is pleasant.
The hotel is located in town on a rather busy street, so it can be noisy. Fortunately, once closed, the sliding glass door of the balcony insulates very well from the noise. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient.
On the downside, the soundproofing between rooms is really insufficient: on the first night, the neighbors were quite noisy, and it was possible to follow their conversation.
It should be noted that the staff does not speak French. So brush up on your Spanish... or English!
In conclusion: the hotel’s location is very convenient — plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, a bus stop almost right in front of the main entrance, and a beautiful beach about twenty minutes away on foot.

Location is pretty close to convenient bus routes but mostly the area is very walkable to the beach and other places in the general area.
Front desk staff were friendly.
My room was nice enough but not all the lights worked and some were turned on randomly. Balcony was nice, not the best view but its still nice to people watch and relax.
Room could have been cleaner. I kept finding these brown beetles on the walls and on the bed which freaked me out because I thought it was bedbugs and thankfully it wasn't. I also don't think my sheets were dry when they were put on the bed because when I felt a little damp and then the next night I didn't. The cooling wasn't each to navigate either so I felt a little sticky and muggy in my room. The safe didn't work so I had to be more careful about my personal items.
Breakfast was fine, nothing special.
Lots of clean fluffy towels, which was great, but there wasn't much light in the bathroom.
Didn't get to use the spa services even though I would have been interested, but I didn't know where to go to book any experiences but it's okay I just got to walk around and explore more.
Other than that, I would give it another try, the location was nice and it wasn't noisy.

The town is amazing, the hotel was very clean and all the staff very very nice.

On the night we checked in we had a great conversation with the receptionist who had lived in Birmingham for a while so had mastered English and the accent😂

Only minor criticism was the air handling unit in our room didn’t work (weather was manageable so didn’t cause an issue, and the shower temperature was very hot and cold!!)

Great stay, very central and lively area. The hotel itself is just what you need if you’re looking to spend your days out and about and just looking for a bed in Mallorca. Staff was pleasant and the rooms very cleaned daily. Breakfast choices were very basic but included something for everyone.

Worst place ever!

This place was one the worst places I have ever stayed in my entire life, it states that the hotel has a spa, which is very misleading, as in fact it doesn’t, also service in Spain, is absolutely volatile, from restaurants to hotels, it’s all the same everywhere you go, people are horrible, and so unhelpful, I will never be visiting ever again!

This is not the 4-star hotel for sure Max 3 stars Air conditioning didn't work well, too small bed, no option to book king bed ( they don't have ) , wifi ok but disconnected many times, old furniture in the room .Breakfast was excellent and the service was professional and helpful The cleaning lady was super extra nice. The Italian girl from reception was friendly and the other one, not and looked not happy.Not a bad location, many shops around and one perfect restaurant just in the corner, 5 minutes walk to the beach If you like a party don't go there You need to be there very quiet Anyway that hotel should not be rate as 4 stars and need to be renovated .

Great stay

I enjoyed my stay at Torre Azul and Spa. The food was great and the staff was very nice and helpful. Moreover, it is really close to the beach (about a 5-minute walk), which was amazing. One little thing that I would like to add is that my boyfriend and I love to roll under the covers with the AC on. Unfortunately, the bed covers at the hotel were a little too thin to our liking so... Maybe this could be improved.

Literally as advertised, it's adult only although it's predominantly a German hotel for spring break and stag do's with a few English chucked in. The staff are all helpful and do speak various languages which always helps as my Spanish is not so good although I try. The hotel is about 10mins walk to the beach albeit it down a steep hill that's ok until you try to wall back up it! There's a spar shop a few steps away from the hotel to grab essentials you've forgotten or food when you've got the munchies.

We stayed bed and breakfast so didn't really get to see what lunch or tea was going. The breakfast was plentiful and there was a lot of variety, tea and coffee was spot on, juice however was cheap and nasty tasting! They had continental breakfast and also a grill where they would would make omelettes and had full English too. They also had lactose free milk for allergies.

Bedrooms were very tired looking, but for how long we spent in them we weren't too bothered. The rooms came with a FREE fridge so we could keep cool water etc. It does come with a safe at a cost of €4 a day (cash only) it was clean and the shower was fab, very powerful! The beds were very hard, not a problem for me but the hubby likes a soft bed! Extra pillows in the wardrobe. The only downside to the rooms was that the \"air-conditioning\" was near non existent! Almost forgot ladies pack a hairdryer as that one is neither use nor ornament 😂

The food for breakfast was great. The lobby was very nice as were the staff. The room that we stayed in was fraught with major issues. The air conditioning was not working when we arrived and through our stay. The floor was dirty, furniture in various state of significant aging or cracked leather/pleather of chairs etc. an additional cost for safe was required with a key to turn it on, the safe did not work even after battery was changed. The space and furniture were not comfortable especially since it was suppose to be ideal for 3 people. Hotel policy was that they were not responsible for stolen items from room. We had to carry all valuables with us wherever we went with concern for potential mugging.The hotel sits in an area that is the haven for young adults to party not necessarily ideal for families or those who wish for quieter nights especially when terrace door needed to be open for air circulation. It was a disappointment to say the least. I would not recommend.

