The room was disgusting. Dirty linens, food and cigarette butts in the vents of the heater/ac, dirty hairs left under the toilet seat, the chair covered in cigarette burns and looked like years of greasy stains. This was a non refundable rate however I think in this circumstance, Expedia should override the hotel's no refund policy as Expedia is representing this as a clean safe place! The pictures on the website look great! Total misrepresentation!!!😡😡😡Do not stay here! Expedia should remove them from the list of choices. I have photographs of all of this. They let the hotel decide if they wanted to refund me or not! Of course they decided to uphold their strict no refund policy! Ended up paying a more expensive rate about 3 miles away at a clean safe hotel.

This property was absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. Stains on the beds, stains on the walls, webs building up on the corners of the room, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart. Plaster on the ceiling in the bathroom fell the vent in the bathroom blowing hot air the shower was completely stained and poorly fixed. Property completely unkept. Then the man at the front desk wanted to hide in the back office. If i could I'd upload the pictures i took of the place.

The first room we got had dirty white linens, stains of black / burn marks on the sink. The owner was super nice and got us into another room. The other room was cleaner but the white sheets had fuzz and hair on them. The shower curtain had a deep red stain across the entire bottom. The shower walls looked like they had boogers on them. The towels were scratchy and wrinkly, like they had been cramped into a bag for too long. When we requested towels the next day, we waited a couple hours and were handed wrinkly towels with strands of hair and black lint (I hope). I feel like the housekeeping is really lacking. The owner was very nice and accommodating. It is a decently cheap price for what you expect I guess. Definitely get what you paid for.

It’s a big resort kind of scary scary property, rooms were smelly, dirty. Linens and towels you can see stains. Thanks it was just a one night thing. It doesn’t seems to be good for family. they couldn’t offer 2 adjacent room for such a big property and for another room I have to drive 2-3 times.

Check for bed bugs before you get in bed!
The hotel was ok at first glance. The rooms were outdated with plenty wrong.
My issue was I woke up at 3 am to the above guests stomping on the floor. I then found that I had bed bugs crawling all over me. I tried to call the front desk, the phone didn’t work. The phone number on their website didn’t work. I had to get dressed and walk to the lobby to ask for a new room.
Luckily the new room didn’t have bed bugs, but I was thoroughly grossed out and will never return.

Best Budget Motel in Scranton area
Second time staying at this motel while visiting family. Motels in this area are pretty much are all the same but after new management/ownership remodeled and put in the back, honestly my new favorite place to stay. The older man and his son (only guessing not sure if family), are polite, professional, kind, and accommodating! Will be in my top 3 for Wilkesbarre/Scranton area for sure!

The rooms need greatly updated. Not enough lighting. The blankets and bedspreads on both beds had burn holes. We asked for a change of rooms, the beds were the same way. Not just a few holes, tons of holes, even a extra blanket brought in. The rooms were to be nonsmoking, first room had terrible smoking area. Would not recommend to anybody.

When we drove up, we realized wehad stayed there once about 3 years ago. I suspect most rooms are rented weekly and monthly as we got the same room and we were put next to a \"resident\" that someine told us was weird and will complain about our TV. She did. The floor was not swept in a long time, there was even a cigarette but on the floor and in the ash tray when I arrived. This was meant as just a place to get some sleep over a 17hr drive so we werent looking for anything fancy. Exterior looks a bit older and hallways were a bit loud as an old structure but our room was clean. Decent size with table, a couple chairs, good bathroom. It was 2 adults for 1 night so worked for us. Depends on your standards I guess. It was pet friendly so we appreciated that.

Had I not booked a room at this hotel through Expedia which didn't allow refunds, and that everywhere else was booked due to the music festival, I never would have stayed here. After checking in and receiving our room key, upon driving around back to our hotel, the first thing we noticed was that there were stray cats running around the property. Upon getting to our room, the second thing we noted were how thin the walls were. You could hear everything; conversations, fighting (which happened that night and woke us up the next morning), and you could hear when a person sneezed. There were multiple holes in the room walls, both the bathroom sink and the bathtub had hair in it. My girlfriend and I refused to use either; resorting to hand sanitizer after we used the bathroom. There were two beds in the room but the right side bed had stains on the bedsheets. The second night that we stayed here, it got very cold outside so we chose to turn on the heater. Big mistake. Upon turning on the heater, the heater released a bunch of dust into the air which affected our asthma. Mine, worse than her's. I mentioned this to the desk assistant upon checkout and his response was, \"If you were satisfied, please give me a good rating. If I get a promotion, I get to go to the Bahamas.\" The only good thing about this hotel was that it was ten minutes from the festival we were attending and it was next door to a restaurant called Terry's. Terry's was reasonable for food.

