Asegúrense de saber que tan lejos está la habitación de los lugares a donde ir, nos tocó una habitación a 5 minutos caminando desde el ascensor si hubiera estado sola creo que no me hubiera importado peor tenía un bebé y cuidarlo requiere atención rápida, regresar a la habitación era un problema muy grande, pedí ayuda y pague una mejor habitación pero no me ayudaron y quisieron obligarme a firmar una aceptación de no reembolso cuando ya estuve más de la mitad de estadía ahí, muchas otras cosas estuvieron muy bien y bueno otras que no importaron tanto pero mi experiencia no fue buena y pasar pidiendo ayuda durante toda la estancia no permitió disfrutar las vacaciones, les recomiendo el hotel bijao que me han dicho que es mejor en el lugar.

Bonito destino para conocer la cultura local, pero la experiencia del resort no cumplió mis expectativas. La variedad del buffet fue limitada y muy repetitiva durante la estadía. El servicio fue adecuado, aunque la hospitalidad no destacó. Recomiendo investigar bien y comparar con otros destinos como Punta Cana o Jamaica si buscas una experiencia de resort más completa.

Overall experience was nice but their term of “international night” for dinner wasn’t a wide variety of international food(could be better) but room was really nice with a great view(soundproof rooms so you don’t get disturbed by outside noise), pools were nice and staff was really friendly.

My experience at this resort wasn’t all terrible and I was able to enjoy it overall but there are some significant areas for improvememt
1. Lack of cleanliness and poor maintenance of room amenities: Mildewed curtains, dirty bedskirts. Towels also smelled weird. The safe was broken. The balcony area smelled like cat urine and the adult pool area had an occasional smell of sewage.
2. I found myself having to go to the front desk to request services that were supposed to be regularly maintained such as clean towels and minibar restock (upon arrival to the room the minibar was not fully stocked).
3. Our reservation was all inclusive yet when we attempted to grab dinner at one of the included restaurants we were told that it was “full for the night” although we could clearly see empty tables inside AND we saw the employee admitting persons inside after we left and went to another restaurant. Not sure why exactly my friend and I were refused entry.
4. At check in, the wrong room was assigned, and although this was corrected it was a bummer to have to wait for a room after the 2hr drive from the airport and wasn’t the best first impression of the resort. Checkout was also a mess with long lines in a hot humid lobby and slow moving desk personnel.

This was my first visit to Panama and it’s a gorgeous country I will definitely be returning to but I don’t think I would choose to stay at this hotel again unfortunately.

I thought this was a very nice all-inlcusive. It appeared to be the only one in the area with direct beach frontage. There were four pools, one for kids and one with a swim up bar. There were a large amount of lawn chairs on the huge beach which was not crowded at all - though my friend told me, in the winter months, the property will become very crowded with foreigners. The food selection was very nice - Asian, Italian, steakhouse, Mexican and buffet. The shows at night were fun, including live bands, dancers, and karaoke. The stuff were very pleasant and very helpful. I would stay here again. There was a very small location for beach vendors who remained at their stall. Men renting horses, but they were not pushy. Don't bother taking the boat ride to the island. It's expensive and you can swim a little, but that's about it. I would highly recommend the Riu Playa Blanca!

Good service, good food, nice rooms. The only bad experience was with the snacks in the afternoon. The Chiriquí restaurant was always full of birds, they were in a lot of tables, very unsanitary.

We were expecting more of a 4 stars hotel. The room smelled recently cleaned when we got in but the floor had shades of a not so proper cleaning. Also. They didn't come to clean the room next day, there was not question if we wanted or not. And the day we ask for it. They came so late that we needed to refuse because it was nap time for the baby.
The service in general was good. They were very accommodating with the food for the baby in the restaurant.
The design of the bathroom in the rooms is odd. The towel hanger was inside the bathtub space behind the glass. And the towels were old and light brown (awful color). The pool towels were softer.

The staff was terrible, according to their rules, double reservations is not allowed by the same person, which is something stupid if you want to make reserve a separate room for your kids. I have been traveling for over 20 years and I have never had this issue before at any hotel except this one. It was a total waste of time during check in.

Belle plage, bon service, excellent hotel en generale à excepción du système de reservation des restos à la carte qui est ridicule. Première nuit, à 8h avec le resto vide, impossible de rentrer car selon la personne qui assignait les places, il fallait venir plus tôt. Deuxième nuit, en file à 6:30, comme il n’était pas plein, elle ne pouvait pas nous inscrire pour la liste d’attente et souper plus tard. Une fois qu’on a trouvé une place, on nous a servi un verre d’eau à notre arrivée et il a fallu demander le 2e avec le dessert car personne s’est approché de notre table. Le personnel dans le buffet est milles fois plus gentil et serviable. Ça n’est vaut pas la peine.

