I’d say that the price reflects quality in this case- it was cheap break so you can’t expect anything more than average or less.
What I have appreciated was the fact that room, bedding and toilet were really clean, although shower gel lasted just for one day.
Door and walls are rather very thin, so I’d recommend earplugs (you can hear your neighbours and cleaning staff in the early morning).
Breakfast and dinner were very monotonous and for me the worst thing was the fact that food which supposed to be hot or at least warm was cold (like eggs, pancakes, bacon…). If you didn’t get freshly prepared meat or fish, you definitely would ended up with cold dinner.
Lifts will give you a heart attack every time they stop, even in your head, you know it’s going to happen but still it will get you every time (noise and shake).
But I my opinion “the best” part was when a very loud fire alarm started to go off from 2am to 3:30am every half an hour! That was my last night there and I’ll never forget it! I didn’t look very rested when I’ve arrived home…
I’ve asked for compensation for this very unfortunate event but was told by a very nice manager that it isn’t his fault that people smoke in their rooms and it isn’t his fault that the alarm system works really well…
I was hoping that at at least I’d be allowed to stay longer in the room and have a snooze as my flight was in the evening, but unfortunately no…
I’m not coming back to Seramar Luna Park but Mallorca was great as always:)

Clean room, nice balcony, good breakfast and close to the beach that was nice. The room didn’t have a fridge which was a problem and there were also no drinking glasses at the room. It was not that soundproof so you could hear easily people go outside the door and so on. But overall a good hotel and we had a nice stay!

J’ai passé quelques jours dans cet hôtel et mon séjour a malheureusement été décevant. La chambre n’était pas propre dès mon arrivée et le ménage n’a jamais été fait correctement : le sol est resté sale tout au long du séjour. J’ai également eu la mauvaise surprise de trouver des fourmis dans la chambre, alors que j’étais au troisième étage, probablement à cause d’un trou près des toilettes relié à la pièce de service voisine. La climatisation fonctionnait mal, ce qui rendait la chambre trop chaude. Et pour finir, j’ai constaté un vol dans ma chambre, ce qui est inacceptable.

Je tiens toutefois à souligner que le personnel de l’accueil est très sympathique et accueillant, mais malheureusement, ces points positifs sont largement gâchés par le manque de sérieux du ménage et la mauvaise expérience vécue.

The only saving grace was a decent AC unit and TWO Kind/helpful staff members (a desk worker at the side building and what seemed like the restaurant manager). Every single front desk employee was rude and impatient, like they couldn’t stand to be there talking to people or solving very simple issues like letting you into the baggage storage room to grab belongings. Every single interaction at the front desk was dreadful, but I just smiled and asked direct questions so I could stop talking to those people as fast as possible. Even a simply calm and concise person/interaction would have been an immense improvement.

No WiFi. It only works in the main lobby, not the rooms. Apparently, according to a staff member, it’s only an issue for iPhones and he can’t use it either.

I understand it’s a cheaper hotel, but only relative to this island. At least get proper sized WEIGHTED shower curtains, it’s only an extra 2 Euro. The curtain will stick to you in the cramped shower, and you will get water everywhere on the bathroom floor. Even the extra drain wasn’t properly designed to drain the water on the floor.

Everything is just cheaper in the rooms, that was expected for the price and I’m not complaining about that. Other than my door handle nearly falling off. But the physical keys were a fun blast from the past.

Food was mediocre, that’s fine.. it’s a buffet.

Would have been 3 stars if the staffing knew what customer service was, given they’re in a customer service industry.

Iv based my review on value for money.
The hotel is clean and well maintained, the staff are very friendly and efficient. Rooms are basic but fit for purpose, the shower is poweful and the beds are comfortable, the air con is great but the wifi not so great.
The location is spot on just a short but pleasant walk down the hill to the beech and main strip where there is plenty to do socially. Plenty of markets to grab snacks and drinks and loads of food places near by. Thanks for a great mini break.

As it’s quite a party heavy area, it meant I was woken up quite a lot. The view was also not great from the balcony, but that’s more to do with the area.

Favorite place!