Room was okay for a last min decision to stay over night while out riding motorcycles. Room smelled like smoke, Ac unit isn’t the best, cleanliness isn’t the best either. Old dirty take out menus in drawers, drawers had dirt in them, bath room wall and floor dirty, bed cover has burn holes in it and was dirty. Place is under renovation so updated pictures will need to be put online. Building is now blue and not green. None smoking room was once a smoking room and smell faintly lingers in the room. The sheets and blankets were clean however blankets need to be replaced with ones that don't have cigarette burns on them. On the first floor handicap bars should be placed in the bathrooms. The place was priced reasonable and I would not have a problem staying there again if needed. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall the place was clean and met mine and my family needs. It was easy access of and back on 81.

The room was nice and clean. The outside not so much. No towel bar but we could see the brackets where there used to be one. The listing on this site says they have breakfast but they DON’T. Nothing. From the time we stayed the first time and walked up to the counter to the rooms interior, it was nothing but a great experience staying here. We’ve stayed here about 2-3 times now and every time we come in town , we pick here because of its proximity to the local amenities but the room was very clean and cozy. Lots of walking space and a must see bathroom. It really is the definition of don’t judge a book by its cover.

Worst check in ever. I paid online and they couldn't find it when i arrived. Took an hour to figure out after the Hotel clerk accused me of trying to get a free room. Even after i showed my confirmation via text, email and in expedia. I have never been so insulted and disrespected in my life. My daughter and I stayed here on our way to NY because it was the only hotel available in the area, and after driving for 11 hours I was very tired. The office clerk was very hard to understand, the hotel was very nosey you could here people all night. The room smelt extremely bad and the sheets were dirty/Unchanged. My Daughter and I had to share a bed because the one bed had blood stains on the sheets. We had to sleep on top of the covers because the bedding was dirty, pillow cases we dirty. We were unable to shower because the shower was dirty and had hair in it!

Was very disappointed in this hotel. Called to confirm late checkin which was ok’d. Arrived at hotel about 9:30 pm. Was very dark, and looked very run down. Got our key which was on second floor. Stairway very dirty. When we opened the door there were people sleeping in the bed!!! Complained to staff who was in disbelief that anyone was in the room. He took my husband to check it out and indeed room was occupied. Requested a refund but staff was adamant about assigning another room. Given another room Aldo on second floor. Again very dirty stairway and hallway. Room was clearly under construction. Worse hanging from wall, plaster drips on floor, etc. when getting into bed could not sleep in the sheets as there was hair and dirt particles in the bed!

The shower had no water pressure & was very hard to regulate the temperature which was mostly scalding hot. The bed was a marshmallow. There was nowhere to hang clothes, no luggage rack or anywhere to unpack your clothing. We found Bugs all over the room having crawled under the front door. There was no coffee maker in room or complementary in the office area. The bathroom was so small there was nowhere for toiletries or toothbrushes, towels, tissues. The only mirror was in the bathroom, so no where to put on make-up or fix hair. Plus the floors were filthy. Definately the worst motel we've stayed in.

Rooms didn't have place to hang clothes. Construction on premises, alot of construction debris in parking lot, looks like a great place to pick up nails and screws in your tires. Manager was cool guy though, very nice, very eager to make sure stay was good.

Disgusting. I arrived and had booked a non smoking, double room. They wanted to give me a smoking king room with only one bed, but finally settled on a smoking double room. I started check in at 4:32, and didn’t get in my room until 5:25. The guy at the counter had my ID and credit card and WOULD NOT stop talking and telling us his entire life story from the time he was in the UK. After driving 16 hours, you just want to relax. The room was promised to be “just cleaned”, instead I walked in and the TV was on, there was a dirty ashtray in between the beds and the floors were covered in soda and dirt. The people remodeling were using this room as a break area. There was NO smoke detector in the room, but you could see where it used to be on the ceiling. That is extremely illegal in PA, and so dangerous. There was no clock, no phone ($15 extra to have one), and the towels were covered in brown and red stains. It was so gross the entire party didn’t shower in there, and we went to the dollar tree and bought a mop and Lysol so we could clean before sleeping. We even stripped the beds and used our own linens from the car because it was so gross. I never leave reviews, so it has to be pretty terrible for me to do so. Pick anywhere else for your stay, drive the extra 30 minutes and stay somewhere away from Scranton and Moosic. These hotels used to be nice, but the last several years have gone downhill and are pay by the hour type rooms.

Emergency trip to see family. Tried to find decent/affordable since it was spur of the moment. It is in middle of remodel. I think it will be a decent place once that is all finished. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, water was hot. That's about all the good. Front desk guy was pleasant as well. I had to leave in a hurry so didn't pack shampoo or a hair drying thinking the hotel would have it. There was only a bar of soap
