We asked to have our room cleaned three different times and even spoke to multiple staff members, but nothing was ever done. That’s really frustrating.

We’ve been sleeping on the same sheets for multiple nights and using the same old towels, which is honestly not acceptable—especially for the price we’re paying. Basic housekeeping shouldn’t be this hard to get.

Also, if you’re planning to get any work done during your stay, don’t count on the internet—it’s been terrible.

Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, and it definitely makes us think twice about staying here again

They sent us to a dirty room at check in. Dirty towels and stuff everywhere, we thought someone was still staying in the room. The lady at the front desk was wonderful and it wasn’t her fault, we did have to wait a few hours for another room. The lady at concierge was rude. I asked her (politely) if I could have a map of the grounds due to the room. She said, choice members don’t get a map and just today she will help me out because she’s a great person. She then preceded to tell me how wealthy her and her family are and told me about some shops but “only if I can afford it”. My daughter and I went to The Social (the hotel restaurant) to wait some more. It was open but the bartender was so annoyed we were there. We had been so excited to stay at this hotel because it was my daughter 16th birthday. The front desk, valet, and one sweet guy on staff made it worth it. Steer clear from the concierge, you just aren’t as rich as her and she will treat you as such.

From the beginning the experience was awful. They indicated that there was no onsite parking except for Valet, when we clearly saw numerous spots open around the hotel. $39 / day in a remote part of San Antonio is ridiculous. Also they immediately attempted to get us signed up for a time share presentation, which was a complete surprise. The only \"resort\" hotel I have ever stayed where the pool area is unattended, unlit at night, and has no towels available. You have to go to the front desk or bring your own. The property looks aged and it is not more than a 3 star. Expedia should not advertise this is a luxury resort. I guess you get what you pay for.

The staff were very courteous. The room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. There were black hairs in the bathtub and the surface area of the desk/coffeemaker area wasmarked with cup rings and residue that had obviously not been wiped/cleaned off. The Keurig coffee maker was so dusty we didn't make coffee in our room.

My room was not ready until 5:55 as sheets had to be washed. While offered the spa to get dressed i was late to the wedding that i drove 3 hours to attend and missed seeing the bride walk down the aisle. I saw many others get their room before ours. They informed they had til 8pm to give us our room. 4pm is already a late check in compared to the std. 3pm and I hope the hotel review updated processes. We did enjoy the spa the next day which was great but for a resort spa cleaning proseeses to have rooms ready for check-in need updating. We asked can we atleast use room snd they csn come in do the beds after we left for the wedding. Informed no one is allowed to enter after someone chevs in which even cruise ships and hotels enter to change sheets during stays. So saying no one can enter I felt was not within std hotels. I missed the most important part of the wedding ceremony of a friend i can never get back.

This is a very nice property. The only things I didn’t care for were the expensive/mandatory valet charge of $39 a night and the fact that you don’t get housekeeping during your stay. At a hotel like this I would expect nightly turndown service as well as a freshening of the room each day. It would be nice if they replenished towels and made the bed and took out the trash to make the room feel fresh again. Instead, you walk into however you left it! I did call downstairs to find out if no housekeeping was normal and was told that it was, but they could replenish towels, water, take out the garbage on request. I told them we needed fresh bath towels and water and they arrived at our door shortly after I requested them. So, not a huge deal, but it’s just surprising at a hotel of this caliber to not be extra “service-y”. Staff is friendly and there are plenty of dining options on the premises which was convenient. We didn’t use the pool, but it did look beautiful and spacious.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with stunning decor and a lovely atmosphere. However, our overall experience was marred by a lack of customer service.
During our stay, we asked one of the front desk staff members to take a photo of us, but she barely acknowledged us—she simply took the phone, snapped the picture, and returned it without any engagement. We expressed our gratitude, but she simply nodded in response.
We also rented a cabana, but unfortunately, we were never approached by staff to take our drink orders. Instead, we had to go up to the front ourselves to get our own drinks, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, we were not informed at check-in that we would need to give a 24-hour notice for room service, which would have been helpful to know.
Overall, the experience with customer service left much to be desired. It's a shame because the hotel itself is lovely and has great potential.

