We loved the large room and the amazing view. It was also walking distance from food and fun and, of course, the beach. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The room smelled like smoke a bit at night, but opening the balcony door helped with that....but some mosquitoes got in that way. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

This place IS NOT was it used to be.....Every time I came to Chile I stayed at this place but for my next visit I will be looking for a new one. This hotel now is dirty a bad bad customer service. I am really disappointed. Many bad little things happened during my stay. Even the surrender areas are bad and made feel unsafe. Casino was terrible and almost impossible to get a drink. Overall \"Bad Experience\"

El check-in tardío es algo complicado.
Encontrar los enchufes a oscuras (las lámparas estaban
desenchufadas) fue muy molesto. Y resultó que los
enchufes estaban a nivel de piso, casi imposible para mi edad.

Overall it was a good stay. The breakfast staff was not that friendly but the hostess was really nice. Place was dirty on the outside/windows but the hotel room itself was clean and room service was great. Pool and gym are small but overall good. It was okay overall and would stay again but expected more for the price.

The hotel is old, the stff does not speak english, the rooms are really big but they are designed for the 60’s and 70’s, no power outlets avaiable near the bed. The balcony and toilet are very big and clean. The service wasn’t good, only in breakfast I could say it was better. Front Desk was terrible. A VIP Expedia that didn’t even mention any amenity. This is a fake VIP EXPEDIA Hotel.

Very Nice Experience

Our first time at the Casino Hotel was an overall excellent experience. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. We had a small problem with the air conditioning but the hotel service staff was very attentive in trying to fix the issue and it got resolved. Although a relatively pricey hotel, I would recommend it as it was a great stay with beautiful sea/coast views, a nice pool area, and is a great location from which to experience Vina del Mar.

Great location and accessibility. For those that like to go to Casinos, the hotel is adjacent to the Casino Of Viña. Pool was small and indoors but you are right in front of the beach. Great room wiTh sea view! Great time and the friendly and welcoming staff is an asset of this property.

I think this hotel needs to improve on a few things in order to be worth what they charge for a room. Whereas spa area is really nice, they lack basic amenities in the room such as a simple cup of tea. Staff near the casino area was rather rude after knocking my phone off a table, that is simply not acceptable

An old hotel overvaluated

Just on my arrival I was surprised by the lack of cleaning of reception and the ancient look of the sofas at the lobby. Then I got shock by the announcement of reception desk that my room had no ocean view as it said in Expedia while booking. The only reason why I went there. The room was spacious but looked to the city. The breakfast was a buffet with old bakery the only good thing was the coffee. Water in the top floor pool was freezing, that is why nobody swimming. This is a 3 stars hotel overvaluated.

When I arrived at Enjoy Vina Del Mar I had booked a Presidential Suite expecting the hardwood floors, spacious layout, ocean view, oversized balcony and modern furniture. What I received was grandma's old couch, horrible carpet and an explanation stating that the pictures shown here is from the Enjoy Hotel in southern Chile. Their supervisor offer my free breakfast to be brought to my room to make up for the mistake. I'd rather have what was advertised and what I paid for. The bathroom was possibly my favorite location of the hotel which also seemed to have the best wifi.

Nice hotel, connected to a casino, theater and nice restaurants. In front of the beach.
Staff was courteous and helped with whatever issues I had.
Nice welcome gift as an Expedia VIP + member hotel.
Swimming pool and gym also great.

Definite recommend if you're staying in Vina del Mar. Anytime of year.

Although we arrive at 1.30 pm , we were accommodated and given a room before the 4.00 pm check in. Jose Luis was kind enough to allow us to check-in earlier. The hotel is modern; the pool and the gym on the 8th floor has a magnificent view of the bay and the area. The restaurants are good.The hotel has also a casino

Arrived on time and were told to take a walk as room wasn't ready. A couple of strolls by the beach and 45 minutes later the room was still not ready. We were given a couple of courtesy drinks which no bartender knew how to handle. An hour after check-in we had to talk to upper management to get a supposedly better room that smelled of cigarettes... something I had not experienced in a few years. Breakfast was tasty and varied, however you need to be patient for the poor quality coffee they serve.

