The shower water too weak could bot get a good show in 5 start hotel,The light of the room has only one lighting system; there is no dim or soft lighting optio. The elevator do not work if you dont have the room key if you forget ypu should use the stairs. there was no time to change the room it was only a night. Bad experience

No AC, 34 deg room with only small window opening. Constant fumes from smoking either from outside or through ducting. Staff said it’s time of year but seem to have AC in reception. Area around hotel is run down.

Bonus, cats in reception are was friendly but after 4 days of little sleep couldn’t wait to get home.

Not quite the WoW hotel

Rooms too hot! Air con only works in the summer months. Heating either on or off, no adjustment.
Pillows very uncomfortable, like stuffed sandbags.
Shower not good pressure, just a dribble and fluctuates from hot to cold.

I was extremely happy I was given long check out time.

The security guys would get me a taxi in less than 2 minutes each time I wanted it. They would also help me to explain to them were I was going!

The only thing I didn’t like is that guys could smoke and when out of the lift you here the smell.

Site information aren’t true.

I was in Wow Istanbul with my family for 3 nights.
What we found in the hotel does not correspond to what we saw on the website, for example, there was no kettle, justification from the reception was that we are in the middle of a pandemic,(hot water, coffee, tea, pandemic 🤔)
the decor doesn't match, the room proves to be old and poorly renovated.
The service at reception leaves something to be desired, they respond rudely.
The maids are very helpful.
The internet sucks.
The break fast is very good.
The bistro's food is good, but very few options.
I don’t wanna be back again.

Conservative, old fashioned hotel, which is good and charming. The property is surrounded by security and safety barriers which makes it difficult for guest to go for an interesting walk. Very few commercial retail around this hotel. On the other hand, security is superb.

Air condition doesn't work - hotel turns it off for the whole winter period. The only way to cool down the room is to open a window, BUT... There is a railway station near the hotel and the trains run from early morning till late night with uncomfortable level of noise. In addition to the noise there are moskitos freely flying into the open window... Other than the above everything else is fine. The convenient free parking downstairs, clean rooms, very friendly staff, close to the fair grounds, a couple of restaurants with decent food nearby.

Amazing hotel

This was a wonderful hotel. I chose it at the last minute due to some changes in my airport. I'm glad I chose this hotel. Me and my daughter really enjoyed the beauty and elegance of this hotel and the helpful staff. The breakfast was amazing! I will recommend this hotel to everyone.

Needed a room close to airport

Familly holidays in Turquey. After spending two weeks in Turkey, we needed to fly back home. I needed a place to stay close to the airport and Wow came out as a top recommendation... just a mile away. Problem is with the new IST airport, only Hotels available are much more expensive. This one is 35 km away... not ideal. We woke up at 5 am to get to the airport and it took 30 minutes just to get a cab, looks like paying with a credit card caused the issue. Otherwise, rooms were great and very affordable.

The breakfast not good, not enough cooked food , every day same boring stuff, some of items I didn’t eat at home they served, receptionist lady was very very rude, they charged me 15tr for Pepsi which I didn’t had, there’s big argument at reception they called me lair for 15tr. They hold £100.00 deposit cash from day one. Lake of understand of English speaking or understand. It was worse experience staying in WoW Istanbul Hotel.

Reception cheated us, bedsheets didn’t changed!

so Unprofessional service! Hotel doesn’t even reach to 2 stars! Plus bad location! Un friendly staff of course! Reception people try to cheat us! They charge for internet! Bedsheets and towels are looked use and not washed! Room Smell was awful! Don’t believe on pictures to book this hotel! Never suggest to anyone! Look for other hotels with same price!

Everything about WOW hotel was amazing and outstanding, we enjoyed our stay, the train station was just within the hotel, which made it for us to commute to places. Negativeness on my stay.

First of all, I stayed in execute room. As it is written and promised on information sheet in the room, there was no fruit basket on arrival. The thing is I am not booking a room for a fruit basket which is something very cheap but since they offer and include their services for room price, so as a customer I am just expecting what they offer which is fair.
Secondly, air condition was not working properly. It was blowing hot air. I gave a call to reception, they offered me to change my room. I accepted, it was changed but the new one also was very hot. A/C was blowing hot air because of centralized A/C. They send a technician to unlock the window in the room to able to open it wide open. But It was still insufficient to ventilate the room. Because of hot and humid air inside, my sleep was interrupted and I woke up a couple of times during my sleep. It was uncomfortable stay.

