Location was excellent. Very clean room and great staff. Breakfast was substantial with many hot dishes you would expect to find in a restaurant for lunch or dinner. Given the choice, we would have preferred a simpler breakfast option of cereal and orange juice. A short train or taxi ride would take you to the Taipei City Mall. It is huge, All underground and complete with a high end department store spread over 2 floors. The food hall is incredible with excellent choices and very reasonable prices. You could easily spend a day underground!

I give K hotel a 3 star rating. Here is the breakdown.
1. Breakfast buffet - 4 stars. It's not fancy but it does cover all the basics - daily fruits, salad, soybean milk, juices, breads and mochi, porridge and frequent fish dishes.
2. Free laundry, 24-hour free tea and coffee and snacks - 4 stars. You don't need to bring so many clothes due to its free laundry.
3. Room space - 3 stars - We didn't have enough space for all our luggages.
4. Layout out of separate toilet room, bathtub and shower - 4 stars
5. Towels and bedsheets - 2 stars - Old, thin and wornout
6. Cleaniness - 3 stars - It's clean but no one came to clean the room and dumped the garbage on the second day. But afterwards, it was cleaned everyday.
7. Front desk service - 1 star - Hardly saw any smiles. Also, we arrived very early - 7:30 am. We understand that the check-in time is 3:00 pm. We left our luggages and went out to coffee. We went back to meet up with our family members and went out again to lunch. By 2:00 pm, we went back to the hotel and sat at the lobby (It's very small. The front desk staff should have no problem to see us just 10 feet away) waiting for 3:00 pm. Someone who came later than us went up to the desk and got a room. That made me upset because the lady didn't call us who have been sitting and waiting. When I went up to complain, the lady told me there was no room yet. Thankflly, a guy (maybe manager) intervened and got us a room. It wasn't fair. It should be first come, fist serve.

I had a great experience staying in this hotel K hotel Taipei II, close to night market, MRT stations, bus stops, shops, and banks. The high floor executive room offered me space, comfort, and view of Zhongshan boulevard with trees.

Great for the value. Bed is clean, bathroom is great we allowed our 2 year old boy to use bathtub and had a little water play. Breakfast was decent. Our room heater wasnt working. On the second day we feedbacked this to the receptionist and a small portable heater was sent to our room almost immediately. It helped maintain room temperature at around 22.5 throughout the night. Flankly it was still cold for us (we came from singapore where whole year temperature is at least 27) but it was good effort we appreciate it. We also stayed in hilton during this trip totally no heater issue with hilton but i paid half of the price to stay in K hotel (U$200 in hilton per night v U$110 in K hotel per night) so no complaint for the price i paid for K hotel.

The bathroom is nice and make you feel comfortable. Only the sofa cleanliness need to improve.

It would be much appreciated if the security level improved by the guest required the room card to go to the certain level of the room booked, in order to raise the security level, esp at night.

I almost don’t want to share this review as I want to be able to book this place next time I go to Taiwan. It’s newly renovated, the room I got was huge, the bed is super comfortable, fast Wifi, free breakfast, free laundry, great service, great location, what else can I say, book this place now, you won’t regret it.

Hotel is clean, newly renovated and only about 10 minutes walk to subway station. Courteous staff. Very good selection of buffet breakfast with choice of western and eastern style.
We stayed in a large room with 2 king sized bed and plenty of space for the 3 of us. The toilet is conveniently separated from the tub and shower. The only drawback is there are no windows! The room is completely dark with the lights out and felt a bit claustrophobic. Can't recall if this was stated when the reservation was made. Will definitely request a room with windows if we ever return.

What a great hotel with a professional caring staff. Front desk, service and breakfast crew were all fantastic. This hotel is in a great location and convenient to metro. The breakfast here is the best I have seen anywhere in Asia. They have it all; Chinese and Western dishes. The selection was great and taste like a 4 star restaurant. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Taiwan. I highly recommend this hotel.

Central location. Close to train station, Starbucks. Can reach Pokestop from the room. But hotel was under renovation. Windows covered with scaffolding. Water being turned off during the day. Room smelled musty when I entered. Turns out bathroom ceiling had black mold. Was glad I was only there one night and heading out before the water was being turned off for the day.

I stayed for one night, and booked a second, because the level of comfort and service was so good. After that, I went sightseeing in the countryside for a night, but the staff at K Hotel II looked after my heavy luggage while I was away, and I stayed another night on return. The breakfast was great, too!

Rooms is relatively huge compared to the typical room size in Taipei. Also, the price is acutely affordable. The staff are generally friendly and helpful though the breakfast selection is limited. Nonetheless, it was good with a blend of western and local delicacies.

The bathroom was also spacious, and included a bidet toilet seat. Room amenities included instant coffee, tea, and refrigerator. Bathroom amenities included a razor, toothbrush, and shower cap, among the other usual amenities.

However, the shower room door was faulty and it is not easily to open and close without lifting it up; regrettably they fixed it by tearing off water stopper during the period we stayed.

