This apartment-style hotel is unique, a beautifully quiet place to stay in in Playa del Carmen by the beach, some distance from the down town area, with bikes to rent. As the room qualities are beautiful and nicely equipped, a free cooked breakfast is good, easy access to the top floor pool and rest area, low numbers of guests and a very very reasonable price, with personalized service for taxis etc., this is a great stay.

Quiet area. 8-10 min walk to Playa 72 and Playa 88 which are great free public beaches. Would definitely stay here again. Downsides: no restaurants close by, internet did not work

Although the hotel is off Quinta Avenida, the property is a bit away from all the hustle and noise of the Quinta Avenida. If you’re looking for quiet, comfortable and very clean accommodations, this is the hotel for you. We enjoyed the partial ocean view from our balcony. Housekeeping and s excellent. The continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The neighborhood is extremely inconvenient and there are no facilities and no restaurants and it is extremely difficult for taxis and Uber drivers to even find the hotel. once you arrive at the hotel, their system for entry is very confusing and complicated and does not work well. i’m a big believer in using technology, but their system is very poor.

The area around this hotel isnt the best and the wall back after dinner can be not well lit. We felt that it wouldnt be very safe to walk to late at night.
Our sleep quality here was not the greatest. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows quite flat. There were also dogs barking all night and one night somebody from the hotel (staff maybe?) Was honking their car horn over and over in the courtyard.
Overall a nice place to stay if you just need a cheap room and dont mind a bit of a walk to get to things.

We were on the 4th floor in a great huge apartment, with a sea view, a beautiful flower on the shelf and a large balcony and 2 bathrooms!
Nevertheless there was a shortage of the staff in the moment of our stay, our room was cleaned every day.
In addition, we were able to enjoy the top roof pool and to use the parking inside of the yard.
Moreover, there is a really nice chill area just next to the cafeteria where every morning we were enjoying the breakfast which is not very rich, but you are not charged about it and there are fresh fruits, tea, coffee, bread cheese butter, toaster and so on.Something that I really enjoy is that the owners take an eye for almost every single detail, the plates in the cafeteria are from metal, but are very nice. You have also the possibility to take rent a bike from the place. Just in front of the Cielo y Mar is the main street,but you are in quite area. If you continue to the right you can reach the city center in 15-20 mins. walk.
As a conclusion, we do recommend this place and encourage the owners to continue doing their job, because from our perspective this is the sustainable way of doing a good business at a competitive price!

Inexpensive but very nice hotel in a quiet location near Quinta Avenida which is going to tourist zone with a plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and boutiques. About 6-8 minutes of walking to the closest beach Playa 88, which is very good as well.
Quinta Avenida is not in a perfect condition in this location, not so clean and not well-maintained, but quiet and safe; you can see many tourists walking, jogging or riding bicycles.

Breakfasts usually include a yogurt with granola, cheese, butter, jam, bread, fresh juice and mix of fruit pieces like papaya, pineapple, melon and watermelon. They upgraded up to a better room at no cost. The suite they gave us had a double bathroom which came in handy after the beach. The hotel is a bit far from the food areas, but overall it’s a good location especially for the price. The staff is very friendly and were always so helpful.

We enjoyed the yard and roof top pool. We felt at home. A few mnutes walk to all our favorite beaches. A walk down 5th Ave gave us our exercise. We met guests from various parts of Europe and a few from North America. I would recommend a stay and will come back again.

It was an exceptional value to amenities ratio. Google maps has it listed as a 2 star hotel, when it actually feels like a legitimate 3 or 3.5 star hotel. I stayed in a room with a single bed (the bed could comfortably fit 2 people of average size, I'm 5'6" 200+ lbs)The room had a mini fridge, a microwave, a coffe maker with coffee grounds included, a kitchen sink, a couple plates, a couple coffee cups, some silverware, etc. The room was air conditioned with a remote. Two sliding glass doors that lock from the inside (but I realized if you close the doors while on the balcony there's no way to open them from outside) a good sized balcony (extending around 4 ft out and around 10 feet wide), with two comfortable outdoor chairs and a small movable wooden table that can fit 2 or 3 drinks. I'm a smoker, there's no smoking in the room, but the balcony is more than sufficient to have a smoke comfortably. Everything is very clean. A wall mounted tv that pulls away from the wall and swivels left or right, it has Netflix on the tv, so you only have to sign into your Netflix and bam, you're set! Don'tf orget to completelylog out of your Netflix on the tv when your stay is complete There's a small offering of continental breakfast, with coffee and a couple cut up fruits, papaya and mango? Not sure about taste or freshness of fruit, it looked fine though. Onsite parking is a bit crowded, especially with a larger vehicle. They give a key to the gated parking, 3-5 cars max will fit.

