Had an amazing stay here recently. Was greeted by two lovely front desk agents, Judith and Stephanie. I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise after a stressful month I had. Checked into a great room with a balcony and had a perfect view of a gorgeous sunset. Made myself comfortable and then after I got settled in, I got ready to go to the restaurant. Sat at the bar and had a great meal and conversation with Adrian. It's always a pleasure to be there. I'd definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it too

Booked more than 30 days in advance for a King sized room. I get there at 7pm, wiped out from a long Valentine’s Day and they say “Oh we oversold, sorry! I’ll give you two double beds”. COMPLETELY RUINING the vibe of the day and trust I had in Hyatt to come through for me. Then the “compensation” was a complimentary continental breakfast to be served at 6a…when I have to check out at 5:30a.

Never really leave reviews, but this was a MAJOR letdown. As someone who does things last minute, I felt good to have rock solid plans for a special date. All to the waste side when they oversold and NEVER contacted me to make things right or allow me to find something that DID meet my new needs. I truly need some reconciliation for this. Such an unpleasant first and lasting impression!

The staff in general were very welcoming, courteous and knowledgeable. The hotel itself very beautiful very well kept. Lobby and Hallways smelled nice and did the decor was great. Our room was nice and the shower was amazing. We did have a slight musty order coming from the rug. May need to be replaced soon. Other than that, we had a great weekend. Will return soon. Clean room, nice staff everything was on point. But the thing is I was charge $127 which I was told if I eat anything from the minibar they’ll take it from my deposit. I drank apple and cranberry juice. Next day the charges my $5 extra from my account but I’m yet to recieve my refund of$127.

Large hotel room, nice firm bed and good toiletries. Room showed quite a bit of wear and tear from buttons missing on the tufted bench to the door's lock looking like it had been tinkered with and missing a face plate. (See Picture) We only didn't complain as we saw some other doors in the same state and were eager to relax after a long day. While we ended up having a nice stay, our impression was definitely that this boutique hotel is past its prime.

We were there for a family gathering and the food & beverage staff are really great. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The problem... NOISE. My friends complained of hearing snoring, fighting, and loud TVs. I heard the chair being moved above me, and then at 4:00 a.m., someone next to my room must have had a bad dream and screamed. It scared the crap out of me and I couldn't get back to sleep. It's an old warehouse, and whoever built it out did not think about noise barriers.

Accountability is the name of the game here. When I arrived to the hotel, the road was blocked off by firefighters for maybe an hour. I was tired from a long drive, so it was not how I needed to start the check-in process. I ended up parking on the street and walking to the hotel. A small fire in the laundry room was the cause of it all. They had to shut down the elevators, so they were asking everyone to take the stairs. I was tired and had bags, so I decided to go to the bar to wait until the elevators were working again.

Accountability is the star here. The manager or someone who may have been a manager walked over to the bar and offered complimentary drinks. The next day I woke up to a notice on the door giving us 50% off the room rate and complimentary breakfast. The hotel is great esthetically, but the customer service takes it over the top.

When I got up fornwork the next morning, the restaurant was closed. The person at the fromt desk apologized for that inconvenience and comped 100% of one of my nights there. I didn't fuss or complain about anything. They did all of that on their own and that was very impressive. I will definitely come back to this hotel for future work trips.

The rooms look nice. The hotel is clean. No complaints at all.

Great hotel! Love the design. Conveniently located. Plenty of parking. Clean rooms. Courteous staff. Great restaurant and bar on premises. Fun Salsa night on Saturdays! The only negative is that we got a double room for 3 girls and the beds aren't queen. They are more like a full size so a little small if you're sharing. Thankfully we were both small so it wasn't a problem!

My wife and I stayed in a king room for a couple of days. The room had everything we needed for a short stay, and the AC kept the space comfortable even though it was a bit loud. The hotel being pet friendly is a plus, though we did hear dogs barking during the day, which sounded like they might have been left alone.

The room design feels dated and a bit worn, and the smoke detector light flashes every few seconds, which made it harder to sleep. The bathroom looks modern, but the glass door blocks part of the entryway, and the shower door comes very close to the sink when opened. The windows are frosted, so there isn’t really a view, likely they assumed that guest would not want to see the cemetery.

On the positive side, the staff are very friendly and professional, which we genuinely appreciated.

Even with the issues, we still had a decent stay overall.

The food wasn't nearly as good as last year's trip to your hotel. The maid service took our soiled towels and face cloths but did not replace them with clean ones. Room wine glasses were left dirty. The noise from the other rooms was deafening. There was no parking available. We had to fend or ourselves and walk a great distance to get back to our room. Dining room chairs were soiled. All in all, it was much less appealing compared to last year. Due to that, we will be looking for a different hotel for our next year's annual trip which is disappointing. We used to love your hotel. On a positive note, the wait staff was wonderful.

Comfortable rooms with a helpful staff. The carpets throughout the hallways looked dirty but I suppose that is subjective.