Furthermore, the ceiling light bulb was keep dropping which made us worrisome. The windows also were not very clean and dusty.

Would definitely recommend friends/colleagues visiting Taipei to stay there and will stay there again!

Nice hotel close to everything

Hotel is in excellent location close to subway, convenient stores and restaurants. The staff are nice and accommodating especially with our late checkout. Stayed 4 days, the breakfast was substantial with different dishes each day. The shower has excellent pressure, and the toilet was a pleasant surprise! Overall a great experience and would recommend staying at this hotel.

Enjoyable anniversary stay

Stayed for 4 nights. Room was spacious compared with Taiwan hotels, big and well equipped bathroom with shower and bath, we didn't have breakfast so no comment about this, walking distance to two of the night market nearby; staff is good especially the housekeeping. Only downside is a bit old and found some dust of the blanket at the first day and cleaned by myself.

For its price, KSuite was really value for money. Toilet was well furnished, actually it was the main highlight of the room. With a bathtub and a shower, a bidet toilet, sufficient toiletries and fresh towels, nothing to complain about it.

My one complaint would be, the television. All the channels are blurry and unable to view clearly. Poor reception I guess.

Location, directly opposite a starbucks, and behind it was actually a food street that is less known by tourist. about 200m away from a Hi-life mart, and 300m away from 7-11, watsons and mcdonalds.

Staff, well, not as polite as other hotels that I have stayed in Taiwan. Kind of in a rush to answer and sounds impatient. Not as proactive or enthusiastic to help either.

Check in was easy and quick, got our room right away. And the room was very clean, modern design, with proper cooling/heating. There was also ample space for 2 big guys to move around. Breakfast was great, choices between asian and western dishes. Coffee is available 24 hours. Staff was also great, especially the kind ladies in the breakfast area. Location-wise, a bit of walking to the nearest train station, maybe 10 mins.

Fantastic stay!

This is my 2nd stay at the hotel during this trip. I stayed once before and once after. It is a fantastic hotel with excellent service. The front desk ladies were extremely helpful, they searched for all the places that I wanted to visit and wrote them in Chinese on a paper for the taxi driver. The rooms are spacious and clean and the price is so affordable. I was worried that the walls would be thin like new hotels but as this is a refurbish hotel, its walls are thick and blocks away the noise. On both occasions I booked the suites and they came with bath tubs. Would recommend anyone visiting Taipei to stay there and will definitely stay there again!

Great & Afforable Hotel in Taipei

Stayed twice during my trip to Taiwan, once at the start and once again at the end before flying off. Booked Suites on both occasions, it was spacious with a small living area. The beds are comfortable and the amenities are good. There was even a bath tub in my room (unfortunately, the Jacuzzi on the 2nd stay was not working). My old qualm is that the seals on the shower room are old and water sips out, so I was worried about my grandma slipping.

Service is fantastic, the ladies at the front counter replied to all my queries. There are airport buses that bring you straight from Taoyuan too! Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Taipei and will definitely stay there again.

A taxi driver told me that it used to be a Japanese hotel, not sure about it though but I liked it a lot!

ランドリーも宿泊者は無料でつかえます。
食堂も綺麗で日本のホテルのようなブッフェタイプでパン、ごはん、サラダ、おかず、スープがあります。スタッフさんの気遣いも素晴らしく一つの不満もありません。お部屋も快適でトイレ、風呂、ベッド全てに手入れが行き届いていました。徒歩10分圏内に食事や病院、郵便局、薬局など買い物.駅があるので急な買い物も不自由なく過ごせました。

案内も日本語表示がところどころあり、日本語が話せる方も受付にいたので助かりました。wifiは弱いです。

・毎日同じ料金を支払っているのに、部屋のアメニティ　やバーの品数が違っていた。
・日本語対応とあったのに、フロントのスタッフーは、　日本語は熟達していなかった。
・領収書を求めたが、Expediaからの領収書と言われた、もらえなかった。ホテル側が出している領収書が欲しかった。Expediaの領収書のサイトもわかりにくかった。
・ハンドタオルがなっかた。バスタオルもフェイスタオルも古くて異臭がしていた。
・滞在中は雨のため、軒下なのかどうかわからなかいが、ポトポトと雨だれの音がして寝にくかった。
・エレベータが2台あったが、地下のレストランに行くエレベータは１台だけで不便であった。
・地下のレストランがラウンジを兼ねていること知らなった。６日間宿泊して、３日目にラウンジであることがわかった。初日に説明が欲しかった。その場所は、薄暗いので、使用してはいけないのかともったりもしして、使用しにくかった。

駅から7,8分歩きますが、2路線が使えて、台北駅にもすぐ行けるし、便利です。歩いていける夜市もあり、駅２つで士林夜市にも行けます。ホテルも清潔でとても快適でした！ネスプレッソが置いてあるのも嬉しかったです。ランドリーは洗濯機2台、乾燥機2台で、夜はなかなか空いていないことも多いですが、午前中は空いています。洗剤は置いてあるのでそれも使えて便利です。
