The parking lot is full of potholes. The room came with no towels and after being told they would be brought to the room, they never appeared. Housekeeping showed up on my last day at 9;00 am. The shower floor was like riding a surfboard, someone will get hurt. One star review because the toilet flushed.

This his place needs help…. Someone seriously needs to invest in replacing everything from furniture in the lobby, to repairing plumbing in the bathrooms, replacing rugs in the rooms, and stocking the vending machines and snacks,, beverages, and sundries at the front desk. The staff was fine, but the place is in tough shape!

Only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff were nice and I felt safe as a solo traveler. Honestly, one thing after another kept going wrong. The first room I was given had ants, a broken security lock, and the A/C plus a few lamps were not working due to blown outlets. I was kindly given a second room which was bug free and air conditioned, thankfully. There is also construction going on at all times of day and night and most of the amenities are not available right now, including laundry, gym, and the lounge area. I had to get my keycards re-programmed every day because they would just quit working which was extra annoying. Lastly, on my last night, the ceiling started leaking. Hopefully they get it fixed up, because it is in a lovely area and the staff are all so nice and accommodating.

A man in a white shirt black bangs and a yamuka who claimed to be management made me very uncomfortable while I waited for my handicapped wife to get to the car in front of the main entrance and his car was parked there for no apparent reason blocking the main entrance started to question me until I told him I’m a guest than began to try to change the rude and unprofessional behavior he was displaying very weird vibes

I hadn't read a review of this hotel before booking it and since I was only staying for one night on my way north for several days in New York state, I decided to keep the reservation. This hotel is in terrible condition -- entering through the lobby, there are postings everywhere of what is out of order -- the workout facilities, the laundry, the phones don't work. The decor is exceptionally outdated, the carpets and walls stained and everywhere I looked in the upstirs hallway was trash piled outside rooms or just lying on the floor near the elevator. The parking lot is in terrible shape with cracked asphalt and pot holes. The room and indeed the whole hotel suffered from ongoing neglect and it just didn't seem either clean or maintained at all. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

I’ve stayed there for 4 nights and on my third day when I requested for housekeeping service to be done they totally didn’t do it. I don’t know why but when I got back from work after working a 12-hour shift, my room has not been cleaned and made up at all! So disappointed.

Very simple, no frills lodging. The common area is the hallways could use new carpet. The staff you know was reasonably good the evening staff much more pleasant when I got there the morning staff and yeah I could just use a little more TLC like larger soap and washcloth and things like that, but it served the purpose, and the price was fair.

First of all the ad is deceiving that there is a fitness gym and pool when in fact these are not opened and in active working condition. Second, when I got to my room there were just lot of missing things and items such as chair for the table, ironing board, ice bucket, microwave. And the following day when I came back from work, my contact lens case is missing. I reported it to the front desk staff immediately and the following day they said that the housekeeper didn’t see any contact lense case. Where else my lens case could have been but rather just on the bathroom sink. As soon as i opened that case and wore my contact lenses that morning I just left it there and didn’t bring it with me. That’s just like a toothbrush after you brush your teeth you just put it on the bathroom sink or cabinet. So I had a feeling that the housekeeper tossed it and thought it was a trash and just denied it that she didn’t see it. Other issue I had is the bathroom light is flickering at times. Other than that the affordability of hotel’s room rates are good.

The most horrible hotel i have ever been too all amenities out of service for broken smelly wet and moldy hallway, in room dirty dirty bathroom, stained sheets and stained towels. Rug in room 162 completely soaked had to wear shoes bc socks would be ruined the whole time in there, smelled like mold, no manager on staff all day and night into next dsy, just one girl, looking like a deer in headlights and confused.
DISGUSTING SHOULD BE VLOSED, OR CONDEMED, ITS THAT HAZARD AND DANGEROUS.

My fiancée and I stayed at the hotel for one night on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Room 175. Upon arrival, there were no staff members at the front desk to assist with check-in, and we had to wait approximately 10 minutes before someone became available.

