The million dollars of beautiful view from my room, although the bathroom was awkward I never see, no shower curtain, only half of the glass door, when we took a bath, water was all over the floor, we had to be very careful , the beds were very comfy. The Hilton has myriad of requirements for using the pool and hot springs. It's not possible just to walk into the pool area and start using it. We couldn't even see the pool because we were not appropriately attired, meaning we weren't wearing swimming clothes. The rooms are small and so are the bathroom and enclosed toilet.

I love the beautiful scenery, the wonderful activities from the karaoke, bowling, tennis/badminton, and especially the onsen. The shuttle bus from the Nebukawa station is really helpful to get to the hotel without walking about 30 minutes from the station.

A great place to chill near Hakone Fuji
An absolutely fabulous hotel with the very best of decor and staff customer care. Extensive grounds and an amazing aray of sporting facilities and spa areas. Top quality food in extremely comfortable surroundings and an excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel provided an efficient shuttle service to both a local rail station and the larger Odawara major train station.

This was our second year staying at this hotel. The location is excellent, and the combination of sea and forest is really lovely. Last year it was excellent in every respect. This year, however, it was so crowded with families and young children that navigating the breakfast area was really a challenge. 1. One staff member chased down a (Japanese) family with small children getting ready for the onsen, all the way up to the lockers asking, \"Are they wearing diapers? Diapers are not allowed!\" The mom looked visibly upset to have been singled out and approached as she said no. The children also looked afraid they did something wrong. She gave a very cursory \"shitsurei shimashita\". I've never witnessed such direct confrontation from a hotel staff member in all my years in Japan.

I chose this hotel to take my mum with walking problem. They have spacious, clean swimming center and onsen hot spring in the connected annex. Our room was on the 8th floor and had an amazing view of Sagami Bay. It suited our purpose but it is NOT a place to get about by public transport. It is isolated on the hill and their free shuttle bus runs only once every hour to Odawara. However for a quiet, relaxing few days, it was perfect for us! Breakfast had a big selection and the staff were very friendly. (Special thanks to Aziz-san!)

Everything was fine - however there is clearly a problem with either Hilton's IT systems, or Orbitz's IT systems... When I booked through Orbitz - I booked for myself, my wife and 4 kids. The kids ages are 15, 11, 9 and 5 - which you are required to input through Orbitz's site. I booked, and paid about a month in advance.
However, when I arrived, I was told that Hilton's booking system said that I had booked for 2 adults and 4 pre-school aged kids, and then they asked me for extra fees totaling more than 75,000JPY!! In the end, I didn't have to pay this - however, but it did put my stay off to a bad start. There is clearly something wrong with either Hilton's booking system, or Orbitz's booking system, or the API that connects the two or something.

The ocean view is beautiful. Howevet, the shower water pressure in the room was too weak. If you want to use the tennis court, golf driving range or miniature golf you have to pay more; should be provided for free. The bottled water tasted more like tap water than mineral water. The long hallway on the 3F towards the onsen and public shower area needs better lighting and probably a rennovation. The quality of the breakfast and dinner was sub par. The mattress is nothing like the Hilton in NYC for example; its ok but not amazing.

Many services were closed because of Covid but it didn't matter really. The pool was amazing and the onsen was a big plus. The room was very comfortable (half japanese tatami room) and large. Also so many activities around that you don't really need to go anywhere else. The restaurants and the night shop were expensive. Will come back when all the services are available.

Make sure you check the bedding configuration when booking with kids! We paid extra for our 6 year old to have an additional bed but when we arrived we were told that she was to share existing bedding. There was also an issue with plumbing in one of our rooms.

I made the hotel reservations thru Expedia for two rooms and when we checked in at the hotel on October 20, 2018, they told me that I had made reservations for 3 rooms and it was too late to cancel the third room and I would have to pay for the extra room, but they will contact Expedia to find out if this was a mistake. When we checked out of the hotel on October 22.the problem was not resolved. When I got home, I contacted Expedia and they will try to resolve my problem.

This hotel has an excellent swimming pool area, one of the best we have seen in our many travels. The pool is very warm and has different areas for indoor/outdoor swimming. Additional recreation facilities with a bowling alley and games room that will keep the family entertained. Aziz on the front desk took care of all of our needs and went beyond the call of duty to make our stay memorable. The staff were there to wave good bye to us as our shuttle to the train station disappeared out of sight. It was like leaving your family. Great stay and spectacular grounds.

Very courteous and polite staff. The hotel has all necessary facilities to enjoy a relaxed stay in hotel itself. There are multiple pools and very good. I had travelled with my 7 month old daughter, very thankful to the hotel staff who helped to sterilize the baby bottles whenever we wanted. The children play area is also excellent. Recommended to visit with family, hope to visit sometime again.

Dinner buffet a total rip off. $100 per person and all meat was dry and tempura soggy. Really poor variety. Staff doesn’t speak much English. Ended up having a shiatsu massage wearing my jeans because they could not offer a yukata and there was no privacy. During half of the massage heard a vending machine being refilled. For the price you pay here you could have a much more genuine relaxing Japanese ryokan/Onsen experience.

Very nice hotel - somewhat out of the way location with amazing views of ocean. Hourly shuttles into town (20 minute ride) made it easy to get there and back. Loved the Japanese style western rooms..essentially a western mattress on a raised platform, with Japanese inspired furniture and decorations. Staff was top notch!

It's a bit rural, the amenities are amazing! There's a regular shuttle to the Nebukawa train station, from which you can go anywhere; the times are posted right outside the station and the pickup area is directly outside the gate. Be aware that a small portion of the amenities are seasonal. The pool area is good for kids and adults with a nice variety. Almost hard to describe, has to be experienced. The pictures on the site don't do this place justice. I'm not a pool type person but I enjoyed it. The hot springs area is gender-separated.
