If you want somewhere comfortable, clean, or quiet, you should stay somewhere else. The only redeeming quality was the location.

The entire hotel smelled incredibly musty and mouldy, there was clearly a significant moisture issue, the beds were incredibly hard, and the staff was not very helpful in offering anything to make our stay more comfortable. We ended up sleeping on the futon in the room because it was more comfortable than the bed. Even then, we had to pile up blankets on it to make it serviceable.

Learn from our mistake and don’t ignore the bad reviews. From our experience, those are the only ones that provide an accurate representation of the state of this place.

Taipei was wonderful, just not this hotel.

Yomi Hotel is a tired, dingy hotel in a great location. There were many signs of water damage, peeling laminate, musty old carpets, and generally a hotel that is past its prime. Nothing was outrageous. The sheets were clean but the mattress was too firm. There were both feather and memory foam pillows available and the duvet was comfortable. Our room had an air conditioning panel as well as a dehumidifier which rattled quite a lot until I cleaned the air filter myself (it was quite nasty and hadn't been changed in a while). As others have said, the gap under the door is quite large and lets in both light and sound from the hallway. Decor is quite cutesy and dated. I appreciated that we could drop our luggage early in the morning before check-in.

Easy inexpensive transport from airport on one bus with very short walk (bus 1819). We booked a large double room and the space is good. Reliable hot water, frig and electric kettle in room - great! Fab area full of shops and eateries. The hotel and room are a bit worn, which I mention because that matters to some. However it's clean and very good for me. Would stay again.

The property is very nice and warm for visitors. It has an activity room in the basement. My kids loves the free drinking and massage chair. The location is convenient to many sightseeings vis MTR. It is walkable to the NingXia night market.

The basement facility or lounge had some refreshments and snacks (games and kid area) that were nice. My air conditioning just was not working properly. It couldn't get warm but the staff was nice to provide a portable heater. The water kettle was also not working after too. For the price I paid I just wished the room had better working equipment. Otherwise if it was lower price I wouldn't complain. Location is convenient and close to many dining and transportation options.

Falsely advertised free laundry room, free breakfast, and free off-property wifi-- none offered. Staff excellent and location good. Room walls and ceiling, divider shade, sink, and bathroom all ridden with mildew that could be easily cleaned with bleach water solution. Tub leaked onto floor as caulking faulty and mildewed. Laundry room smelled very, very musty due to dirty washing machine interiors.

Front desk is always friendly and very helpful. We have a handicapped accessible room where the shower is open to the rest of the bathroom without any door or separation. It’s fantastic for those who are handicapped but whole bathroom is wet once the shower is used. Recommend to put a shower curtain to prevent water splashing to the rest of the bathroom creating slip and fall hazard and still providing easy handicapped accessible function.

Have mix feelings. On one hand was the staff efficient and amazing . The room I had was old and needed renovating. Desk was broken and wobbly and furniture needing repair. Carpets were a bit worn as well. Luckily I was out most of the time, but the bed was firm and amazing. Water pressure was questionable. I don’t quite understand why so many people gave it such rave reviews.

Great central spot to stay with plenty to do nearby. Close to MRT station. Yomi provided facilities above and beyond our expectations which was fantastic. The bed was a little hard, but that is a preference for some. The room was great and clean. We stayed for a week here and it was a great hub for us to relax in amidst a busy travel week.

The hotel isn't bad, but my room was too small, the floor have some pieces missed.
There is only one small drawer on the left but nothing on the right.
The double bed was formed by 2 mattresses and for that reason have an uncomfortable space in the middle.
Oversize tv for the room too close to the bed.
Bathroom with just one small hanger.
The basement wasn't bad, there is free water coffee and tea.
I think is good for 1 or 2 night but no more.

Hotel is centrally located, close walk to the closest MRT station and multiple bus stops. There's a laundry machine for guest use, and a large lounge area in the basement for guests. Staff were friendly and helpful, and also offers luggage storage as needed. Room was clean and comfy. I will definitely return next time I'm in Taipei!

It's within walking distance of Shuanglian MRT station. Two convenience stores right next to the hotel building.
Unfortunately, the room we stay in has cockroaches in the sunna room and bedroom. The carpet seems never steam cleaned before. A lot of dirty marks are on top of it. And the beds are too firm to sleep in. I won't recommend to any of my friends for sure.

出差住了一晚，checkin 服務友善，飯店走廊跟房間的大門看得出有點年紀，不過浴空跟房間部分配置都有翻新過，整體算舒適乾淨，房間空間也足夠。床邊有提供充電線可是不能用。最主要的問題是隔音，可以聽到隔壁電視的聲音，睡到一半被吵醒。

No value for the amount I paid for the room.
Besides the basic toiletries there was no writing pad & pen. The toilet has a very unpleasant odour. With the same amount of money, I rather choose Sunworld Dynasty Hotel.
However, I would like to compliment the honest chambermaid who is not covetous. The sum of money I accidentally dropped on the room floor was put back on the table.

