It was extremely confusing. There were no clear instructions on where to park or where to obtain the keys. I also spent a significant amount of time trying to determine whether I was in the correct apartment. When I arrived, there was an extra set of keys and an envelope left on the counter, but it was not addressed to me, which added to the confusion.
However, the apartment was very clean, organized and smelled great! Bed was comfortable and cozy.

Both, the room was not suitable for a stay and staff was not accommodating. We had to go to another hotel. Please refund our money, this has created hardship amad this business trip.

The agency did not communicate with the employees at the property. I paid for early check in and parking, but unfortunately, i had to spend the first two hours i was there making phone calls to get a parking pass and keep my 5 year-old in from the severe cold

Overall the room was nice. Apartment building nice. People in the building nice. HOWEVER. Customer service at Global Luxury? HORRENDOUS. I got hung up on twice. I filled the parking pass before hand and it never got confirmed. I never got my parking pass until the day before I left, DURING A HUGE SNOWSTORM. I had to park at another lot 10 mins away and pay $40. It was a mess. Not to mention I’m traveling alone and pregnant! So it was a high stress situation. Yet of course, they charged me for the days I didn’t even park! Was not a luxurious experience. It’s so unfortunate they don’t have a good solid customer service and housekeeping system because those apartments are really nice and in a good area. But geez, that was stressful.

We were in town to support a family member having surgery at Walter Reed. Price per night with a kitchen is beyond reasonable considering the money saved being able to cook your own meals. Only downfall of our unit was the sofa, it was extremely uncomfortable.

This property was much better than I anticipated and I would definitely stay there again. Communication was excellent. The apartment was clean and very modern. The welcome package in the kitchen was a nice touch and ensured we had the basics upon arrival (paper towel, dish sponge, travel size dish soap, travel size laundry soap and even a package of microwave popcorn.
I appreciated the security measure and under ground parking. The roof lounge area, with pool, fire pits and bbqs is beautiful.
I am not a pet lover but if you are this is a property for you. I was also pleased that, though there were many dog owners in the condo, there was no trace of dog hair anywhere in the building. This apartment and entire building is very well kept.

We enjoyed it!

PROS: We had a great time. We really, really loved the rooftop amenities and scenery/ambiance up there. The pool pass situation was a bit precarious. I ended up just showing the lifeguard my ID and that permitted us in. The apartment itself was really nice. It was nice to have the pots, pans, laundry, a pull-out couch and a nice sized walk in closet. The neighbors in the building are quite friendly and helpful.

CONS: One of the least desirable aspects of our stay was the bed. The headboard was very lose and the mattress was dipping in the middle. Every time we turned over it creaked. It was not a very great night’s sleep. It worked out fine though because it didn’t permit us to sleep in. We wanted to get up early to get our day going. Another negative aspect was the key fobs. You must keep up with them. If you misplace them you will have to pay a large fine. And you need the key fob for a lot of things: the elevator, the various doors, the rooftop.

TIP: Bring dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, and bring a comforter for the pull-out couch if you plan to use these things. If you’re using the garage parking make sure to press the pass button to open the garage.

All in all, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed our stay in Bethesda Gallery.

A great place to stay, which is 30 minutes from downtown DC. Modern condo living while away from home, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Harry Teeter (groceries) 2 blocks away, CVS down the street. Be sure to arrange for parking ($15/day) ahead of time as it needs to be coordinated. Street parking is via ParkMobile and is hassle and you will get a ticket ($40).

Global Luxury Suites Bethesda Chevy Chase

We visited Bethesda, MD for medical reasons and GLS was a great option so we felt more like we were at home. Being a guest we had some questions. The front desk help was hard to find. The apartment was clean and close to food and groceries. I wish the pool would have been open.

There was an issue with parking. I was to get a parking key fob, Sunday, June 21st, but this wasn't available. I had to wait until Monday for the parking key fob to be delivered. The company Global Luxury Suites says they will reimburse me for that one night, which has not happened yet.

Visiting grandkids, lovely specious apartment, Central location close to all. One complaint are the beds, awful mattresses both bedroom and couch.

There’s a police station down street so lots of midnight sirens...

The apartment building itself looks brand new and well maintained.

Well, I want to start on a good note, but honestly I do not have one. May be I should say that people on the phone were good listeners!! They did answer my phone calls! But, did they solve the problems? NO!
Background info: I had only booked this suite for 2 NIGHTS in Bethesda, Maryland, USA.
List of problem:
1.Pre-authorized for parking for 2 nights, but did not received it. They apologized for the first night and promised to give us parking the second night and failed to do so!
2.They charged us for parking after we returned home, even after calling them and asking them not to charge. It needed me to call them again to reverse the charge. They apologized and reversed it!!!
3.Once we walked into the apartment (2 bed) it looked really nice and we felt happy! But, then when we went to sleep, we found that our bed frame was broken. So, we called them the first night at 10 pm and lodged a complaint. They said an inspector will come to check and fix this next day. We put the mattress on the floor and slept that night.
4.Next morning, we found that the dining table frame was broken. Called again and complained and again they said they will add this to the inspector’s list to check.
5.Came back home hoping to see things fixed. But, NADA. Called them and was told that inspector came and found nothing was wrong with the bed!!! BIG LIE! Nothing was touched in the room. I had left little notes on the areas of problems, none of those appear to be touched.

