We recently stayed in this hotel after moving from another and we would definitely recommend it for anybody although it’s located close to quite a busy main road gives access to quite a few very big shopping malls with a short distance to walk, two lovely restaurants, very reasonably priced and lovely food. The staff cannot do enough to help. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Istanbul.

Many reasons, as Golden member I expect to get upgraded room or at least some complementary but i got different room then i have to ask for another room as the booking, however they were cooperative on that but i feel the hotel require renovation even though it was built in 2021 so almost 5 years old. Some of the shower materials need to be changed , i got a room with light not working and the window has leakage of air which was noisy in the living room. I really like the hotel and i stayed in this hotel many times but i believe some room need some renovation to keep it top hotel

The hotel looks a lot better on pictures. Our apartment room was missing robes; did not have the branded shampoo/conditioners pictured or the nicely staged rooms. Everything was a little bit beat up. The pool was closed; not clean;maybe due to off season. Staff was nice. I would not consider this a 5 star hotel, however.

I initially booked the deluxe room, which was too big for me so requested a smaller room, which Deniz at the reception kindly arranged. Room was clean and service from the staff was helpful and friendly. Deniz was exceptionally helpful. The spa staff and facility was also lovely and had a very nice massage.

We stayed at Wanda Vista for a night in 1 king bedroom apartment unit. The staff - front desk, baggage handler, breakfast crew - were friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which offered some Asian options. The room was lovely and sizeable with kitchen - microwave, fridge and dishwasher - a couch, table and chairs in an eating/TV area separable from the bedroom by sliding doors, and a bathroom with rain shower and all-in-one washer/dryer. We plan on returning to this hotel, which was only 30 mıns from the Istanbul airport.

On arrival the hotel exterior is beautiful and was greeted by the hotel luggage staff. Yes, the room was delayed, however the manager on duty was exceptional she give us complimentary nibbles and drinks for the delay. Also, made my children feel welcome and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I would definitely recommend them.

Bed sheets coms out from the mattresses, shower water stays in the shower cabin and spreads to the floor of the shower room, we asked for fixing this problem but nobody reacted on this call, shower handle brocket is Brocken loose. Mirror lights is not working.

The room was not cleaned until we called ant it ended being cleaned in the afternoon.
It was tired begging to have the room clean.
We called to have toilet lid fixed many times. They fixed and next time we sat was not fixed. The light outside did not turned in we asked to fix it. It was never fixed.

We loved the rooms! Luxurious, spacious and clean daily. The hotel itself has amazing amenities and we came here to recover from surgery for the week and it made a huge difference to my recovery. Although not many restaurants nearby and the hotel food itself is really overpriced and not the best.

Everything is outstanding. Everyday the clean the room, the room is so comfortable. But the only problem is that there is nothing around such as cafes restaurants and it is far from the city.
The hotel does have their own restaurant but the price is the food are too high. They do not have a separate cafe with cakes or some snacks to enjoy

WandaVista is a 2-star hotel advertised as a 5-star hotel. It is a tall building that looks nice from a distance but is very unkept. Paint is falling from the walls, and the roof is leaking in multiple places. The door handle to one of our bedrooms was broken, and they came to fix it. The AC units didn't have remotes or any way to change the temperature. We made multiple calls to the front desk, and they eventually brought remote controls so we could set the temperature in our rooms. On the first day of our stay, they cleaned our room and left the door open. Yes, we came back at night to the door to our unit that was open, not just unlocked. Fortunately, nothing was stolen. On our second day, I called the front desk, asking about the pool hours. They said it is open during the day. We dressed up and went to the pool. The pool was closed for maintenance. The gym said the pool would open in 2 days. The front desk had no clue that their pool was closed. When we came back in 2 days for the pool, it was still closed because the maintenance guy had left his equipment in the pool and they had no idea when he would come back. There were water bottles left in the kid's play area that stayed in the same location for multiple days, which means nobody ever really cleaned that room.
This is a hotel that is waiting for a disaster to happen. Unsafe to stay at. I regret making this reservation. The fact that they are rated as a 5-star hotel, raises serious questions about the rating system.

We booked the hotel because our friend was having cosmetic surgery nearby and we were there to keep her company. The hotel is miles away from the city centre by taxi with no real restaurant facilities apart from a Chinese restaurant where the staff were rude. There is an outlet Mall a ten minute walk away where you can buy fast food. We had breakfast included and it was disastrously planned. Crowds built up for fried eggs etc
The reception staff didn't appear to know their jo, were abrupt and weren't helpful.
Our room was very comfortable. The bed's mattress, pillows and duvet were amazing. However little details like the TV and safe not working. One glass and 1 cup to use for a twin room booking. The wardrobe light constantly 'on'. There was a constant noise from the motorway below.
Overall a hotel that could be prestigious if it had decent management offering help to the customer.

This property is beautiful and clean. The bathroom in my room was so beautiful. I was comfortable sleeping, dinning and speaking with staff. Staff was very helpful and even walked me to my room and explained everything. The cars inside the hotel are classic old school cars and adds a special touch to the decor in the hotel. I will say there were cats everywhere but nothing to be afraid of. The mall of Istanbul is very close to the hotel but I still used a car to get there. The hotel is a good distance away from the airport so I’d recommend renting a car which I did. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Im very confused how did this hotel get over 8* on their reviews, im sure they are up to something. Hotel is very old, mold on the walls, they trried to hide the mold by putting on wall paper and they are coming off, damp smell. Blood staines in the bed sheets, hair on bed and the whole hotel rooms. They changed our room and it was even more worse. We left and asked for refund and the hotel reception said that because we booked it with Hotels.com that they are the one who have to give you the refund. When i got back hotel.com said that it is the hotel who needs to give the refund. Im very disappointed with Hotels.com not helping their customers.

