Very professional staff. Very quick response regarding requests for the room. Absolutely will stay again. Parking was interesting as the ramp was under construction and very easy to drive in circles. Parking areas were not very well marked as to which direction to go for a specific level or exit.

The room was mediocre for the price. I thought I was getting a balcony room with fireplace which I didn’t. I received a survey about a balcony room but that’s not what I received. The tv kept cutting off. I was told breakfast was included, but only received a $10 voucher towards breakfast. I won’t stay here again too little for $400.

The first room we were assigned had makeup on one of the pillowcases. Once we informed the front desk our room was changed immediately. The only downside was the breakfast at options. The restaurant the at the restaurant that offered the breakfast was very slow due to only one person working there. There was an option to purchase coffee and pastries in the lounge of the hotel. The service was excellent and the pastries were very good.

Location: There is easy access to different areas and the Metro is right next to the hotel for easy access to downtown D.C.
Hotel: For such a huge hotel, it needs a mid level casual restaurant so customers don't have to go out if they want to. The parking ramp also needs better signage and arrows to lead drivers to the guest parking in P3. The lot is HUGE with so many twists and turns underground. It's ridiculous driving around down there. We circled several times before we got to the spaces outside the ballroom floor for access to the hotel.
Staffing: The reception desk was very efficient but not overly friendly. They seemed more task oriented. The convenience store definitely needs better staffing. Only one guy was cooking and checking out customers in the morning and the line was at least 6 deep waiting for their orders. I finally gave up.
Rooms: Very spacious and clean. However, the maintenance staff should report when the drains (tub) or sink are not working. It is hard to over look. We were standing in several inches of shower water. They also need to replenish all of the toiletries every day without being asked. Some better lighting would be helpful. It's so dark.

First of all, I did not get the room I booked, wanted a higher room with King Size bed. Felt disappointed. I had breakfast included in the package, I was just offered a voucher to go buy the food. They did not have any cafeteria / buffet for guesses? Another disappointment. Phone inside the room was little complicated and no one answers when you called.
I don't recommend this place. This whole experience kinda mess up my day.

My stay at the Hyatt regency Bethesda was okay. The room was nice but there was no fan in the bathroom which created a muggy smell in the room and heavy humidity. The parking garage is $30 per night which I think is kinda ridiculous. The breakfast was good but it wasn’t completely free…a voucher was given by the front desk $10 per person but only enough for 1 breakfast. The incidental fee was $200 ($100/a night) that’s something needed to be informed prior to booking. The parking garage was hard to navigate there were so many different signs to do different things as in park and exit pointing in the same direction. There was also construction ongoing for a new restaurant to be opened in the spring which created loud noise through the entire hotel from 8:00am-5:00pm on a Saturday. Completely ridiculous. If there’s gonna be loud noise during my stay at least I could get a free breakfast each morning of my stay. Overall the inside of the hotel was nice and the staff were extremely friendly. There’s also a onsite Morton’s that I didn’t know of until I entered the hotel.

The staff was courteous. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is spectacular. The last time we stayed here we ate at Morton's for my birthdays. The food was phenomenal and the staff went above and beyond to celebrate my special day. Andy's Pizza by the slice is right down the street and has become our go to dor a late night slice. We will definitely stay here again and again.

We appreciated the great beds, the very clean, modern, and quiet room, and the super location next to the Metro. We were also impressed with the freshness throughout the hotel and in the room. The policy of automatically charging $500 if the room smoke sensors are triggered is exactly what is necessary. As is so much the case in life, 5% drag the rest of us down, and this proactively addresses that. I wish other hotels did the same. I will be staying here again.

I loved my stay here. The convenient 120 steps to the metro station, I loved. Everything in the room worked. All the lamps, mini fridge, hot water/water pressure, roomy walk in shower, the simple tv operation, and the thermostat. Everything worked just as it should. And my balcony was a private terrace of enormous proportions. LOVED IT. I've stayed in fancier, more expensive properties, but have never had an easier or nicer stay. Could use some cushions for the outdoor chairs. Other than that, I had a perfect stay.

I've been to this property once or twice a year for the past four years. The elevator from parking garage to lobby has been broken for the last several years. Beds are extremely soft as well as pillow. If u prefer firm mattress, this isn't the hotel. If u bring a car, it is extremely tough to maneuver in the garage, and it is not easy to maneuver in the streets around the hotel. Although it provides a good face on the initial look, it's average at best. I had a much better stay at a springhill hotel on the trip home.

The room I stayed in was beautiful and the housekeeping excellent. The staff at the front desk was friendly, competent, and helpful. However, I do not appreciate having to get dressed to go get a cup of coffee rather than making it in the room. It's been many years since I stayed in a hotel without that amenity. That's the primary reason it didn't get an excellent rating, petty as that might seem. There were a couple minor design flaws, like having the single towel bar about five feet from the sink. Overall, it was a very good stay, and I would generally recommend it.

Hotel more business friendly, than family friendly. Plenty of self-parking, but it is expensive. They didn't service our room even though we did not have the sign up. Tried to early check-in (was willing to pay a fee) but there were no rooms available. Maybe the later than usual checkout time is why, but I can’t imagine many people wanting to just hang around their room until noon since there isn’t much to do in the hotel besides the gym.

My room was quite small. It felt like a typical small European hotel with small rooms. I heard everything happening in an adjacent room. The shower pressure was not great. There was no coffeemaker. The hotel felt like it was built a long time ago and is now tired. The lighting was not great. The HVAC kept going on and off loudly every 40 minutes or so all night. Overall, I expected better given the brand name.

Property could use a facelift. There is no place in the hotel to get a cup of coffee. There is a *bux next door but not everyone wants that as the only option. Front desk staff would benefit from better people skills, simple requests were answered with either a shrug of the shoulders or confusing directions. The parking garage has a weird layout with convoluted instructions as to where guests should park.
