Not our best holiday by far, can’t put my finger on it But everyone & everything was hard work, felt constantly you were doing something wrong..
The bookings all had to be done on app, for breakfast / lunch / dinner had to be placed night before & if you want to change it omg, it was like I asked them to redecorate!!!
You were left standing waiting for table for at least ten minutes , when the place was half empty..( I know they were under staffed ) but I have cancer & a walking stick , which they could see but still left us standing..
The restaurants were all freezing , they left door open & the wind was blowing through & again when I asked them to close the door ( as you could see everyone else was freezing, they didn’t like it !!
Breakfast a bird constantly flew in & was nibbling at the bread.
The spa booking system the same , you walked to spa & asked to come in & ‘have you booked’ No because I didn’t know it would be cloudy & want to come in & keep warm… you should book first She says… so go to main reception to book in & they tell me to book at spa !!!
We had a suite, which was nice but the balcony view was a high solid wall , so when sitting you couldn’t see through.. many other balcony’s had mesh walls, which would have been better.
We asked for the my boys suite to have a sofa bed made up & they pulled out a single from under sofa !
The rooms were not emptied of empty bottles / coffee pods everyday..
The noise in bathroom from other toilets flushing was very loud.

The regular hotel rooms are dated but functional, I can’t speak for the rooms exclusive to Priviledge Members. The hotel could do with an overall lifecycle facelift. That being said, the layout, outdoor facilities and the design of the building is beautiful and the staff/service were excellent, very thoughtful, friendly and welcoming. We had half board and only ate in the betancuria where food was 7/10 with some good variety. We did see cockroaches here and there but I guess that’s due to the climate more than anything.

I would go again, 4/5.

Great food at both dinner and breakfast, the beach is excellent for walking and swimming. There was unfortunately no kettle for hot water in the room and the coffee at breakfast was undrinkable. Instead of Nescafe machines dispensing low-quality 'instant' coffee, the hotel could have provided a large pot of simple filter coffee for guests.

Surpassed expectations.

We had a great all inclusive stay at Tindaya. Service was excellent, staff very keen to assist us with our daughter who became poorly whilst away and make sure we were comfortable. We felt well cared for, food was good quality and lots of choice- same for drinks, stunning setting, a great place to stay.

The location next to the beach with direct access from the hotel was incredible. Rooms were really well appointed for families (we were in a junior suite and had plenty of space). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The food was not amazing, despite having privilege access to the a la carte restaurants we were not impressed, which is a shame for such an otherwise amazing hotel.

Great hotel with excellent swimming pools
for the kids. Kids club was very poor with only one person looking after sometimes 10-11 children. Food was a bit repetitive and not much of an option for children. Beach is amazing and the kids loved it. Rooms are nice and kept clean however the A/C in our room wasn’t great and was a struggle to get to sleep at night as too hot. Reported the problem but they said it was ok. Overall we enjoyed the stay but would probably give the hotel a 8 out of 10. Things to improve on.

Really loved our 5 night stay here. We had the privilege booking and had access to extra amenities. Would go back again in a heartbeat. Kids loved it with all the pools and splash park along with the kids club. The spa was lovely, and the hotel was clean and modern. Staff were mainly friendly, except a few members of staff- who I think were tired/over worked. Only down side would be the buffet doesn’t have a huge range of food- however I didn’t go hungry and had access to both à la carte restaurants. Would really recommend on the whole.

the people working always seemed grumpy, breakfast was always over crowded unless you arrived at 7 am, pools and view from the pool were nice but feurteventura is pretty windy, our room was suppose to have a sunset view but only had a view of the mini golf course, parking was on the street or a dirt parking lot, the room was comfortable and clean, 10 min walk to costa calma town and beach, in the end nothing amazing and mothing very bad but would probably look for something else if i was to come back to the island

This is a lovely hotel, it is extremely clean and well looked after. The room was comfortable. There was a wide variety of food at all meal times. The pool areas are fabulous and the views of the ocean are incredible. The only downside is the area, although there are beaches all around the hotel, the area is very quiet with not many bars or shops around. But a lovely stay

Lovely hotel, the drinks were great using high quality alcohol which not many hotels do on all inclusive. The rooms are spotless clean and sea view is breathtaking. Covid secure meassures everywhere. The only thing is that the food in the restaurant is quite repetative and a bit limited but was tasty. Great staff.