The room itself was fairly decent; however, the following morning we discovered numerous ants crawling throughout the room, which was very concerning.

Additionally, during our stay, I accidentally cut my foot. Unfortunately, when we looked for basic first-aid supplies, there was no first-aid kit available in the room or no one at the front desk that could assist.

Overall, these issues negatively impacted our experience and fell short of the level of service and accommodations we expected.

This hotel should not be operating in its current condition. The issue was not with the staff, who were polite, but with the state of the property itself and the apparent lack of ownership or management. The hotel felt neglected, poorly maintained, and unsafe.

My first room was not properly cleaned or vacuumed. Several lamps were not working, and there were insects in the room. After I requested to be moved, I was assigned a second room, where I found visible mold on the curtains. The air in both rooms felt dirty, humid, and unhealthy.

The gym had a notice posted regarding hazardous and unhealthy conditions, which was alarming. To make matters worse, it is nearly impossible to contact the hotel. None of the phone numbers appeared to work, and there was no reliable way to reach management for assistance.

The overall property gave the impression of being abandoned and lacking proper oversight. I was so uncomfortable with the conditions that I left shortly after being moved to the second room and booked another hotel. Expedia and travelers should seriously reconsider listing this property until significant improvements are made and proper management is put in place. I would not recommend staying here under any circumstances.

The price was good but you get what you pay for. The restaurant is not open. The pool, fitness center and laundry are closed to hotel guests. The entire property needs to be renovated. The smoke detector in our room went off from 1:30am to 3:30am (battery issue). We asked but never knew if it was fixed.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Check-in was cool but room was dirty, carpet older and filled with stains. The room stinks,I had to switch to a second room which was slightly smelly. I didn't have the energy to get switched to a 3rd room. This place is poorly kept. The bed sheets had stains on it. Bed was uncomfortable. THis place needs some serious renovation. Very old and run down. Front desk clerk was really nice though.

When 4 guests arrived at 2:55 the clerk didnt even know what rooms were ready. We waited for 15 minutes until the clerk came back and gave us our room keys. The hotel had garbage in the hallways outside at least 6 rooms. The internet was out !! Surprise, surprise. The only reason i stay here is because its cheap. I only stay here when i travel alone. I would never allow my family to stay here

At first, everything was great after checking in. The day after, stepped out for about 3 hours and came back to the room, the desk covered in ants.
The clerk was able to accommodate me in another room. After that everything was great. The AC worked well and the room was clean. My remaining stay was awesome. Will definitely consider staying there again next month.

Potholes in parking lot will kill you. Room was clean, but no ice bucket, towels(1 hand towel, 2 towels) for a 2 night stay in over 80 weather for 2 nights- 2 women? Alarm clock didn't work properly. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The hotel was extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and had a terrible smell that made the stay very uncomfortable. The room did not feel properly cleaned at all, and the overall condition was unacceptable. For the amount charged, basic cleanliness and comfort should be expected, but this place failed badly. Sleeping here was uncomfortable, and the environment felt unpleasant from start to finish. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless serious improvements are made.

The hotel room was not well maintained. There was no microwave where there should have been one. The mini fridge below where the microwave should have been was clean but a bit wobbly. There was only one towel in the bathroom upon arrival and the bottom part of handicap bar in the shower was not attached. I went to grab onto it while showering and it swung to the right almost causing me to fall. Later on, I went to the front office to ask for more towels because they do not have phones in the hotel room to call the front desk. Once back in the room, I noticed a brown stain on one of the towels the person at the front desk had just given me.

The stay at this hotel was okay for the reason that it was needed. It is in better condition than some I have visited in the past. The first room I was given the lock did not work. I was able to switch rooms with little to no effort but I wasn't able to get another Queen size bed like originally booked. The rooms did not have wash clothes, but was not a deal breaker for me. I did arrive to a police presence which was due to another customer who was extremely upset about the room conditions that they receive. I did witness several other customers get double bed rooms because it was all that was left. It is not the worse hotel I have been to. I did give the stay a 3 star because the staff were semi-decent with accommodating my personal issues. Overall I would stay again if I am in the area but it would not be my absolute first choice.

