-In the beginning all my information is available to Expedia, and among the options, I am a non-smoker, they gave me a smoking room, unfortunately, a smelly room and the smell of cigarettes filled the room.
And when I told them to change it, they told me that there was no room, and after speaking to the manager, he said we will look for a suitable room for you. I hope that the picture mimics the reality, as we book through the website with pictures, and we live in rooms that are different from pictures.

Very bad location, not accessible easily via taxi. Staff seem agitated all the time. I’ve asked the reception dude to send me a soft copy of my PCR test and he replied with “we are currently busy” while there was no one there to attend to. Food was sub average and cleanliness wasn’t their top priority. Broken plates and dirty ones stacked for breakfast service. Chefs were in a bad mood possibly because they had to be up too early.
All in all, not fit for a 2 stars hotel.

The hotel is a relatively short taxi ride from the airport and of the mall of Istanbul. Only stayed a short day so did not have chance to explore more. The lobby of hotel is quite nice with a coffee shop and restaurant. The staff is very nice. The room are spacious. The room has a bit of a strange smell. There is a small gym which is quite good.

This hotel exceeded my expectation. It’s 15-20 mins drive from Istanbul airport. I was there just for a few hours to sleep before my next flight. Overall the room was nice, comfortable and clean. The staff at check in are very helpful too. I also noticed there was a café and Starbucks at the lobby. The hotel also provide free shuttle to the airport.

I was there one night traveling through. It is good, has good service. The property could do with a few upgrades after many years of use. I would value it as a good four star. But for the price one cannot complain.

Just got back from a business trip and stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. Staff were excellent and friendly and the hotel was very clean. Breakfasts were only €10 and there was a large selection of cooked or continental variations. Well worth the cost. I was also upgraded on arrival which was nice and had a large room.
The hotel is a few minutes from The Mall of Istanbul but it is in quite an industrial area. It's a good base if you know your way around, but more so for business than tourism. I have no complaints about the hotel and would recommend.

We were shown 3 different rooms and they all smelled humid and looked dusty. The bell boy remarked the rotten smell was 'normal'. The air con did work but was so loud. Our dinner was inedible. The service and the staff was OK but we had a very poor experience at this hotel.

I've stayed here several times coming and going through Atatürk airport, and its been a consistently positive experience across the board.
On this trip I learned their (terrific) morning buffet, not included with my usual reservation, can be had for 10 Euros if you tell them you will want it upon check in show up the next morning and it'll run 15. They had previously given conflicting price info, confusing Euros and TL. The price of the rooms have been creeping up recently, despite the FX rates, but that's life.

This is a nice modern hotel. Its close to the airport. We chose this hotel because of the airport and downtown shuttles. However, breakfast is not included and this hotel charges for unexpected items, like the use of the games in the game room.

Your Go-To Option...for a one-nits business stay
This wasn't my first stay here, but my first in winter. As I noted in an earlier review, this designated Airport Holiday Inn, which apparently has the shuttle concession, is 15 minutes down the highway from the airport. That said, the cost, service and amenities are managed admirably.
What I learned on this stay, however, is their climate control is set for either winter or summer, and if you like it coolish in the winter, say 70F (20-21C), you may be disappointed. Maybe there is a way they can sort this out technically, but for my late night arrival in early January 2015 I was out of luck. At the lowest setting the room was 30+C and the windows didn't open. This was simply unacceptable, and although it was after midnight, I politely but directly let the front desk know my feelings. The clerk holding things down was alone and his English wasn't the best, but Turks are very good judges of body language and he knew he needed to do....something.
While juggling other things he gave me a few just-a-moment signals, and with no further discussion handed me a key for a penthouse suite with a door that opened onto a balcony: problem solved.
Sure, I'll recommend it and stay again, but I'm leary about in the winter. Their AC is strong in the summer, but the solution he used for me isn't one that be can be used regularly. I'll have to mull over my options the next time I plan a stay in cold weather Istanbul.

Excellent value for the money. Good restaurant with tasty foods. Quick tip: if eating at restaurant check at front desk you got charged the right amount - we had our bill put on our room charge. Staff corrected mistake but only after we pointed it out to them. Otherwise nice rooms with pretty views.

BEST BUSINESS HOTEL
This is good hotel if you have some business in ISTOC area. But for the shuttle bus experience was terrible. As I reached the Ata Turk Istanbul airport by 07:30 PM and bus time was for 08:00 PM I wait until 08:30 PM at the exact point in front of the Holiday Inn Pick point. But bus did not came. Finally I reached the hotel by taxi and when I make a complaint that I was on the pick up point. The hotel staff tried to convince me by GPS that he was there and wait for 3 minutes. The reception desk told me that they will investigate the issue and will inform me but no body bothered later on.

Hotel is too far from the airport to be called an 'AIRPORT HOTEL\", It is not convenient to any shopping areas or tourist attractions. The food was expensive, by Turkish standards, and not very good tasting (I had the Schnitzel and my partner had a lamb kebab, neither was even average..Hotel staff was not particularlly friendly or helpful. The hotel shuttle to and from airport was great.

The location is close enough th to the airport, but most taxi drivers had trouble finding it. Noone really knew where it was and each time we had to explain to the driver really well how to get there often getting lost and taking longer route to get there.
The rooms are nice but I did not like the carpeting which for me somehow takes away from the cleanliness.

I was surprised when I entered my room that it is a two-bed room instead of one bed as per my confirmed reservation. They said single bedroom is not available! I told I paid in advance and I received a confirmation! After a short argument, they agreed to provide a sweet at no additional charges. It was 1:30 am

Our brief time there was enjoyable. Free and timely shuttle from the airport, easy check-in, followed by good assistance to the room, where we found a clean and comfortable space. It was a welcomed sight since we after leaving on a flight from India that started @ 4:00 A.M. and the 6 hour flight to Turkey.