This Riu property was great! Plenty of space on the beach and at pools where you don’t have to get up early to reserve space. All of the restaurants had really good food. My only disappointment was coming from the I wish there were more meat choices like bacon or sausage(turkey or beef). Housekeeping was awesome and really fast. Check in was prompt because I checked in online ahead of time. Check out was fast as well.

El personal y staff muy amables y acomedidos. La comida estuvo buena, las bebidas muy bien. El aire acondicionado deberían permitir poder bajar más la temperatura. Solo podía dejarse a 22°c. La limpieza de habitaciones debe mejorar incluso hay un día que no nos realizaron limpieza en una de las habitaciones y deben fumigar para las plagas pues en dos ocasiones vi bichos en el baño.
Y algo importante para los que compran sus paquetes por Expedia es mejorar sus comunicaciones entre el Hotel y Expedia pues tuvimos un mal momento a nuestra llegada empezando desde el transfer [Nexus Tours] en el cual no nos dieron el servicio privado por el que pagamos y siguiendo con el check in demorado por falta de información y detalle en el sistema del hotel q aunque mostré todas las pruebas que se ameritaban, y contacté a Expedia tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo en el traslado porque no nos enviaron un vehículo grande y privado por lo que dividieron mi familia y nos dieron servicio compartido, además en el registro de llegada porque no tuvieron en su sistema del hotel todo como q necesitaban en cuestión de nombres no nos daban paso a ingresar. El hotel debió buscar llamar directamente a Expedia y validar todo pero fue más facil indicar que fueramos nosotros quienes debíamos hacerlo, cuando la falla estaba en su comunicacion, fue muy desgastante y cansado tener q pasar por todo aquello sobretodo viajando con adultos mayores que estaban ya fastidiados por la situación.

Te explicar como funciona o resort, esquece, te dão a chave, e fala, as instruções é só você ler este QRcode! Check-out. Mesmo problema do check-in, se voce esta esperando um muito obrigado por terem vindo, boa viagem de retorno, ou foi um prazer tê-los atendidos, etc, esquece!

RAZOÁVEL: Acomodação. Quarto padrão de hotel 3 estrelas.

BOM: A estrutura do Resort e praia. Devido o Resort ser pequeno, sempre tem bastante gente. Então se você gosta de sossego, relaxar na piscina sem barulho, esquece isso, pois as três piscinas são praticamente juntas, e sempre tem muita gente.

OTIMO:
ALIMENTAÇÃO, sendo perceptível o asseio, e também o paladar de uma comida bem feita e saborosa. Os alimentos não possuem aquele gosto tipico da maioria dos resorts que é de comida industrializada, sem gosto.
FUNCIONÁRIOS todas as áreas (menos recepção), tipo restaurantes, piscinas, camareiras, atores show: Educados, prestativos, onde é perceptível que estão empenhados em dar ao hóspede no mínimo um bom atendimento.
LIMPEZA: É perceptível o asseio, o cuidado com a limpeza do Resort no todo.

It was my third time at this Riu and I always recommend it to everyone. I traveled with my 3 small kids and they loved the Infinity pool. I used RiuLand as much as I could. The kids loved spending time in the childcare. Lucas and Alvin were great bartenders at Limon Bar. I also recommend getting a spanish coffee and going to see the sunrise

Best value for your buck! Had no issues, enjoyed the place—great evening entertainment, which we appreciated. The beach is nice, and we never struggled to find seats by the pool or on the beach, as some previous reviews mentioned. The food was great; however, I didn't find the special restaurants worth the hassle of getting in. All in all, I recommend it for the nice weather, the great beach, and the nice staff.

The staff can also do a better job of responding to room requests. We had to do some back-and-forth on replacement items.

The property is clean, the beach is beautiful, pools are nice and food was good. Had an oceanfront view which was perfect. The things that lacked for us was fridge refills every two days, if you called in between then never return unless you call. Room cleaning was mediocre if they showed up each day, never left extra toilet paper so if you run out you have to call for more. gym is small and only one treadmill and elliptical working but does the trick with weights and cable stack machines but is also quite warm and no windows shades to keep sun out. They still using towel cards and run out of towels occasionally. There is also no room service which doesn’t matter to us, always food available. Buffet is a seat yourself but the drink service was quick and the staff are always on the move and great to deal with. Sports and is 24 hours with snacks, drinks and the best coffee on the property. Checkout was odd for us, had to wait for them to check the room before we could check out. Didn’t take long (10 minutes at most) but still not something we have dealt with elsewhere. This is a 4star for us and we did have a great vacation overall.