Mi marido y yo estuvimos 6 días hospedados en este hotel y nos encantó. Estoy embarazada de 6 meses con lo cual queríamos una semana de relax y tranquilidad.

Todo el personal fue muy amable. Tuvimos suerte y nos dieron una habitación con vistas al mar así que no tuvimos los problemas de ruidos que he visto en otras opiniones.

La comida estaba bien, sobre todo la parte de pasta italiana, aunque los cócteles podrían mejorar un poquito o que por lo menos te pongan una imagen real de cómo son en la carta y no otra presentación totalmente distinta.

Los animadores Nacho y Axis fueron encantadores y nos lo pasamos genial con ellos, intenten participar en las actividades y verán que bien se lo pasan!

Cuando fuimos, la piscina de agua salada (la que tiene los toboganes para niños) estaba cerrada ya que estaba en obras, con lo cual nos imaginábamos que habría mucho ruido pero no nos molestó.

Una sugerencia al hotel es que las clases de spinning en la piscina la hagan en la climatizada, ya que teníamos muchas ganas de hacerla pero el agua estaba congelada y no pudimos.

Seguro que volveremos en un futuro y nos tocará usar el mini club :)

First impression was good - given upgraded room but this unfortunately was over the spa and droning kept us awake all night.(had to be moved)

Would advise travellers with food intolerances or allergies that the buffet is of no use to you. If you enquire about allergens in the restaurant you are mainly greeted by a shrug of the shoulders. Once complaints are made about this situation you can be offered separate food from a set menu, which is cooked at your request. The restaurant manager, Carlos, was excellent after the original complaints were made.

Overall the expectations of a few relaxing days at the beach were spoilt by the first day of unnecessary problems.

Brilliant hotel...we loved our stay. Room was spacious and spotless..lovely toiletries and added extras ie toothbrush, comb, razor etc. Staff on desk very polite and helpful. Great selection of food and something for everyone. Very relaxing holiday and lovely walks on the beach. Lovely outdoor space to relax.Would have no hesitation in going back and hope too. The staff in the Reception not nice.
My partner last night had diarrhoea and vomiting. Food we had only in the Hotel. I reported this incidence to the reception but the lady was not nice and did nothing. She did not even to listen what he has eaten. It means that no lesson for other customers.

Got there at 1pm, told to go eat as the room was not ready and will phone me once ready. Got told room is ready at 315pm. Asked if it is a quiet and nice room, reception staff said yes its very nice! No porter so got directions to my room. Opened door and all you smell was mould! I asked to see the upgrade, which was exactly the same as the other room so i declined. The room has no kettle or iron, there was a mini fridge with no drinks or even water, was a safe however all these you need to request and pay an additional cost.
Food / restaurant - was ok, very repetitive and bland. Not much choice, and be careful with the meat you choose as most of the meat i chose was pink inside or raw. Strange that they serve chicken nuggets for breakfast!!!! Pool bar served food also, limited choice. There is a Route 66 american restaurant, which I believed that you can use once per stay, this was not the case. Asked receptionist and she stated I had to pay eventhough I was all inclusive! I said im sure its included for me, she told me its not and to prove to her on my booking, how rude!
Drinks - drinks are not bad, some known label brands included, however only one person serving behind each bar, and can cause long queues.
Gym/Spa - Gym not bad, has a few things to use and adequate. To use the indoor pool, sauna is a 10 EURO charge per visit.
Pool - need to pay deposit for pool towels, however 4 pools to chose from.
location - Nothing around, hire a car and you will be fine.