I would say that the 4* classification is a bit over-rated, closer to reality would be 2 1/2 - 3*. Some quick fixes in the rooms would definitely increase the overall image (replace old furniture, overall refreshing the rooms). Good location and if you don't find something better at this price - I would recommend it. No parking available even though I found parking close to the hotel every night (not sure if it will be the case during summer).

Hi just back from Torre Azul after three nights in the hotel. The hotel's public areas are superb a really high class finish. The breakfast was probably one of the best you could expect anywhere it was amazing. Facilities at the hotel included a spa which was available for a very small nominal charge, the spa was excellent with spa pool. Saunas steam room & showers. Interaction with staff was very satisfactory. So far so good however there was a couple of bad points from our point of view, firstly no parking is available at hotel so you rely on on street parking. And the biggest issue which spoilt what was a lovely hotel is the noise in the rooms. Sound proofing was lacking you can hear a pin drop in adjacent rooms. Rowdy drunk in next room made loads of noise from 3am -5 on second night. And a couple making noise on the third night. This did spoil our experience at what was otherwise a lovely hotel. Looking at trip advisor were not the first to comment on this. Would we recommend this hotel yes we would but just be aware of the issues we mention.

Had a short stay here and I really enjoyed it. The spa is a great price and a nice resting space. I would only note the room was a little dusty and as I stayed out of season I couldn't get dinner in the allocated evening times. However that being said I'd stay here again and the hotel staff are so friendly. All in all a great hotel and I highly recommend.

Very Nice Hotel SHAME ABOUT THE GERMANS

The hotel was very clean, lovely bedroom with a great sea view. Good varied menus daily with very good service from the staff at all times. There are two things to consider when booking this hotel. If you hire a car parking is such a pain there are cars everwhere and I mean everwhere, car parking under the hotel would have been such a huge bonus. The second thing to consider the guests who are mostly GERMANS, who are arrogant, LOUD Mouthed and unconsiderate. A German does not know how to speak but bark out all the time. Very loud/singing, music from their rooms mostly in the afternoons when most people tried to get their head down. The staff tried but needs to consider having these youths nearer the ground floor, not the top floor in order to know what is going on with them. To sum up lovely hotel, brilliant staff but be warned about the GERMANS. One thing I need to stress is don't believe most of the reviews which downs this hotel, go there like we did and you will be surprised how clean and well run the hotel is. My main concern was some of the guests.

The hotel is very nice and located near the widest part of the Arenal beach (plenty of space). Staff was very attentive and polite. However, sound insulation is essentially non-existent. Most of the nights we were woken up by loud guests arriving (usually drunk) at 3-5am. We could even hear conversations through the walls. Breakfast is also somewhat monotonous: scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, basic bread, fruit and cold cuts. Every ... single... day.

A dissapointing rip off hotel

First and foremost, hotel Torre Azul did not provide the use of its spa facilities without a surcharge, as this important aspect was not mentioned anywhere on hotels.com displaying page of this hotel, which can be easily counted as lack of transparency.
The wifi connection was the poorest I have ever seen, not being able to, at the very least, listening to music or effectively check my emails, so useless even for a basic service.
When it comes to the bathroom, although it was fairly equipped, the heavy smell of the towels impregnated with a perspiration like scent and the placement of the toilet way too close to its nearest wall found in front of it, made the experience regrettable.
The only good words of appreciation are dedicated to the reception and restaurant hotel's staff who presented impeccably.
As for the rest, this is my first worst experience and the second one for my brother and mother, who had a similar experience at hotel Azuline Bahamas, last November, located just a short walk from Torre Azul, in the same area of El Arenal.
So, overall, thank you hotels.com, for not being able to be transparent when it comes to what the chosen hotel was really offered in respect of the monies paid for.

