I usually am a lenient person when it comes to reviews but not this time. Firstly on my arrival the key to the room I was staying at was not locking the door. Requested it to be changed and came back couple hours later to find he's given me the same key back saying \"we've fixed it\". He did not as it was the same bent key. Coming out of the elevator on the third floor on the right the tiles had come off and there was supposedly building work to repair them. Throughout my 5 days nothing was repaired. Coming to the room, the general hygiene was okay but I've seen cleaner places. Didn't have a small fridge which was disappointing, air conditioning was good, bed was comfy. I requested an iron and they came to my room with just an iron not an ironing board. Asking how would I iron without the board the gentleman said you can use your desk. That desk is about 60cm long by 30. Also I was smart enough to realise that the iron itself had rust and luckily didn't use it on any of my clothes as it would have stained them. Took it back to reception and told them they're an absolute joke man to be giving me something like this. The staff generally speaking were unprofessional, cold faced and as if they didn't want to be there. Would I recommend? No. You can find somewhere better maybe but if your desperate and on a budget then it's okay I gues.

Too many bad reviews about this property made me scared after booking.

However my stay was very pleasant, the only bad was the hygiene of the shower floor but they give slippers which i wore in there, they offered room service more than 5 times during my stay.

Staff were great and accommodating, and this was definitely worth the price i had booked it for.

Good size convenience store literally next door, salon, barbers, plenty places to eat out and pharmacy as well, hence great location.

Id say book them, but its all quite hit or miss so i dont know if we were just lucky.

The sheets were dirty, there were no towels in the room, and the room did not look anything like the pictures showed. When I asked for clean sheets they brough another set with a bunch of hair on them. They did not smell clean either. I did not take my clothes off so my body would not touch the sheets. It was a horrible hotel. I checked out the next morning but they refused to issue a refund for the remaining nights I had paid for. They referred me to Expedia.

The hotel is in a good area with access to a convenience store, transport, and many places to shop locally.
However, at various times throughout the day and night there would be a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming into the room. It was difficult to work out if it was coming through the ventilation or from the hallway. As non smokers, this was very uncomfortable.
My wife was really looking forward to utilizing the Spa, but it was unfortunately closed during the 6 days we stayed. The receptionist recommended a nearby hotel for the Spa treatment, which was very nice (we were momentarily tempted to switch hotels).
The staff were very responsive to help with any queries we had.
For the price we paid, my overall rating is OK.

This was really a very bad place, dirty and in a bad shape. The pictures on the web I saw were not the room I was in - see my pictures. It took me 3 days to check out and get the remaining balance of what I paid. I should have known when I tried to book and it rejected it until I paid in full.

Great hotel for the price!

At checkin, you're greeted by a staff who will assist carrying suitcases all the way to my room. My room is good though might have some work on with some wallpaper torn ish. You won't get any TV Channels so instead you will get Turkish radio stations just to let future foreign customers know.

The view I don't like because my view has a garage try to make a bit of noise and early hours in the morning but it didn't bother me that much.

Bathroom is clean and modern!

Be warned, you might hear neighbours snoring & crying kids in the night.

I would like to say, thank you to all the amazing staff, all the receptionists including Omar who helped us with every little thing we needed. I have no complaints and they made my stay more than amazing. It wasn’t a holiday, it was a stop over due to the pandemic etc and I had to stop over in Istanbul, the price the staff the location everything was beyond amazing! I have never stayed away alone at all this was my first time spending 2 weeks alone and the staff here made me feel so so welcome I will always remember them in my prayers! The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The air conditioning is very strong and can cool the room in a few minutes. The bathrooms were very clean. I had a small problem with the fridge in my room but it still worked. The staff are friendly and will help you with any issues you might have.

Royal Inci Airport hotel is very comfortable and clean. Close to all shopping staff was friendly and accommodating They made me comfortable at home. Recommend for anyone who need a clean quiet place at a budget price. Travelers should know it’s about 45 minutes drive from the Istanbul airport transfers available from the hotel. If not public transport options are there too according to the hotel staff.

Very clean, good breakfast and excellent customer service. However very noisy as it is located at a busy road where there are some garages. As i stayed over day i have no idea about night time. But over the day couldn’t have a rest, too noisy.
Also although i have received a confirmation email as well as a reminder 4days before my departure when i popped in the receptionist informed me that my booking has been cancelled due to a problem with my credit card. No one had contacted me otherwise we could sort it out. Very frustrating, thanks to the receptionist that he offered me another room. Over all I wouldn’t stay there next time. Thanks.

They are total thieves! My husband and I were on a road trip and booked a night stay through hotels.com when we arrived at the hotel the very rude receptionist informed us that they didn’t have a parking and when I said that we were on a road trip and we needed a parking space he very aggressively said that is your problem bot mine !!!!! How rude and when I asked for a refunded he also refused! In my opinion there is no better way to describe them other than they are complete thieves!!!!!!!

Not only was this hotel horrible but I booked for the wrong night on expedia. I stayed at the hotel and paid additional to book the correct night. The hotel refused to refund my money. Room was dirty, sheets had holes, overall very poor. Would not recommend at all!!!