We booked this last minute amazing hotel and staff and the hotel was very clean so was our room.... The food was amazing at the main restaurant.... And coffee bar was lovely too... Just disappointed with the restaurant which is called route 66 luckily we had a free voucher for it... But I would never eat there again... It looked like everything was from frozen and cooked in the microwave... Nothing was fresh and nothing was American about the food... The management needs to really think over about route 66 and server fresh food....and not just serve food for the sake of it

Our main problem was the room bathroom layout was cramped as was the balcony stayed in room 490 there was no sunlight in this room all though the day making the room very dark .not something you want on your holiday .asked if we could upgrade our room & was shown a suite which was better but would have to pay another 90 euros but we refused this as it looked onto building work. again not a nice way to spend a holiday so we were told the only option was to keep room 490 for the 3 days we were staying .have moved on to the Barceló royal level which is amazing .

Good if you want a boring week away

The hotel itself is adequate if you just want to lie by the pool. Everything extra you have to pay for such as the sun loungers on the beach, using the pool towels, using the in room safe and eating anywhere other than the below par buffet restaurant. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is like a shopping centre and is a 3* at best. There is nothing in the surrounding area just other all inclusive hotels.

Great hotel! Excellent all inclusive option. You get branded drinks, plenty of choice and great food, mikes coffee although wish they open longer. Beautiful pool area, plenty of sun bed, lovely views & stunning beach! Very clean throughout.
Didn’t like the spa pool area which is really part of the gym and the room safe trigger additional cost. Some old and broken tools at crazy golf, archery and games room. Overall, very good!

We booked in at H10 Tindaya but on arrival we were told that they did not have a room. They said we were to go to their sister hotel the H10 Playa Esmeralda and offered to pay for a taxi. Our reviews are therefore for that hotel which was fabulous in every respect and we would definitely go there again.

Second time to this hotel. Great location on the beach. Great facilities if others are not using them. Apparently the island now has a cockroach issue. I saw 6 in total including 1 in our room, that said the hotel is spotless.

Food is good but a little ’samey’. Overall the staff were good but don’t go beyond the call of duty.

A wonderful second stay

We had a wonderful second stay having had a previous holiday at the same resort 3 years ago. We wanted a relaxing family holiday and that is what we got. We wanted the familiarity of the hotel knowing exactly what we were getting with added bonuses thrown in to boot from the chocolates each evening being brought to our room and the pool slides which were new and the foam party in the pool. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back 😀

It´s fine for families but boring for couples

The hotel, its facilities, services and entertainment are just normal.
The animation is poor and bored. It's fine if you go as a family with children, everything finish at 10.30pm so the families with children can go to bed. After the animation ends, they say that the disco will be on until 12pm, but they play on and on the same music every night (nobody is at the DJ place).
I would recommend this hotel to a friend who has children but not to a friend who goes with her/his partner or wants more offer
The best thing about the hotel is the friendly staff, the lovely beach and the food.

great stay again. got really busy and very noisy when the italians turned up with VERA club. would whole heartedly recommend this hotel. One thing which is total rubbish is the gym ! should be condemned as equipment is dangerous. Near to beach and windsurfing which is why we stay there.

Great hotel- beautiful setting. Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Amazing food- plenty of choice and always hot. With a speciality station every night. Evening entertainment was better than the majority of hotels I've been to. Day entertainment- always something to do and slides in the pool are fun. Crazy golf - great to have in the hotel. Spa- very relaxing and well equipped. Area is very quiet but this doesn't matter as the hotel has everything u need. Definitely recommend. Will be returning.

Me and my fiancé booked AI holiday in this hotel. The area is very quiet and there's not much to do, however it's surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches withing walking distance. The nearest bigger and lively place - Moro Jable is only 20 mins drive from the hotel with a huge beach so it's worth visiting.

Hotel itself is big and kept very clean as well as all hotel facilities. The staff is very hardworking, friendly and polite. Food and drinks were very good with a good variety every day.

The only downside of our stay was a smell of damp in our room as it was located on the ground floor, but apart from that there's really nothing to complain about. This place deserves its 4* rating.

Fantastic staff, great hotel

We had a great time at Tindaya. The staff were exceptional friendly, food was great and there was always plenty of space around the pool or on the beach to relax. I had my birthday there and the staff made it feel very special. I would definitely recommend friends or family visit this hotel.

