The room was very nice and fresh towels were supplied constantly. We loved the nespresso machine in the room. However the ice machine on our floor was not working both times we tried to use it.The staff were very accommodating to all our needs and did their best to keep up with the long weekend busyness. One of our dinners at the Alpine Social was less than ideal. Our food seemed to take quite a while and we noted this was going on with several tables around us. When it came the food was lukewarm. Our server was incredibly accommodating but mentioned the kitchen was responsible for the restaurant and in-room service causing overwhelm. Not the best system apparently. For the cost of food in the hotel there should not be issues like this. The highlight of the trip was Basin Glacial Waters. Absolutely worth the cost for the experience.

We stayed one night at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and were truly impressed. The room was cozy and beautifully appointed, with a stunning mountain view. Even though it was -20°C outside, the exceptional service and genuine warmth of the staff made our stay feel incredibly comfortable. Truly outstanding hospitality.

Very friendly staff throughout hotel. Room was a little small but very nice. Hotel has lots of amenities, restaurants etc. 2 things were disappointing: 1. There was nowhere to watch Canada's men's olympic hockey game as the bars weren't open until 3pm - game was at 12:30pm and the main restaurant could not accommodate our dietary needs due to fixed Valentines menu. We ended up sitting at another bar instead - though that was not ideal for a nice dinner.

Room remodeled nicely. Very small. No real customer service throughout resort. Requested late checkout upon arrival (just one additional hour), and they stated we’d need to request day of departure. Day of departure @ 7 AM I called front desk for our one hour late checkout and was notified “we are not offering any late checkouts today” even though there had been a giant snowstorm the night before. They lobby was filled with guests trying to somehow depart. If you think the Fairmont is anything like Four Seasons, Aman Resorts, or even the Ritz Carlton, you will be greatly dissapointed. First and last Fairmont stay, but Lake Louise was superb.

The staff at check-in, housekeeping, and restaurants were wonderful, helpful and accommodating. The food at Walisser stube was excellent, afternoon tea was lovely, and continental breakfast in Louisa's was great. The Basin was a new experience for us. The bar staff in Lakeview lounge were very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our stay.

We were welcomed with smiling faces and professional staff. Room was immaculate and our view was stunning. We had lake view. The glacier basin experience was the best. It was invigorating and relaxing. We had a little skate although the ice was not quite ready as it usually is. Not the hotels fault as there was warm weather recently that impeded getting it ready. The restaurants were world class and delicious. We can’t wait to come back.

I love Chateau Lake Louise, but please bring back the sledding hill somewhere some how! Trading in childhood joy to build a spa that costs 1000.00 dollars a day for a family of 4 just seems sacrilege. Fairmont is iconic and there is no place like it. I have high standards for the place and it often meets it!

The staff were excellent from Check in to Check out and everything in-between. Lots of activities for guests to enjoy throughout the day and easy to book online through the QR code provided. Took part in the wine tasting, lookout hike and ice skating. They went above and beyond to make our birthday celebration special. Rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable beds, quiet floor to spite being next to the elevator. Window seat in the room was a wonderful touch.

The best location for a few days of relaxation or participating day tours nearby. Satisfied with top floor mountain views room which surprised the lake view is available either. The space is roomy, and the beds are comfortable. Staffs are friendly and courteous. We got welcome gifts at first night. Breakfast is really good in Louisa, it wins on its quality rather than the quantity. At the end, the only reason that I was hesitated to hold one star off is the supplement of the consumables. At first day, there is no bottle water or any bottle beverages in the cooler. The free bottle water is only offered when I request, every day during my stay. However, it is unforgettable experience for staying in the Faimont chateau. I would recommend to my friends.

Truly amazing service. My partner proposed to me here, and Fairmont staff congratulated us every chance they could! I know he made plans with staff before and during our stay. If you’re wondering where to propose to your partner…this is the place!

Even before the proposal, staff were accommodating, helpful, and just overall amazing humans. I highly recommend staying here, no matter the occasion.

And you can’t forget the place itself—beautiful mountain views, lake views, a range of restaurants, and plenty of activities. You’ll never want to leave.

They should have a better idea of where the FLIX bus picks passengers up. I was told ( by the hotel) to go up the stairs right next too the roam bus stop and that is not where the flix bus picks passengers up, at least not when there is snow on the ground. The Flix bus picks passengers up at the end of the parking lot - The same parking lot where the roam bus stop is located....

This was planned months ago form a road trip after Thanksgiving gathering in Calgary.
1. Did not expected the room is for handicap and door takes time to close. During that, door was widely open and anyone passing by can see inside. No privacy at all.
2. Water shower pressure is weak.
3. Want to take breakfast on 2nd floor and enjoy the beautiful lake view but restaurant open 11am.
4.In Morning the electric power fail during using coffee machine and kettle. Takes almost 30min to reset.
I was in this hotel many years ago before its renovation. Today everything looks new but water and electrical did not match.

You pay a LOT, but you absolutely get what you paid for. I booked during the off-season, booking a mountain-view room for roughly $600.00 - a bit steep for me, but when in Rome right? Anyway, I am guessing due to the offseason, I was upgraded for free to a lake view room (usually about $1,100.00), so that was an awesome surprise! The grounds, it goes without saying, are majestic. And I don't use that word lightly. Lake Louise is absolutely stunning. The gentleman at check-in was super kind, courteous and had a good sense of humour. For parking, you have the option of valet, or self-parking if you'd prefer. Dinner was really good, but for the prices, the portions were tiny. But to be fair, I knew what I was getting. It's part of the experience really. There are restaurants in town that are much cheaper. Breakfast was freaking awesome. They have the standard cold food continental breakfast section, but on steroids lol The selection is closer to the hotels I stayed at in Iceland (a country that absolutely takes its hotel breakfast selection VERY seriously), but you could also order hot breakfast too, or a bit of both! I can't say enough positives about my experience, just again, the price might be an issue. But you get what you pay for (and then some, in my case)!