Room was huge and a complimentary champagne bottle was left in our room. Great location with tons of things to inside (the spa is very well equipped) and outside. Staff and management need to put their game together.

The hotel was great, but there were a few minor details and we're being picky since its a 5 star hotel. The room could be more modern and extra towels would have been nice. However, what bothered us most was the 20% tax surcharge (only applicable to Chileans) we got at checkout which wasnt mentioned to us at all when we checked in.

Wonderful location

The hotel has a wonderful location and it's very convenient to visit Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. Our room has a great views to the sea and the Wolf Castle. The breakfast is complete. The car park is free for customers, so a plate to come again.
Close to the hotel there are many restaurants to have dinner and the beach to stroll along.

Expected a good service, but not.

- They didn't found our reservation and we need wait for more than one hour to make checkin (the receptionist had a \"bad moon\").
- After the check in, we discovery that our room have a different bed and we need comeback to reception to request a change.
- The air-conditioned system didn't work and after call two times a services room, a man from reception come to check it and after 5 minutes it work
- They don't have a directory services book/paper. If you want to know how use the spa, the pool or take the breakfast, you need call o go to reception (again) to ask and take note for yourself.

we had a bad surprise when the hotel charge in the credit card extra money for \"casualties\" . Of course nothing happend. and when we did check out and asked for this situation, they said the money will be return on 48 hours. Very weird situation, why the hotel keep passengers money for 2 days if nothing happend? Don't like this situation, we don't come back again.

Service Was Bad Overall, Hotel itself verall Good

Good:
- Bathroom had both a nice tub and shower and there was good attention to design detail.
Not Great:
There is overall in the entire hotel a little less attention to functionality and coziness detail in things like: light and plug-in design and placement, height of the patio rail to see the sunset from the bed or couch, patio light also stayed on all night and was bright - harder to enjoy sunrise naturally, the bathroom was nice but could have been cozier.
Bad Service:
The main item that was not desirable though was the Service overall. Several of the main from desk service personal where somewhat condescending and also gave the impression that they were going out of their way to do their basic job duties.
- The main issue was efficiently and knowledgeably of front desk staff to work booking tweaks - we accidentally booked a Standard vs Superior room our second night and wanted to upgrade. We has to call and work with front desk multiple time and they could not figure it out (over a about $30 difference) from the first night to the second morning. Any other hotel would have easily made the upgrade with 5-10 min. Anyway long story shorter, we spent 45 min the first night and then 30 min late-morning the next morning when we received basically a threatening call that we needed to come down immediately and pay what we owed, which was $32 - which I had already paid and sent to them via Hotels.com the night before.

Nice Hotel for couples

I've had a very good experience, I 've stayed 3 or 4 times here. First time we stayed there, we had an issue with smoke smell, even when we booked for a non smoking room but they attempted to solved, and since do not smoke law began is amazing how clear and fresh smells the entire hotel.

disappointed in friendliness of staff in swimming pool area. maybe if you spoke spanish you might be looked after and your requests carried out. why have a spa with no water in it? why have fabulous jets at the end of the pool that can only be used.... who knows when? we were not good enough to get them on.
the room, the view, the sunset, the food in nearby restaurants, the walks along the coast - all fabulous.

Excellent Pre-cruise hotel

We were very happy with everything -- in particular we loved the ocean view. We are not gamblers so we appreciated that we did not have to walk through the casino to get to our rooms or dining room. The front desk staff were very helpful.
We stayed at the Hotel del Mar in Vina before joining our cruise ship in Valparaiso because we could not find any hotels that seemed to be of similar quality in Valparaiso on the internet. We had no problem getting to the port in the morning of our departure.

