The pool area is quite run down, from the raised jacuzzi area that resembles a Chinese takeaway counter to the moss/plant covered central skylight. We stayed in the “village” and you don’t have any climate control like AC etc, the heating came on late one night despite the outside temperature being 25+. Room felt like a tired pre-fabricated holiday chalet from the 1990’s, quite dirty too. The breakfast was good, staff were overall good. If you are wanting to crash with the lads after a game of golf it ticks the box. But it’s miles away from luxury.

We love St.Pierre, rarely disappoints, the championship course is well kept and challenging.
Only negative was the cost , booked 4 double rooms at £170 a room inc cancellation insurance which didn’t realise I had booked. Expected a breakfast for that sort of money but was room only
However will not let that detract on a nice stay

All the staff were very friendly and helpful and a well stocked breakfast buffet with poached eggs cooked to order. The WiFi however is not good resulting in our bar food order not going to the kitchen via the till, but we were recompensed for the error and the long wait, and our food arrived eventually. Perhaps an explanation of the dining options could be made at check in. However we had a very relaxing stay on the hottest two days of the year and there was already a fan in our room. We would certainly book again if in the area.

We stayed in a superior room with lake view and was amazed on how beautiful the room and view were. We were very fortunate to have a room with veranda where we sat and just enjoyed the peace of our surroundings and the stunning lake.
Breakfast was very nice as always and plenty to choose from. We didn't use to pool or spa as we were happy enjoying the sunshine and our veranda. Close to Chepstow Town centre. Friendly staff and easy check in.

As this hotel is part of a country club with two golf courses, you would need to be a golfer to get the maximum experience out of a stay here. The food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and our room was by a lake, with an amazing view, quiet and peaceful, enjoyed our stay

So I booked a deluxe double room. Travelling for work. The drive in and the first impressions are lovely. However the closer I got to my room the more and more tired the hotel got!
My room was certainly not what I would call deluxe
Not able to control the temperature in my room
WiFi barely worked
Bathroom dated and couldn’t get hot water out of the tap
No privacy, had french doors that opened out onto the golf course with no net or privacy on the window
GDPR breach on the TV showed someone else as a guest on it first and last name
Flashing lights in the bathroom
Room smelt musty
Furniture tired and very dated

What a ln absolutely stunning location and and building and we have stayed in some lovely hotels being Gold members. Beautiful. But most striking were the team. The front of house reception team were so so welcoming. The general manager was one of the. Invest people we’ve come across. So polite personable and helpful. We were in one of the cottages (tulip) and I must say usually hotels with outside/annexed rooms are usually not as nice but these cottagez have us feel of living in a village with the entrance to the hotel just adjacent to our cottage. We loved it. The room was Lovely. Spacious yet cosy. Lovely amenities in the bathroom which was clean and welcoming. The breakfast was hot plentiful and set us up for the day. So much options for seating and free to sit wherever. Lovely views from wherever you sit. Thencast iron grill restaurant was lovely. The furnishings are stylish modern and timeless which blend well with the old historic building. Plenty of parking.
The only things they could be improved was the bar felt a little tired and sofas were old. The outdoor seating made it not look like a Marriott branded hotel. Could be made to look a little more stylish quite easily.
Do not hesitate to book. It’s a gem. We are looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you team.

Lovely setting beautiful kept grounds . Large tv in the room soap and body wash in large containers over the bath couldn’t be accessed while your sitting in the bath they were set too high up the wall and one was empty .
Staff were all relaxed and happy in their work couldn’t do enough for you especially the dining room staff

The property was clean but a little dated. Breakfast was good. The food in general was good. The room was very dated and in need of an update. The prices were extortionate for where it is, way more expensive than Kent on par with London. The biggest miss sell is the tv. It is advertised on Expedia as a 55” smart tv. It is not 55” and is definitely not smart. This was extremely disappointing as my wife and I were looking forward to cosying up in the room and catching up with Netflix as we are very busy people and don’t get much time at home to do this. I will be writing to Expedia to complain about this as it was something we both really wanted in our stay.

