Pros:
- Good location, close to Ximending, close to restaurants, shops and train station.
- Facilities in good condition, friendly staff
- Good air conditioning

Cons:
- They don't have their own toilets, you have to go outside of the hostel to use a public toilet, and it can be quite far if you stay in certain rooms (suite A for example)
- The bathroom floors are quite dirty as people use outdoor shoes. Outdoor shoes should not be allowed in the shower area.
- The metal stairs for the bunk beds are quite loud.
- The lights in the bedrooms are not controlled centrally by the staff, so the lights can be turned on by anyone in the middle of the night (which happened during my stay).
- Essentials such as towels are additional costs not included in the price.

Stayed here for 1 night. Accommodation does not come with towel included. One will have to pay a fee to use their towels.

Shower pressure was good with hot water. but the cubicle is rather small. Basins could be cleaner. Toilet is not in the hostel itself, but it is just a few minutes walk from the back door of the hostel. There is no toilet paper in the toilets. One will have to take the toilet paper in advance in the hostel before heading to the toilet.

Location is good. It is about a 10 mins (or less) to Taoyuan Airport MRT and Ximending, and about a 15 mins walk to Taipei Main Station.

Room was comfortable enough with adequate aircon. However, there was 1 or 2 inconsiderate occupiers during my stay who turn on the room lights and left the room with out turning them off. Each bunk is equipped with its own private light, so I did not see the reason why they would need to turn on the room light.

In my room, it seems that half of them are long term stayers, but that did not affect my stay.

Would I stay here again? Probably not. But if I am unable to find another accommodation, I may consider it again.

I had to keep climbing up to a second level bed. I am 78 years old. In general, the staff are helpful. The price is okay. The area does have food, not the greatest. The distance to major transportation is fine.

Well, there's nothing wrong given what I paid for. It's a hostel after all. I gave it 4 instead of 5 because the space in my opinion is quite small, and it's still quite hot around the entire area (except for the sleeping space). It was sort of an inconvenience how I had to bring toilet paper before going into the bathroom.

Otherwise, everything was great! Perfect for what I paid for, and would definitely come again if I'm on a budget.

The location of the hotel is good, just 8 minutes away from XiMenDing.
The room is really dark, even though there is a lamp beside each bed. What bothers me most is there are no safebox to keep my valuables or even a curtain for privacy. The toilet is about 1 min away from the room so make sure you go before you go back to your room, it can be a little annoying.
Overall an okay experience staying in the hostel

I needed a cheap and yet secure place to stay on the way back to Japan from years of living in Canada, which means a tons of properties packed in luggage.
They had this luggage room to keep them securely during my stay, everything recorded on cctv.
So I could relax enjoy every moment in Taipei.
What I didn’t like was that I needed to take the card key to every each time I go to using bathroom or shower or drinking a water.

Overall is OK. Too many mosquito , should be improved. A female staff is not friendly. The hostel is very save energy. Staff will control the temperature for each room. When I arrived the temperature was about 28 c. Later they change to 26 C.

Excellent location; about 10min from Taipei main station, about 4min from Ximen station/shopping area, and 10min from the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial. Main issues however, were the cleanliness levels of the showers/bathrooms (showers had a considerable amount of mould), and the acoustics in the room (if a loudly snoring guest was present, the sound would reverberate and make it louder). Would also recommend bringing eye covers because the lights in the room are quite bright when trying to sleep. Staff was friendly enough, too.

I will stay here again

the hotel was located in a luxurious building on a central street, we can easily find it from different directions. The hostel is neat, very clean, bedsheets are clean, matress was comfy, though roomates were a bit noisy (you cannt choose them, can you?) The staff was remarkably polite and friendly, very nice and helpful. Toilets are separated from the living area though, so it was not so convenient for night time. But with discounted rate for $7/night in Taipei what more can we expect, right?

This is your choice if you are on budget. Cheap price with comfortable bed and near Ximending, shopping district for the youngster. No cooking facilities and toilet is outside of the hostel. They have bathroom in the hostel but they need to improve on the cleanliness.

I stayed for 5 nights but get intimidated by the male staff who is cleaning the girls' dorm. He never knocks and go in and out of the girls' dorm as he likes. I prefer if they have female cleaner though. Overall hostel condition is ok, about 200m-300m from MRT Ximending exit 4 but can be further improved. The shower room is always wet and not enough space to put your toiletries when you are washing. It would be better if they keep the hostel free from shoes and slightly cleaner.

5 Star Feel in a Backpackers!

Angel's Hostel was one of the priciest backpackers I've stayed in, and yet still one of the cheapest in Taipei. However, I was blown away by the great value for money: comfy beds, very private, great shower facilities, and a nice communal area with televisions.

