Excellent value and location

The staff are so friendly and happy, and provide an excellent service, particularly the restaurant and bar staff. They made a real difference. The girl in charge of fitness activities, Elena, is amazing. It’s a great place to go as a single person as lots of people do, and the holiday can be as sociable as you want it to be. There was everything I wished for: the beach right outside the hotel, lovely warm weather, affordable all-inclusive, interesting guests, and a room with a view. The only downside is the hotel is a bit tired and in need of renovation, but this did not affect my stay in the slightest. Great hotel if you want a mix of people, a laid back feel, and a white linen tablecloth restaurant that doesn’t have a dress code!

Relaxing stay hotel a little tired

The hotel itself is not 4 star. It probably was once upon a time but as it's a quite few years old the rooms are dated, the corridors are tired and there is peeling paint in areas. The beds were awful in my room and lacked comfort being very hard (not firm) On the plus side the food and staff are 4 star. The hotel is very clean, the restaurant is very well manned and the chefs do a fantastic job with the selection and quality of the meals. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds and the pool is large enough to have a swim around although it does catch the wind. The beach is at the end of the hotel just note that you have to pay for sunbeds on the beach. The clientele of this hotel is mostly German and a lot of things are geared towards them with German being the primary language so if you prefer an English styled hotel this is not the place for you. There is not a lot to do in Costa Calma outside of the hotels which are all SBH owned and few restaurants or bars as the hotels are all AI. Overall as I was looking for a total relaxation break and this was a exactly what I got.

Relax in the sunshine.

all inclusive 4 day break in the sunshine, Ideal for a stress free sojourn, but everything is calculated on a fine budget, do not expect the finest food or the best spirits. Pool area and beach pleasant.

Hotel is in a good place with direct access to the beach.There is a bus stop opposite the entrance. Room was comfortable with huge bathroom. We got travel cot for free. Used the late check out service as we had a late evening flight. All inclusive was ok, however they do not offer food/snack between meals, only drinks from the bar.There is a snack time slot, but they just put some fresh mini bakery product and some cheese/ham with bread but no butter, it was hardly anything.This was a bit disappointing. But except that everything was fine, we had a great holiday.

OK but nothing special

We stayed here the first week in November with two early teenage boys. The room was big enough for all 4 of us all with separate beds or sofas. Room only cleaned 5 days out of seven and the hotel have a big problem with clean towels, on two days they didn't have any and our dry ones were replaced with smelly damp used ones. Reception did give us some clean towels when I complained, so they had some but were keeping them. The food was good and plentiful, sushi Thursday was amazing and the restaurant staff work really hard. The restaurant could do with a good clean around the drinks areas and the glasses were bitty from the dishwasher. Lunch was pretty much salad, fish, pizza and chips everyday but still plenty of it. We only had the afternoon snack once as the cheese and meat are just left uncovered and had flies on, the biscuits were good. The pool bar is ok, the milkshake machine didn't work all week and the coffee machine was hit and miss but you could go up to the hotel for another coffee machine. Most of the staff were fantastic, special mention to Nelson and David in the restaurant. The a la carte restaurant is Italian, is only a la carte as they bring your main dish the rest is a buffet. We went twice, the first time was good although a little rushed but the second time I have carbanara and I have to say it was the worst I had every had, wet runny and so sweet it was like eating dessert. On the whole an ok hotel that needs a lot of TLC and a good clean.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived later than expected due to a delayed flight and the staff had arranged a cold buffet to be served especially for us. The room was standard, and is cleaned every day. The hotel is perfect for a quiet escape which is situated on its own private beach. This hotel and the others around it are in a very quiet location ie there really isnt many places to go to outside of the resorts. If you like to wander arounf harbours, restaurants and find bars etc this really isnt the area you should go to. Having said that, it was a really nice and relaxing break and there isnt much to complain about.

