Breakfast was awful. Left over food from previous day, food cold, some of the cheeses was spoiled, coffee machine constantly breaking down, soup cold, same food everyday. Rude and unfriendly staff. I had to Change my first room because shower had mold non smoking room stench from cigarette smoke. The only good thing was the location. Over advertised. Nothing like they advertised.

Hotel looks modern and pretty. Staff is attentive and polite. However there was a terrible smell coming from the toilet. I was told this is a piping issue and always happens when it rains. The smell was so bad I struggled sleeping. Then major issues with food.. breakfast looked so colourful with so much variety, yet there wasnt a single item that tasted okay, including coffee from the machine. Im terribly shocked at how bad everything tasted. Finally i had to order dinner from the restaurant; just a lentil soup with mixed toast. The soup was so awful, I only could have two spoons and now have stomach ache - I am not one to ever easily complain about food, or write bad reviews. However this was so beyond terrible - possibly ready soup that gone off? plus 8 pieces of bread with almost nothing inside.. that I got furious and writing these lines despite my stomach ache. Considering canceling tomorrow's stay here even though i booked non-refundable. Finally, their gym is a joke. Never coming back.

Old hotel and very unfriendly service.

This is an old hotel. The staff was not atentive or receptive to any of our needs.
The girls at breakfast were actually looking at the cell phone and talking amongst themselves. The breakfast was extensive but some of the basics like the fruits and eggs were empty and they had no even asked to replenish.
There was noise as you could hear a truck right next to the hotel for a long time. Very esrly they were construction workers repairing rhe street.

Cleanliness was not up to scratch. Was only allowed 1 toilet roll for my room, if the cleaner left 2 rolls upon my request it would be gone if I left my room. I paid for 9 days of breakfast for 2 of us and only ate it once at the hotel as it’s a very poor selection especially for the price! I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is clean and convenient for Ataturk airport.

However, the rooms reek of smoke. I asked for a non smoking room which made no difference.

The towels in the bathroom are ridiculously small. You need bath and hand towels.

The reception was indifferent I didn’t feel particularly welcome and the following morning they arranged a taxi which went to the wrong destination.

I will come back here on my next trip to Istanbul.

The room was basic. I was located on the last 5th floor with no access to terrace and it was where the air-con bodies were located outside, which was not very pleasing.
The ceiling had dried out yellow spots throughout from prior leakages.
Otherwise the room and bathroom were clean.

The frustrating thing was that I asked for a late check out, as my airport transfer was not until 6pm, and was asked to pay half day rate. I paid and was told that I could keep the room until about 5-5.30pm. However, on the day 10mins to 5pm I got a call from reception that I need to make sure I vacate at 5pm sharp. Five hours late check out was certainly not worth half a day pay!!

Overall, the hotel does not live up to its 4* and the staff including most reception struggle with English.

Was there for 2 nights on business and hotel was totally fine for a quick trip. Hotel is small but comfortable and in good condition. Restaurant has decent options and if your friendly to the staff, they are very friendly back. However, if you have an attitude don’t expect staff to respect you.

The location for us was very convenient. The check in was fast, even super fast. The Staff at the Hotel were always courteous, professional and helpful during our stay, always greeting us with good mornings, good evenings, and beautiful smiles. Ideal place to stay in Istanbul

I loved this place NOT a good choice if you have mobility issues as there is no lift and it is a bit of a labyrinth. There are cats at the property which I enjoyed. The staff is amazing, fluent in English and the place is charming and in wonderful location

Bad customer service. Hotel is very far away from the new airport but at the time when I booked they had advertised that they were just 4 km from airport which happened to be Attaturk where commercial flights no later longer operate from. I complained that it was incorrectly advertised and hotels.com tried to get a refund for me but they refused to refund. So there I was with a hotel that had falsely advertised and hotels con who don't have a clue what is going on as they don't validate any information. So I'm not longer booking through hotels com and Rox hotel is welcome to the money as I did not stay there booked another hotel within east access of airport. Rox hotel wrote the most unprofessional personal email to me. Shocking.

I would like a full refund please.

The Hotel was sold to me as next to the new international airport in Ataturk 0.8 Km away however, it is actually 46 Km away 1 Hr drive . I did not even attempt to arrive at the hotel due to the travel times involved never mind the cost.

FRAUD ALERT. This hotel is nowhere near the IST airport and there is no shuttle. You are about an hour taxi ride away. Could be longer with traffic. It is near the old SAW airport. Figure 40 euro taxi.

Very disappointed!!

The staff was extremely unfriendly, rude and unaccomodating. I had a very positive opinion of Turkey until I visited this hotel. Importantly, it is falsely advertised that this hotel is an airport hotel to IST. In fact, it is located about 30-45 minutes away from the airport, and my family had extra travel expenditures due to his misrepresentation.

I booked this hotel based on a recommendation from a colleague. I requested a transfer with my booking and no one called or emailed me back to arrange this. I called the morning before check in and asked to have a transfer from the airport and was transferred back and forth between the same people before being hung up on with no answer. I then called back and was yet again transferred between the same people. They then told me that the reservations for today were closed. I tried to explain that I already had a reservation for the night and I was due to check in soon. They then told me “sorry we close reservations today” and hung up on me.
I didn’t try to call back and I booked a different hotel.
The staff did not care about my reservation and they did not want to help me with my booking or transfer. They were rude and overall it was a terrible experience that I would not wish anyone to have.

Kind staff, apparently brand new hotel

The hotel feels almost brand new. Check in was very quick and I was grateful to be shown to my room as soon as possible (it was 3 am when I arrived). The room itself was well-appointed and had the usual amenities. The bathroom was very new and clean, and had all the expected conveniences. Everything worked as expected although the drainage in the shower area was a bit slow and some water did pool up, although it didn't overflow.

It was a short stay of one night but the hotel front desk staff was very helpful when my ride back to the new airport didn't show up. I was cheated by a tour company with whom I had booked a return airport transfer the night before. I had booked the Rox Hotel in March still expecting to land at the former Attaturk Airport... In any case, the tour company never came back despite the kind staff at Rox Hotel trying to call the contact person and looking up the tour company's website, which didn't exist... In the end, he called a local cab to take me back to the new airport for my flight home.

We booked hotel assuming we have an easy access to CNR expo center. On the website it was promised 5 min walk to CNR , but walking was not possible over a bust highway, instead we had to take a taxi !

The location is very close to Ataturk Airport and perfect for overnight stays if you have a connecting flight next day. (Keep in mind that the new Istanbul airport will be opening and all international flights will be moving to there in a couple of months) Otherwise, the hotel is clean and new. The staff is friendly.

It started even before going to the actual hotel.
On the Expedia website it says they offer a shuttle bus to/from the airport.
After booking, I received an email from their sales manager. I replied and asked for the shuttle bus - I never heard back.
On the airport there's an actual booth for Expedia bookings. The staff there called the hotel and after waiting about half an hour on the phone, someone was finally kind enough to pick up and say I don't have a booking for the shuttle bus and that I can't really book one on the spot.
Had to take an airport taxi (USD 20-30) to the hotel, which is not really that close.
The room was quite disappointing.
The aircon remote was missing it's back so batteries could freely fall out of it.
The shower gel pack was empty. There was really nothing else but soap on the sink.
Room service food was OK but quite expensive for what you get.