The down sides were that the price fluctuated from night to night, and skyrockets on a weekend. This could be a common thing in Taipei. Also, because of the proximity to the bars (about a 5-6min walk), there were a lot of noisy guests arriving back at all hours of the night on Friday and Saturday.

Overall I was happy with the stay, just bring earplugs :)

最近ホステルはたまに泊まるのですが、トイレが施設外のビルのトイレ(セキュリティつき)で、トイレットペーパーをホステルから持って行かないといけないとか、シャワーが、常に濡れていて、あまり行きたくない感じでした。最近作られたようなホステルはシャワーやトイレが清潔に保たれているので、そこが昔風でした。
場所は西門からも近いし、もう一つの病院前の駅も公園を抜けてすぐだったので便利でした。

いわゆるバックパッカーが寝泊まりに使う宿。
寝床は3段ベッドで、カーテンで間仕切りがある。素泊まりで共用シャワーでもよい人にはいい施設。
シャワールームを使うためにサンダル必須、近隣でも調達可能。
有料で洗濯機と乾燥機も使用可能。

台北駅から徒歩で10分ちょっとと立地がよく、ホテルから出てすぐのところにバス停もあり、立地はよい。
近隣はコンビニやスタバ、飲食店もあるので、飲食にも困らない。

一人旅行であればまた使いたいと思う。

おそらく4回目の利用です。天井が多少埃っぽい点を除けば、西門駅まで5、6分、飲食店も近隣に豊富でコスパも良いと思います
チェックアウト後のロッカールームでの荷物預かりはできない点は要注意です
部屋内にはセキュリティカメラが新たに設置されていて安心でした
シャワーはホステル内共通トイレはビル内共通でセキュリティカードをかざして入ります
朝のフロント開始は8時で、それ以前のチェックアウトはセキュリティキーをフロントの箱に入れるだけで大丈夫です
チェックイン時の案内も丁寧で、特に悪いところもなく、次の台北訪問時もお世話になると思います

第二次也選擇了天使

旅館位置超級方便，步行去博物館西門町也很快。
幾年前入住過，因為同區最便宜所以試試看，
當時感覺還不錯。
這次在同區選了幾家hostel 住看看。
整體上還是這家最好，便宜，員工有禮，房間床鋪乾淨整潔，冷氣舒適一覺睡天光。
這次安排的位置還可以把行李安放到床邊，很有安全感。
雖然廁所有點味道，但地上沒有濕濕的，
每格都有點空間不會很窄怕踫到廁盤。

位置在大樓內的二樓，廁所和房間不在一起，需要嗶卡穿過兩道門才能到達有點麻煩；男生共同宿舍床架有三層，上下是金屬板砌成的階梯容易發出聲響。此外，是很具性價比的背包選擇。

Das einzig positive war leider die Umgebung, in Ximen gibt es tolle Ecken zu entdecken.
Das Hotel war leider absolut enttäuschend. Von überforderten Mitarbeitenden, die die Gäste nur massenabfertigen, über unsaubere Bettwäsche, bis hin zur permanenten Lärmbelästigung, kann ich das Hostel nicht weiterempfehlen.
Die Toiletten befinden sich über den Flur, nicht im Hostel selbst. Man braucht 3x seinen Schlüssel bis man dorthin kommt. Die Mülleimer dort oder in den anderen Räumlichkeiten sind während der 3 Tage nicht einmal geleert worden, auch putzen haben wir nie jemanden sehen. Die Abflüsse in den Duschen waren dauernd voller Haare.
Durch die Schlüsselkarten ist es unmöglich, die Türen zu den Schlafräumen leise zu schließen, wer wie ich einen leichten Schlaf hat, wird die ganze Nacht kein Auge zu tun. Dass die Wände extrem hellhörig bzw. oben offen sind und mach jedes Wort versteht, dass vor der Tür gesprochen wird, macht’s nicht besser.

Ja, der Preis ist unschlagbar günstig, aber die Leistung und der Service den man bekommt, ist nichtmal das wert.

今回は2回目の利用です。西門駅や台北駅から近く便利です。荷物を入れるロッカーは100元と引き換えに利用することができます。ビックリしたのは、外出中に私が利用していたロッカーが別の宿泊者が利用していたことです。私がロッカーに入れていた貴重品はすべて共有スペースにそのまま置かれ、ロッカーの中には別の宿泊者のものが入っていました。スタッフに状況を伝え、別のロッカーの鍵と交換してもらいましたが、大変心配になる出来事でした。
貴重品であれば、外出時も身につけておくべきですが、不在時に共有スペースに放り出された私の荷物がどのように扱われたのか、いまでも心配です。

不知是電費太便宜的關系，冷氣冷到令人難受，蓋被子都沒用，枕頭有一股異味，希望冷氣不要那麼冷，冷到有人一直咳嗽

表通りに看板がなく、複合ビルの中の二階にあるので、大変見つけにくい。周辺を3、4回回ってやっと見つけた。