Stayed for a week all inclusive. Great location. Staff great, always working hard and always happy to help, serve drinks , clear your table etc.plenty of lifts if you have mobility issues. Beach access by a few steps and a ramp. Can get a little noisy by the pool at times with animation team and music. Great range of food and quality drinks on offer. Would definitely go back. We windsurfed for 5 out of 6 days and you have the choice of 3 locations within a 10 min drive.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was as it was cheapish. It's really big and unlike other places I have stayed I never had an issue getting a sun lounger. There was a great variety of food. Hot food was not always of the best standard but it was ok!

We've just come back and would love to go back straight away. The hotel is great, the staff ever so nice and the food is simply delicious. They have a special gluten free menu, although the other food on offer is often gluten free anyway. A special thank you goes to Suzanna, who looked after me and made sure that I would always get a nice meal. But I must not forget Tony (that strawberry cake yummy) and Byanca who was fantastic helping to sort out our boat trip.
The hotel has got a lot of nice seating areas with WiFi (no WiFi in the rooms) where you can always get a cuppa or a cold drink. The room's are pretty basic and I found the bed not too comfortable but then I have fibromyalgia and a memory mattress at home.

Someone stole 200 euro from our ROOM

Someone stole 200 euros from my wallet left the room. We asked to see the General Manager, but he was too busy. After 2 days and constant asking we got to see Assistant Manager, his response was how can we trust that you are telling the truth.. Apparently the same thing happened to other guests, so I was not sure why he didn't trust us. He suggested us to use the safe box, that was 20 euros a week. In general, hotel charges for everything. For example, there is no iron in the room and to iron a dress costs 6.5 euros and it takes them 2-3 days to do it. If you want to get your clothes on the same day, its double.

Wonderful Hotel. Lovely stay.

My family and I had a wonderful stay over New Year.
We stayed for 7 nights. All inclusive. Lovely hotel with all the amenities. Absolutely no complaints. Plenty to do. Really friendly staff. Good food and drink. Own private beach. Weather was perfect.
In particular Valentina, Ornella and Davide, members of the hotel staff, were very approachable, friendly and made the holiday special.
Will probably come back next year...

Direct access to nice sandy beach bay

Direct access to sandy beach bay. You walk down a few stairs and you are on the beach and close to the water. Being close to the hotel and the beach enabled us to enjoy the All Inclusive offer (cocktails, lunch, snacks). You can rent out 2 sun chairs + sunshade for 13.50€ a day or ask for discounts for more days. We paid 32€ for 3 days.

The food and drinks were really nice, international and of good quality. Each day is different and surprising – ranging from Paella, Chocolate Fondue, Sushi to German “Brotzeit” with “Sauerkraut” and Würstchen”. We were also surprised that Cocktails such as Gin Tonic, Mojito and Tequila Sunrise were included in the offer.

There pool activities, beach volleyball, shows, dancing to yoga. You can play basketball, football, paddle/tennis , billiards, chess and mini golf. Equipment can be borrowed at the reception. A Spa Day (whirlpool, sauna, steam, pool) can be bought for 12€ per day as well as massages and hair cuts.

SPAR is situated left to Tindaya, Pharmacy is 30min by walk, a doctor is at the hotel in the morning and afternoon from Mon-Fri. PADI and ATM is at the R2 Hotel to the right of Tindaya. Windsurfing and Kitesurfing to the left of the hotel 30min by foot.

Hotel with the sea view & friendly staff

We have chosen this hotel for a long weekend break, but I would highly recommend in for a longer holiday. Hotel room was clean with gorgeous sea view, hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The only regret we had was the fact we had to leave so quickly.
If you are looking for a unwind type holiday rather than party type break, this place is ideal.

This was our first stay in an H10 hotel and we were very impressed. The only point worthy of mention was the fact that if you really wanted sun on your balcony you should ask for a suitable room before you book, as there are only a limited number providing a sunny balcony.

