Super Lage mit Blick auf den schönsten Strand im Süden. Shuttlebus zum Strand ist einmal die Stunde kostenfrei am Start. Man sollte wissen das es am Strand weder Liegen noch schattenspendende Schirme auf Hotelkosten gibt. Aber alles ist fair bezahlbar. Auch Taxifahrten vergleichsweise günstig.
Die Zimmer sind etwas abgewohnt und könnten eine Renovierung gebrauchen. Sonst insgesamt die erwartet gute Riu Qualität. Personal hervorragend und sehr kinderfreundlich.

El servicio es pésimo desde el front desk hasta el servicio del restaurante buffet , no tienes agua en el tigre tenia que ir a buscarla a sport bar, no tienen servicio en el refri de nada , lo único que daría cinco estrellas a la limpieza de la habitación , los empleados se quejan por no tener personas para trabajar .

The view from our room was outstanding. The room itself was spacious with lots of hangers and room to put clothing and unpack and keep suitcases. The washroom was huge. The bed was comfortable. The balcony was large with a place to hang and dry towels and clothes if needed there was a kettle and a mini fridge. The resort was full of people, but never felt that way there were lots of kids and families, and the customers and staff were all super polite. There was always something to do and somewhere to sit never had to wait. The staff works super hard. I’d be up early in the morning for a run and see staff washing windows top to bottom washrooms floors very busy trying to keep the place spic and span. Lots of front desk staff and people asking if there’s anything you needed it felt like a real relaxing holiday. It actually feels like home when we stay at RIU.

They are keen to change the towels and sheets but the rooms didn't seem particularly clean.
At meals they are very friendly and rush to clear away plates even before you have finished, but trying to get water or warm coffee often took a while, and replacement cutlery was hard to come by and ran out half way through meals.
My wife had a couple of bouts of vomiting and I gather that several families on different floors had a similar experience.
I found all staff friendly, willing and helpful. Food was plentiful, though a little repetitive and tended to get cleared away so late arrivals had a poorer selection.

We are a young family infant and 4 year old. Traveling mid January to escape the cold weather in Ireland and the long January blues. When we arrived the hotel charged us an extra €450 ish because they claim the Expedia booking was for 2 infants and that I had 1 infant and 1 child. Hotel or Expedia would not except responsibility and said it was a technical error so muggins just had to pay it. Was definitely something going on because I talked to another Irish couple with 2 kids and the exact say scenario with them. There was a vomiting bug in the hotel and 3 of us end up catching it was absolutely horrific. The drinks menu had a limited choice and you couldnt buy anything extra that wasn’t on the list. The buffet was poor and a lot of cross contamination going on with the chefs and the food not nice to see after a bug so we end up just eating out in restaurants the whole time after that. If your in a wheelchair or have kids in prams forget about it because it’s 2 lifts and a walk across the main pool and out to the steepest hill in the world to the kids pool and kids club madness. No kids mini disco after dinner because not enough kids in the place only a sea of grey. In short if you have kids and are used to a particular standard from all inclusive holidays stay well clear of this place. All the gym was disgraceful and not a real Rui hotel very poor

I'd read on trip advisor that there was terrible food poisoning etc! Rubbish, they might have had a norovirus bug in the hotel but staff made every effort with sanitisers at meal times to eliminate this, although we never spoke to anyone who was affected. Food was lovely & varied, no complaints. I was here for my friends 60th, as I found it, all the staff I came across were amazing. Salvador in the main restaurant who works mornings & evenings was brilliant when we wanted to organise a cake we had to bring our own as hotel need 48hrs (for info), to supply one. He kept it cool for us & made sure staff brought it out at correct time. All rooms sea view & west facing so you get the sunset. My only downside is the entertainment at night, its very basic/boring, thats my only complaint, Riu liven the entertainment up! We may be middle aged but people love 'Good Music'.

Good service in all areas. Always smiling, welcoming and knowledgeable hosts and serving staff. The employees who are responsible for the miniclub etc. deserve a particularly high praise.

Unfortunately, there were quite frequent outages on our room TV, but it was tolerable.