Stay was nice, however a few issues. Coffee maker did not work. After two attempts to get it replaced took it to the concierge and told them to get it replaced, which they did. Body wash dispenser in the room was empty. That had to be replaced. No house-keeping for 3 days.. This is a holdover from Covid. Hotels feel they do not have to make up rooms which saves them money. Parking is valet mandatory at $40.00 a night, and resort fee mandatory at $25.00 a night.

Very beautiful views, in the city but far enough out to avoid traffic. Loved that you have main highways close by and there is a shopping center about 5 minutes away, even less. Enjoyed our stay with 2 kids, they only do valet but they are professional and offer a fast service.

Good afternoon,

I reserved a Jr Suite Kit bed and was informed they ran out of rooms and swapped us to a double bed room. The room appeared to have not vacuumed and the room smelled bad. It appears, the fridge was not working and food was not cleaned out by housekeeping and left it in the fridge. We were given a $25 credit at the cafe; however only 2 workers and super slow service with a long line. More help is needed. We end up getting out of line to order a coffee due to the wait and needing to go to chemo treatment.

It’s a nice hotel, but more can be done for the guest for the inconveniences.

My 13 old year son and I had a wonderful stay for a visit to Six Flags Fiesta from the Dallas area. Hotel location was very convenient and the property is beautiful. Lots of amenities (indoor/outdoor pools, hot tubs, pickle ball, basketball), not too crowded, and friendly staff. Several walkable restaurants and a short drive to many more dining/entertainment options. We really had no complaints. That being said, this is not a luxury hotel experience. If you are looking for upscale service, this is not it. We brought our own food and drinks for the room and prefer to keep to ourselves so this was perfectly fine for us. The valet was fast and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing experience

First off, This hotel listing should be updated as some of the services listed on this site are no longer offered.
I chose this hotel for the closeness to my point of interest.
The hotel doesn't offer an area shuttle service (as listed on the property page) The hotel is secluded and require transportation. The hotel has a conveniant store that closes at 8Pm, a restaurant that close at 9pm. No room service. If you're hungry past 9Pm, uber eats is your only choice. i tried 3 of the 4 restaurant on the domain, located on the backside of the hotel, they all close at 9pm and were all pretty bad quality, Uniko, Al Taco were horrible, food & service. The italian place was much better.

The lobby looks luxurious but that where the \"Luxury\" ends.The rooms (based on mine) can you some retouch& better pillows. No room service, no way to get a snack past 9pm.
After my first night, I requested for my room to be refreshed, i was told by the front desk that this is a time share hotel and housekeeping are not allowed in the rooms, they could however drop off fresh towels if needed.

Using any ride app was aslo a challenge as they all took from 10 to 15 min to pick up and the rides cost over $10 for a 1.5 mile trip.

This might be perfecrt for retires looking to use all the sports activities this \"hotel\" offers.

Very disappointing experience — won’t return.
The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. They didn’t bother explaining anything about the property or activities, just handed over a folder with information. The checkout process was especially bad — they knocked on the door, called the room, and hung up, all to rush me out. They even charged $40 for a 40-minute late checkout, which was ridiculous. Also, be aware: the restaurants around the property close at 9 PM, so if you want a nice dinner, you’ll have to drive into the city. Overall, it felt rushed, unwelcoming, and not worth it.

Looks fancy...might be...but sounds like someone is coming in to rape or kill you in your room when you stay here. room is super 8 quality clean...not a place i would take a kid for sure no little convenience place to buy snacks etc...and unless you wanna tip the valet everytime you leave they only have valet parking. staff is clearly not happy to be there. This is like flying american when you can fly Southwest...staff clearly gets treated like crap by management, owners so it just trickles down...dont waste your time or money. Stay at Super 8 I promise you will be happier and save money!