Entretanto, Elevadores lentos, o barulho do exaustor do banheiro irritante e ensurdecedor e sem opção de desligá-lo, o banheiro, apesar de muitas lâmpadas, falta iluminação central, móveis velhos. O 1° quarto que nos forneceram o ar cond não funcionava, e foi muito dificil convencer as pessoas para a troca de apartamento, até que reconheceram que de fato o ar condicionado não funcionava. Estranhamente, no quarto havia uma cafeteiteira, mas somente fornecem cápsulas de café (2) para o primeiro dia! Café da manhã, repetitivo e ruim, pouquíssimas opções salgadas e muitas opções doces, sucos integráveis de tão doces, iogurtes muito líquidos, somente sem lactose ou light. Considerando o padrão do hotel, tem muito para melhorar.

En general el hotel es muy lindo , sus instalaciones buenas , disfruté mucho la piscina , el cacino y santerra en el desayuno , pero le falta mantención , con éste punto le baja lo de 5 estrellas , el personal muy amable . Tambien fué una desilucion la orden de almuerzo a la habitacion, sopa fría, ensalada césar marchita absolutamente, carne muy cruda a pesar que se pidió cocida. En resumen muy caro para sus servicios que no llegan a 5 estrellas .

Estuve en la habitación 501, esta da una vista hacia el sector de la ciudad y parcialmente hacia al mar.
Lo positivo: Es un hotel bastante limpio, conectado evidentente con el casino, un buen frigo bar, desayuno incluido con varias opciones. A unos pasos de transporte en común, restaurantes y el camino costero entre Viña, Valparaiso, Reñaca, Concon.la velocidad del Internet (wifi) es excelente

Lo que menos me gustó: Al llegar al hotel el servicio de la primera recepcionista no fué para nada el esperado, al parecer era nueva en el hotel, pero aún así, parecía estar más interesada en su celular que en atendernos, su colega muy amablemente completó el proceso de registro y le enseño a la aparentemente nueva recepcionista a terminarlo, no obstante esta no se vió muy interesada en aprender , más bien en su celular.
En la habitación, y no sé porqué, el hôtel habia trasformado el sofá en una cama que no necesitabamos.
La habitación no tenía o no logré encontrar puertos USB o enchufes cerca de la cama para cargar nuestros celulares. Estás obligado a dormir con las cortinas cerradas, ya que el hotel tiene unos focos en la terraza de la habitación que la iluminan por completo y evidentemente no te dejan dormir , entonces olvidate de querer despertar con la vista del mar. Y si bien es completamente personal, no me agrada cuando el botones te dice \"necesita que le ayude\", ya que la verdad no lo necesito, en su lugar debería decir, \"me gustaría ayudarle o puedo ayudarle \"

Calidad 3 estrellas.

Estadia ok, no para lo que se supone que es. no había carta de roomservice disponible y el wifi es horrible. Necesitaba hacer mis trabajos en línea y no pude por la pésima calidad de internet.
Limpieza regular. Buena vista eso se destaca. Comida ok pero habían moscas en el bufé.

Amamos a experiência

O Enjoy é maravilhoso. É verdade que é um hotel antigo e o que senti falta foram... tomadas! Mas nada que atrapalhe a excelente experiência. O quarto é enorme, enorme mesmo, com uma cama king deliciosa, uma varanda debruçada pro mar (todos os quartos tem varanda com vista para o mar) e um banheiro com banheira separada e 2 pias. O café da manhã é excelente. A entrada do cassino é paga, mas os hóspedes tem acesso gratuito. De vez em quando o sistema não funcionava, mas a recepção resolvia rapidinho. A piscina aquecida na cobertura é 10! Todos os colaboradores muito atenciosos. No entorno do hotel existem vários restaurantes, bares, etc. Não é um hotel barato, ainda mais que são pocos quartos, mas valeu cada centavo.