In the rooms on the 1st floor, the view is unfortunately very disturbed by safety nets in relation to the rocks.

Beautiful hotel to look at - but as often is when you look closer behind the beauty you really see what is there. Reception staff on the whole excellent, staff beyond there can’t comment as interactions were limited.

Food is extremely repetitive and extremely bland. No variation and for the price it certainly is not worth the money paid. Drinks are the same, pre made syrup cocktails - only good bar is the sports one where they treat you well and offer better drinks. Had 2 days in bed with a bad stomach - wouldn’t wish to comment on the cause.

Room itself looks great. Except paper peeling off the ceilings and a never ending issue with the shower tray filling up to ankle height no matter how long you’re in the shower meaning you feel disgusting even when getting out. Beds were made daily but don’t believe they were cleaned or swept thoroughly. Found tiny bugs on the final day as a straw to break the camels back.

Had to book this hotel last minute due to my original one cancelling and paid £550 more to go here - for £2760 for a week I would expect a hell of a lot more. An awful stay overall. Best part about it was the fantastic weather and views provided from the hillside position of the hotel.

The pools and sun lounging areas are up high so had a nice refreshing breeze most days. Lots of shade available to avoid midday sun. Staff are very warm and always helpful. There’s an outside terrace for the main restaurant which overlooks the beach and I really enjoyed all the food. Rooms are nicely laid out with a balcony. But if you smoke on the balcony it’s goes into to your neighbours air con….so please don’t!

The hotel is located atop a hill cliff overlooking Amadores beach so the views are fabulous. The all inclusive food is top class and a huge choice to suit all tastes. The room with sea facing balcony is spacious and a great shower. Downsides is the climb up from the beach there is a shuttle bus in the hour up til around 5 but otherwise a tough climb for 20-30 minutes or a taxi. The inclusive drinks are local so the quality and taste is poor. The wine was largely in drinkable and spirits just are not the same as branded drinks. Three pools on three levels but if you like to swim go to the sea as lots of kids splashing and jumping an adults only pool or swimming lane would be good. Entertainment is fine but very much family or older focused and ends around 10.00 so if you want a late night head to town or the pubs further up the hill.

Perfect hotel for any occasion!

It’s a really nice hotel and the food is amazing, they have shows every night and you can also do volleyball, yoga and other activities during the day that they arrange at the hotel so there’s always something to do! So it’s definitely a hotel suited for couples, singles, friends and families with children! And the best part, since you have all inclusive you can have as much alcohol as you want!

The employees are always friendly and we really felt at home here!

Booked this kind of last minute. Originally we booked a suite but the only ones left were on lower floors and there’s a net that blocks the view on floors 1&2. I asked to move to a double room on higher floor (4th floor) and it was perfect. The view is spectacular. Food was ok but we were happy to be at all inclusive resort.

Fabulous time at Vistamar RIU cannot have anything bad to say.All staff helpful and friendly. food fresh, hot and varied Covid 19 rules enforced fairly to all no favourites every table chair cleaned and sprayed immediately.Beer is Amstel which you can pull yourself also wine available at meals only downside of stay was the entertainment but considering last 18 months glad to see live singers and karaoke again had a great relaxing stay 28 August to 4 September 2021👍👍

From the moment you walk in this hotel shows it’s class, there is a fragrance pumped into the lobby , it smells divine. Safety wise there is a temperature camera in reception in constant use.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable with amazing views also super clean
The food has a large selection, is fresh and varied , the Asian restaurant is also very nice
Bar service is great and the bar is sanitized between customers
The pools are warm and always sunny
Safety is extremely important

First of all big Thank You to Michael (Belgium) from reception, it was my wife's 35th birthday and he managed to get us upgrade to Junior Suite on arrival with a wonderful views and huge room (we didn't ask) .
Plenty of really nice food at any time, drinks on every corner, staff really nice, views from hotel spectacular. Overall fantastic hotel.
The beach is fantastic, the only thing you have to get a bus to get to it, we had a car so it was no problem to us, as there is plenty parking spaces by the beach (would not recommend to walk to the beach as the footpath is very slippery and it would take you around 25min)
Would I stay there again? Oh yes!!!