Second year in a row me and husband come here! We asked for a room with a corner balcony and got it :) The hotel is nice, clean and have a good location close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Breakfast buffet is very good with lots of options, just a bit crowded and you have to wait in line for some popular things, like the coffee.

The beds are comfortable and AC worked good enough to keep the room cool during the night. In the middle of the day it was still pretty . Toilet door is just a glass panel though so better be comfortable with the one you share the room with.

The best thing about this place for us is the vibe with lots of happy people as guests (mostly young Germans), and the nice pool area with two pools, lots of sunbeds and a bar with nice drinks and food. Went there every day and it's always buzzing! Thank you too Carlos and all the other nice staff at the pool for making our stay so fun and pleasant.

Brilliant weekend trip!

Me & my partner loved our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable & got cleaned daily. There were 2 pools, one was more of a party vibe with music & some entertainment, the other was more chilled! We chose half board so got breakfast & dinner buffet, the food in our opinion was not very nice although a good amount of choice, this is the only thing i can mark the hotel down by. Great location only a short walk to the beach/ town!

Terrible experience from the start , was put in a run down room with no working air conditioning that felt like you were about to pass out in it. Went to reception and staff were extremely unhelpful , spoke to Expedia over chat for around 2 hrs and still no resolution as they couldn’t get hold of the property, as it was then too late in the evening had to wait till the morning.

After the worst nights sleep and waking up feeling extremely unwell due to the temperature of the room went to reception, one of the people staying has a medical condition which was advised to the staff as the excessive heat and no air conditioning was causing them problems.

Finally it was agreed on a room swap but to do this was told that we would have to check out in the next 30 minutes (by 11am) then wait till 2pm for a room ! Another phone call made to Expedia as we were not happy about not having a room for hours of a day we had paid for and the hotel managed to get the room slightly earlier.

2nd hotel room looked slightly less run down and dirty but still not as expected from the photos online. It did have working air conditioning which made a massive difference to the first room.

This was my second stay here. The room is adequate and quite clean. Excellent shower, important to me. The food is excellent with a creative variety with many options for all appetites. The cafeteria workers are diligent and keep tables clean and available. Last time my bill was almost 2,000 Euros. With such a bill I do not like having to pay for my dinner drink. That is chincy.

We had half board, and the variety of foods at breakfast and evening meal,catered for everyones needs, we both enjoyed trying all the options available and wasn't disappointed. The staff were very polite.
The hotel was very quiet, being adults only is a good option.
A slight negativity, is people smoking on the balconys with the smell drifting into our room if we had the balcony door open. The walls are not sound proofed so you do hear some noise from the neighbours. A double bed rather than two singles beds would be better for couples but was acceptable. The pool facilities were very nice very good. The beach was a short walk away and very nice, if you like sangria and mojito or a massage then your onto a winner available all day long on the beach 😀.
The sea was very clear not too deep and good for a swim. Overall a very good holiday.

Basic tourist hotel in a very touristy part of Mallorca. Definitely catering for a German budget traveller. Certain areas of hotel need some deep cleaning, especially floors. Reception toilets had no locks and graffiti on door frames. Rooms are modern but quite basic. Again the floors quite dirty but otherwise clean. I would say this hotel is 2-3 stars.
A buffet restaurant that had a good variety of food if somewhat a bit of a canteen feel. The breakfast area was absolute bedlam and long queues for coffee, but quality of food fairly good overall.
If you get it for a good price and lower expectations then you might find this hotel not too bad.
Pool was nice but a bit rowdy. Pool bar women told me only drinks from pool bar can be drank in the pool area?! 3€ for a Pepsi that tasted flat.
Very popular with a mostly German crowd. That didn’t bother me personally.

I read other people's reviews, the negative ones are well off. This hotel was above what I hoped it would be for the price. Everything was clean, food was superb and staff extremely friendly.

I recommend paying the small extra for a poolside balcony, it was great to watch tennis with a beer during my down time and not overlooked by other hotels.

