The hotel is clean and modern. All the staff we encountered were warm and friendly - reception suggested taking on-street taxis rather than Uber, as they said were just as safe and cheaper - whilst apprehensive of their advice, they were right!

It's located in the JBR area, so it's walking distance to other restaurants and shops, if you fancy exploring the local vicinity.

The gym is well equipped and the equipment is the same/comparable to some standalone gyms.

We visited the spa for massage treatments which was excellent - book in advance.

The bar/cafe and restaurant had a variety of options which catered to most tastes - couldn't fault the quality.

Whilst they have an area on the beach designated for guests, the number of loungers are limited. There is space within the grounds, but note the music will be louder and constant.

From the moment we arrived at Rixos, we knew we were in for something special—but the experience still managed to exceed our expectations in every possible way.
The standout for us was the impeccable room cleaning and attention to detail. Every day, we returned to a room that looked brand new—freshly made beds, spotless bathrooms, and even small, thoughtful touches like carefully arranged toiletries, folded towels, and a perfectly organized space that made us feel genuinely cared for. The housekeeping staff clearly take great pride in their work, and it shows. It’s rare to find such consistent, high-standard cleanliness, and it made our stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing.
Beyond that, everything else about our stay was flawless. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The facilities were top-tier, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the entire atmosphere of the hotel felt luxurious yet welcoming.

Over all we enjoyed our stay but there is room for improvement.

Buffet restaurant was not up to much. Poor selection of food and the same every night. We were half board which in hindsight I think bed and breakfast would have been better. You could only use the buffet restaurant within your half board package as the other restaurants on the resort were not included or even offered to with some discount. Nor were fizzy drinks (not even one) with your meal at the buffet on half board basis were included which is quite rare

Bathroom in room is starting to need some tlc as silicon is starting to mould and the fittings were loose

Couple of the reception members were not as friendly as some more so one in particular. I do not appreciate my child being looked at as though she does not belong there when we are just as good as paying guests as the rest.

Kids club was lacking in enthusiasm with early closures and no entertainment for kids on an evening.

Restaurants/bars were limited on evenings if you have children which is a shame and a loss to the hotel really especially when there is no evening entertainment for families.

Pool sun loungers were increasingly hard to find as the week went on. I would suggest more beds or if there is an adults only pool, which there was, you then a rule is brought in for adults only to be in that area rather taking up spaces in the family pool. The pool closed fairly early too which a lot of people were disappointed about.

The rixos was absolutely the best hotel we have ever being in. From the front dest to the pool to the cleaning crow. The place was unreal. This hotel is located in the heart of Dubai Jumeirah Beach, it is in walkable distance to Dubai Marina and Blue Waters , Ain Dubai. the hotel is located at the nice sandy beach , the room are pretty spacious . Even though there are many restaurants outside at JBR , the hotel offers such a great breakfast that you would not even want o leave the property . The Naturelife spa is amazing and offers variety of treatments . We love Govida cafe at the reception. Everyone at the reception is so friendly and knowledgeable, especially Yvan, the housekeeping personal is very attentive as well . Also, we love to express our appreciation for Natasha at the concierge service , who helped us with booking of the show \" La Perle \" .

I had a very enjoyable stay at Rixos Premium JBR, the room was very comfortable and house keeping was absolutely superb. I had a half board booking which was a little disappointing that this only covered the Turquoise restaurant buffet for breakfast and evening meal - in other hotels I have stayed in each restaurant would have a half board menu which allowed much more choice. I found myself eating out most evenings just to have a bit of variety with so many restaurants along JBR, so next time I would probably book just bed and breakfast. The Azure pool and beach club was absolutely fantastic with the beach, two pools and plenty of loungers, the staff there couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. The location at JBR is fantastic and is lively.

The room was perfect and the noise that we’ve heard complaints of on recent reviews wasn’t bad at all. The turquoise restaurant had everything you could imagine and was lovely. The food was delicious the staff were very attentive too. If you get chance then definitely Visit the spa. We enjoyed the hammas Turkish treatment for 2 and was thoroughly enjoyable.