What I liked most was that the property was quiet and relaxing. One thing I didn’t like was that the key had to be changed often. This hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was totally outdated. The room had not been remodeled probably since the 50is. The carpet looked gross the smell was bad, curtains were hanging off the hooks. The fitness center is permanently “temporary closed” as is the pool. The person at the front desk had no clue about anything. I asked for somewhere to buy water and both the evening and morning person working had no idea. The only other person checking in that I saw was a homeless with her plastic bags.

Don’t stay here. I was going to a funeral and wanted to be close to St. Thomas Aquinas college.

As with most hotels in the $50-$70 per night range there are bound to be pro's and cons...pro's are the location is fairly convenient after leaving the Cuomo Bridge, the first exit, then about 10 min. to the hotel in Orangeburg. The hotel is in a residential area, so feeling unsafe was not a factor and parking was free and plentiful. Cons...The kid at the front desk was friendly, but very uninformed...when I asked if the hotel had an ice machine, he looked stunned and had no clue and seemed to care less. So, after check-in I looked for one and found it on the first floor, but it was not working, so on a hunch I checked on the 2nd floor in the same location and VIOLA!, there was a working ice machine...but, since there was no ice bucket in the room I had to fill up a plastic supermarket bag and put it in my soft-cooler and then into the fridge...which luckily did work. The room itself was OK, I had stayed at the Armani before so I knew what to expect...no microwave, only 1 in the lobby for some reason...lame! The room carpet clearly had not been sufficiently vacuumed as I found left-over cheerios and some other weird stuff laying about. The bathroom was fine, clean and the shower was hot with plenty of pressure, but there was a crack in the mirror. All n All this place needs a major upgrade, seems to be dyin...The lounge downstairs looked like it was abandoned, reminded me of a post-apocalypse scene from a movie...But, as I said for cheap money, you can't expect much more.

We asked for towels and they told us they only had two left. The gym and the laundry facilities were closed by the health department. There was no seating outdoors. The halls smelled of weed and cigarette smoke. We stayed one night and left because we were so uncomfortable and frankly felt a bit unsafe. While we were leaving there were police at the front desk. Who knows why they were there. One can only imagine.

Upon checking in our first room at 2 AM the room was terrible and it smelled like cigarette. It did not look fresh. It did not clean. I went back to the front desk. They gave me another room that was in much better shape. I was there for all of one night in two days and the handle to the toilet broke. They were kind enough to give me another room as I was staying for two more nights checking in the third room the paint on the tub was peeling and some furniture and amenities inside the room. We’re missing the stuff management during my stay so I had to stay in the room and I cannot get a refund. They refuse a refund prior to that I had booked this hotel and my flight was canceled. The hotel refused to give me a refund so if you decide to book this hotel, be sure to show up or you will not get your money back. I will not be staying again.

Not as pictured on website! This is an old hotel that needs renovation. It had an open wall outlet, peeling wallpaper, water stains on the ceiling, dirty carpet and mildew and hair in the bathtub. The fitness room was not open. The mini frig didn’t have a freezer compartment. WiFi was not password protected. The beds only had a sheet on top, no spread One bed lacked a top sheet. There were no hand towels or washcloths and no coffee maker in our room when we arrived. The bathroom light was bad and kept flickering madly. Only positives: free parking and cheap.

I’ve been staying here for years ,since it was a Holiday Inn, so I’ve seen this place deteriorate. Got a room with a particularly bad mattress and there was a leak causing a very wet area at the side of the bed. The place used to be great but it’s quickly deteriorating with no apparent care to fix it up . It’s sad to see .
Parking lot needs repair. ALL CARPETS NEED STEAM CLEANING !!!! Desperately!
Truth be told , the only way to save this place is to close it down and completely redo it . That’s why Holiday Inn sold it . They knew that’s what it needed .
