I booked a one-night stay at Palma Viña del Mar from February 14th to February 15th through Expedia and received a confirmation, so I assumed everything was set. I even messaged the hotel beforehand to confirm, but never received a reply. When my husband and I arrived for what was supposed to be a special day, we were told the hotel was overbooked and there was no room available for us. Although the front desk staff tried to help find alternative accommodations, we ended up wasting about two hours of our evening and were left stranded without a place to stay.
We even asked if we could reschedule our stay for another day, but they told us they couldn’t accommodate that either. The hotel staff seemed unapologetic about the situation and largely blamed Expedia while we were there, rather than taking responsibility or offering any real solution. They did not offer any form of compensation or gesture of goodwill — not even something simple like dining or any complimentary service — which made the experience even more disappointing.
What made the situation worse was that I only received a message from the hotel the following day at 3 p.m. informing me they were overbooked. I never received a call beforehand, and they claimed they had the wrong phone number on file, despite Expedia having my correct contact information. This entire experience was extremely frustrating, stressful, and unprofessional. Both Expedia and the hotel need to better manage their booking systems.

I have stayed here more then 15 times, but this is the first time things weren't perfect. The breakfast is awesome the location is great. This time they were slow to clean the room (after 4pm) and they didn't sweep the floor or take away dirty cups. Normally the clean is spotless.

The property is wonderful. Clean and bright throughout, including my room. The roof top bar and pool was really fun. Every single staff member was cheerful and friendly. We had an Uber driver problem, and staff came outside to translate and help. The local area is lovely with many choices for food and drink, picture perfect beaches. A great trip!

The location of the hotel is perfect, just seconds away from Acapulco Beach, where there are no warnings not to swim and the sea is relatively calm. Sadly for me, the water is much too cold to swim in Vina del Mar.

Thanks! All good, but my wife was mad at me because I had ice-cream after dinner and not her. But the hôtel was good, room was big enough we didn’t have to talk for all the night. The light to Read is too strong so again, when i want to Read and she wanted to sleep, she was mad. Bed is soft so be aware. Again. Wife was mad when i moved during the night.

We just stayed at the Pullman for 4 nights and had a wonderful visit! From the minute we arrived, we were welcomed by the outstanding front desk/lobby staff. They assisted with our parking to make our check-in seamless. They were also helpful in getting our two rooms close together which we appreciated very much. The bar, restaurant and housekeeping staff were exceptional. A special thank you to Camila and Lucas for taking the time to help us locate a store with local handcrafts, and their assistance to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is located in a perfect location and our rooms had a wonderful view of the ocean. The room/bathrooms were so comfortable and perfectly outfitted! All around a great visit!

We loved this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, the room was well-equipped, comfortable and had a sea view. It was conveniently located at the oceanfront and we were able to walk to many restaurants, shops and sites in Vina del Mar. We used it as a base so we could day-trip to other nearby areas, such as Valparaiso, Cachagua and Zapallar.

I had a great stay with my girlfriend at the Pullman. We stayed for a week and have nothing but good things to say. We had a Ocean View room and it was spectacular to hear the waves crashing against the beach all night long.
One night it rained non stop and our room started leaking from the roof. We called the front desk and were switched to another room right away. The next morning we noticed some water in the other room as well and due to this inconvenience the manager upgraded us for free to the larger ocean view suite for the rest of our stay! All staff throughout the trip were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet was very good and I would highly recommend including it in your stay. It is open from 7:00 to 10:30 during the week and 7:00 to 11:00 on weekends.

The hotel is near the beach, if you are looking for a place that you can walk to the beach this is it. Don't count on the hotel parking, since it is very limited. This hotel is nice and the breakfast buffet was really nice, but it is really noisy and it is in a crowded area. The hotel staff is really slow, so have a lot of patience.

BEFORE I ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL, I ALERTED TO THE HOSTER IN THE MAIN OFFICE THAT I HAD SURGERY ON MY SPINE AND MY RIGHT ARM, IT RESULTS THAT ON THE ROOF 8TH FLOOR OF THE HOTEL WHERE THE SWIMMING POOL AREA, THE ENTRANCE DOOR TO THAT FACILITY, DOES NOT HAVE AN AUTOMATIC OPENING SYSTEM FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, HOWEVER, IT DOES HAVE A BATHROOM FOR DISABLED PEOPLE, UNFORTUNATELY, I HAD AN ACCIDENT WITH THE DOOR THAT INJURED MY LEFT TOE RESULTING IN THE COMPLETE LOSS OF THE NAIL OF THE SAME WITH A CUT IN ADDITION.
