I really enjoyed this property. Checking in was a nightmare though because their front desk is buried in a few buildings. It was impossible to find, and they are very limited in their operating hours. Once I found it though, and found my key, the rest of the property was pleasant.

Great local bus services, and breakfast.

Good stay in general, but had to buy washing up liquid, soap.
The beds were comfortable, but there is an extra cost for aircon, sunbeds, umbrellas for the pool and wifi.
Breakfast was excellent.
Perfectly located if you dont want to be in crowded places, also a best point for us was the local buses system, we didnt see the need of a car, as the local buses are so efficient and cheap to visit the other beaches and towns.
Bus stop is 2 min walk from the apart/hotel.

We've just returned from the most relaxing and enjoyable week at Apartamentos Curasol.
Curasol is in the perfect location, quiet with beautiful views of the bay and the Spar supermarket and plenty of restaurants and bars just a 2 minute walk away.
We were a group of 4 adults with 3 apartments booked.
All staff were excellent. Friendly and so helpful in making sure our 3 apartments were next to each other ahead of our arrival. The apartments were clean with comfy beds and kitchens stocked with everything you need for easy self-catering. All 3 terraces had sea views and lots of space.
The pool area was the best! Amazing views, plenty of sun loungers and even a VIP area if you book a premium apartment.
One of our group celebrated a birthday during our stay and had a bottle of bubbly delivered to their door - a little gift from Curasol.
We loved our stay and would recommend these apartments to any of our friends and family!

The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The place is so beautiful and peaceful that I barely left the whole time I was there. Highly recommend if you like a quiet vacation with really chilled out vibes

You get a lot for the money

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. We had a one-bedroom apartment with the balcony with the sea view. It was very clean and we haven't missed anything there. The pool and jacuzzi are amazing however could be used within limited hours (until 5 p.m.). Unfortunately no umbrellas. Same on the terraces/balconies. For us the main drawback was lack of free wi-fi in the apartments and soft and worn down bed mattresses. One of our neighbours smoked on his terrace. The whole complex should be smoke-free.
Apart from this, be aware that although Playa Cura is a little crowded place with a few bigger hotels you need to accept regular evening music either from the bar with live music or from the Ocean Beach Club or both at the same time. However, there is nothing Curasol can do about it.

Spacious accommodation, spectacular views

The apartment was large with separate lounge and bedroom. the apartment was stated and booked as twin bedded but it was actually two single mattresses in one double box bed base. The details on site said that the restaurant did evening a la carte but it was closed from May until October so the only food available was breakfast and poolside snacks. In the area, at the bottom of the hill there are a few eateries, a Spar shop and bus stops to other parts of the island.

I cannot praise the staff highly enough. Without exception they were friendly and helpful, the guy covering reception, when we were having difficulties with transfer details, went above and beyond what we might have expected.

The pool and jacuzzi were clean and well kept. I would happily stay again.

Quiet location with sea views

Good sized property with 2 double bedrooms, 2 shower rooms & spacious lounge, kitchen, diner. The balcony over looks the sea and surrounding area. At the time we went, in June, it was very quiet which we wanted. Be aware however that Expedia advertised the complex as adults only....not so. It is recommended for audits. A rather anoying 5/6 year old boy was at the pool/bar area for 8 of our 10 day stay. The bus service to surrounding areas is great with reasonably priced fares. I must say it was great to come back from busy towns. The property is in easy walking distance to local shops, bars, restaurants and beach. If you like hills, it’s great.

Nice hotel great staff close to beach

This hotel is a great place to stay, we had a car so it was nice and quiet and close to jump in car and goto popular beaches.
Dianna was there to meet us when we arrived and was very helpful she sorted out all the paper work with us and give us all the infomaton we needed.
the pool and jacuzzi were great people very friendly and staff very helpfull i would recomend this hotel which was cheapest aound and great for a couple who want a quiet relaxing holiday.

Good place to stay

Pool and bar area great. Rooms clean and tidy and all with quality views and sun. Didn't try the restaurant, but it looked good.
Staff really good and on the ball.

Kept us up constantly to date about the international Triathlon that was taking place and disrupting traffic on our leaving day. Dealt very well with the idiots who were blaming the staff for the road closures around the event.

Excellent location to spend Easter and chill in the sun. Hotel great, staff very friendly pool right size for the building never a problem to get a spot.

Only down side is the resort is quiet so little to do if you want to be active and limited number of restaurants. We went for a short break without kids so was perfect.

