i had a room 1202 the room was nice we checked in next day at 8am the room was cool as the windows were open but as the day went it got hotter so turned the air on but did not work so called the front desk and noone came to repair for a long time . Finally the someone came and did something and aid it is fixed but it was not . I had booked this for 3 nights . one with Expedia and other with a tour company .finally at ( pm asked to change my room which i went to see before moving to make sure the the A/C works and i did so i agreed when i went to the room it was already occupied . So they gave me another room again with no air . So please check your room before you move .

Its an OK property that obviously caters for group bookings
There were about 80 people to check in, and with 5 staff behind the counter, only one person was checked in at a time. Torturous!
I had several mornings with no hot water.
Not all the facilities are working. The shower area next to sauna has been disabled
The toaster at breakfast broke down, and wasnt replaced for 3 days
There is not enough elevator capacty in B block, so wait times can be high. Staff will allow use of the service lift when very busy.
Its not a bad hotel, just a 3 star. It could be better.

I found a bed bug in my bed. Which shocked me. An my Air Condition never got cold.. my room was always warm an most of the female workers at lobby were not that friendly.. the men were great!

Beautiful hotel!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were all very pleasant and professional. Our room was on a corner with huge windows on both walls, the bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were very clean. A plate of fruit and half a dozen water bottles were provided in the room. Very nice stay and I would be happy to return if I'm back in Istanbul.

POSITIVE: -The room was fine, nice view and clean.
-Breakfast was good and plenty of choices.
-Valet parking is available but be aware, when we asked for our car, the brought us a different one!! :0. Wondering what if, they gave away our car to someone else, scary.
-Location is far from the main tourist places, but the metro station was 3 minutes away at the back of the hotel and enjoyed the experience of public transportation.
NEGATIVE:
-We \"dared\" to ask for help on a phone call from a waiter in the breakfast room, and immediately he was surrounded by his colleagues and called out by his manager, because \"he was not allowed to speak on the phone...\" C'mon he was helping us. Cheers to the waiter that went above and beyond to help us.

Staff was fine, but they are expecting a tip for doing nothing. Asked for a massage by the spa, tipped the massagist and then a lady that was next to her serving coffee asked for a tip too.... offered 5 dollars and she said no thank you that is too low.
Anyways, I did what we had to do in Istanbul, the location was fine, close to the

My feeling is that it was a 5-star hotel and turned into a giant 4-star hotel
Outdated facilities.. The room is old.. Faded colors.. The Turkish bath, swimming pool and sauna facilities need repairs and renovation.. And the staff in this facility (-2nd floor) are not as courteous and attentive as the main reception and luggage department.

Not the best location

The hotel is nice but the area isn’t great, especially for walking or public transport. H1 bus takes you near it from IST airport.
The building is fairly modern but there large gaps between windows and their frames letting air and noise in. In our room the gap was as big as a finger width. Breakfast is ok.
Coffee prices in the lobby are ridiculous!
Don’t use the taxi from the hotel as they overcharged us twice. House keeping staff were very nice.

The hotel staff were nice and the check in was quick. However, the bathroom shower area leaked in both rooms and the bathroom sink were clocked. When requested to have these issues fixed or changed rooms the staff did say the issues were resolved but they didn’t fix anything.
When traveling to a foreign country with kids and language barrier it’s hard enough and to include the stated issues made the stay uncomfortable.

Shower and sink basin both had a leak when we arrived. Informed reception and they sent someone who fixed the sink leak. But the shower leak continued throughout our 3 day stay. Which meant a soaking wet floor wach time someone showered. The beds weren’t very comfortable and we had very heavy duvets for a summer season?!

The breakfast provided was nice, a variety of choice was offered. compliments to the chef who cooks the omelettes everyday.

The hotel has an instore starbucks but unfortunately it charges at least x3 more than the high street price for a coffee and the staff are very incompetent at making distinctive italian coffee.

Overall the hotel didnt appear to provide the five star service as it had been rated. More like a 4 star (being generous still)

Dirty rooms - Worst Location - No Public transport

The check-in process was exceedingly slow and took almost two hours. Second, the room's cleanliness was awful and horrible. The carpet was not brushed or vacuumed in five days. The toilet light was also not functioning. Numerous large spots on the primary window. Air conditioning just provides fan-like circulation, no coolingat all. Although we have stayed in numerous five-star hotels, this one is by far the worst. The location is awful because there is no other way to go about without a taxi. No public transit is available near the hotel's location. The most suitable substitute is to stay close to the centre so you can utilise the subway instead of a taxi to get about Istanbul.

In a hotel where you expect people not to know Turkish, staff speak only Turkish. I happen to understand 4 languages but they only speak Turkish. This is not specific to this hotel but all over Turkey I would not visit turkey again. People are rude in general.

I really enjoyed my stay at this magnificent hotel. The service was exceptional, the breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of choices to suit all dietary requirements and the taxi service from this hotel was excellent. The King Single room is very comfortable and adequate for a family of 4 with 2 children. The hotel rooms are modern and clean. The stafff members are attentive and prompt. Would recommend this hotel for families.

Breakfast buffet is also excellent.

It is a bit of drive from the IST airport and places of interest, but still doable.

Check-in was great! From the valet to the check in desk, all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The dining room staff were all wonderful and accommodating and everyone were professional, looking sharp!
Unfortunately, the room was suffocating with uncontrollable humidity and heat. We had to leave the windows open to the outside, and had to sleep breathing in polluted air from the textile places around us. My son and I woke up with cough and wheezing! It was definitely pretty bad.
The room was very nasty also. It had a smell of sewer coming from the floor drain. My husband had to plug it with wet towel. Also, there’s no place to leave your shoes as the whole room was carpeted right the entrance. The bed sheets were old looking, and ripped at the edges. Everyone also just walks in with shoes on, room service, etc. It was not good for cleanliness

Good location near to few shoping centers. Comfortable undeground and safe parking. Very friendly stuff. Although our rooms were upgraded we are disapointed from room. Dirty carpet with spots, hair over bed sheets, scratched walls. Breakfast is not something special, far away from 5 stars.