We spent our honeymoon in H10 Tindaya. We were very pleased with everything. The room was quite big and clean and seemed newly decorated. The bed was a double bed but the mattress was quite uncomfortable.
The staff were all very helpful, especially since I am a coeliac and can't eat any wheat. But every evening they made me a gluten free meal of my choice and in the morning I was given gluten free bread and croissants. We only paid for halfboard, so in the evening the drinks were not included. This was even including water from the dispenser. The buffet had a large selection and a different theme every night. The quality of food was a bit hit and miss, but there was always something nice on offer.

Overall a very pleasant experience, although next holiday we will probably try to find something less touristy.

Beautiful hotel, great location by the beach. There is nothing else around so if you are looking for a relaxing holidays that's the place.
It is a family resort so you will find lots of children and not to many young couple.
The food is excellent, every day is different and very nice.
The staff is amazing!! always smiling and very efficient!!

The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was good but the expectation of a 4 star hotel was not met. We had to pay extra for a safe, tea and coffee facilities was not included and the bathroom was not as clean as expected. The toilet did not have a disinfected sign on at arrival. Reception chairs was not clean. overall not a 4 star experience!

My wife and I enjoyed a restful stay at this excellent hotel.
OK, we could nitpick about such things as evening entertainment but it's only what you come to expect for a mixed Europian clientele.
Food was available throughout the day at various locations around the hotel and ticked most of the boxes. My only disappointment was when we ordered (and payed a supplement ) for a takeaway picnic lunch which consisted of dry sandwiches containing leathery preserved ham, fruit and a bag of crisps. We had to throw the sandwiches away.
Otherwise,I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will certainly consider this and other hotels in the H10 group for future vacations.

Something for everyone

Great hotal with friendly helpful staff, spa, entertainment and great location - just what we needed - we really enjoyed our stay. I havent stayed at a H10 hotel before but would return here and certainly consider staying in one of their others after this holiday. Costa Calma doesnt have the bars & restaurants of other resorts so would advise going or upgrading to all-inculsive.

Lovely setting and plenty of amenities, although many clientele are Italian or German most speak English. The choice of food is great and the fact cocktails are included is a bonus. Would stay again and would use the activities more next time.

However the site is windy by fuerteventura standards so take a windbreak

Lovely hotel in front of a lovely sandy beach. The food was excellent with a wide selection to suit all tastes. The hotel facilities were very good but night time entertainment left a lot to be desired. My one complaint is that as half board residents we were told off for pouring a glass of water from one of the water fountains located in the dining room. Apparently the water is only for all inclusive residents. Apart from that the staff were courteous and helpful. The drinks bought at the hotel were very reasonably priced in fact cheaper than some of the bars in the resort.

A pleasant stay

The hotel is large and quite impressive on arrival if somewhat dangerous due to the unusual rainfall on our arrival, paths and floors were all very slippy to summer weather footwear and quite dangerous. Staff were pleasant, helpful and welcoming and all maintained their smiles and service throughout our stay.
Hotel in general was very good, clean and well maintained all round. Our only disappointment was the somewhat dated room decor, badly worn floor tiles although not broken or dangerous. The fridge that goes off when room key removed and the rubbish TV. 2 English speaking channels, Sky News and BBC News out of 40 ish, poor !!
The food may not be all you'd like but was fresh, well presented and with plenty of choice so was always well fed on leaving the dining room.
The heavy rain played havoc with activities but that wasn't on our agenda so can't comment on those.
Perhaps I missed something when booking but the hotel was listed as being Around Puerto del Rosario when it was actually 70 km away. After finding out thanks to Google Earth I booked a car which turned out to be essential. There is a small village with store nearby but anything else needs travel. A livelier area with eating, drinking and some entertainment was about 20 mins away by car. If you are happy to stay put, sunbathe and use the hotel facilities then this should suit, if you like to get out and about get a car or go elsewhere.

The hotel was clean, spacious and had very friendly staff who were always smiling and happy to help. The facilities were of a good standard. The rooms had plenty of space with a good bed and a nice balcony with a view of the sea. Lots of room to sunbath outside and 2 minutes from a very nice beach.

not a 4 star hotel

I just came back from a 5 day stay and I have to mention a couple of issues:
The food is quite average (is not a 4 star hotel food)
The spa is not included in the price and you have to pay separately 12 Euros per person
We had 4 days of rain and we had damp patches in the walls and water leaking through the bathroom lighting. We are still waiting for an apology although we did mention it in reception

Great hotel!