We loved our apartment. It was clean, spacious with all facilities in the kitchen. The swimming pool area was great for relax. We enjoyed most the beautiful ocean view. The staff was very friendly and always helpful.

The hotel greeted us in a really pleasant manner. The staff helped us with all our questions and even called about camel riding trip where they did not speak English. The room was very clean, with a great location in a small town overlooking the ocean from quite high up but not far at all from the beach. Great pool access with a nice little bar. Highly recommended!

Nice apartment be prepared to go further afield.

At 20.55h we just made it in time to pick up our keys from reception but too late to pick up essential supplies from the Spar that closes at 21.00h so it would have helped to know there was no soap provided but thankfully a small supply of bottled water was. The apartment was absolutely fine, clean and everything you could need was provided, the pool was never busy so there was always a sunbed but cushions and umbrellas were charged extra, we did not try the in house restaurant. We found one excellent restaurant, the Chiringuito just up the road from the main commercial centre where they served freshly cooked food, admittedly from a very limited menu and some very nice (Italian) wine. Our first time on Gran Canaria so advice from reception about places to visit was welcome. Frequent buses a short walk from the apartment made it cheap and easy to get to other nearby resorts which was just as well because Playa del Cura has very little to offer and is very rundown. Somebody should do something about the 'waste compactor' which seemed to be a prominent and very smelly landmark in the resort. Best place we visited in our short 4 day stay was Puerto de Mogan.

Stunning views but a little outdated

The positives: The apartments are set in a quiet area on the south coast in a sheltered bay and they are only a five minute walk up the hill from the bus stop and a five minute walk from the beach.The staff are friendly and helpful and the sea views from our balcony were stunning.
The apartment is a little outdated but it was clean, there was good storage for clothes and the beds were very comfortable.
The negatives: The toilet often smelt of stale urine and the temperature of the water in the shower fluctuated and often went cold during the second shower of the morning..

Hervorragender Blick aus dem Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück. Fehlendes bzw. zahlungspflichtiges WLAN in den Zimmern, dafür freies WLAN in der Bar bzw. im Frühstücksraum und in der Bibliothek.
Der Pool ist gut, der Jacuzzi ist mehr als angenehm und warm.
Der Strand in der Nähe ist leider im schrecklichen Zustand, riecht nach Algen, die Wasserleitung (um Sand von den Füßen abzuspülen) war während unseres Aufenthaltes defekt. Ein anderer Strand ist zu Fuß zu erreichen, der Weg dorthin ist allerdings abenteuerlich.
In den Apartments wohnten zu unserer Zeit überwiegend Touristen aus Skandinavien. Es herrschte Ruhe, es gab keine Animation, nur 1x wöchentlich findet ein gemeinsamer Abend mit kanarischem Essen und Live-Musik statt.

It is an ok place. Small, nice pool-area, but the rooms Are not very great.
Could be cleaner, very old and tired furniture. No handsoap or showersoap, you have to Get your own.
The breakfast was ok, but not great. They had White and brown bread, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, sausages and scrambled eggs, and a few seeds and bust. Tomato and cucumber was the only vegetables.
The hotel is located up a short hill, so very nice with a short walk (2 minutes) to the grocery store, and about 5 minutes walk to the beach. Very quiet area, a small village. But go somewhere Else if you want good food.
The staff was very helpful and friendly, full score.
The hotel is beautiful in the pool area, small, quiet. Nice pool and a chill jaccuzzi. Bar by the pool.
We arrived late, it was very easy to find the room and Get in Even if there was no staff after 10 pm.

Chambre et SDB fonctionnel, petite cuisine avec un salon. Chouette balcon, très belle vue sur la mer. Bonne litière et proprété bien.
Jacuzzi chauffé et chouette piscine.
Personnel très accueillant et sympathique.
Petit déjeuner copieux et bon.
Proche de la mer et d'un petit centre commercial avec plusieurs restaurants.
Ce qui est dommage est que pour chaque service il faut payer un supplément journalier (Wi-Fi en chambre, matelas pour la chaise longue, linge, parasol etc.)

Nous avons été très bien accueillies à notre arrivée et bien informés avant notre arrivée.
L’hôtel a été rénové il y a quelques années, ça reste un peu vieillot mais très propre et confortable.
Le rapport qualité - prix est très bon.
La piscine est agréable, non chauffée mais tant mieux, on se rafraîchit !
Le petit déjeuner est inclus, c’est intéressant. Il est varié, c’était bien. Les produits pourraient être de meilleure qualité mais ça reste très honnête.
Le parking est aisé en cette période (avril 2025) dans les rues alentours.

