As typical of my other reviews, the room was clean and the housekeeping honored the magnet tag for limited cleaning (replace towels, remove trash). The main entrance is a bit confusing if you had exited gaiemmae station via exit 1A since you need to wrap around the corner where Ken’s Cafe is and walk past Citron and you’d see the entrance. If you take the same exit from the train station, but don’t wrap around the corner, and follow the first signs for Tokyu Stay, you will walk into a nice, small plaza-esque area and there is the Tokyu guest rest area (Not the main lobby). Here, the wonderful staff offered a towel as I was drenched from the rain and I asked if they could hold my bags for a few hours until the check-in since I was very early for check-in and the staff took my information and provided me with a receipt for my bags when it was time to retrieve them. Provided in the rest area was water, coffee and some small treats. The lobby area had free popcorn, water, coffee and teas and the staff was nice enough to relocate my belongings from the rest area up to the lobby area.

The staff was nice and the room has everything you need (microwave, washing machine, fridge) making our stay very convenient. The location is also great, walkable to Shibuya, Omotesando, Harajuku, Roppongi, and more!

However, the room was very small and some parts were dirty. The room is not routinely cleaned so stays between 3-4 days will not be comfortable.

Rooms have clearly seen some damage from tourists. Cleanliness was fine. Convenient washer/dryer. Left luggage at front before check in but when I came back it was just sitting out there for anyone to get to, which is discomforting. Staff was either indifferent or very friendly, depending on the person. Convenient location, safe, but loud cars racing at night so hard to sleep without ear plugs. For a gaienmae stay it’s ok but could’ve been better.

Great room and great location. Everything is clean and the staff is very helpful. You can ship luggage from the front desk to your next location.

It's more of a quieter locals feeling area right next to a metro stop. Getting to the major packed tourist areas like shinjuku and shibuya is only a couple train stops away so just takes a few minutes. There's a great local Izakaya, fast food, coffee and plenty of 7-11 and family marts nearby.

What I’ll remember most about my stay was the polite and accommodating staff. They were understanding when my flight was delayed and I couldn’t check in until 4am. They also helped me forward my luggage to my next stay. I’m glad I chose Tokyu Stay Aoyama Premier and would gladly do so again.

The room is a little older, dated, but has been well maintained. The staff were very responsive to my requests. It's convenient to have a little kitchen to make hot tea, microwave food, refrig.etc.. The washer/dryer in the unit is a nice bonus. I liked the location, quiet, clean, close to the train station, easy access to Shibuya, Harajuku, & Omotesando. They supply ReFa body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, & shower head, a very posh brand. I loved the brand so much I ended up going to ReFa to buy the products in Omotesando Hills. I would stay here again!

Great location and good hotel overall. Small rooms and a bit dated. Dust on the vents and corners but overall Ok. Great to have a good washer/dryer in the room! Easy to use and gets clothes dry ( albeit needs 4hrs - we launched it in the am and left for the day)
Staff has very limited English so be ready to use Google to translate. Coffee is good. Quiet. Beds are comfy.
No cleaning for 7 days!! If you need new towels etc, they may charge you so just ask the housekeepers.

the location was amazing! super walkable to the train station and also to Omotesando/Harajuku. It felt quiet enough from the hustle and bustle but still close and convenient to all major locations. the room was a bit small but that’s to be expected in Tokyo but it was perfect for our needs.

This room (queen bed) had the most space out of all our stays. The bed was comfortable, there was a kitchenette, and the washer/dryer in the room was super convenient. It was in a walkable distance to the metro lines, had a couple of good eats fairly close, and in a super quiet district. They provide robes and slippers for the rooms. My only complaints were the bathroom had a sewer smell when we first got there, and the hallway soundproofing wasn’t the greatest. Overall, this was a great location that wasn’t busy. I think I would stay here again because it’s nice to walk back to your hotel without a huge crowd all around. Oh, there was a grocery store around the corner and a 711 nearby as well.

This hotel has a great location! In a nice area of Tokyo, very close to the Gaemma subway station (Orange line). We were in 16th floor - great views! Rooms and hallways were very clean. However, be aware that they are very small (which is not unusual for Japan). Me and my husband were constantly rubbing elbows and in each others space. And absolutely no closet or drawer space. If you are traveling solo, it’s ok size. Overall, for staying in Tokyo, it’s a good price to quality/benefit ratio.

Comfortable, convenient location close to Gaienmae station on the Ginza line. Small supermarket and a couple of convenience stores nearby plus many restaurants and coffee shops. Helpful front desk staff. Opted for a room with a kitchenette and washer/dryer which was very convenient. Kitchenette well enough equipped to make breakfast and, if you're creative, you could probably do much more if you were so minded. The room was bigger than the flat I used to live in in Tokyo so overall, a great option for us.

For an accommodation provider operating in the midst of a tourism boom the staff , bar one or two, are not able to communicate in english.
They are seemingly unable to recommend local restaurants, also appear to have little to no idea about long standing cultural institutions such as kabuki or noh.
Tokyu Stay generally has a zero service attitude - you do everything yourself and I understand the self catering idea but it leaves your presence feeling like you are unimportant and a mild inconvenience.
The only room cleaning available is at an extra cost -¥1500 per day ( if you stay more than 7 days you do get a once a week sheet change.) but they do change the towels and empty the trash once daily as long as you place a request card on your front door before 11 am.
Guests who want to can wash their own sheets as long as you are given a room with a washing machine.
The location is excellent.
Prices are reasonable for such a location.

Great hotel with very helpful staff. It's located in a quieter part of Shibuya, but still really close to public transportation as well as the Meijui Jingu baseball stadium. The room was small, which is typical for Japan, but was comfortable and the washer/dryer was super convenient. We did experience a weird sewage smell coming from the bathroom, but other than that this was a great stay.

We did not regret booking Tokyu Stay aoyama premier for our hotel during our 4day trip on tokyo. Checking in is very easy. The staff can speak english. They have self check-out facility. Our room was small but it didn't bother us because it was very functional. It has wash/dry laundry, Kitchenette and even a humidifier fan! It was execeptionally clean as well! I highly recommend TokyuStay aoyama premier! Will definitely book them again when we come back to Japan