I’ve stayed at several Rixos hotels before because I know the brand stands for quality, but unfortunately, this one was really disappointing and didn’t live up to the standard I’ve come to expect. Here’s why we felt let down:

1. The facilities were poor. The beach was packed with sun beds, leaving no space for kids to play. On top of that, the beds were crammed so close, it was hard move around. This was a joke of beach!

2. The room quality just wasn’t up to scratch. There were dodgy sockets, broken latches on the bathroom and main doors, and a sink that smelled because dirt kept getting stuck in the funnel. No air extractors in the bathroom, scratched windows, stained sofas, poor signage and the list goes on.

3. No full board or soft drinks included! Compared to other Rixos hotels I’ve stayed at, this one was more expensive, yet didn’t include basic things like full board, drinks, or even snack bars.

4. Some staff seemed down or unmotivated. Many came across as if they were just pretending to be nice.

5. They had loud music playing all day in the swimming pool area. Next door hotel also had music until 2am!

The list can go on!!

Honestly, the whole experience felt more like a 3 star hotel, which is such a shame for a brand like Rixos. We also stayed at the Palm Atlantis, which thankfully made the holiday better!

If you want to see how it should be done, Rixos Premium Magawish in Hurghada is a perfect example. Amazing service, beautiful rooms, and a real VIP feel.

Shocking indifference and detained by staff

I booked three rooms at the hotel, a 2 bedroom suite, a junior suite and a premium delux room for 9 nights for my family. Paid over £25,000, We are well traveled and appreciate that mistakes occur even when starting at 5 star hotels, the overriding difference is that hotel is l not like others which recognise immediately that holiday time away with the family is priceless that you can’t get back and to reflect this when things go wrong, instead, this hotels attitude and senior management approach is to argue, disbelieve, attempt to do the bare minimum, to fob one off and ultimately not make right even things go bad. I write this brief review which includes no embellishment with a hope to help others.

Check in took 2 hours, they messed up our booking. Took 24 hours to resolve that.

In the family pool a couple was having sex on two occasions, reported to staff but they were too awkward to resolve. Finally security were called.

The pool area is not controlled by the hotel, club music played all day long at a sitter crazy level that inhibits any conversation , reading or listen to EarPods . Staff ignore requests to moderate.

Impossible to get a fun lounger by pool, staff take bribes from guests to reserve loungers. The pool area opens at 7am yet I would wake up at 6am and almost all were taken.

To sit next to the pool to watch little ones play in the water, you have to pay 2000 aed per lounger.

At end, we were forced to pay charges or be detained by hotel security.

Exc lent ultra modern hotel on great location on the walk.
We stayed 3 nights here on b&b rate, we had deluxe room on 33rd floor great views.
There was plenty of choice at breakfast,
We spent a few hour by the pool the pool guys were such good fun and always found us a bed, god dj and saxophonist playing.
Good selection of restaurants in the hotel we ate in Luigia and Ammo’s both highly recommend
All the staff are lovely and accommodating a special mention to Maria on reception who really looked after us on checkin what a lovely friendly girl

I'm a regular Rixos customer and, as always, my stay was superb. The Staff really make it a pleasure. Only downsides for the first time here were the very noisy construction right next door and the somewhat scuffed and tired-looking poolside furniture. These matters need to be addressed.

I normally rate 5/5, but this time I was going to give a 3. It would have stayed at a 3 had the staff not been so wonderful.

Pros - nice pool area, good food at buffet, excellent housekeeping staff, good access to restaurants and shops on JBR strip.

Cons - cold service checking in at reception, AC in rooms not strong enough, no personal touches to your stay if that's what you're used to at other hotels.

Note that the hotel takes a deposit at the beginning of ur stay, we left 11 days ago and are still yet to receive the remainder of the deposit.

This hotel was huge and felt a little lonely as a solo traveller. I didn’t feel the exceptional customer service on checking in as I have at other hotels. The food was excellent. Buffett again huge and service was slow due to volume of dinners at peak time.