We stayed at this hotel for a week in November and I must say it was excellent. It was very clean, staff was lovely. Facilities are perfect for a families and couples who are looking for a nice and relaxing holidays. It is not a good place if you are looking for clubs and pubs.
There is plenty to choose from at the breakfast and dinner, the only down side is that you need to pay for drinks during dinner if you are on Half Board. At the breakfast all drinks are included. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

My wife and I stayed at the H10 Tindaya hotel for our 39th wedding anniversary, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we found the whole hotel area clean and the food choice was excellent.
The only gripe I have is what really annoys me about hotels (this one included) is that they all have the same policy regarding the reservation of sunbeds by selfish guests with towels. This hotel states the same thing in their welcome folder, however when you go down after breakfast dozens of beds, usually the ones that are with an umbrella are reserved by some selfish guest, a lot of them are reserved ALL day while they decide to go on trips and then by not allowing others who want to relax by using them. some even return late in the afternoon and don't bother using the bed at all! If the hotel stuck to the 'No Reserve' Rule and had the pool man who is sitting next to his supply of towels all day with nothing else to do remove the towels it would stop the utterly selfish guests from spoiling others relaxation.
The only other gripe is the fact that yet another hotel charges to use the sauna areas, some hotels don't and it generally gets used and enjoyed by guests, but when they charge like this hotel (12 euros per couple) it tends to be empty all day, yet the hotel pays to keep it heated for hours all day, doesn't make any sense.
But overall we really enjoyed the stay, the beach is very close at the back of the hotel 5 minute walk, but be warned it also has nudism bathing. No problem for me.

Excellent hotel and facilities with direct access onto beach. Few English guests, but this was not a problem. Good food choice but would have been good with theme nights - became a bit repetitive although always well presented. Good variety of drinks and not in usual cheap plastic cups. Entertainment available during the day if you wanted it but not pushy and there were quiet pool areas for those who wanted to relax.
Evening entertainment dominated by world cup matches so didn't experience much of usual hotel entertainment.
Rooms clean and good size bathrooms, most having a sea view.
Lovely beach but watch out for the nudists!!
Chipmunk type animals can be found in the rocks next to the beach.
Only a handful of shops close by. Car hire beneficial to get around the island which is a must - experience the sand dunes in the North. Some lovely fish restaurants in the South.
Windy most of the time but this is not a problem.

We had a great stay at the H10 Tindaya, mainly due to the great facilities and the weather (which was perfect for April). Everything you need is there to have an enjoyable time, and it all works well.

Things I would change are: opening the gym, spa and pools earlier than 10am as we are early risers. More staff who speak good English as we had trouble explaining that we required gluten free meals.

Otherwise it is a great place to stay and there is plenty of space for it to not feel too crowded.

Something we found out when we got there, is that the southern end of the island is generally visited by Germans and the north by the English. I am not sure why that is, but is resolved our confusion as to why people spoke to us in German and why there were German signs. It didn't bother us at all...

Tip: be careful when sunbathing. Because of the lovely breeze you do not feel it is that hot, but the sun is strong and many people (including us) were getting sunburnt.

Great hotel with excellent facilities. Too windy to sit round the pools but went down onto the beach which had sunbeds and windbreaks and was a lot more sheltered. Great beach with beautiful clear water. Recommend it if you want total relaxation.

We love it; you'll love it.

Fourth time at the Tindaya and we've thoroughly enjoyed every stay. In no particular order, I offer you the following.
Staff are really good, with some exceptional (Josie in the restaurant was great - nothing too much trouble). Smiling, courteous and always ready to help. The animacion team are really enthusiastic and can offer varied activities for both children and adults throughout your stay.
The hotel is starting to show signs of wear and tear particularly around footpaths (broken floor tiles), but that's to be expected with the amount of people staying. I'm sure the maintenance team will start repairs soon, as they were always out cutting grass, installing new fencing, and doing other stuff.
The restaurant always has a great selection of food to choose from. The only problem that it's not always hot.
One thing that may get to you is the lack of orderly queues when at the restaurant buffet counters or the bar.
Walls between rooms are thin and you'll think next door have moved in with you. This is so common you just accept it.
Too many sun loungers squeezed around top pool. Could do with removing some to give you a feeling of your own space.
On the whole, you should stay at the Tindaya; it's a great experience. We'll be going again.