The hotel is well run, rooms cleaned, sheets and towels changed regularly. Food always well presented, not a huge choice but plenty for the size of the hotel. Popular dishes would run out and were not replenished. Not always the most sensible of layouts i.e. spoons kept nowhere near the cereal area; queues for the toaster blocking access to the coffee machine. I have found this is a common problem in a lot of hotels however.
The reception staff were always very attentive.
The pool is small as are the surrounds, but OK if you don't like the walk to the beach. Unfortunately whilst we were there, extensive refurbishment of the adjoining hotel was being carried out and there was daily noise and dust. Which made sitting round the pool intolerable.
The local area is the main attraction for large stag groups. I would not recommend the area to anyone who doesn't want to have their sleep disturbed. There is a big drinking culture with buckets of booze being drank on the beaches. Also intrusive music being played. The beach vendors, selling melon, pineapple coconuts or soft drinks are con artists. We witnessed several arguments over people being charged extortionate sums. 40 euros for 2 coconuts for example.

clean nice hotel not far from the center

I had a room on the 11th floor with fantastic sea views. Overall a very good impression of the hotel. The little spa downstairs is a bonus, it is clean and pleasant to spend a couple hours a day. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk to the nightlife of Arenal or 10 euros by taxi. The WiFi is good, the breakfast has good selections. Overall a good value!

Nice hotel but boring and don't go all inclusive

Hotel ok, no entertainment, adults only but kids nursery right next to the pool so like being with all the kids. Food and staff good but just nothing to do as after dinner no one in the bar area, the all inclusive does not include a lot and very set times so advise going half board if you do decide to stay here.

The beach not far and excellent so most of time spent out of the hotel but terrible if it rains as really nothing to do

If you want a very quiet holiday on your own and be in bed for 10pm then this is the place for you.

Avoid this hotel

While the location is somewhat convenient to the Arenal yacht harbor which is where our event was located, this hotel is lacking in most of the important traits that provide for a comfortable stay. The beds are terrible and hard. The heat was on while we were there and there was no Air Conditioning working at the same time. The Wifi did not work except for in the lobby. The staff was unconcerned about any of my complaints and upon check in I was literally verbally harassed every time I passed the front desk by a staff person tell me that \"I had to pay for the room\". This was not true as I had already paid in full on hotels.com. I would avoid this hotel and will do so for the next 3 years that I return for this event.

Le pongo una estrella a la limpieza pero no por q esté sucio ni mucho menos,estaba limpia la habitación,lo que a las 8/9 de la mañana en las habitaciones de al lado pegando golpes, arrastrando las camas sin considerar q algunos simplemente vamos a descansar un poco,deberian de ser un poco más delicado a la hora de hacer ruidos a esa hora,hablo de ruido exagerado y la cena podrían ponerla hasta las 22:30,por lo demás estaba estupendo

Prêt d'une très belle plage.
L'autobus pour aller et revenir de Palma est à quelques pas de l'hôtel.
Variété de la nourriture offerte.
Par contre, mieux renseigner la clientèle sur les excursions possibles. Mettre des pamphlets dans un présentoire n'est pas suffisant.
Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées; on entend les voisins parler.

Fint men lydte værelser

Hotellet var egentlig fint og det samme var poolen. Der var ekstremt mange unge mennesker (18-20 årige) som larmede rigtig meget om natten. Et hotel mange unge vælger så de kan være på drukferier. Værelserne var ekstremt lydte og man kunne høre cirka alt. Hver nat vågnede vi af unge stive mennesker, enten af at de smækkede døre eller råbte.

Has potential if problems are fixed

The service at the hotel was very good! The lobby, food area/bar & pool area was clean & nice. Close proximity to the airport, beach & transportation. BUT, for a 4-star hotel I was very disappointed with the rooms. Let me first address the smell, it was obvious they have a problem with the drains because the first room almost smelt like something dead, we changed to another & the smell was better but still there. The beds were almost as if we were sleeping on the floor. The room was dusty in certain areas. I wanted to really like this hotel because of the positives. ain’t no way this is a 4-star hotel which is why I’ve rated it so low. We had a good stay either way since the room served its purpose but I booked a 4-star because that’s what I expected to get.

Valgte dette hotellet grunnet gode omtaler. Når vi kommer dit blir vi meget skuffet.
Hotellrommet var skittent, sengene var ekstremt dårlige. Under sengene var det meget skittent og så ikke ut som at der var vasket på meget lang tid. Frokosten hadde ok utvalg, ikke godt utvalg for gravide. Kunne vært bedre. Under oppholdet mistet hele hotellet vannet og når vi spurte om dette så var personellet lite serviceinnstilt. De hadde generelt lite service minded holdning.
Vi spurte om ekstra puter da putene var ekstremt dårlige. Dette var ikke godt tatt imot. Selv når man henger opp ikke forstyrr skilt så har personellet gått inn på rommet. Kommer ikke til å sove her igjen

Das Abendessen war eine Katastrophe.
Der Safe im Zimmer kaputt, das tägliche „Reinigen des Zimmers“ haben wir bei einmal belassen weil nicht mal das Bett vernünftig gemacht wurde, Sand auf der Anrichte nicht weggefegt, Gläser haben wir extra sichtbar hingestellt um ausgetauscht zu werden, auch das war scheinbar zu viel. Zimmernachbarn werden Teller und Becher aus dem Fenster.
Bin sehr enttäuscht. Nie wieder.

