This hotel is amazing! Incredible room, amazing swimming pool and spa area, great restaurant, and right next to a subway stop within one minute. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, and a special shout out to Kenichi who went above and beyond to help me with transportation, activities, and other questions that I had. Really an awesome hotel and perhaps the greatest city on earth, Tokyo.

Staff at front desk were amazing! Kind and helpful. However, the actual room had many marks in the wall snd ceiling. The room was run down and desperately needed and update. Also, do not book this hotel if you would like to access the pool/public baths and have tattoos. They are unwavering with their policy and will not let you. Really wanted to like this place but not worth the price.

Shibuya Crossings was 2 subway stops or 30 min walk away. Lots of restaurants within 10 min walking area. Being from the USA, we felt the room size was great also compare to other hotels we considered. Would definitely stay again and recommend

Checked into a dirty room with stained carpet and blood spots on wall by headboard and bathroom. My husband and baby got bit by something and his eye swelled shut with red bumps on both of them. They changed our room but by then our trip was a bit ruined. The room change came with a little pushback with the saying no rooms were available until I showed them pictures. You’re basically paying for the location. Couch in room and lobby was sunken in. I suspect they have bedbugs. I booked this hotel based on everyone’s review but this hotel was not worth the money. The staff was great.

Queen bed for 2 adults and 7 year old was a squeeze, not sure why we couldn't get a room with sofa or extra bed.
Main entrance was on 1st floor and reception was in 2nd.

Hotel was ok but not like the pictures, much less modern- probably they do not give good rooms to Orbitz customers. Location is central if you want to explore more of the neighborhoods of Tokyo, very clean, helpful staff, and great spa/bathroom amenities

Front desk receptionist Dean was excellent and professional. Room itself was very nice but expensive and had zero view. Wifi was exceptionally poor and we had to sit next to the entrance door to receive an intermittent signal. They stubbornly refused to provide more than two small bottles of water per room despite me registering and paying for three guests. No room service. No breakfast available whether paid or unpaid. The only two restaurants in the hotel building seemed to be separately run and not connected with the operation of the hotel-they seemed to only be open for lunch and dinner and closed rather early at 2100. Very annoying was that the gym-one of the main reasons I chose the hotel-did not allow under 16 yrs of age. This was not made known to me beforehand. Not good.

We had an amazing time here! As a former Tokyo resident, I was shocked at how large the rooms were - we were in a junior suite and had room for my two very active boys to play with all their new Pokemon toys while my husband and I were able to relax and not feel like we were on top of each other. Breakfast is perhaps the best deal in Tokyo and was a great way to start our days - I recommend buying the coupons in advance! Staff was marvelous and location was perfect - quiet, but within walking distance to omotesando and other parts of Aoyama and literally on top of Gaienmae so we could take the subway easily to wherever we wanted to go. Perfect for our needs - we will be back!

The entrance is through an office building and the lobby is on the second floor but pretty unappealing. Check in process was fine but the English wasn't great and they weren't overly accommodating. The room had an enormous California King bed and a lot of space, the location is perfect! Two stops to Shibuya, right on the train line and close to omota Sando would go again

Amazing Place in an Amazing Area
It's not cheap, but no high quality hotel in Tokyo is. And the Allamanda in Aoyama is as good as it gets. Renovated just two years ago, the entire property is clean and beautiful. Our room, which they call a \"double,\" must mean double king because the bed is enormous and super comfortable. All the furniture is great, and I think it might be the largest most luxurious bath-suite I've ever seen. Staff is superb and the 8th floor bar hits the spot with a pretty decent view. The only downside of the entire hotel is that the pool and spa are only open until 9:00 PM. We were too busy running around the city to get back in time, and would have been nice to have taken advantage of the glass enclosed pool and hot tub after a long day out in Tokyo. There are also yoga and fitness classes - and an indoor driving range if you want to work on your golf swing - all included. The hotel is on top of the Gaienmae station which means Harajuku, Shibuya, Omotesando and Shinjuku are minute away, and it's just steps from shopping, food, nightlife, and Cat Street - one of the coolest areas in town (look it up if you don't know). Simply put, the location could also not be much better. We loved this place.

My favorite hotel that is comfy and luxurious! The king size bed is grand and feels like I am sleeping in clouds. I love my shower! It has all kinds of options to use the different shower heads and the bath tub is relaxing too! It is close to shibuya and close to Harajuku! I love the extra security too! This hotel locks its doors by 12:30am and reopens by 6:30am so I know my children are safe and this hotel is secure! I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful luxurious hotel if staying in Tokyo.

Accommodation in well-located spots in Tokyo is horribly expensive but Allamanda offers a room that's large even by Australian standards. The rooms were terrific, and the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful with suggestions to first-time visitors with young kids. It's an excellent location, close to Gaiemmae (G-03) metro station and walking distance to Harajuku and the baseball (but book ahead if you want to see a baseball game because they sell out, and mean it).

Beautiful hotel, great location, wonderful restaurant, relaxing bath and spa. My wife and I visited Tokyo for our anniversary and stayed here for night. The location was a 2 minute walk from subway station and minutes to a wonderful part of the Shibuya district. The bath and spa was excellent, clean, well organized and temperatures just right. Fantastic gym but we did use the facility. Standard Room was spacious and bed really comfortable with firm mattress. Bathroom was Tokyo amazing, the Toto toilet opens and lights up when you enter the room! Breakfast was excellent, US or Japanese. WiFi works well, overall memorable and great experience

Nice and fresh hotel in a nice area close distance to Shibuya and Shinjuku. Overall we had a great experience but it could have been even better as this is supposed to be a 4,5 stars hotel, which it doesn't really live up to today. Needs an experienced hotel manager to run the place and get it in top service shape.

Very clean and new hotel! The location is great. Very close to the Gaienmae subway stop on the Ginza line so it's easy to get anywhere. It's also walking distance to the Omotesando and Aoyama areas with some very lovely cafes and high-end shopping. The \"American\" Breakfast is great: very fresh salad, bread, eggs, ham/bacon, yogurt, and coffee/tea. We were always so happily-full after our breakfast that there was usually no need to eat lunch until a lot later. Great stay. We will definitely be coming back!

There are convenience stores(7-11, Family Mart), 24h super markets(成城石井Seijo Ishii), and restaurants(Wendy's, Ramen, Yakitori, etc.) nearby.
Hence, you don't need to have the breakfast in the hotel's restaurant which is expensive.
The hotel is close to Gaienmae(外苑前) station(Ginza Line), so it's very easy traveling around.
The room is very clean and soundproofed.
They also provide free bottled water every day.

The room is very old, and the staff's English proficiency is low, making communication difficult. They were unable to address the guests' needs and allowed for a late check-out. However, they ended up charging a fee for it.