Bathroom look terrible and have leaking problem . Rubbish bin is small and broken. It can not auto open,I need to use hand to open it everytime. The plug next to bed isn’t working,have to use the one on TV to charge my phone battery. Room light is dark . The other room look nice but not mine . This is an affordable option if staying in the Taipei area. It’s closed to transportation and has some good options for food nearby. They offer a decent selection for free breakfast and provides free laundry, which is a huge plus. Additionally, there are complimentary water and snacks. Overall the room is a large size and the beds are comfortable.

The only negatives is the condition of the bathroom. It’s outdated, the toilet seat doesn’t quite fit the toilet. The shelf to put towels was slightly broken, and there were black spots behind the sink faucet and near the ceiling of the shower. The other negative is that in the dresser draw they put condoms there, which was indicated on another review. If your guests will be a family with small children, maybe it’s best not to put that in the room.

Overall it was a pleasant stay, but I do recommend an update to the bathrooms and to avoid putting certain complimentary items in the room, based on the guests that will be staying in the room.

Yomi Hotel is centered in the heart of Taipei. Less than 2 blocks away from the Shuanglian station, we can get to anywhere super quick. The hotel staff were all friendly and multilingual. Complimentary breakfast, snacks and water were all graciously accepted during our travels as well. I would definitely go back and I would recommend others to book here as well.

2019 Easter Break in Taiwan

They have electronic-motorbike to lease which helps the short trip more comfortable. But they don't have a parking lot for visiting guest's motorbike to park which is a bit disappointing. At the last day before departure I have found the laundry facility at B1 with washing powder which makes clothes washing a pleasant work to do. They even provide instance noodles in the room which makes my daughter very happy.

We 3 couples booked this hotel for 3 days and had a very good time in the hotel . We all liked the hotel's convenience to everywhere, free laundry and free coffee & tea 24/7, free and fresh breakfast buffet , free-carried hotel's cell phone in every room and free for local AND international calls, on site bicycle rental. We loved it at Yomi Hotel! the location was great - it was close to an MRT station, and a night market was located just a little further from the MRT.

Although the breakfast provided was not wonderful, there were several other eateries in the area that provided alternatives for breakfast and other meals.

The room itself was quite large and though the toilet looked quite old, it was fully functional and clean. Overal, it’s been a pleasant and comfortable stay!

Great stay at Yomi hotel

Pros: the service is amazing with so many freebies; free breakfast, in room snack, free use of mobile & portable wifi, free use of the washing machine, free use of the bicycle too. There are also massage chair on the basement & I had a toddler with me so the games area with lego & video game is great for entertainment since he didn't want to come with me to do some shopping.
We were switching hotels in Taipei and went to Taichung for 3 days and Yomi let us left some of our luggage for 2 days before checking in.
Room wise, I totally love the bathroom, they have bidet on the toilet that can keep the seat warm, and my son really likes the bathtub.
Location is great. Walking distance from Shuanglian station with shops on the way. Walk a little bit more to the other side and there's a small night market. We also tried the beef noodle restaurant across the station and it's delicious.

Cons: Breakfast is so so, but the uncle that greets the guests are very nice. I forgot to bring my breakfast voucher but he let me eat so I don't have to back to my room to get it, maybe also because I'm wearing my pj's so he knew I was staying there? :p
The room is a bit dirty, I found some orange seed on the carpet when we checked in, but we're not fussy people and they provide room slippers.

Overall we really enjoy our stay at Yomi Hotel, the service is great and the price is very affordable. Totally recommend this hotel for Taipei.

We have stayed at Yomi for last three visits. The hotel is well located. Breakfast has limited food -
In fact has significantly deteriorated compared to our last stay - we were shocked at the change. Staff at the reception desk is a hit and miss. Our bathroom was very mouldy and old looking. The taxi service that the hotel organised for our airport transfer was very dear, compared to when we organised our own pickup (i.e. we were charged $25USD more for the trip!).

It's japanese style and given the price, it's worthy. However, there is a musky smell to the room which I think is due to previous occupants who smoked. The area is convenient with Ningxia night market within walking distance and eateries nearby. Shuanglian mrt is within 5-7 min walk.

結論から言うとコストパフォーマンスが最高で、次回の台北旅行でもまたここに泊まりたいと思えるホテルでした。

アクセス：駅から徒歩5分ほどと非常に近く、雨の日でもほぼ濡れずに到着できます。

周辺環境：コンビニが周辺にたくさんあり、ちょっとした買い物に困りません。

観光：朝市も夜市も徒歩圏内で、台北の食文化を朝から晩まで満喫できます。

部屋：建物自体は少し年季が入っていますが、清潔感があり、滞在中に不便を感じることは全くありませんでした。大きなスーツケース2つを余裕で広げられるスペースがあり、荷造りもストレスフリーでした。

その他：ホテルのすぐ近くに技術が素晴らしい足ツボマッサージ店が多数あります。1日歩き回った疲れをその日のうちにリセットできるのは、大きなメリットだと思います。

総評：おしゃれな最新ホテルではありませんが、清潔さ、部屋の広さ、立地、そして価格のバランスがとても良いです。おすすめできるホテルです。

室内は清潔で、使いやすかったです。
洗面所にコンセントがあると良かったです。
