The wall is very thin. Basically you can hear the room next to you flash the toilet. If you are very sensitive to sound, it may wake you up. I couldn't hear the ambulance sound as my room doesn’t have window.

Other than that, the room is clean and bathroom is with decent size. It locates in a very good location. There is some good bar located nearby if you love cocktail.

Most of all, the location is close to the MRT station. The room is very clean. There is extra couch that can be used as sleeping bed. Good Wifi. Fridge works well. Nice bathroom with separate bathtub and shower on two sides of the sink and toilet. Shower is also separated from the sink by a glass wall and door. There's also a kettle with some tea bags. There are some minor negative points about this hotel. First, it's on the 4th floor of a building with a very small name plaque next to the entrance door (not like in the advertisement) which is almost invisible. Second, the door is locked and there's no directions how to contact the staff on the 4th floor (we are lucky to be able to get in when someone from inside got out of the building). Third, the wall between the rooms is not soundproof and we can hear pretty clearly what people are talking in the other room. I'll stay here again if I visit Taipei in the future. Overall, I rate it 4.7/5.0

This is definitely not a 3 star hotel! It is a hostel located on a commercial building with the lobby smell of fish from a wet market. While the \"hotel\" lobby on 4th floor looks like a karaoke reception, we were sent up to 6th floor on which the \"hotel\" rented extra unit to let guest stay in. We were next door to an accountancy firm! It is ridiculous to pay NT$15487 (i.e. CAD 670) to stay at this place for two nights! I looked out the window and saw bird poo on the air-conditioner and I dared not to use the towel as they looked worn and old.

The \"big\" bed is comfortable. The big meant really big. I think it is bigger than a king size. The main unhappy is the room do not have window. If we switched off the light to sleep, it is totally dark. I will suggest to add a night light that help.

Would not recommend staying here if you are a non-smoker. I stayed in a smoke free room however the smell of smoke was coming through from either the air ducts or adjacent room to the point my entire room was filled with smoke. Also something to note is the hotel is in a shared building with other Business/tenants with the lobby on the 4th. Had to check out earlier due to the smoke and wash all my clothing. Otherwise rooms were clean and it's close to MRT which is a plus. Overall it just didn't really feel like your typical hotel.

Room was clean , and smelt fresh. There was no view which was disappointing and we were right by the front desk so we could hear people checking in. Entrance to the hotel is just an entrance way into the building and does not look like a hotel at all. Not till you get to the fourth floor does it look like a hotel. Overall it was good value for the money

Great value, convenient location near the MRT. Don't be put off by the nondescript office building it's in—it's actually a pretty nice hotel. Check out the tea shop next door: it's been around for generations and their tea is amazing.

歩道からは入り口が分かりにくいです。karada dactoryの隣の雑居ビルの中にあります。
おそらく、雑居ビルの一部の部屋を客室に改造したような感じです。自分が滞在した部屋の隣はお店のような感じでした。
近くのbeautyhotelと同じ系列のようです。タオルはbeautyhotelのもので、アメニティも同じでした。
部屋は綺麗ですし、コスパはいいと思います。

The room has quality fittings and linen, especially the bathroom looks newly renovated to a high standard, was very clean, everything works well, the towels were plush, airconditioner control works, etc, so it was very comfortable to stay in. There is a huge tv screen and freshly brewed coffee provided at the lobby. I would come back again.

Very nice newer modern design rooms. Very clean. Very courteous staff. We got VIP room that was much larger than standard room and we had a huge TV.
Drinks, snacks, candy all free in mini bar. Has elevator. Hard to find on 4th floor
Note: Distant street traffic and lobby staff noise intermittently, not bothersome.

Room is clean and well organized. TV is the biggest I've seen in a room, regardless of room size or price. Bathroom has an electronic bidet toilet and the shower has strong water pressure. Hotel is located a few minutes walk from the mrt. From the airport, take the Kuo Kuang bus to the Ambassador Hotel. The drop off is right across the street. Highly recommended for a budget stay.

The staff here a really quite wonderful. They could not be more helpful and pleasant.

The room I had was of a good size and was fresh and clean. The shower had great pressure and was lovely and hot. The toilet was of the electric Japanese type!

The room was greatly let down by very poor sound proofing. I could hear everything my neighbours were saying. The sound of gushing water down a foul pipe through my room was ridiculous. It was like a ball rolling down a bowling alley. I could even hear people picking up and putting things down in the bathroom. I was lucky that the other guests went to bed a similar times. It would be awful if the people in the next room had a crying baby.

I would not recommend staying here on the basis that you might not get a good nights rest.