In front of the bus stop.
Next to the beach (I suggest to go walk to the sand beach, the one link to the hotel is with nibbles)
Great food, all kind of drinks inclusive as well from morning till night.
Salty swimming pool, very nice.

A sweet place, needs updating.

I had a very short stay here this week and had a very pleasant time. The purpose of my trip was simply to have some peace and quiet and relax with a book in the sun. For that purpose, the hotel met my needs.
The staff were all very lovely, the atmosphere of the hotel is very peaceful and friendly. The brightly painted rooms all with private balcony, over look the pool with views of the sea.

There are some things, however, that the hotel needs to improve on in order to keep up with the changing demands of travellers. It is quite important to have a properly functioning shower. Presently in room 360 the shower is attached to the wall in such a way that it covers the room in water if you put it on while its hanging on the wall. To have a shower you must take the shower head off the wall and hold it in your hand which can make washing hair very difficult.
The matter of wifi is also becoming increasingly important to travellers. At present, connecting to the wifi at this hotel requires using an amount of data to access a Login page, entering details and then making a trip to reception to receive a unique password. The receptionist was very attentive, but was unable to provide me with a password that worked.

Food was as expected from an all inclusive. Buffet style with a large choice.

disappointing all inclusive family holiday

My wife and I and our teenage son have stayed in many all inclusive hotels over the years, and this was one of the more disappointing. The vast majority of the guests were German and not particularly friendly (I do speak German, and son is learnig at school). There was little or nothing for lone teenagers to do, and the \"animation team\" was nowhere near as good as in other places of similar size we have stayed. Everything at meal times was self service, and the staff clearing the tables were hard pressed and spoke very little to anyone. The receptionists were business-like but not friendly. The best feature was the deal that allowed unlimited wi fi internet access for 24 Euros for one week!

Hotellet har en fantastisk service och poolområdet är utmärkt! Stranden är sandig upptill och stenig längs med vattnet precis vid hotellet. Ta en kort promenad så möts du av ren sandstrand. Hotellet har väldigt hårda och obekväma sängar.. Köp en badmadrass och lägg under lakanen.

Teníamos una semana reservada y nos fuimos del hotel tras la primera noche, así que no digo más... Instalaciones totalmente descuidadas y antiguas, colchones de muelles, el baños lamentable y sin toallas, nos dijeron que dos días por semana no había servicio de limpieza, etc. Si la chica de recepción directamente entendió que nos fueramos quiere decir que no eramos los primeros y no seremos los últimos. Lamentable que un hotel así puede llamarse de 4 estrellas cuando tiene que haber hostales iguales o mejores. De pena, de verdad, nada recomendable.

Al llegar al hotel algún inconveniente hemos tenido... tema reserva, luego de comodidad, camas muy malo, al día siguiente nos dieron soluciones para una mejor estancia.
El personal increíble nos sentimos como en casa muy simpáticos y profesionales, la comida tb es muy buena poca variada pero lo que había estaba muy bueno.

Hotel bien situado, pero la habitación no tenia nada que ver con las fotos publicadas en la web, parecia mas un hostal de los años 70 que un hotel de 4*, la habitacion con la mitad de las bombillas fundidas, telarañas, y manchas \"raras\" en las paredes.

Muy buen bufet, la comida era muy variada y estaba muy bien cocinada, los postres y la bolleria caseros, estaban exquisitos. El personal de cocina y camareros muy atentos, encantadores Hamid y Jamal, muy buenos profesionales

Nonostante il personale cordiale e disponibile l’hotel non è di certo all’altezza del 4 stelle con il quale è etichettato
Premetto che non sono una persona particolarmente esigente e quindi mi adatto senza grossi problemi e ritengo importante la pulizia della camera che è stata soddisfatta ...
Ma se devo essere obiettiva ..
Struttura vecchia che andrebbe ristrutturata sia nella struttura esterna: vedi muri scrostati, macchie di perdite nella veranda dove si mangia.. ma anche negli arredi/tappezzerie vecchie e macchiate