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the last year and found it to be very comfortable, peaceful, scenic, with lovely staff and good food and also a conveniently close distance to the M4. Generally the accommodation is of a high standard of cleanliness and comfort.
I was disappointed on my last visit however, to find that my booked suite had been 'upgraded'. The upgrade was underwhelming, being a single room with a balcony overlooking the lake. Whilst the room was adequate and view nice, this wasn't really an 'upgrade' compared to the suite (which are very well appointed and comfortable) also the balcony appeared to be in some state of disrepair and a bit rickety. I made a complaint on check out that I didn't feel the upgrade was value for money compared to the suite but sadly this does not appear to have been followed up on as I have heard nothing back which is very disappointing.

The leisure facilities are not good enough for the size of the hotel. Everything is so small, the pool and the jacuzzi. The sauna and steam room were cozy when more than 4 people wanted to use. Needs much better leisure facilities. We left after 15 minutes as we were just sat round waiting to use

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Delta Hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived, which really set the tone for the whole trip.

Breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of continental options, fresh juices, and hot dishes — a really well-rounded and satisfying start to the day. We also had dinner at the restaurant, which was equally enjoyable. The food and atmosphere were both lovely.

The accommodation was surprisingly spacious and private. The hotel is made up of separate houses, so your room feels more like your own apartment. The only thing to keep in mind is that you may need to walk between your room and reception, the restaurant, or the spa — depending on where you’re located, this can take around 7–10 minutes. We didn’t mind it, but it’s worth noting.

We used the spa and had a massage, which was wonderful. The amenities are great and really added to the relaxing countryside experience.

There isn’t much within walking distance, so you’ll need a car to explore the surrounding area. But if you plan ahead, there are interesting activities and spots to visit nearby.
Overall, it was a lovely countryside stay. We’d happily return.

Afternoon tea was ok, not the best I’ve had, scones were extremely crumbly and the bread was a little dry.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, however I would have liked a fridge and the cold water didn’t run very cold.

The spa facilities are lovely, clean and a good temperature.

I would definitely stay again, it was so pretty with all the Christmas lights around the quaint little buildings and staff were excellent.

You get the wow factor when you first arrive, then when we checked-in to our suite we were very disappointed, its a bit tired, wasnt clean, found coco pops on the floor along with hair clips, bread crumbs and a hair in the bed and sink. Smart TV doesnt have netflix etc, just youtube. Room was boiling hot and only able to control temp by radiators. Overlooking car parks from both windows, floors very thin so could hear the people downstairs talking and loud TV at night. Booked dinner for 6pm, when restaurant first opened and took over 2 hrs to get served main & dessert, chef lost our ticket and waited 90mins for main, this was stressful with a 5 year old to entertain! Breakfast was great. A pint will set you back £7.75!!!! Can get cheaper pints in London, this is Wales! Wouldnt make a return trip.

Let me first state that every member of staff that my wife and I had an interaction with, were great, especially Valentine and the team at the Cast Iron, who were superb. We were let down for the room we booked, which you gave us a very generous gifted apology for. I stayed at the St-Pierre in the early to mid 2000s, when I was working on the Type 45 Frigates for BAE Systems, I don't beleive it has changed much. The TV says its a smart TV, but there are no apps, no Netflix, Prime etc. Luckily I always take my laptop, however the sockets at the sides of the bed are still round pin!! Although our superior lake view balcony room was ready to move into on the 2nd day, the builders were still working on the other rooms around us, continually coming round the front of our lakeside balcony to get to the back of the other rooms. We paid for breakfast, of which my wife was only having Frosties and I was having porridge. There was no porridge for the last two mornings, and no Frosties for the last morning. We are not late sleepers, usually up for breakfast around 7-7:30, so not like we were at the tail end of the breakfast period. The first night we went to the restaturant, there was no fish, no Korean chicken burgers, and a couple of other mains. If I was marking purely on the staff, it would be a 10.