Booked in to stay just 1 night at this hotel because my flight landed in late. Check in was seamless and the staff were amazing! I didn’t catch her name but she had dark hair with blue tips at the end - she was very nice and bubbly even for 10:30pm at night. Stayed for less than 12 hours since check out was 10am the next morning, however I found the hotel good enough for the price. It’s a very cheap hotel you can’t expect 5 star facilities and quality. Bed was good & so was the bathroom. There is a bar and music area downstairs that does get quite loud but personally I was super tired so knocked out straight away and wasn’t annoyed with the music. Overall had a great experience! :)

À notre arrivé, quelle surprise que la climatisation dans la chambre ne fonctionne pas. Et ce durant nos 6 jours de présence.
De plus, nous avons vu des cheveux sur les oreillers, les draps et dans la salle d eau à peine arrivé dans la chambre le premier jour.
Le petit déjeuner a été exactement le même pendant le séjour. Aucune variété.
Horaire petit déjeuner 8h à 10h. De ce fait peu importe l horaire à laquelle nous y allions, il fallait faire la queue pour du jus ou simplement un verre d eau.
Hôtel très décevant quand au prix que nous avons mis pour le séjour.
Nous avons remarqué une fréquentation importante de touristes du nord qui ne savent pas se tenir. En sortant des ascenseurs vous tombez sur des personnes qui dorment sur les canapés dans le hall.
Le plus scandaleux, aucun parking. Vous perdez 30mn pour trouver une place . C est infernal.
Les commerçants aux alentours sont très cher. Une simple bouteille d eau peu atteindre plus d 1,50 euro.
Hôtel à déconseiller.

Zimmer mit Balkon zu einem Lüftungsschacht- kaum Tageslicht.Klimaanlage auf dem Dach macht einen Höllenlärm- der allerdings von lärmenden Sauftouristen oft übertönt wird. Massenabfertigung an der Rezeption, Personal unfreundlich und wenig hilfsbereit.
Badezimmertür lässt sich nicht schliessen,
Dusche läuft nicht ab und flutet das gesamte Bad. Dementsprechend stinkt es nach Schimmel und Fäule. In den Gängen stinkt es nach rauch- scheint niemanden zu stören das in den Zimmern geraucht wird.
Das Frühstück war nicht zu geniessen.

2. Why was no notice taken of my request for a room with some sunshine?
3 Why was no attempt made to compensate me for lost dinner ( Day 1) or for lost breakfast (Day 7).
4 Why, when the hotel is advised as “ adult only”, were there juveniles running round the hotel corridors at 11 pm at night. I got knocked up from my bed at 10 50 because a juvenile’s towel had landed on my balcony.

Great value Spanish resort hotel

Typical Spanish resort hotel which was fine for our 2 night stay and very good value for money. The hotel appears to cater for mainly older guests and had a full programme of activities at least six days each week. Rooms were basic, but more than adequate and the power shower in the bathroom was superb. The breakfast room tended to be busy, but we always managed to find a table. Breakfast was okay, with a range of cereal, cheese & cold meats, different breads and a range of hot items. The hotel is located towards one end of the resort, maybe a 10 minute walk from the beach. Two pools looked great, with plenty of sun loungers available, but it was too cold to swim on the days of our visit. Overall, the hotel was great value and all our group would happily use again on a future visit.

The room was not what we had booked. It was small and had two single beds. The door to the balcony did not lock correctly. At first we were very disappointed, the hotel looks like in needs doing up. However the staff were fantastic and food was good. They have entrainment on each night. We didn't spend much time at the hotel so despite the room we had a good stay.

Shares with sister hotel,hotel Luna and both function well. All staff are hardworking,friendly ,helpful. Rooms are basic but functional, with lots of hot water on tap. You have a choice of dining in either hotels or using their facilities.
Arenal is a nice resort which is 15 minutes by Taxi from the Airport. The entire resort is 95% German. Every bar, shop, hotel, and resteraunt cater's for the German tourist. There are also Belgium, and French who regularly frequent the resort. Don't be surprised if you don't hear a British voice for the duration of your stay.

Basic Accommodation

No room for us first night . Put in a local hotel . Not a nice one ..First full day wasted waiting ,then moving into , available room . Not good on a one week trip . No extra pillows . Telephone wires had been torn out before our occupation . Were still out when we left .No shampoo or soap replacement after first minimal issue .