Ristorante che si base sulla clientela che lo frequenta quindi 95% tedesca e ci sta .. ma pochissima varietà e scelta di piatti che fatico a comprendere : cannelloni, lasagne e pasta al pesto ?? Non sarebbe meglio proporre piatti a base di pesce (visto che siamo su isola?)
Puntare sulla paella sarebbe stata una valida alternativa se non fosse che era quasi sempre scotta.
Stoviglie spesso sporche : ci è capitata tazza colazione sporca di rossetto e piatti sporchi di cioccata
Le tovaglie non vengono cambiate quindi se non sei il primo ad andare a tavola mangi su un tovagliato gia sporco ...
Suggerimento: mettere tovaglie di carta usa e getta??
Nota positiva ambiente giardino molto verde e curato.
Conclusione: hotel per chi ha poche pretese e che si accontenta .
Non è un 4 stelle. Direi obiettivamente tra 2/3 stelle

Sehr angenehm und gut gelegen!

Es war auch dieses mal wieder ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.
Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal aufmerksam und herzlich und die Atmosphäre zwanglos und locker.
Besonders gefällt mir die direkte Strandlage des Hotels.

Dette var ikke en optimal ferie. Maden er rigtig god og varieret. Til gengæld var der rigtig mange trælse ting. Den indendørs pool var lukket, det regnede ind på værelset og det tog os 6 dage at få et værelse med tørvejr. Nabohotellet har en ventilator der larmer meget.

Ho soggiornato per una settimana in questo hotel e mi sono trovato bene in linea generale; camera fronte mare, cibo tipico europeo variegato e infinito, bar all inclusive dalle 10 alle 23, certo alcolici non di prima fascia. Uniche pecche: il personale femminile alla reception, per lo più tedesche, poco cordiali e palestra da rifare nelle attrezzature altrimenti tanto vale non pubblicizzarla.
Ho soggiornato in occasione del mio compleanno e la direzione mi ha fatto trovare una bottiglia in camera e riservato un tavolo a parte a cena

Hotel ligger nära till havet. Det tar ca 10 minuter till den långa fina sandstranden.
Maten är helt ok. Det finns variation av frukter. Både på lunch och middag grillar de fisk eller kött. Man blir inte hungrig , men man kan tröttna på den här maten under lång vistelse.
Minus- Det skulle vara bra att ha mer grönsaker till frukost ex. gurka eller sallad.
Glas i restorangen luktar klor efter diskningen. Kaffe är inte god heller.

instalación algo anticuada y poco espaciosa sin embargo buena conservacion de las habitaciones que eran espaciosas y cómodas así como la zona de recepción. Poco espacio en el comedor principal y en la zona de la picsina . Lo mejor el personal que fue atento y agradable en todo momento. Debería haber más variedad en el buffet pero en general buen recuerdo de la estancia.

El hotel está en mal estado,es muy viejo todo necesita reforma general, la zona de piscina bar también está viejo reforma importante, para cenar hay que poner pantalón largo y no corto para el hombre y la mejer si puede poner corto, no comprendo esto,después hablan de gualda tanto para hombre y mujer, el internet no funciono durante la estancia de 3 noches.
solo podemos comentar que la comida excelente un 10 muy bien todo el tema de alimentación

Godt hotel.
Værelset var rent og en god størrelse, men sengene er hårde.
Stedet kunne godt trænge til lidt renovering, men de gør meget ud af pool området, der er et rigtig dejligt sted at opholde sig når vejret er godt.
Maden er god og der er meget at vælge imellem til morgenmad og aftensmad, frokosten er der ikke så meget ved, men tapas baren er hyggelig og maden rigtig god.
Internettet er langsomt, men os gratis.
Personalet er super flinke og hjælpsomme.