Las instalaciones del hotel muy buenas (aunque pueden mejorar algún detalle como disponer acondicionador y shampoo en lugar de jabón/shampoo/acondicionador, 3 en 1...), impecable la limpieza. La comida bien en general, si bien en especial los restaurantes de especialidad pueden mejorar (nos pareció mejor la comida en el restaurante general). El gran punto a mejorar es el servicio del personal, virtualmente no existe, se ven sobrepasados y la verdad no atienden, creemos les falta algo de entrenamiento y sobre todo pueden ser pocos para la cantidad de personas a atender en los servicios en especial

I booked 2 rooms. At registration I told the person that our friends (room 2) would be late because their flight from Canada was delayed for 2 days. Our room and service were perfect. It was very good for what it is. Air con was very effective, staff was welcoming and friendly, food was plentiful, bar lineups were short, facilities were clean, and four pools to suit various age groups.
The food was buffet quality except for the specialty restaurants, so foodies may find it a bit lacking in quality, and sometimes cold and stale. Also somewhat crowded and loud, if that's not what you're into. Perfect for families and younger partiers, or older folks who don't care about those factors.

The property was great, food options were plentiful, but the staff made it memorable! From Maricruz bringing such joy to every meal we were lucky enough to see her, to Alex and Yunier behind the bar making tasty drinks quickly, to Abdiel ensuring the pool was safe and enjoyable, to Eleuterio helping us find a lost personal item and being so nice!

For anyone traveling without children, the pool with the swim up bar is adults only and consistently enforced - we only really saw kiddos at meals.

Overall would recommend!

We’d give it minus 10 if we could. A loud, noisy party want to be hotel that blared music day and night. Read not relaxing for a restful vacation. We were booked for 6 nights and left after one night. Relocating was a wonderful decision.
The food was cold and lousy, the delux room spartan, cold and from the 70s and the minibar had 4 soft drinks and two beers. One of which was taken after maintenance fixed the bathroom lights. Speaking of the alcohol, it was water down swill. This lousy hotel has a leadership problem as it is directly opposite other RIU properties we stayed at.

We had an awesome time at this RIU. The grounds were amazingly well kept, the food was mostly delicious, the beach was great. Near the end of our vacation, we were looking for things to complain about. And when you have to think that hard about it, l would say that you’ve had a wonderful time. I think housekeeping was one area that they could work on. We placed the…no service sign on our door. They still came in our room and removed all of the towels without replacing them. In room coffee packets weren’t replenished. So, the big question … would we return ? Most definitely YES. We’ll probably be back next year and bring our kids.

The staff was very rude to African Americans. They cleaned but not properly. The hotel is very secluded and 2 hours away from the fun stuff. I had no hot water in my room. The food gave me diarrhea. The WiFi was not working good so I couldn’t do homework. The store was very limited with snacks and souvenirs. The only this that saved them was the specialty restaurant.

The beaches at the property were dirty with trash along the beach. Not once did I see anyone from the property cleaning up the trash on the beach. Also, the property allows people who harass you for horseback rides. The food was average at best. The alcohol is bottom shelf, and the drinks are not very well made. The property advertised water sports like snorkeling. However, the only snorkeling is an excursion that included a 3-hour ride and a 3 hour back. I would not recommend this property.

No pool service let down

The hotel was nice and all but not what i was expecting for all inclusive resort. No pool service, no waiters pool side for drink or food orders. The pool closing time of 6:30pm was the earliest I've ever come across. Just not a place i would stay in the future.

The property was nice and clean. The rooms need some upgrades. The sheets were old. There were barely any Pillows. Pillows were flat. They only provided 3 pillows for 2 people. Bathrooms were old. Towels were old.
The staff were nice, polite, respectful. Always willing to help. Entertainment needs some help. They lack Entertainment for the night.

Al ser all inclusive la verdad que no hay opciones de snack en el cuarto o que el único lugar abierto 24 hs solo ofrezca alcohol o nachos es inaceptable . Cero recomendable para ir en familia

I’m a healthcare worker and was shocked by the unsafe conditions. All 3 rooms we booked had mold-infested mattresses. My child got sick, and one of our guests is a lung cancer survivor — this was extremely dangerous. Staff showed no concern, gave me the wrong email for complaints, and I was never able to speak to a manager. I had to move rooms at midnight and still no help. If you have asthma, cancer, or a weak immune system, avoid this hotel.