Staff were friendly and helpful . Food was very good ,mixed and plentiful . Drinks were good and well served ,particularly fast for an A.I hotel .

Shocking

Awful experience from start to finish. Not suitable for English, reception staff can barely speak it and aren't willing to help with any queries. Room very basic and food just edible. Pool too shady, I nly being in the sun for a few hours in the day. Too far away from any towns (magaluf being 45 minutes away costing €100 there and back) but beach near is lucky. Only sacing grace.

Not for families

The walls are paper thin...so a good nights sleep is out of the question. A lot of 'young uns' stay here & come & go all through the night so this hotel is definately not for families. Rooms are ok & kept cleanish...& staff are reasonably helpful.

La música se escucha siempre muy fuerte. Los ascensores son bastante antiguos y están mal conservados. Además nuestro baño tenía un olor intenso que no se iba.

Igualmente la habitación estaba en buenas condiciones y era bonita. Las piscinas son grandes y siempre había tumbonas vacías donde ponerte, la comida q se sirve en el bar de la piscina está rica igual q las bebidas. Además la atención en recepción es adecuada.

Clean and nice room, cleaned every day. Air-conditioning worked very well. Nice pool area. Great location, easy access to beaches, a short walk from the hotel. Bus stop near the hotel, where you can take busses to Palma city, the shopping center and the airport. Mostly a quiet area, with not too much partying.

Hotellet fint på många vis men:
- inga säng-läslampor
- inget bord på balkongen
- ingen vattenkokare eller kylskåp på rummet

För få kaffemaskiner i frukosten, blev långa köer.
Borde finnas kran för varmt vatten separat för tevatten så man inte behöver stå i långa kaffekön för vatten.
Dåligt med grönsaker (t.ex. paprika, gurka)

I övrigt trevlig personal, bra städning på rummet

Insgesamt kommt es darauf an was man sucht. Für einen entspannten Pärchenurlaub ist das Hotel nichts. Auch tun mir die ganzen älteren Leute die man dort gesehen hat etwas leid :D Für einen Partyurlaub oder einfach nur ein paar Tage Urlaub absolut ausreichend.

Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, es wird täglich sauber gemacht. Die Dusche ist hat nicht ganz abgeschlossen somit kam immer Wasser raus. Kein Problem man legt einfach ein Handtuch davor. Gibt ja genug. Klimaanlage funktioniert.
Einziger Kritikpunkt am Hotel bzw. der Einrichtung: Die Wände sind sehr dünn. Man hört jede Klospülung und jeden der nachts oder morgens durch den Flur läuft. An sich waren die Gäste aber größtenteils nicht absichtlich laut. Man hörts halt trotzdem. Habe was das angeht schon schlimmeres in anderen Hotels erlebt. Personal waren alle sehr freundlich. Es gibt 2 Pools, beide gepflegt. Getränke an der Poolbar etwas teuer (Cola 3€). Dafür gibts nebenan im Sparmarkt ne große Flasche.
Ansonsten insgesamt gutes Hotel.

Die Lage ist jedoch etwas abseits. Wer nicht gerne läuft schaut lieber etwas zentraler. Auch muss man auf dem Heimweg immer einen schönen Berg hoch. Wem das nichts ausmacht und gerne noch ein paar Schritte sammelt ist hier gut aufgehoben. Wenn man täglich 2x an die Playa geht ist man bei über 20k Schritten. Wenn man so noch ein bisschen rumläuft auch bei 30k+
Dafür ist der Preis hier recht günstig.
Wer sich Abends komplett abschießt sollte so oder so besser mit dem Taxi heim.

Das Hotel war rundum ganz gut. Die Zimmer sind auch recht groß, kenne sonst nur ganz kleine Zimmer. Jeden Tag wurde unser Zimmer gereinigt. Die Reinigung könnte gründlicher sein. Das Frühstück war vollkommen ausreichend, es gab alles was man braucht. Durch die Lage des Hotels ist es nachts extrem laut. Im allgemeinen können wir es aber empfehlen.
