Our room smelled horribly like cigarettes when we got there. We complained to the staff at the front desk. When we were out they sent someone into our room and they sprayed air freshener all over. That was their solution to the problem. It wasn’t the best.

Parking could be better struggled to find a spot. Snow removal from the walk ways was half done or not at all. Hasn't snowed in quite some time. Says there is shuttle service to casino on Travelocity and there is not. Then the lack of water pressure and hot water we didn't even bother getting a shower in the morning. Staff for the most part was nice except for the girl at checkout. We definitely will not be returning to this hotel.

\"Quiet hours\" are BS.
My fiancée and I are in a distance relationship and we don't get to have nice weekends due to mitigating circumstances. We wanted to have a peaceful Valentine's Day together, however there was a large group of guests (had to have been at least three different families in one room, who were slamming doors, yelling, and kids were screaming and crying as well. We called the front desk around 10:15 (quiet hours are 10pm-7am and posted right at the elevator doors) to which we were told that it wouldn't be an issue until after 11:30. Not even 5 minutes after we had called, another guest in a nearby room went and knocked on the door of the disruptive guests who, as soon as the guest left after being apologized to, immediately went back to doing exactly what they were doing and laughed about being complained to for their obnoxious noise.
This is absolutely absurd because couples go to a hotel to spend Valentine's Day in peace. If a guest complains about the noise level after quiet hours, the staff needs to be doing something about it asap. It is very disappointing that this occurred and during checkout, we were not asked how our stay was. If they did, I would not have held back. Charging almost $300 for 2 nights just to deal with this is ridiculous.
Besides this, the water in the shower or bathroom sink did not turn hot, EVER.
The room overall was nice and housekeeping did a great job of cleaning, the only thing getting them 3 stars from me.

The stay was fine, however when I called and spoke to customer service, the guy was very rude and would not help me find my reservation. He said if I can’t find an email then I probably didn’t book it and that he would not help me because itsobvious I don’t have one.then he hung up on me.

The two things that I thought were terrible was there was not a toilet paper holder for the toilet paper and the water came out of the sink faucet as white. Not sure what was wrong with the water, but I wouldn’t drink it.

The beds were fine and the breakfast was adequate. The front desk person for checking in and checking out was very nice and helpful.

We had multiple hairs on the vanity, the extra sheets had small hairs on them, the ice machine was broken, the floor crackled when you walked on it and supplies were non existent on the coffee station in the lobby. Breakfast looked ok but food tasted aweful.

The room was clean, everything was nice, the only thing was not hot water in the shower, the water took forever to get a little warm, I read this issue in the comments and thought the property fixed right away, I would like to stay again but without hot water in the winter is a big issue. Our room was very nice,clean and had nice amenities. The staff was very nice and friendly. The reason for the low overall rating was for 3 reasons. 1. In the two days stay we had no hot water. At one time after running a shower for 15 minutes the water became lukewarm long enough to be able to get showers quickly. Staff told us they’ve been having issues with the water main and thought they had a problem solved. 2. When we were in the room, the TV would go thru 40 channels, but we could only get about six of them to come in with Service. After speaking to the staff, their suggestion was for me to pull the TV away from the wall and jiggle the wires and we should be able to get a few more channels. but they also said that everything depended on the weather conditions which at the time we were getting 4 inches of snow. 3. On the last day of our stay, the housekeeping staff walked in to our room while my wife and I were dressing. The housekeeper said that they had been notified that we checked out. After calling the front desk, they told me that somebody had turned in room cards that showed the same room we were staying in, which was impossible. The front desk said there must’ve been a glitch in the system, but that left us a little bit uneasy. Over the years we’ve stayed in many Holiday Inn & Holiday Inn Express and found all of them very good. Upscale hotels like this should not have these type issues. Hopefully the owner will get these issues corrected.

The newly remodeled rooms were beautiful! The check-in area, food area, hallways. elevators and rooms were very clean and updated with new decor and furniture. All of the food at the breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. The staff was excellent- pleasant and courteous from the check-in desk to the cook at breakfast. Will definitely return for another stay.

Besides the Staff and pricing, I wouldn't stay in this particular location again. The staff were friendly, but the place was extremely dirty. We tried to stay somewhere else but it was too short notice so we cleaned ourselves. The vents blew out dirt so we kept dusting and that's the SECOND room we were moved to.

We walked into the hotel tired, hungry and pretty frazzled by a truck driver on the interstate who tried to run us off the road. But your staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming that we felt better immediately. Our check in was smooth and simple. They pointed us to a nearby restaurant with great food and our room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

This room looked like they divided an actual hotel room in half and stuffed an armoire in it. The room was clean but crowded. We had to ask the staff for towels twice and they were not rude- but not friendly. They seemed annoyed to be bothered. The breakfast selection was great, but each day we had to ask for the coffee machine to be serviced. This hotel is fine, but not a great choice for traveling with small children. Probably will choose a different hotel next time.

First, the property itself is odd. The access road is dark and overgrown. The outside of the property is a mess. I stayed there before a year ago and it was the same situation. A lot of litter and junk piled around outside. The staff is nice and the room is fine. But this place has obviously seen some hard use. They do not seem to be keeping up with the wear and tear of daily use.

Nothing special to write home about by anymeans. Hot tub was not working. Pool was dirty. Once you get on the other floors of the hotel. Theres no air flow or ac in the hallways and once you go to your room for the first time. The ac is off so its hot and muggy until it fianlly cools off.

I had the worst experience at this hotel last night. I had an event with family in PA and needed a place to rest before making the 3 hour drive back to NY the next day. I called the hotel around 9:30pm and informed the front desk that I would be arriving very late. The woman I spoke to said that is fine and we can check in whenever we get in. My husband and I arrived at around 3am and were told our room was canceled because we didn’t confirm. The man at the front desk, Kai, was extremely rude from the beginning and just kept telling us that because there was no note, our room was canceled. There was no trying to see what he could do for us or try to resolved the issue. It was just “yeah, your room was canceled”. I asked him how is the room canceled when I called and spoke to an actual person who confirmed they put a note in my chart? He said I’m supposed to call the hotel twice to confirm. Why should I call twice to confirm when I already spoke to someone? He was very dismissive and he lacked customer care. He said your room was canceled but you’ll be refunded on Monday. At this point, he still did not say let’s see what I can offer you. I said how would I know if I’m going to be refunded? He said I’ll just need to have patience. Hotels do not refund you when you no show. I asked for his first and last name and he says “ now you’re getting too personal. Why would I give you my last name? I don’t have to give you that.” Which is fine but it matters how you talk to people.

Pleasantly surprised! It's been years since I stayed at a holiday inn express and I wasn't sure what to expect. Room was clean and updated. Loved the Keurig! Breakfast was fantastic. Hot cinnamon rolls, pancake machine, etc. There was plenty to choose from each morning. The staff were excellent. Everyone was happy and friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome there and each employee seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. I haven't seen that kind of work ethic and attitude at any hotels recently so it was very refreshing. I will absolutely stay here again.