Excellent - clean, central location, the pool is excellent for adults and families. Staff are friendly and always there to help. The suite is perfect for families with young children.

Need to improve
- lifts, every day it seems like only one or two is working, stops at every floor. There are 6 lifts but it doesn’t work very well.
- pillows were too hard - I didn’t ask for better ones because I was too tired every night
- AC is intermittently working, one room it was too cold or too hot.
- Godiva downstairs is useless, no coffee or ice cream available.
- the hotel needs a coffee shop
- breakfast is very good but the options feel the same every day. Some variation will be nice, better selection of cakes/pastries.
- waiter service by the pool is slow, takes a while to get someone’s attention

My wife and I stayed 1 week at the Rixos Premium JBR. The hotel and facilities were excellent. The superior room we stayed in was spacious and had sea views across to the big wheel and Palm.

The pool area and loungers were first class. There were lots of great restaurants both in the hotel and nearby. The nearest tram stop which links to the train Metro is just 10 minutes walk away.

We definitely made the right choice staying on The Walk at JBR and the Rixos ticked all the boxes

The Rixos is a stunning hotel. would give it 10/10 for room luxury and staff service. The buffet restaurant for breakfast is excellent with all the variety one would want. We dined there two evenings and found quality and variety second to none. The 'payable' pool area would recommend as it is more exclusive and quieter. Thoroughly recommend and one of the best hotels we have stayed in.
There wasn't anything we did not like but a few things to be aware of 1) Like many of the hotels on Jumeirah, the pool and beach area face north hence with the high rise buildings (inc. the hotel itself) it can be quite dark outside until @ mid -day. 2) Smoking is widespread in Dubai and we found some in the bar and pool area to be annoying 3) Jumeirah area is far from many of the attractions in the city (@45 mins taxi) so need to plan days.

Management really rude and disrespectful this time round, before I had never had any issues with staying at the Rixos, but this time round really disappointed and sadly me or any of my family members will ever return there again. We tend to go away to enjoy and relax and that wasn’t that case this time. The service at Rixos was appealing. Made me and my family wait 5 hours even though I had prior. Landed in the morning at Dubai at 5 am. Got to the hotel at 6am. The front desk attendants were flap rude and in helpful. We had to wait 5 hours for our rooms to be available.
In prior investigations the rooms were available but had to be released by housekeeping.
Terrible avoid this hotel.

We liked many things about this hotel. The cleaning folks were very nice, and the room was exceptional.

The thing that stood out to me most was the service from the hotel front-desk, restaurants, and spa. I found them to be very condescending. It really made us feel like we did not feel welcome. While acknowledging this is a very nice place to stay, the staff can definitely use some customer-service lessons.

It doesn’t matter how nice a hotel is (we’ve stayed in nicer ones), there is no excuse for receptionists to be rude/ or make someone feel uncomfortable, especially when staying at a hotel of this prestige.

Really enjoyed our stay. Good location and facilities - the pool area and bedrooms are excellent, there is a fantastic gym with a beautiful view, and the restaurants we tried were great. Beyond this, we were really impressed with the service - the friendly and welcoming team went out of their way to make sure we were happy. From Ather Ali, who cleaned our room each day, to all of the restaurant, pool and front desk teams. Would definitely stay here again.

Check in on arrival was great. Got a room earlier so we could rest after traveling. First impression was staff was really not that friendly. Must be the Russian clients that seems to be always angry looking and staff is just playing along. No one took our bags to the room just handed the keys and be on our way, but did take the passports and then had somone bring them up to the room. Beach staff seemed uninterested in taking orders for food or drinks. Might want to take some lessons from RIU Hotels in Mexixo. The good part was the restaurants, great staff, seems to be happy to serve you. Room was clean and with good view and decor. Over all its an OK hotel for the price. I think they could do a lot better with service side for the price.

Great stay! Nice, clean, comfortable, great service, pool and beach access which was amazing. The gym is the best one I've seen in a hotel. Nice and close to local restaurants & bars. You can't go wrong here.
