This Hotel has a shabby appearance from the outside. The picture is way better than it actually looks.Windows are dirty the location is central but not that close to the sea.Better value is pro ably available. Having said this the hotel seemed popular with guests on organised tours

The hotel is along a busy and well traveled street in the heart of Viña. I expected it to be noisy but the hotel was quiet and it was well designed for those who expect a higher quality from their accommodations. I will return here and spend more time here since it is so very convenient.

The hotel was ok for a short stay, clean and staff were nice. Only cons was it’s so noisy being on the main road, we needed the window open as there is no aircon so didn’t sleep well due to all night road traffic, outdated hotel.

Pleasant stay in Viña del Mar

In general the hotel is good, if a little dated. Cleanliness is top notch, good shower, adequate breakfast, good coffee. Staff is very nice and helpful. One negative is poor internet. This is an area where there is rooom for improvement.

No puedo decir que pésima, porque a pesar del anuncio, no existió.
La muy débil señal no servía ni para un WhatsApp.
Lo reporté jueves noche: \"ya lo vamos a revisar\"
Viernes día: \"Lo voy a reportar para que cuando regresen esté bien\", íbamos a un tour.
Viernes 9pm: \"¿cómo, no lo arreglaron? Ya lo voy a resetear, tome una clave nueva, si el problema continua me llama\"
Mismo viernes 1 hora después (10pm): \"no tiene Internet? A mi no me han dicho nada. A esta hora no puedo hacer nada. Mañana un técnico revisa\" Yo: ya mañana nos vamos. Gracias.
Recepción: \"Seguro el router que está en la habitación de al lado lo desconectaron. Pero mañana lo arreglan.
Limpieza: use zapatos dentro de la habitación. La alfombra no se ha lavado en al menos meses.
Amabilidad: Solo Valentina de Recepción puso buena cara. El resto bien amargados.
Piénselo mejor. Relación calidad precio: terrible.

Incidente con personal de seguridad maleducado, se reportó pero no hubo mayor respuesta aparte de excusas. Esperaba compensación al menos.

This is the best 'Best Western' hotel we have ever stayed at. Free underground parking, breakfast included, rooms are large with big beds, the cleaning service is excellent, very helpful and friendly staff. Good value highly recommend. Centrally located within walking distance to everything.

Nice North American style hotel. The rooms were spacious, good beds, and the staff were helpful. Most spoke some English. Overall, a great location and a nice place to stay.

It is a very centric hotel, nice rooms but please try to get the inner rooms, not the ones on the street side because it is noisy. First room we got was smelly but we ask for change and they did it right away. Room service food is OK but don't ask for antipasto or chicken sate, those are very bad.

Bad location, bad food, too many noise

We arrived at the hotel and there was no room available so we have to wait till 3:30 pm.

Breakfast was cold and with no variety.

We couldn’t sleep well because they were under construction in other floors so the noise was terrible.

This is the first hotel I have stayed in, where tissue paper is not provided in the rooms. When we rang for tissue paper, twice, we were finally told that the hotel had run out of tissue paper. This is unbelievable for a Best Western Hotel!!!

view was of a brick wall

ok hotel from a big American chain so expect more and got less. you would be better off getting a nice apartment style room in a local condo for less money and nicer accomodations. Our room literally looked out onto a brick wall. Then the hotel charged us twice on our credit card and I am still trying to get properly reimbursed. Vina del Mar is a lively coastal town and liked it but would not stay here again.

Everyone was very pleasant with a special mention to Sergio in the restaurant who was an absolute gem.
The only real negative was that the bar and restaurant both closed at 5:30 on Xmas Eve.

Would have been a 5 star rating had the A/C worked and staff been more helpful. Room didnt get any cooler than 24°C/75°F. Hotel staff didnt really care. They just said \"guest usually like the room a little warm so we should be fine with the temperature, and we could always open the window and see if it got better\". They refuse to give us a different room or offering us a fan. It gets hot out and its very noisy so opening the window isnt really a solution. Other than that, hotel is pretty good, breakfast is good, comfy beds, good wifi, good location.

stayed for business. Internet spotty...frequently offline. Not a good choice if connectivity is an issue. Terrible view of corrugated rooftop (which was the entire view). Restaurant and breakfast was a lovely respite from room.

My only complain is about the check-in; i arrive at the hotel at 14:00 and the told me that i have to wait until 15:00 to get the room (nothing wrong with that). The problem is that at 15:40 the room was still not avaliable for me. It was about 15:50 that they gave me the room keys.

Everything else, was ok.

Good location

The hotel was very nice. Breakfast was very good. Only had a little problem with the air conditioner and couldn't get it straightened out during our stay. Staff was very nice and let us store our luggage on day of departure.

Nice Hotel- great location

Great experience, hotel was in a great location. Great staff and clean room! I would also definitely recommend buffet breakfast- convenient and variety! Only downside was wifi connection was quiet poor in the bedroom, however downstairs in the lobby wifi was fine. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

We had some difficulty finding the hotel, but this was not the hotel's fault; rather, Google had us going to a different Ecuador Street! The staff was very helpful at this hotel, and they gave us good advice for getting around in Vina del Mar and Valparaiso. We recommend this for as a solid choice for a hotel in this area. The only downside is that both the cities of Vina del Mar and Valparaiso are somewhat \"faded\" in their luster. These cities were both much more elegant one hundred years ago, due to the trade (and money) at that time. Now they both appear somewhat run-down. One tour book stated that Vina del Mar is like Monaco - not true!

Good hotel in a so-so neighborhood

The hotel is OK, but it is placed in a busy and decaying part of the city, which has seen better days. The hotel is smaller that one would think--credit is due to the photographer who managed to make it look like a 5-star in the pictures in their web site. Rooms are spacious and accommodations good, clean and comfy, with not-so-nice views. Excellent breakfast included in the price (which was fair), and the staff is also excellent. Internet was free, but rather slow and I had a weak signal in my room, having to walk around to get a connection. A good experience overall, but next time I would go to a hotel in a nicer place in the city.