The hotel is on a variety of levels, lifts can become busy at peek times but the upside is the bars and restaurants and pools all have different views, making a better experience when all inclusive. So much variety. Beds excellent.
Only one thing that we could honestly like, would have been a bigger balcony. But all balcony’s are the same size the stunning views make up for it.

Hotel nightmare !!!

Just completed an 8 night stay here with my partner on all inclusive basis ... we were both violently sick vomiting and temperatures .. staff are so hot and cold front desk in particular and in general just don’t get concept of customer care ... rude condescending attitude in general which is a pity because one or two are really quite nice ... informed front desk on morning of checkout we needed late checkout as we were still both very very weak from being sick and our flight not till 8:30pm .. all they were concerned about was there €68 late checkout fee being paid couldn’t care less if you had to crawl out of reception .. the frightening thing is this doesn’t seem to be isolated case most times we used toilets in reception area people could be heard vomiting !!!! ... Would never stay in a Riu establishment again EVER !! .. Ruined last part of our holiday back home and still not 100% right

Lovely Hotel.

Lovely all-inclusive hotel with a spectacular view. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The food was good and the all-inclusive drinks were wonderful. Very friendly staff and the show in the evening was enjoyable. Pool area was gorgeous and there were both pool tables as well as table tennis (ping pong). Took the free hotel shuttle down to the beach and walked back up the hill. A bit of a walk, but I loved the exercise. All in all, just perfect!!!

Other than the beach and the polite staff this hotel is beyond repair. The rooms are outdated and uncomfortable. The food is mediocre at best. The icing on the cake is being stuck in an elevator waiting for 20 min and having to climb out of it between the 4-5th floor. Management seemed to think this is a normal occurrence. I however, do not think so. I wish I would have read more reviews before booking. I hope you do the same.

We had the most wonderful stay at ClubHotel Rui Vistamar. Clean everywhere, and great service. Ruiland is absolutely perfect for the children. My daughter loved the craft projects, disco and the employees. The food was good. Pillows and hard matress in bed was not good for my back.

Hotel in good condition throughout but could probably do with updating, rooms ample and kept spotless with maid service every day. Would be hard to find more freindly and helpfull staff. Meals leave a lot to be desired, Chicken,pork,fish every day, only once saw roast beef, in fact the only thing we had that came from a cow was the milk.This is the only hotel I have stayed in where there is no freshly made coffee (only from machines) except breakfast, you get a flask The pool area could only to be reached by climbing a lot of stairs, but always plenty of sunbeds. To leave the hotel on foot is where the fit part comes in , you need to climb about 200m uphill to start your journey back down to the beach or shopping centre (very steep climb in the heat) also because there were only ever two lifts operating on our part of the hotel, waiting ten minutes was not uncommon. This hotel in my opinion is no four star , the staff on the other hand are five star

Nice hotel, All inclusive, great location

All rooms have sea view, service is excellent. Very friendly stuff. Hotel is family friendly. Good food quality and plenty of choice. 2 pools, both heated in winter, plenty of sunbeds. It is a long and steap walk to the beach and back but a free shuttle goes from the hotel between 9 and 17. Very relaxed atmosphere, perfect hotel for quiet and relaxing vacation. No night clubs around so you will only hear waves in the night. Very clean, both rooms and public areas. Very good water pressure in the shower. A small refrigerator at the room, air condition or heater, fan, simple balcony furniture, hair dryer. Lots of storage space the the room.

Amadores beach is very beautiful with many nice restaurants around.

All inclusive was great: no fee for safe deposit box, no fee or deposit for beach towels, free bottled water, entertainment included.

Down sides: very hard beds but you can request a softer madrass so it was not a problem for us. Some things in the room were a bit weared out but it didnt matter for us. Sometimes there is an awful smell some places by the pool and stares outside. Pool bar had dirty glasses. White vine is no so good but they have good cava. Children's playground is very smal and not very good equipped.

Overall, it is a nice hotel with wonderful sea view and overlooking Amadores beach (not from all rooms). Hotel is 3+ stars but with a 5-star service.