Mixed views on this hotel but lovely rooms

Firstly,the room itself was perfect, comfy bed, tasteful decor and lots of extra stuff like an iron, fridge, smart tv, hob, however no cutlery or pots so you couldn't use hob or oven.
The service was mixed, room was left open by cleaners and it didn't even get cleaned, air con wasn't working properly and had to keep calling reception for towels, cleaning the room, fix air con etc
Restaurant service wasn't great,but porters were lovely, reception staff average.
Not much to do in the area apart from shopping malls but hotel has a nice swimming pool and spa area. Roof top swimnig pool not looked after and needs maintenance asap. Stayed 4 days would of stayed longer but no restaurants to walk to so left early.

Hotel staff is very helpful and nice. Only problem is our room was not ready and we waited more than 2 hours after check in to get to our room. I booked the hotel couple weeks ago. If you have available rooms to book for that days, you need to make it ready for that time. 2 hours is a lot when you traveling with kids. Especially if you have flight after few hours.

The hotel facilities are good and the room is very nice. However, we stayed for 4 nights and not even one day got housekeeing to make our apartment. I put the sign and called reception 5x but no one came. Breakfast selection is not alot also and was not presented very clean and properly, either out of reach or just put on the bench whatever. Not what you will expect from 5 star. Location was close to Istanbul mall but have to catch taxi or uber and taxi doesnt want to take you because the distance is too close but not close enough to walk it. No food, coffee or grocery area when you get out of the hotel, just a massive highway. You need to walk 15mins for a coffee.

Quick one night stay which had everything we needed. Room nice and spacious.
Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant staff a little average on service and prices typically a lil higher.
Playground was a treat and my daughter couldn't get enough of.

I booked my room months in advance in preparation for my trip to Istanbul for surgery. I selected a room with a fridge for my home cooked meals post surgery so I would not have to leave my room unless necessary. I also made sure to book a room with a king bed for my partner, who is a large body builder, and myself with a TV in front of the bed so I can relax and recover in bed to give me some entertainment while staying in bed all day.
However, when I got to the hotel, they had given our room away and had no other availabilities. I was given a room with no tv in front of the bed, just a wall, and a small DOUBLE sized bed where we couldn’t fit comfortably for sleeping and my poor partner had to sleep on the uncomfortable sofa. We discussed with management numerous times over the course of the days we were there. We were told they have no availability and that there’s no rooms that have a king bed, with tv and a fridge, no new room. All the information and photos are wrong on the Expedia website. Unfortunately this caused me to check out early and I didn’t get to enjoy the rest of my days in Turkey I was supposed to. I got clearance from my doctor I could fly back home safely and that’s what i immediately did. Expedia has tried contacting the party for my partial refund for the days there we spent absolutely uncomfortable. It’s been weeks and we still did not receive a response. Do not waste your vacation or money on this property. This is not how a business should be ran.

DIRTY BED SHEET INEFFICIENT HOTEL STAFF

My daughter and son in law checked in into Wanda Vista Istanbul on 1st jan 2024. The bedsheet was dirty with yellow stain. They called the reception 4 times and they also went down to the reception twice. But nobody came to change the bedsheet.
We checked out and booked into Hotel JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea. The service in JW Marriott was superb. I wrote to hotels.com for a refund I was not given any refund. We also supposed to stay in Wanda Vista Istanbul from 6th to 10th Jan which we cancelled as the hotel is the dirtiest hotel we ever stayed, and again we did not get any refund. This hotel is not fit for human stay. And the staffs are also not efficient and unhelpful.

front desk staff is amazing. unfortunately; hotel is way out of the city, far to everywhere other than the airport. so close to a major highway and the noise is serious if you not on higher floors. Cleaning is one day ok one day not depends on the staff that day. majority of the guests are the surgery recovering patients from the closest hospital, so the breakfast room is like a hospital unit. the area has major traffic problems so it really is not a practical location for those who wants to enjoy beautiful Istanbul.

Beautiful hotel, really clean, great breakfast. Kids play room was an added bonus and huge rooms. Definitely will only be staying here in the future when I visit Istanbul. Tried many others hotels nearby and none were as nice as this hotel.

The hotel has extremely unreliable wifi service. The service went down for hours on multiple days and there did not appear to be any sense of urgency to restore it. When I called the front desk to ask about it, the desk agent Emir actually hung up on me! Despicable customer service!!

Stayed here due to hosp procedure. Hotel clean and room spacious and very comfortable, tv, lounge area and kitchen facilities & fridge but no plates cutlery etc.however overlooking busy noisy motor way . Disappointed outside Pool was closed due to winter season (early oct) weather was still nice. Was hoping to relax their annd Inside pool shallow and cold. Gym area great . Breakfast was ok, reasonable selection of food.
Ideal hotel for hosp procedure. Outlet 212 10 min walk and mall of Istanbul 5-10 drive away was fab.
Overall it was a pleasant stay apart from traffic noise.