It’s very clean, comfortable and convenient (couple of minutes away from shuanlian station). Staff are very helpful and friendly and attend your request promptly.
There are vegetarian food available few shops away!
Hope the hotel could provide breakfast in future.

OK hotel close to Red-line MRT station.

I know the area very well.This is my usual “a few nights in Taipei” neighborhood, for more than 10 years. I had just never staid at this hotel before.

Pros: 1. Close to MRT (hint: the station entry on opposite side of Minsheng Rd has escalator going down).
2. Clean. 3. Staff is regular Taiwan-standard nice and friendly. 4) Room gets cleaned even if you are an idiot who forgot to flag the “clean room” sign within customary hours.

Cons.: 1) Water drain is noisy. You can hear water drain from other people showering at any time of day. 2) WiFi is bad. 3) Staff doesn’t believe you that WiFi sucks, even if you show them screenshots of different behavior in 4F “lobby” and whatever floor you’re at. 4) rooms rather small.

The second time to stay here. The room is spaciousand cozy. Staff are polite, helpful and caring. Sound-proof is not that good. I could here the noise at midnight. Overall is above average. I’ll be back to this hotel in the coming future.

Small but cosy. It located at centre of Taipei, very convenient to access every corner of Taipei by MRT or bus just at door step. Can easy to find Taiwan local food and restaurant surrounding. Room was tidy.
Front dest staffs are friendly and helpful. Good for leisure stay but not for business. Some rooms got window at toilet only and some even don't have. If you prefer have window that will be not good choice.
Overall I am satisfy with stay.

This hotel made me feel very comfortable and safe. The building had good security systems and they had a desk staff on duty 24 hours to help with any concerns. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was hot with good water pressure. Our room was a bit small, but we expected that..good enough for three nights. The room was clean and well maintained by the housekeeping staff. The location was also good as it was near a MRT station and Taipei Main Station. The hotel did not offer a breakfast package but we found a pastry shop just down the block.

The location of this place was convenient because it was in walking distance to the night market and there were several places to walk, eat, and shop. The subway station was 200 meters away. Getting to the hotel from the airport we had to take a bus and taxi, so that was the only inconvenient part. The room was clean and decorated with chandeliers, it was a bit small for three people, but since we didn't spend much time in there it wasn't an issue. The staff spoke English.

I stayed in the Luxury Quadruple Room which was very spacious and clean. The huge flat screen TV was a nice addition to the room. They restocked the minifridge with water and drinks daily and also provided free snacks. The hotel was in a great area with restaurants right down stairs and 2 mins walking distance from the MTR. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff is great, location is good too. But you can hear lots of noise for outside, so one cant rest well. Also, it is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, but you can smell in the room when someone is smoking somewhere.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. It's very clean and organized. There were more amenities than you could imagine for the price they charge. The best thing was free coffee/ cappuccino/ espresso with fresh milk and free snacks. The staff is extremely helpful and they go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Location is very convenient and it's only 5 minute walk to metro and 5 minute walk to and from the direct airport bus. The location saved us money as we were able to use metro all the time.

I couldn't ask for a better hotel for the price! It is indeed, a good value for money hotel...worth every bang for my buck. Location is excellent (MRT just a few minutes walk), snacks are refilled every day, service is recommendable plus you won't tire of the endless options for eating just around the hotel. Boutique hotel nestled in Zongshan District

Stayed here with a friend for three nights. The staff was so friendly and helpful! Most of the staff spoke English perfectly, so we didn't have a hard time communicating. They also offer free pocket Wi-Fi, so we were able to walk the city and freely use GPS and such. They have a nice coffee machine in the lobby and all types of breakfast places and bakeries in the area. I loved this area because it was so conveniently situated. The bed was comfortable, and they cleaned the room every day. The walls are a bit thin, but I probably only noticed because I'm a light sleeper. If you're like me, just pop in some earplugs, and you'll be fine. I really liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Conveniently located Hotel I Journey

The hotel is very conveniently located, being less than 200 m from the Shuangliang MRT Station and less than 100m from a Police Post. So it is safe to return to the hotel late at night. It is located along a busy main road which has many shops and eateries nearby. Easy to tell taxi driver where the hotel is -- opposite the MacKay Memorial Hospital. The room is bright and pretty new. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Taipei.

The hotel is well managed and served by polite staff.
If the hotel located at ground floor and not share with office business and others.
So this hotel can really considered as a 3 star rate.
However, fully occupied 4th floor and few rooms are in 5th floor shared with other building tenant, feel uneasy and not safe to stay on this floor.
On 5th floor the room is very small for 2 guests when they wanted us to check in. I felt the staff downgrade me instead upgrade me to a bigger room.
Usually some hotel do so for long staying guest by upgrade to a comfortable room.
I requested to change room after complaining. At last we got the right room as booked from Expedia website.
This room is acceptable for 5 nights stay at least have space to move around.
Not bad staying with helpful staff.