We were contacted by the hotel and offered airport transportation, with a quote of 20 euros each way. When we arrived at the hotel, they charged us 75 Euros for the round trip - almost double the quote. They said it was because the new airport is further, and I understand that, but I don’t understand how they misquoted it - they should have known the new airport would be open when they quoted it, or should have contacted us again with a new quote.

There were also only 2 bath towels in the room, no hand towels or wash cloths, for a family of 4. We stopped at the desk and asked for 2 more, as well as some drinking water. We were told it would be sent right up, but it never was until the next morning when my husband went down and asked again.

Wasted my money wish i had picked somewhere else birthday ruined . Room pictures are deceiving . Dulux room was not as superior . Contains a hard double mattress and a single. Dingy rooms had to be moved twice, thin walls . No such thing as a city view we were facing a garage , reception explained it just meant facing a side street and there is no direct view of the city. I was so angry and annoyed as i purposely selected the room for that purpose and paid extra . We were not advised the times for breakfast so we missed breakfast the first morning to be told breakfast is served between 7-10am. When we caught it the following day - it was awful !made my other half very unwell . We had to go pharmacy ! Research suggests they provide and arrange excursions! Dont be misled , they do not..receptionist tried to rip us off and charge over £150 euros for a £14 trip and got upset when we refused to take up the offer. Hardly any of the staff spoke English, so it is difficult to communicate . Please ensure you have a translator app. The lifts in the building felt insecure - took a looong time to open - we resorted to the stairs for the entire trip. They are currently building another block next door .. And it is very loud during the day ! The bathroom is decent although we kept running out of toilet roll so my other half brought some from the shop in the end. Attention to detail is needed, I cried so much .. I just can't believe i wasted all of my money on this hotel for my birthday

Staff were very helpful especially Dennis who went out his way and bought us dinner after arriving so late at night. Being our first time visiting staff provided and printed a Map which was very helpful. The Hotel is very clean and not far from Grand Bazaar and Mall of Istanbul for shopping. Comfortable rooms and replacement towels requested for our three days stay. The hotel only provides breakfast which was great, that was fine with us cause we were eating out and enjoying Turkish delights/meals!!! Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

A place for just to wait your flight

A moderate place for just to wait your flight nothing more, the room was clean, staff some of them are friendly, the locatin is good, many loclal shop and restaurants, 8 minutes to the airport, even I was surprised by the fees for hotel shuttle to the airport, they told me they can arrange transportation for us for 40 euro !! Even it was on Uber for 4 euro only!

Hallways were run down and dirty, no bath towels in the bathroom when we checked in, the bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood and the noise from the planes taking off and landing at the airport was constant and low/ no noise construction didn’t make for a restful sleep. The 20€ shuttle was late and the trip only lasted for 15 minutes. So no I will not stay here again or recommend it.

Decent option for the locality

Many taxi drivers have no idea where this hotel is located. The hotel was fine but I have never stayed in a hotel room with no toilet paper before. Besides this, I also had to phone reception for a kettle otherwise the coffee/tea in the room would have been a waste of time. Breakfast was good except for the limited hot options.

Unfortunately, we did not end up staying at this hotel. We had the worst experience with this hotel. I made the reservation for my wife on 8/15/2018 only for her to rest for few hours before her long trip to the State. Upon her arrival to the hotel from the airport at about 6:00am local time they refused to allow her to check in, claiming that her check in time is at 2:00 pm. I tried to explain to them about my wife's situation and how sick she is and I just made a reservation for one night even though her actual stay will be only for 5:00 hours but they didn't care and they reused to cancel or give her refund.

They dont have iron in their hotel for guests.
Breakfast can be made better then what they are serving at the moment.
Internet facility is not so good and keep on disconnecting.
For airport shuttle service they are charging 120 turkish lira which is too much, i took taxi and paid 20 turkish lira instead.

It was my first experience with Istanbul. I found out about the hotel from the internet and chose it because it was closer to the airport. Its a nice small hotel and nicely situated in a market area but not a very busy place. Very clean and compact room. Was a bit smaller but had whatever you need.

Staff very helpful and caring. The breakfast was also full of choices and really nice.

Close to transportation system and 5 minutes walk to the metro.

Only thing was that a plenty of people on the street dont know english, and that was not helpful.

Convenient hotel to IST Airport for overnight stop

I used an UBER to get to/from the hotel and it was very cheap and very convenient. The hotel is very close to the airport and for the price it is good value. The noise from planes is pretty persistent every few minutes until about 11.30pm, so take some very good earplugs. I only stayed one night and was leaving very early so it was fine.

I recently made a trip to Turkey for medical treatment and booked this hotel for my stay.
On my check in, I was met by a lovely guy with a smile on his face and helped me with my bag to my room.
After my medical treatment, I could not do anything for my self as I went alone. The staff were so helpful and always happy to help. They ensured I was ok through out my stay. I want to thank all of them for their hospitality.