Veldig slitt hotell. Generelt ok standard, men bærer preg av at det er gammelt. Veldig lytt mellom rom/etasjer. Absolutt verdt prisen, men mye bråk rundt hotellet, spesielt fra barneskolen rett ved siden av.

Furchtbar!!! Kein 4 Sternhotel! Keine Ahnung wie die zu diesen Sternen gekommen sind.
Der Haarföhn vom Hotel hat gebrannt und der Notausgang/Treppen sind nicht passierbar gewesen, weil Betten den Weg versperrten. Und wir waren im achten Stockwerk.
Ebookers hat auch nicht geholfen, obwohl ich 15 Minuten von Spanien aus angerufen habe. Es wurde mir mitgeteilt dass jemand mich kontaktieren würde, was nicht passiert ist!
Ich werde das alles publik machen und mit ebookers persönlich nochmals Kontakt aufnehmen. Denn durch den Brand sind meine Sachen verbrannt oder durchs löschen unbenutzbar gemacht worden. Wer ersetzt mir das nun??????? Ich bin entsetzt und total enttäuscht! Zudem bin ich traumatisiert!!! Unglaubliche Katastrophe!! Das wird noch Konsequenzen geben!

Das Hotel erfüllt seinen Zweck und ist für einen Kurzurlaub geeignet. Der Pool ist klein und liegt zum größten Teil im Schatten. Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet und hellhörig. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, das Abendessen hingegen bietet weniger Auswahl und ist auch bei Öffnung des Restaurants nicht sonderlich warm.

Dålig bemötande natt receptionist

Överlag har varit utmärkt förrutom natt receptionist som är otrevligt och ej känsla för service, som kan nt hitta någon lösning om gesterna behöver hjälp med något. Resterande var helt bra.

L hotel si trova fuori la città di palma, ma è ben servito da autobus per andare ad esplorare la città senza i disagi del traffico. La spa è confortolevole e ci ha rilassato in una mattina piovosa, con prezzi onestissimi. La colazione ha uova fresche con lo chef pronto per cucinarle in mille modi. Scarsa la qualità dei succhj e degli affettati. La stanza era con vista stupenda sul mare e onesta qualità-prezzo. Il quartiere è multietnico ma comunque tranquilllo. meravigliosa accoglienza di Vincent e Lena.

Het zwembad was prima, genoeg ligbedjes. Het hotel is echter erg gehorig, we hebben de hele nacht wakker gelegen door onze feestende buren. Ook als er op een normale toon gepraat werd in een andere kamer was dit letterlijk te verstaan. De airco werkte ook niet goed en de staat van het hotel is flink verouderd.

En ce qui concerne le personnel et le service, rien à redire. En revanche la qualité des chambres ne correspond pas aux 4 étoiles. Nous dormons au rythme de nos voisins. Comme si ils étaient dans votre chambre ! On pouvait suivre les discussions. Les lits sont assez confortables mais pas de double lits. Pas de couette, seulement un drap et une couverture … pas confortable du tout. Chambre vieillotte mais le pire reste le bruit .. !

4 étoiles c’est un peu beaucoup, peut être 2 ! Le spa est sympa mais en supplément.

Propreté = ok !

Les boissons sont toutes en suppléments lors des repas ( même en demi pension) l’eau aussi !

Emplacement top ! Proche aéroport, Palma et plages.

No un hotel4⭐️Se perdieron cosas de la habitación!

Un Buen servicio.

lamentablemente habían cosas que no quedaban para un hotel de 4 estrellas, no había jabón, tuvimos que pedirlo 2 veces, la ducha estaba tapada, no había puerta en la ducha así que todo el piso se mojaba, una de las camas se movía y sonaba.
Para poder utilizar la “caja fuerte /safe” hay que pagar, para usar el spa hay que pagar.
Se escucha claramente la gente de las otras habitaciones y de la escuela de niños al lado. El grifo del lavabo se movía.
Pero eso si todo muy limpio.!

Se perdieron cosas de la habitación, entre esas una crema, un reloj y un anillo, me percaté de eso cuando ya había llegado a mi país de origen , así que no pude hacer el reclamo :(

Hay 3 personas que se desatacaron, el recepcionista un hombre de nombre Vicente súper amable y la señora del restaurante que asigna las mesas.! Que buen servicio!! Y la última, la chica que hacías los omelets/huevos, por Dios que mal servicio, se le notaba las pocas ganas de trabajar, no saludaba, no hablaba y miraba con odio a todos, Horrible empezar la mañana con una actitud así.