Generally good with very professional staff and nice pools. Minus areas included absence of blackout curtains in rooms, small bathrooms, vegetable soup every night for all 7 nights (sometimes both soup selections were vegetable!) and \"hot\" food which was often cool. That said, the food was pretty acceptable and well flavoured and fruit selection was always excellent (as were deserts).

As a minority of English speaking guests most of the staff were unable to converse with us in English. We would ask a question in English and the staff would respond in Spanish. We were in the hotel for one week and the whole time we were there the floor which we were staying on was stained with splash marks. Despite this out room was cleaned daily, jut not the corridors

Hotel was advertised as a Spa hotel but there was no communication that the spa incurred an extra charge
The Spa treatment facilities were completely inadequate for the size of the hotel - only 1 therapist with no treatment appointments available at any time during our 4 day stay.
Spa and Gym facilities were completely closed on 1st January without prior notification

Quality of food was very poor

Don't think you'd be disappointed stopping here!

This is my third time at Costa Calma, I've tried two other hotels, I enjoyed the stay at the Tindaya and would go back again. there were two or three niggles, but nothing more than that!! The food in the restaurant wasn't always very hot, but it was always being topped up with fresh stuff & there was a very good choice. There was free WiFi but that was very hit or miss.
Probably the worst thing is the smell of sewage as you walked near to the front of the hotel, but that's from the plant across the road, but the smell no way entered the hotel..There was quite a bit of rubbish & debris at the side road to the hotel, although not the hotels land, I do think they should accept some responsibility & clean it up??

I have only mentioned the 4% of negatives, the other 96% were all positive
Had a great stay & I'd definitely stay at the Tindaya again

The hotel is a nice 4 star hotel.

The hotel/ restaurant staff were fast / friendly. Some of the reception employees are not as patient or give information that the some articles are cheaper to buy outside than inside the hotel. However, there are still some excellent professional personal.

The rooms are excellent unless you are have a room, which is located up from the 3 floor. We had first a room in the 2nd floor, which was comparable with a 2 star hotel. It is located in the basement floor, which I have not minded. The reason for moving was that we discovered some mold in this room (pic). We moved, without saying the real reason. We decided to pay more money for seaview in order to have a better room. In my opinion, it was the best decision because the room in the 4 floor was excellent, as the professional receptionist recommended to us.
(I hope,the hotel will maintain it for future guests)

The hotel swimming area is excellent, apart from German guests, who reserve their sunbads in the early morning already. The sea is directly located to the hotel.

The entertainment is perfect for families. I would recommend to young couple to go out in evening. In Costa Calma there are 2 excellent clubs, such as DVN (Pop and House) and one nice one (Latino Music), which is located on top of the little shopping centre (in which is the supermarket). While we were staying in the hotel, no one was dancing from the guest in the hotel even that the staff provided music.

Stayed from 14th Feb for 1 week all inclusive. Hotel and rooms very nice, staff friendly, food and drink selection good, Pools and beach were very clean. Only problem was that Costa Calma is a German resort. Only found 1 spanish bar aproximately half an hour walk from hotel, other bars were German coffee type bars who only sold larger and no other beers or ciders. Everyone we met were very friendly though. Good place to go if you just wanted to chill out at the beach or pool but did not find much else going on even though we took the car out each day.

lovely hotel in small town, so you can go out for a meal or a drink, coffee etc. if you don't want to be permanently in the hotel. great hotel facilities - lovely pools, v easy access to beach, large rooms with living area, clean rooms and friendly staff. food - considering it's half board or all inclusive - is just fine. of course it's not restaurant standard but for the price it's decent. lots of german/italian guests which i loved, not english if that's what you're looking for.