Convenient and clean budget hotel

The location was not apparent at first, since it was situated on the fourth floor of a building, although there were signs on the building. Once we got off the lift, we were greeted by the very polite staff and the room we were shown was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is a couple of streets away from Shuanglian MRT station, and less than 10 minutes from Ningxia Night Market. All in all, this hotel exceed our expectations for its price.

Great location, walking distance to the metro, and great staff. There is no ice in the hotel, so maybe don't expect that. Many shops and 7-11 downstairs. The building is a little easy to miss, and the hotel is on the 4th floor, but all in all, nice and quaint little place. Although there seemed to be construction around 8-10in the morning which was a little annoying. Otherwise very quite.

駅が近いし、主要な観光地にアクセスしやすいし、寧夏夜市へも徒歩圏内、立地も抜群で、ホテルで最新な設備も揃っていて、かなり快適です。但し、他の方にも書いた通り、部屋の防音性が良くなく、廊下で人の話し声、外の救急車の声が煩く、安眠の妨害になります。もう一つの問題なのは、ホテル設備の使用説明が殆どなく、テレビやシャワー等の付け方が分からなくてちょっと苦戦していました。電話機で貼り付けたWiFiの使用説明通りしましたが、繋がることができませんでした。値段的に考えれば、仕方がないかもしれませんが、以上の点が改善すれば、５点満点につけます。

ビルの4階以上が客室になっているホテルですが時間によってはビルの玄関が閉まっていてカードをかざしてロック解除。そのことをスタッフが丁寧に説明してくれました。部屋は広くて使いやすかった。寒い日でしたが暖房もついてました。

スタッフの方が親切でした。
部屋は清潔ですが、建物がめちゃくちゃ古いです。立地は最高です。1番出口を出てまっすぐ行けば着くので本当によかったです。バス停も前なので気楽にバスも使えました！セキュリティー面もしっかりしています。
でもちょっと部屋の作り方かな？ 1人で泊まるにはいいけど、複数で泊まるとトイレの音も丸聞こえだし！隣のテレビの音や話し声も聞こえました！

双連駅近辺は私にとってのホームグラウンド。駅に近いこのホテルはとても魅力的です。
今回の部屋は窓がない部屋でした。外の音がしないところはすごく良いのですが、現在の天気を知ることができないため、一階に降りるまで、天気がわからないというミステリアスな環境になりました。
ラブホテルも兼ねているようで、ご休憩の人もぼちぼちおられるのが不思議な感じもするホテルですが、基本的には気になりません。
部屋は１５平米ということで狭いは狭いですが、私達にとってホテルはゆっくり滞在するところではなく、寝るところですので、これで十分です。
おそらく５回目か６回目の利用だと思いますが、次回も是非利用したいホテルです。
もちろん、きれいで広くロビーでくつろぎたいなんて方はおすすめしません。あくまでホテルを寝る場所と捉える方におすすめです。

Bed bugs? Ticks

It was loud all the time in the room next to the front desk. And is it ticks? Is it bed bugs?
Worst bites I've ever had in 2 nights. The bites got worse every day, and they still itch...
The location is great, but I paid for it and got bit!

双連駅1番出口を出て右にまっすぐ、徒歩3分程のところにあります。双連市場や食堂も歩いて行けるので便利です。

雙連駅から近く、周囲にコンビニも多くて、便利。
ビル自体は古そうだが、内装は綺麗で、且つ、今風で、古さを感じなくて良かった。
部屋が、６階の「Ｓ」だったが、出入り口ドアに貼ってあった「Ｓ」の文字が、わかりづらかった。

70代夫婦で3泊。MRTに近いホテルを探していたので、ロケーションは全く問題ありませんでした。
ホテルとしての機能は満たしていますが、ホテルライフを楽しむには無理が有ります。寝るだけと割り切っての滞在はコスパが良いですね。

立地はとても便利で、夜市に行くにも、買い物するにも、食事をするにも、申し分なかったです。フロントにコーヒーマシーンとティーバッグが、部屋にもお菓子とティーバッグが用意されていて嬉しかったです。レンタル自転車のステーションも近くて駅から離れたところにも行けました。電子レンジがないのと、冷蔵庫に冷凍庫がないのが少し残念。
他の方の口コミにもありましたが、前にある病院、他の部屋、水の音はうるさいので、神経質な人には合わないかもしれませんね。
