The hotel staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are clean. The area is a bit far from the touristic centre however it is within minutes by taxi to few shopping malls, marina and the sea. You can take a taxi or a tram bus followed by a tram to the centre. The metro station also takes you direct to Istanbul airport within 20-25 minutes.
If you want to try the traditional food and shop where the locals shop then this is a brilliant place to be. The food offered in nearby market was great with many options at very affordable prices. The shops were significantly cheaper probably half the price you would get downtown.

This is the second time we were supposed to stay in this hotel. But when we checked in they told us to go to their sister hotel (tempo airport). The front desk staff was very rude in the airport hotel. He treated us as if we are a burden on him not guests to the hotel (although we did ask for nothing)… he didn’t even say hi back. Very interesting experience and opposite to our last one

Overnight at airport

The hotel was clean and comfortable easy journey to the airport by taxi. The staff were most unhelpful with any questions that we asked. The local area was noisy and very rundown we found a cafe to eat but there were no restaurants. Ask for a room at the back the street was very noisy. The air conditioning didn't work.

Amazing value!

My friend and I stayed here for one night as we had to overnight in Istanbul for our connecting flight. Very clean, modern furnished hotel, with free working wi-fi, comfortable beds, food options, and location is perfect. Next to metro to head back to airport or further into the city, and plenty of restaurants, cafes all around. Would definitely stay again!

Great hotel, helpful staff and clean rooms.

Great hotel! Staff was super friendly and very helpful with everything. Family friendly, clean and quiet. Since we were unfamiliar with the language, they happily helped us from getting the taxi, giving guests free umbrellas when it snowed and poured rain, to ordering pizza for us and making sure our stay was comfortable. The free Turkish style breakfast was also a nice addition. We would definitely go back.

Fine,short stay hotel




After the move from the Ataturk Airport to the new Istanbul Airport was delayed, we stayed at this hotel for 1 night. It is about 2.5-3 miles from the old airport (About $5 taxi ride) on a busy street. Be careful, there is another Tempo Hotel (Airport Suites) only about 30 meters from this one.
Our twin bed room, including the breakfast costed only $71.The room was comfortable and clean. Buffet breakfast was very good.Service at the front desk and the restaurant was good. Many restaurants nearby.

I stayed at the Tempo Fair Suites during a longish layover in Istanbul.
It’s just 3 stops on the Metro from Ataturk Airport and a 10 minute walk from the station. The men at reception were super friendly. My room was bright, stylish and comfortable. My rate came with free breakfast in the adjoining restaurant, a convenient perk. The neighborhood is not as glitzy as Sultanahmet but it’s a convenient launch pad for Istanbul sight seeing for those staying longer.

I think overall experience is good, location is good (10 mins to Ataturk International airport), room is clean, staff are friendly , but my only complaint was the comfortableness of the room, the air condition is sooo weak and pearly making any cold air, when calling the staff they said it is what it is and they can't change it

I needed a close by hotel next to ATATurk Airport for our next day flight to LA. Location is very convenient, literally 5 minutes away from the airport. The hotel staff was very helpful, they guided our taxi driver to their location and was very welcoming! They handed us cold battle of water right upon arrival. Which I thought was very thoughtful. We got amazing Specious room, clean, modern with 2 bathrooms! The only thing that wasn’t ok is the noise. You could hear bathroom shower noises, which was very loud, and next door baby wasn’t happy :(, so we had hard time falling asleep with the background noise. Other than that the place was very nice. We don’t like airplane food so having breakfast included was a plus. I will recommend this hotel, and hopefully you won’t get noisy neighbors though:)

Hotel was lovely.Very close to underground.You Can found any shops,banks,hospitals etc in walking distance.Breakfast was excellent,girl waitresses in breakfast bar are really kind and helpful.Variable selection of food which I didnot expect for this money. Reception was always helpful.Boys Yasin and Hasan and all other staff helped me a lot.Clean rooms,helpful staff and nice breakfast! Five stars

Good hotel in general with terrible experince this time as all my stay the elevator is out of order so i have to go up and down on stairs and this cause a lot of problems specially with lifting by bages up and down all the stairs

Wonderful stay! Staff is nice, room was very clean and spacious. In walking distance to metro station, close to the airport. Unfortunately, I stayed on a cold day in January and my room was very hot and reception told me that it wasn't possible to change the temperature due to the central heating system. So, I had to sleep with my window open, there was a lot of traffic noise.

Nice hotel but not easy to find for the first time

I think next time will be fine because I know the way better than the taxi driver, from the airport to the hotel only 5 mint drive and cost 17 Lyra but the crazy driver took 45 mints to find the hotel and charge me 50 Lyra !! Very bad driver!!!

Excellent value for money and easy to find -- walking distance from Atakoy metro station (which is 3 or 4 stations from Ataturk Airport.)

I had a street-facing room (201) and was worried about street noise but the windows were sound-proofed. Wifi connection was fine. The breakfast was, as expected, great.

The room was fine -- amusingly decorated, spacious, tea-bar, cable TV. A great option for a one-night layover but also a good choice for longer stay.