The place was very clean and it was a great place to stay aside from the staff.

The staff I dealt with were unfriendly and shuttle service was not provided even though it is advertised. At checkin, the staff asked me repeatedly if I had the correct hotel and whether I wasn’t looking for the hotel down the street which was significantly cheaper. When ordering room service, we were given the wrong meal. These kind of mistakes happen but when it comes to them happening consistently, it is disappointing.

In addition, being a foreigner is not the best when a hotel company promises to pick you up from the airport but then don’t come when you call them that you have arrived. They stated the shuttle service will not be coming and it was not longer an option. A reimbursement of the cost of getting to the hotel or a refund for this service would have been nice as the hotel was an hour away from the airport.

I've stayed here several times because it was so close to IST airport, but with the new international airport opening on 6 April 2019, I doubt I'll be back just because the location will no longer be convenient for me. Shame for this hotel, it's always been reliable

property was ok just at the end checking out i felt i have paid more money than i should,bill was 112 euro,at the checking first time i have paid 150 i would get my change back when checking out,i offered to give 2 euro in order to get 40, they said they don't accept coins,so they gave me 40 back and they ask me to give 36 lira. 2 euro is not worth 36 lira !!! for my extras i have paid 90 lira other than my room price,so basicly what i shout pay is 112 euro for the two days stay, 2 bottle water x 6 =12 1x15 ice tea and 1 breakfast total 90 lira, diffrence of two euro i paid 36 lira. people are not stupid,non of this money is matter for me but your guest do realize what's going on,

Great for CNR Expo Centre

I was attending a trade show at the very close by CNR Expo centre, so the hotel is in the perfect spot, with just a 10 min walk. However, the area itself is rundown, pretty crappy, with little immediate choice for food, etc. The hotel itself is fine, perhaps showing its age a little around the edges. Breakfast is decent, with a good buffet selection and omelette station. The new bar is a welcome addition. Overall, fine for attending trade shows and pretty decent value.

We went for a drink at the bar, I ordered a gin and tonic and my friend ordered a vodka martini.
They didn’t know how to make either one, not challenging drinks. Was short pours, almost no ice and no lime in the gin and tonic.
For the martini, she just put a short pour of vodka in a tall glass, not even an olive!!
The room was excessively hot and the air conditioning didn’t work. Made it difficult to sleep.

Actually, I stayed at Wow airport because the two hotels are close and the taxi driver went to the 4 stars unity. When I get there there was a very long line and after a long wait in the line I found out the hotel was wrong (and it was awful)

The location is great for overlay staying. 8 min from airport by taxi. Staff are friendly, speak some english. It was easy to communicate. Breakfast was amazing! The variety and quality of food is EXCELLENT by the highest world standards. Though, be careful using coffee cups in their rooms, and check on toilet seat condition before using those. I found one clean cup and one used one with lipstick and coffee residue on it. I also had to wipe some funny spots from the toilet seat. Could be cleaner or... not. House keeping is sloppy.

Hotel restaurant and wifi are not up to the standard of the hotel. The food (chicken meat) we have (dinner) at the restaurant are surprisingly only halfdone, so disappointed. The room free wifi is really suck, to get more stable wifi, you have to pay Euro 6/day..

Claims to be 5 star but its actually nearer 3.5 star. Old rooms showing signs of wear and tear particularly the bathrooms which look pretty shabby. The gym is OK - again a bit dated equipment but no water dispenser - really 5 star??? Wifi painfully slow unless you want to pay to upgrade. Breakfast was average - quality not great. All in all disappointing but it was cheap. On the plus side very close to the airport with reliable free transfer. My advice is rate this as 3.5 star and you wont be disappointed.

\"She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid.\" If you have a layover <24 hours, this is the place for you. Location is close to the airport, but you are about a 30 minute drive from the city center.