Gast für 2 Wochen, angenehmer Aufenthalt, saubere und komfortable Zimmer, Salzwasserpool, der mir persönlich nicht unangenehm war, schöne Poollandschaft, ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und sauber, Lage direkt am Strand, allerdings steiniger Strand, baden dennoch möglich.
Essen sehr gut, viel Auswahl, frisch zubereitete Speisen (Fisch, Fleisch, Gemüse). Sehr freundliches Personal im Restaurant. Rezeption mitunter unfreundliches Personal

Strandnahes, günstiges AI-Hotel + warmer Pool

Ein einfaches aber durchaus gutes AI Hotel in dem man ruhig mal eine gemütliche Woche in der Sonne verbringen kann. Das Clientele ist durchmischt und man sieht zwar viel weißes Haar aber eben nicht nur. Sehr guter kleiner Strand, Getränke sind gut. Kaffee so lala aber dafür gibt's Sekt zum Frühstück. Eine \"Morning-Mimosa\" ist also auch möglich. Urlaub Mitte März

Ich war nur kurz da, 2 Tage, eine Nacht. Über Internet einen Tag vorher gebucht. Als ich ankam war alles bereit. Der Checkin schnell freundlich, professionel. Das Zimmer war schnell erreicht. Es war so ausgestattet wie ich es erwartet hatte. Vom Restaurant war ich sehr angenehm überrascht. Es verfügt über mehrere Bereiche, einen Wintergarten und Terasse. Gutes Essen kannte ich schon vom SBH Jandia Ressort. Hier war es noch einen Tick besser.
Ich war mit allem sehr zufrieden und werde es beim nächsten Urlaub wieder nehmen!

Friendly staff. Clean. Really great breakfast- and lunch-buffés. The hotel had direct access to a long and calm beach. Nice pool-area. Had a large room with balcony.

Wi-fi was very slow and sometimes didn't work. In my room I could hear noise from the neighbor hotels ventilation-system or something like that, but with ear-plugs I slept well. The gym needs to be updated.

Es la primera vez q viajo sola y me sentido como en casa. El hotel super xulo, limpio, unos jardines super chulos, la comida muy buena, variada cada dia. La habitacion muy espaciosa. Un lugar para relatx total. Un hotel muy bien ubicado y facil de encontar. Mi experiencia ha sido un 10 en todo. El personal super majos. Lo mejor las habitaciones...tienen parquet!!!Volvere y pronto. Muchas gracias por todo

Tv sin canales en español cucaracha en baño y me dicen en recepción que esto es normal en canarias me dejan al día siguiente un spray mata cucarachas para que yo fumigue

Qualité et charme

Hotel non luxueux mais correct avec un charme un peu désuet. Ce qui distingue cet hotel, c'est la qualité du restaurant, varié mais surtout très bon par rapport à de nombreux autres qui sont corrects, dans la variété mais de qualité \"standard industriel\". Là il y a du gout. On voit que c'est recherché.
Le second point est la disposition de l'hotel autour d'un jardin très joli et très bien tenu. De plus la piscine est chaude comparée à d'autres froides voire glaciales. Le style exterieur est un peu désuet, presque peu vendeur mais avec un certain charme, néanmoins.
Les chambres ne sont pas luxueuses mais correctes.
Il y a toutes les nationalités européennes, du nord (allemands majoritaires quand meme), du sud et de l'est (sauf les anglais) qui y vont, ce qui est un signe. Gens d'un bon niveau mais simples. Familles et couples.

Hotel muy por debajo de las expectativas

Hotel de 4 estrellas que deja mucho que desear. Lo peor el buffet, comida mala, grasienta y poca variedad. Vasos sucios con restos, horarios poco amplios en la cena (última entrada a las 20:30h.). Ubicación en primera línea de playa pero de piedras. Nos dieron la habitación pasadas las 13h. y te exigen dejarla antes de las 11h. La habitación normalita, cama dura, almohada fina y tv con canales todos extranjeros.