This building is full of Cockroach which made my daughter and wife freak out. When you arrive and the concierge hand you a white envelope with your room key and instruction... YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. No room service no soap refills NOTHING. No staff available in the weekend Until Monday 11am therefore you can’t signUp for parking but street parking. I end up with a parking ticket of $45.
I was refused a soap from the concierge telling me to buy my own after running out

I absolutely love this property. Staff was excellent very helpful. Definitely will be coming back. The Property is beautiful a lot of natural light and open space. Great kitchen for cooking and comfortable for any lazy day relaxing. Highly recommended.

We were required to give our credit card multiple times after booking (for parking, security deposit, etc) because this is not a hotel but is an apartment building. The facilities were very new, nice and clean, but the bed was TERRIBLE. Could not move without making very loud squeaky noises from springs and there must have also been a plastic cover on the mattress. It was a horrible night’s sleep for both of us. The mattress on the pull-out couch was a 4 inch temperpedic so our daughter slept great. If they fix the mattress problem, put cotton sheets on the bed, and if they can streamline the credit card process this is a great place to stay with great restaurant choices around it too.

They need to get their act together

The property is brand new and amazing. BUT the check in is a mess. The person at the front desk is just security and they call somebody to come check you in, so you wait for a while for somebody to come to do that. This building is full of beautiful condos and it not a hotel. We asked for an hour early check in (it is 4:00) and they said $150 extra. After coming back at 4:00 for check-in they state the room will not be ready until 6:00. So I ask if they can refund me the same $150 they were going to charge me? \"call the number on your reservation\" was the reply and of course no answer. The room was amazing. For what they are asking $ this system should be a LOT smoother. I love the place.

The property was Great! But Hotels.com SUCKS! I will never use Hotels.com again, because they lied about the cost. Putting the $100 service fee per stay in small type at the bottom of the page, and NOT including it in the total cost is grossly misleading.

We arrived at the property at 4:15 7/30. Check in time on the reservation was 4:00. The concierge asked for ID and a credit card. This bothered me because I had already gone through an ordeal with Global Luxury Suites sending my credit card information. After he finished checking me in I asked where I should park. He replied that there were several public parking garages in the area and if I drove around I would probably find one. I protested saying I had requested parking when I I made my reservation and had sent payment to Global. He said he had no record of that and I would have to call Global's 800 number and have them confirm that I had requested and paid for parking. I went out to my car to retrieve my phone and Global's 800 number. I returned to the lobby and called Global. Their representative confirmed that I had reserved and paid for parking. I started to hand the phone to the concierge so she could tell him. He declined saying she would have to call him directly. I told her this and hung up. She called him within a minute. After he hung up he handed me a garage door opener and gave me directions to a garage door in a separate building. I asked how I could get my luggage to my room if I was parking in a separate building. After several minutes of confusing conversation a bystander interrupted to tell me the buildings were connected underground and that I could get to the building I was staying in through the garage. I then asked for a luggage cart. It got worse

The bedroom and someone came while we were out and fixed it promptly... Will stay here again our girls trip was epic the rooftop pool and grill were also a nice swing to enjoy.

Very beautiful space with friendly staff. Pool is very small. Bed was hard. The ac in our apartment would not turn on. Very loud late at night and early mornings only if you leave the window open. Due to people on the street yelling and construction. Still an 8/10 if the window is closed and the ac is on you should be fine. Again the staff was beyond WONDERFUL.

Nicely Appointed Hotel-Apartment

I had a good stay. I was close to all of the things that I needed to access while I was there, and the apartment itself was beautifully appointed. The only thing about the furnishings that I didn't like was the bed; it creaked as though it would fall apart every time that I got on it. It was still a comfortable sleep. One thing to be aware of is that this is an apartment, so not all of the usual hotel room amenities, like minibar drinks and snacks etc., will be available to you. Since it is an apartment, it is much better suited to someone who is going to be in town for an extended period of time. I was only there for one night, so I didn't really take full advantage of it. But, knowing what I know now, I'd still book again. I'd just make sure to get some water and snacks. Overall, it was pretty nice.

Pros and Cons

First, the property was beautiful and in an amazing location. They leave you a cute little basket with a single laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels, etc which was a nice touch. But for what we were paying, they really need to attend to some of the details more competently. The first issue is that they said in the ad a crib could be made available for an extra fee. However, when I asked for one, they wanted to charge $150 to rent a crib!!! You could buy one for that amount! The second issue was that the parking I paid for wasn’t set up. Thankfully there was free street parking from 9p-9a, but I was not happy with the hassle (we had a 1 year old and all his stuff with us) given the arrangements I had already already made. They didn’t fix that issue for almost 24 hours. Third, the mattress in the master bedroom was flipped on the spring side (not the pillowtop side). I’m not sure if someone just put it on the bed incorrectly, but we of course couldn’t sleep on it like that, and we were a little afraid to try to turn it over ourselves (in case it had been flipped due to a stain or whatever else). Thankfully we didn’t need the bed because our son had his pack and play, and my husband and I just slept in the other room. The next thing was that the main bathroom door doesn’t close. They never installed the hardware on the doorframe for it to latch!! Finally, there were no instructions on anything. We wound up not having time anyway, but I didn’t know where the pool was, how to dispose of my trash, etc. It would have been nice to have that information. All in all, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Great stay each time with one minor-ish exception

Overall, my stay was great! The only complaint I have is that the last two times I stayed there they put me in the same room which, unfortunately, seems to have faulty AC. Both times the AC was set at 72, but it wasn’t cooling the room. The room was stifling hot and because it was late when I arrived and I was super tired, I had to wait til morning for maintenance to fix it.
