Great place to stay, The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet was wonderful, WiFi was very fast and the location is very convenient, on site parking plenty and easy. Lots of good shopping and restaurants nearby we will definitely stay there again. Special thanks the reception desk staff at check out who help us with weighting our luggage before heading to the Airport it helped us avoid over weight penalties at check in for our flight.

The property was nice the buffet options could be a little more western friendly the only thing I really ate was toast and a pastry for my paid breakfast
Same for the dinner menu could be a bit more extensive for a Hilton hotel

I can't emphasize enough how much this hotel needs overall improvement. If it’s part of Hilton, I would expect most of the staff to speak English. However, the front desk staff clearly need more training, particularly in their language skills.

I stayed here in early May for 10 nights, the hotel was beautiful and the breakfast was great. The customer service is excellent, if the staff cannot understand you use Google translate. The hotel is far from the city centre, I used Uber for taxis and I never had a problem, I didn't know Uber worked in Turkey. The grounds are nice and there is 24 hour security, and also, a pool and gym. The restaurant food is brilliant, I recommend the Margherita pizza. You can't wash your clothes for a cheap price or you can get the hotel to do it for you. The coffee and tea is delicious and the view from the room is something else.

On the day of checkout, staff refused to help me get my suitcase down to the lobby, despite them knowing I had just had surgery.

The staff was rude, I was in an international video call and one of the front desk guys asked to low my voice that they were trying to talk between them . I didn’t liked his tone of voice , it was rude , they don’t qualify for that job since they don’t have manners .
That was my first impresión .
Also the shower towels they need to buy new ones, the ones they are using are very old and deteriorated.
The air conditioner was too hot, we reported it but they never showed. We slept with the windows open due we couldn’t stand the the temperatures.

While the hotel presented a pleasant and well-maintained environment with a friendly staff, it may not be the ideal choice for tourists or families. Situated in a somewhat secluded location, I observed that both local residents and fellow hotel guests did not exhibit a welcoming attitude towards foreigners. Consequently, I have decided not to consider staying here in the future.

Customer service really is 5 stars from all the staff unfortunatley this time the room was very hot 🔥 even with heating off and window open didnt have goodnight sleep even though the staff was great my guess is because i stayed on 19 floor and the heat goes up in the building wouldnt really blame the hotel its middle of winter so aircon wasnt on wverything else was spot on.

Best Hotel in the Area

We’ve stayed two times at the Hilton Garden Inn while in Istanbul and it has been the cleanest Hotel we have stayed in the area. The front receptionists Ruya and Tulay were AMAZING! These two young ladies are some of the kindest and most generous I’ve seen so far on our 1 month trip to Turkey. We’ve been to many other hotels but no one was generous and helpful like these two ladies. Keep up the good work girls! Our housekeeper Kursat was wonderful and very helpful. Very generous man and takes care of any of your needs and room. Some other hotels have a bad smell to the room but there was no smell in these rooms. Great views on the upper 20th and 21st floors we stayed in. Currently, construction going on at the front so recommend booking at the back of the hotel until that building is complete. The only problem was it is a bit far from the city centre and the main attractions of Istanbul which can be a 20-30 min taxi ride. Also, wi-fi was not that great and got really slow during the night but called the front desk and they were able to fix it. There is some walking distance restaurants nearby which was great.

The rooms are old, the furniture needs to be clean, the floor carpets also old, the pillows were smelly I had to ask to replace the pillows.
Over all the staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, except the haws-keeping needs to learn haw to give a privacy to there Guests.

I had wonderful stay at the Hilton Hilton Garden Inn Istanbul Airport. Starting with the staff, they were the most welcoming and caring people I have met recently in an hotel. Wonderful service , The facility was well prepared and ready for COVID-19. Sanitizer gels everywhere, tissues to use for elevator buttons, careful set up in the dining area with the right spacing of the tables. Attention ce pas l'aéroport International

Attention, le nom de l'hôtel est trompeur et porte à confusion, le nouvel aèroport d'Istambul '' IST'' se situe à 50 km de cet hôtel, arrivé de nuit, nous pensions à juste titre avoir réservé a proximité de l'aéroport IST d ou nous devions redécoller le lendemain de bonheur...??
Or l'ancien aéroport ''Ataturk'' qui n'accueil plus que les cargos et les vols privés est situé a 8,5 km mais le nom : Hilton Garden Inn Istambul, est trompeur, d'ou une note de taxi Aller Retour de 2 x 250 TRY (soit 40,00 Euros X 2 = 80,00 euros) +temps de transport, fatigue et prix abusifs des taxis.
Par ailleurs accueil, personnels, service, inexistant, hôtel vieillissant ,
non entretenu, moquettes tachées, nous avons cherchés le '' Garden'' ??? seul le nom de ''Hilton'' et pour être juste hônnète et juste un très bon PDJ.sont exact.
je pense urgent pour éviter au futur voyageurs tous les déboires que nous avons subit, c'est de clarifier le nom de l'hotel soit de rajouter ''Ataturk,'' soit de retirer ''Airport''

I requested extra towels over the phone, in person twice, never got them. Finally they gave it to me after complaining and insisted to stay in lobby till I get it. Curtains were hanging loose because the railing was broke, curtains looks like never pressed they were crumbled and look like ghetto. Hallway carpet needs to be replaced or steam cleaned. Too many people at the buffet, way over crowded, I guess due to holiday.