The walls are a bit thin so if the guests next door are making noise you will hear it. Lastly, the hallways and elevator has a strong scent of marijuana.

Overall a decent hotel stay for the price point.

Stayed on a Friday and Saturday. Friday Night they have a salsa night until midnight. My suite was directly above the DJ. Had to hear loud music until midnight. Staff could not do anything due to being full. Would not recommend staying here on the weekends. Even on Saturday there was loud music in the bar area until Midnight. Stay was not worth the money spent. Would not stay hear again.

The property was great nice location. I was greeted with a welcome but when other patrons came in they where warm welcomed. Given a tour and update of the property which i didnt receive. And also the bed sheet had a red stain or blood not sure we didnt notice because we dont sleep under the sheets usually just on the top comforter but when we pulled it back seen a red blood mark on the bed.

There is too little help in the restaurant. We waited 15 mins to be seated before we decided to leave and go have breakfast somewhere else. Front desk staff was very kind and helpful, room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel can be noisy, but not too excessive.

Hotel is relatively new with high ceilings and exposed piping and air conditioning. Everywhere the hotel was very clean and the staff always pleasant and helpful.. we were on the fourth floor which had a metal roof. During rainy windy weather it was very loud in the room.

An absolutely terrible hotel. If you're thinking this is a real Hyatt and Hyatt quality, think again. It is absolutely not and one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. Immediately upon checking into my room (after noticing the digital card reader was completely ripped off from the door which again I've never seen at a Hyatt), I walked in and saw a dirty rag and cleaning spray on the floor. Have honestly never seen that in 30+ years of staying at hotels. The room looked dirty with very cheap shabby chic decor. And forget about getting a good night's sleep. It is incredibly loud as the walls appear to be made out of paper (you can hear everything from the surrounding rooms); it also had a wall AC (which I suppose may be common in New York?)...I certainly would not have stayed at the hotel had I known that b/c of my allergies and I had to keep the wall AC off the entire time I was there. The hotel is also right off the highway so there's nothing around you so I would grab dinner before heading back to my hotel. The first night I tried to order dinner from the hotel itself and used their QR code (which is the only way you can order food). I then immediately got a call from their kitchen/front desk telling me they are out of pasta (which is not what I had ordered at all); I had to place my dinner order at least 3 times before they finally got it right. If you're coming to NYC to either visit or for work, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Most of the reviews I have seen are accurate. Very noisy from room to room with paper thin walls. The hotel is not in a very convenient location to the town, and I would say quite unkempt for an establishment that charges such a high nightly rate. The staff members were nice, but policies were not very accommodating (late checkout charge no matter how many minutes/hours are requested). Destination fee is just nickel and diming patrons for no addes benefit. I will gladly stay elsewhere next time I am in the area.

I had to call management twice about the air conditioning not working properly. I was moved to another room in the middle of the night because of the air not working in our first room. If you want a quiet room don't book a room at this hotel i had to listen to \" back that azz up\" at 10:30 at night coming from a party downstairs the wall are so thin . I also asked the front desk for a iron to be sent to my room i never received it. i went around town wrinkled because i never received the iron.Hallway reeked of weed.

The room was the best part of the hotel, although this hotel was listed as VIP, which should’ve been eligible for certain perks and upgrades we were offered none. We were told we would have to pay for room upgrade. And also were charged for a 1 hour later check out. So I Don’t think this should be listed as a VIP property. The pool is much smaller than it looks in photos and it is not heated.

I'm originally from Nyack, & love the town. Since there are no other hotels in the town -- strangely -- & I don't like the nearest motels, I've stayed at Hotel Nyack twice when visiting.

Sadly, its architecture makes it VERY, very noisy. VERY. Any noise in an adjacent area, hallway or room echoes loudly. In addition, when I booked for the weekend of my 50th high school reunion, (at a nearby venue), no one told me other high schools would be having theirs actually IN the hotel. Consequently, it was \"party central\" in the hotel. I have rarely in my adult life (of traveling the world & staying in MANY places), ever had to bang on the wall at midnight to tell the nextdoor people to turn their music down. AND I banged on the wall because the room phone didn't work!! Literally.

When I arrived initially the front desk gave me a \"goody bag\". Turned out it wasn't for our reunion! (I returned it.)

And then: When I arrived at my room after checking in, the door of my room was ajar. As a woman traveling alone, I called the housekeeping staff right away to check the room over, feeling very uneasy. The staff came to discover that the connecting door to the room next door was also unlocked!!
Honestly, I couldn't believe this all in a Hyatt Hotel.

Sadly, I guess I won't be staying at Hotel Nyack again, nor will I recommend it.

The hotel is nice and rooms a big but they are also really dark. There’s not outlets by the nighttable and the ac unit in our room was so noisy it was difficult to sleep. We called to have someone come to take a look and no one ever showed up. We ended up turning the ac off but the unit continued to make noises the whole night.