Unexpectedly awesome hotel

I was looking for an affordable overnight room near the airport but also near some shops for some final shopping. I didn't expect much, but honestly, this was nicer than many 4.5 star hotels I have stayed at. The design is amazing and the room has careful details and touches that are beautiful. The location is only 10 minutes from the airport and close to two very busy shopping streets with everything you need close-by. It is a safe area and about 5-8 minutes walking to the metro. I was pleasantly surprised. I just wish the AC was turned on. It was working, but apparently it is central air, so either they turn the hotel on or off, not room by room. Some guests wanted it on and others wanted it off, so they kept it off. Keep that in mind given the weather.

fantastic hotel.

i just loved this hotel located 15 minutes from the Ataturk airport. it is located in a popular busy area but it did not matter to me because the room itself was great, spacious, with all comforts. they even left a large bottle of water, coffee machine, several towels, all this at a very affordable price.
i recommend this hotel to everybody because of the value and cleanliness. the staff is nice and helpful.
i wish they were located in a quieter area because of the traffic! but it wasn't too much of a problem for me; as a matter of fact, you are in the middle of everything from restaurants, pharmacies, etc...
I will definitely come back to this hotel whenever I visit Istanbul again.
I give this hotel 5 stars.

It was not our first time at the hotel, the room was clean and the hotel was clean. We asked for breakfast for 6:30 am on a normal day but they did not gives us. We had to leave to the airport without food and the children were hungry.

Great jumping off point coming or going

Quick stop on the way to the airport. I loved the neighborhood but be warned this is not your average near the airport hangout. Arrived at 10 pm on the Metro and the place was crawling with folks - street vendors, pedestrians. Hotel is a couple of blocks off the main action nad found a very fine kabob place around the corner.

Better than expected!

This is a very nice , clean and affordable hotel. My room was large and bright. I did not hear any noise. It is close to some restaurants and other stores. Public transportation is available within a short walking distance.I wish each room had an alarm clock.

Within 10 minute drive from airport

I have taken a taxi from the airport, and taking maximum 7 minutes. Room has good space for staying, easy access for Wifi, very convenient for transit.

From the start of my trip, the hotel was overall extraordinary. They started by giving me a great discount on my taxi service from the airport. They welcomed me and showed 100% care. The room was very nice and comfortable. Amazing food and markets just blocks from thus location. I will definitely return when i come back to Istanbul.

Best Hotel for Ataturk Airport, Istanbul, Turkey

+ If you need to spend a night before or after a flight from Ataturk Airport in Istanbul this hotel is absolutely perfect. By far the cheapest hotel we could online that was close to the airport. We were not sure quite what to expect (we had some good and bad rooms elsewhere in the country in the same price range) but this hotel far exceeded ALL of our expectations. The staff was amazing, the room was large with a gorgeous bathroom, the bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was great. AND it was a US$5.00 cab ride to the airport in the morning. Just make sure you have a map of the location to show your taxi driver.

Turkish Delight!

In a 5 week trip, covering 8 countries on 3 continents, this has to be the best overall value on my trip. The staff, amenities and room were excellent. The room was very well appointed, clean and either new or recently renovated. The bathroom was totally stocked with the usual items, plus a travel toiletry kit, a shoeshine brush, loofa mitt, and bedroom slippers. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of hot and cold international food choices.

This hotel is great! I am really glad I booked it. I needed a hotel in Istanbul for one night that was close to the airport. This was in the list of hotels and I picked it. I wish I would have stayed here my entire time in Turkey. Great location but hard to find (as anything is in Istanbul because it is Istanbul :) ). Great place to stay if you are not familiar with the area.

The room was big and had a great atmosphere. Great shower and clean room. There is a English speaking staff who is wonderful. They called me a cab in the morning, arranged for a wake up call and helped me with my luggage. Near the hotel there are restaurants, nargile (shisha/waterpipe) cafes, shops, pharmacies (you will see ECZANE which is Turkish for pharmacy), schools and residential places which makes it a great diverse area to be in. The breakfast is also exceptional. It is your typical Turkish breakfast accommodating all diets, but what made this one so great was that there were french fries available for breakfast! There is a wide range of cereal and were scrambled eggs which I have not seen much of in the Istanbul hotels that I have stayed in. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel near the airport

I stayed here the night before my flight because I wanted to be close to Ataturk airport. The area was surprisingly busy and lively, felt very safe. The hotel itself is sleek and comfortable. I would recommend it for sure if you want somewhere to stay near the airport. No commentary on this hotel if you're trying to see the sights in the city though.

Great airport hotel in interesting neighborhood!

Looked specifically for an airport hotel in an interesting area to explore & enjoy between flights. Tempo Fair Suites was fantastic!!! Hotel was clean & comfortable with a fun/artsy design, staff was attentive, nice breakfast included. Wonderful shopping district beginning 2 blocks down the street with tons of restaurants and shops. (At bottom of street, turn left to get to pedestrian shopping area and metro station.) Streets were decorated for the holidays so looked lovely. Wish we had more time to spend there! Would definitely go back.

Cool little hotel close to the airport

The hotel was nice and the staff was incredibly helpful and nice. They allowed me to change rooms 3 times, just because I wanted a different theme! The proximity to the airport is perfect, about a 10 minute drive (12TL). The facilities were nice. I love that the breakfast was turkish style and had lots of options.

Everything was perfect from check in to checkout!

We chose it for its proximity to the airport on an overnight stay in Istanbul after spending a week in the city and I honestly think I would have enjoyed staying here the entire time. They even prepared a nice breakfast which was already waiting for us at 4:30am and the cab we ordered for 5am was right on time. All in all an excellent stay. I would definitely recommend it for short and extended stays.

If you do NOT need Internet, it is excellent

I liked everything about this hotel EXCEPT for the problems with the Internet connection. Unfortunately, it was/is crucial for my work. I called the front desk and was told that they would investigate it, but nothing changed. Otherwise, I really liked this hotel, and would love to stay there again, but probably won't, because the internet is too important for me.

Great overnight option