Overall everything was good. Unfortunately when I booked it was advertised on hotels.com as offering free airport shuttle. This was not the case as there was a charge of €10 plus tax each way. They said it was a mistake and they would amend it. Despite me asking and hotels.com to honour what they had advertised they refused.

Hotel was nice as you entered. The conditions of the rooms is lower than a 4 star hotel i thought. The bathroom shower was blocked which collected water and had to take a brief shower as it would have overflowed. We got a guy to come and fic the plughole after which every time we took a shower it smelled of sewage. The room also had two different sized pillows. We had to request twice before we got a normal soft pillow.

First off, it isn't even close to the airport, it is a good 35 minutes away. Second, the airport shuttle runs for a very limited time. Not only was it not available at my pick up time, but it wasn't available at my from off time
I have stayed at a lot of Garden Inns, but this was a disappointment. Very misleading and not worth the cab fare

Internet speeds were ridiculously slow. I don't understand in this day and age a brand name like Hilton can be OK with this. When I asked the reception they said maybe it was because the hotel was full. Internet service should have been picked with the consideration that the hotel can be full occasionally. The fuller the hotel the more the complaints would be on this matter.

This property was not Hilton’s best. It needs renovations and the property needs to be kept up, meaning the rooms. There is no water pressure and the rooms are very hot and stuffy. There are many better hotels in the area to choose from.
Staff doesn’t speak or understand English, so it will be hard to communicate

Ilk girdigimiz oda malesef temizlenmemisti, banyo ve yatakta kıllar vardı. Özür dileyip odamızı değiştirdiler hemen ancak yeni oda da banyoda temizlik bezi unutulmuş nevresimler yırtık ve havalandırma çalışmamaktaydı. Havalandırma ile ilgili resepsiyonu 3 kere aramamıza ragmen hiçbir geri dönüş olmadı, oda buz gibiydi. Dinlenemedik hayal kırıklığı oldu.

At middle night the person in the next room start to smoke and because mi room has a door conect to that room the smell start to invade my room and was necessary open the window the rest of the night with the adicional problems, cold and noise of the takeoff airplanes.

Avoid at all cost - or ruin your holiday

Avoid this hotel at all cost. The experience will spoil your holiday. What can I say?! The horror started before arriving and remained throughout our stay. Sent emails informing them were due early in the morning and so booked an extra night. No reply. Arrived to find they'd given our room to someone else. Had to wait after travelling all night - unacceptable!

Hotel manager yakub was rubbish. He needs sacking replacing. No care

Stay was full of issues. Room cards only work once. Had to trek down numerous times a day from 32nd floor to have them reset.

Breakfast is slow. Chefs are ignorant. Randomly decide they want to stop serving breakfast telling us the food is finished (lie!)

If you ever ask for anything, it will never come. Pride themselves with Hilton Garden Inn promise posters displayed everywhere but don't fulfil promises! After all the complaining and international emails they decided to leave us a fruit platter, half a case of bottled water and some tea the night before our departure - 6 nights later.

Hilton International customer care is rubbish too. Emailed them during our stay to complain. Nothing was done. Had to badger them for a whole 2 months after the event to seek a solution. Unresponsive. Shoved from pillar to post by hotel management. They said complain to hotels.com who said complain to Hilton.

Hotels.com were useless too. Unacceptable and inadequate customer care.

Reserved two rooms, one was not ready \"as usual\" so had to get rooms in different floors. Staff are awful!!!
I called the hotel to speak to my roommate - the receptionist asked if there was a problem me wanting to speak to them and asked WHY? I was in total shock. I told them there is no problem, I would like to speak to my roommate, so eventually after going back and forth (them knowing little English and working in Hilton is not a plus either.) I got connected.

I had a visitor who was visiting me for 5minutes to drop something off - they asked me to pay 50TL !!!! I argued at the checkout and they took it off. this is awful service!!!

Room menu is EXTREMELY expensive and rubbish quality. I once wanted to order a Caesar salad and they me to wait 30minutes for it to get ready .. LOL also, the telephone says connect to room service which never answers however if you call the reception and they put you through it gets answered !!!

I was at the 20th floor facing the city view, with airplanes crossing often so it would be noisy. the other room was at 17th floor and facing an awful demolished building view.

I would not recommend this hotel.

The aircondition in the room was not working. I requested them but still could not do anything about it. there must be many more guests who must have faced the same problem, but didnt complain. So the percentage of AC not working is more than whats complained. you can easily find similar price for 5* hotels nearby. Dont go for this 4* property due to its name.

The shuttle service was listed as 24 hrs, but when we called they said only limited times per day and we have to wait for several hours for the next shuttle, the air condition in the room was not working, we called the front desk to send some one to take a look at it, no one shoed up, we had to sleep without an air condition.