Hotel was very nice but because of distance UP from beach really required that you had a car but the bus shuttle for Amadores beach was very good. Our only criticism of the hotel was the lack of an adult bar - we could not have a relaxing drink before dinner as the kids club was on in the bar - we would have needed ear plugs!! We found this unacceptable

Vi var veldig godt fornøyd med vårt opphold på hotellet. Utmerket uteanlegg med flere basseng. All inclusive med flott frokost. Middagen hadde tema hver kveld og rikelig med valgmuligheter. Rommet var rent og rengjøringen tilfredsstillende. Det var underholdning de fleste kveldene. Noen få anmerkninger:
Hotellet har mange etasjer og det var problemer med heiser som ikke fungerte. Det var lite informasjon om reperasjoner eller når man forventet heisene i drift.
Restauranten kunne hatt bedre tilbud på fisk og sjømat til middag.

Das Essen war sehr gut und das meiste Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Bei einer Unannehmlichkeit wurde direkt in verschiedensten Wegen geholfen. Da das Hotel sehr hoch liegt, muss man gut zu Fuß sein, da es sehr steil ist, dafür hat man einen top Ausblick. Parkplätze für 9€ ist auch top.

Nydelig opphold, fantastisk mat

De fleste rom på RIU Vistamar har en en nydelig utsikt mot sjøen, til Amadoresstranden eller mot Puerto Rico. Rommet var rent og fint, servicen var god, mat variert og fantastisk god. Noe av det beste jeg har opplevd,

Extremely disappointing

Extremely disappointing – reservation error, unhelpful staff, and poor service

We were looking forward to our stay at RIU Vistamar, but our experience was ruined due to a serious booking error and a complete lack of assistance from the hotel staff. Upon arrival, we discovered that our children had been incorrectly registered as infants — which they clearly are not. This should have been a simple fix, but instead of helping us, the hotel staff charged us an additional 40% and refused to correct the mistake.

Worst of all, they withheld our passports until we paid the extra charge. This felt like blackmail and is completely unacceptable. The staff were arrogant, inflexible, and not service-minded at all. We were simply told to contact Hotels.com, while the hotel refused to take any responsibility or offer any support.

We travel frequently and have never encountered anything like this. RIU Vistamar should seriously reconsider their approach to customer service and staff attitude. We will definitely not return.

L’hôtel est trop étendu. Il faut beaucoup marcher pour aller de la chambre à la piscine par exemple. Toujours prendre l’ascenseur…

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit tollem Meerblick und tollen Räumlichkeiten. Große Speisenauswahl und ganztägige Versorgung. Tolle Kinderbetreuung und teils sehr sehenswerte Shows. Gute Betten.
Leider ein paar Wermutstropfen:
1. Insbesondere zu Stoßzeiten, muss man viel Zeit für das Fahrstuhlfahren investieren. Gerade wenn man sein Zimmer im 1. Stock mit Kindern hat. Das Leben des Hotels spielt sich im. 8. und 9. Stock ab.
2. Der Strand ist hotelseitig für die meisten wohl nur mit dem Hotelbus zu erreichen. Der fährt aber nur im Stundentakt und letztmals um ca. 17 Uhr. Ein spontaner abendlicher Spaziergang an der gut ausgebauten Promenade ist nur mit dem Mietwagen oder teurem Taxi möglich.
3. Tagsüber kaum Möglichkeiten spontan Wasserflaschen zu erhalten. Erst nach 18 Uhr. Da hätte ich mir mehr Flexibilität gewünscht.
4. Zimmer wurden zwar vor einiger Zeit renoviert, sind aber extrem hellhörig. Selbst Toilettenspülungen von den überliegenden Zimmern sind im Zimmer deutlich zu hören.
5. Fitnesscenter verhältnismäßig klein und insbesondere die Cross-Trainer sind stark abgenutzt.

Super service og dejligt solområde med flot udsigt

Meget servicemindede og imødekommende medarbejder overalt på hotellet. Dejligt sol område med ok plads til alle. Flot udsigt over havet. Rengøringen ved pool/solsenge ikke optimal, og vi havde desværre som mange andre gæster på hotellet en oplevelse med sygdom (pga. maden).