Les mosaïques qui décorent l’hôtel sont magnifiques.

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour !

Vi har bodd på Curasol gjentatte ganger, og vet hva vi kan forvente oss. Personalet er hyggelig men deler av innredningen begynner å bli litt slitt og utdatert. Frokosten var denne gangen en positiv overraskelse. Playa del Cura er generelt et rolig sted som passer for oss.

Notre séjour a dépassé nos attentes. Si les appartements sont peut-être un peu datés, ils sont bien conçus pour être pratiques et confortables, avec une literie de qualité, une salle de bains bien équipée et un auvent sur la belle terrasse. La piscine et le jacuzzi nous ont également permis de nous sentir bien. Le restaurant proposait un large choix de petits-déjeuners et le meilleur rapport qualité-prix du quartier pour le dîner.
Cependant, c'est le personnel qui nous a vraiment fait sentir accueillis et pris en charge. Les deux réceptionnistes étaient très aimables et serviables. Le personnel du restaurant et du bar de la piscine a fait tout son possible pour répondre à nos moindres besoins. Malgré la décision étrange de la direction de facturer des frais supplémentaires pour des services essentiels tels que le Wi-Fi dans les chambres, nous y séjournerions à nouveau avec plaisir.

Good apartment with a spacious terrace

The location is nice, in a quiet little village. The interior is somewhat outdated but functional. The kitchen is equipped with a decent selection of glasses, cutlery, etc. However, there was no soap provided anywhere, so guests need to purchase their own hand soap and shower gel.

Overall, we had a good stay, but we were surprised by the number of children present, including in the pool, despite the property being advertised as an adults-only complex. If children are allowed, as was clearly the case, the information stating that the complex is adults-only should be updated accordingly.

Helt ok lägenhet, lite gammal inredning. Balkongen mot havet och sol på eftermiddag var underbart. Frukost bra, allt fanns. Enda minuspiängen var att man var tvungen att betala om man ville ha handdukar och madrass i solstolarna vid poolen. Ha hellre högre rumspriser så slipper man böka med detta. Överlag bra boende, kunde tänka mig att bo där igen.

Die Lage des Hotels und des Pools sind super. Die Betten waren gut. Die Bepflanzungen und die künstlerisch gestalteten Wandfliesen bei dem Apartments sind auch sehr schön. Es muss aber überall dringend renoviert werden. Unser Zimmer war auch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Muffige Schränke. Alles recht schmuddelig und abgelebt leider. Das Essen war sehr schlecht. Unangenehme Gerüche an vielen Stellen im Hotel. Es war trotzdem ein schöner Urlaub aber in diesem Hotel würden wir definitiv nicht noch einmal schlafen.

Mehr als ein 2 Sterne Hotel

Das Hotel ist zwar nicht mehr ganz neu, aber sehr sauber und hat einen sehr gute Lage. Speziell die Rezeptionistin ist sehr freundlich und hat uns viele wertvolle Tipps zu Stränden und Restaurants sowie kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten in Las Palmas versorgt.
Das Apartment war zweckmäßig und bequem eingerichtet - einzig ein Ventilator hat uns gefehlt.
Das Beste am Hotel ist der Pool (+Whirlpool) bei dem man herrlich entspannen kann und einen tollen Blick aufs Meer und die Bucht hat. Das Frühstück war ok, hätte aber ein wenig abwechslungsreicher sein können. Sehr nett war auch die Mitarbeiterin Katharina an der Poolbar, die uns immer sehr freundlich und gut bedient hat.

Sviptur til Gran Canaria (5 overnatninger)

Dejligt voksen hotel, hvor man skal være min. 15 år, for at kunne bo her. Dette blev dog ikke overholdt, da der var flere mindreårige børn på hotellet, hvilket var generende især i pool-området.

Værelserne er rummelige med skøn udsigt. Dog var der et vinkøleskab på vores hotel og ingen fryser, dette var beklageligt.

Ligeledes mangler der aircondition, hvilket gjorde at det var ubehageligt varmt i rummet om natten.

Meget roligt område.

Pool-området er ikke handikapvenligt, da man skal ned af trapper for at komme til poolen.

Dejlig morgen buffet.