An adorable hidden gem in Playa del Carmen. The staff was incredible; friendly, helpful and kind. The property is small but clean and has great amenities. We borrowed their bikes and took a lovely and sweaty ride downtown. Units are light & airy, clean and spacious. A nice breakfast is provided. We had a car and it was easy to get around, without a car, this location could be challenging. We enjoyed our stay.

The stay was amazing. The price was cheap and the service was amazing. The host was named Victor and he was super welcoming. We booked this placed cause of all the great reviews and they definitely lived up to it. We recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in playa del carmen for a cheap price.

There are a lot of really wonderful things to say about this property. The staff is extremely nice, although they do not speak much english.
The rooms are extremely spacious, and the air conditioning is industrial strength. Note: you turn off the a/c when you leave your room, but when you come back and turn it on, it cools things back down in minutes.
The view is spectacular, and if you go up to the roof, it's even better. Also - the roof is a wonderful place to hang out in the evening. It has a gorgeous view and a wonderful breeze. They have bikes you can borrow. There is also a really nice side yard and lobby area you can hang out in.
You are a 5 minute walk from the nicest of the public beaches, which has not only lovely sand, but also a freshwater spring. You are also a short walk from several really nice local and reasonably priced local restaurants. Restaurante Familiar "La 88" is right where you turn to go to the beach, and they have great pina coladas. We ate breakfast at Que Huevos most morning, and we loved them.
You are also right on the main walking path through Playa del Carmen, and you can easily walk or bike to the main tourist area. If you want to go to the Cozumel ferry or to the Collectivo station, it's going to be quite a hike.

This is a smaller hotel in a quiet section of 5th Avenue. It’s close to the beach (playa 88) and about 15-20 minutes walk to the all the hustle and bustle of the busy shopping and restaurants on 5th. The housekeeping staff is excellent and friendly and although there are not many restaurants in the immediate area there’s a microwave, coffeemaker and small fridge for snacks small meals and cold drinks.

Hidden jewel in Playa del Carmen
This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach for an evening stroll and an early morning swim. The decor was elegant, comfortable and we were welcomed so warmly. It was great being able to park off the street in close proximity to our room. We loved watching the sunset from the rooftop patio. Having the kitchenette was an unexpected bonus. We kept our picnic food in the fridge and made hot afternoon tea in the microwave. Nice big TV and easy to use.

What a great little spot! Everything is updated or new. Gated parking area for a few cars, decent Policia presence with the conservation area access right there. In a rougher part of town but the hotel is gated. Authenticity abounds in this area, though.

The hotel was clean and spacious. We had the 2 queen size beds type of room with " partial sea view, garden view" . The sea was not visible from our room at all, only the garden. The room was at 1st floor. There was a nice big roof top at the 5th floor and from there the sea was visible.
We got toiletries, the TV and AirCon were working, the cleaners came and refreshed our room. There was also complimentary tea and coffee. We got keys from the main gate, the room and the parking space which was great. Reception appears to be open 7 am - 11 pm, though we needed some help at 8am and there was no one there. On the door there were 2 whatsapp numbers, but in the end we did not texted as the owner of the car we needed to move so we can go out, luckily appeared.
Overall we had a very good experience and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They allow us to use the reception phone in order to call the car rental and extend with one more day. Also they arranged a taxi pick up for us and constantly asked if we need and refreshments or anything else at all. The staff was also helpful in giving us directions towards certain shops or advice on how to get around.
I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family and I would stay there again myself.

Unassuming from the outside, what awaits inside is more of the same, but with a minimal, spa-like feel. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms and common areas are clean and inviting. The location can feel a bit suspect at night , though not threatening, but this gives way to a pleasant and almost park-esque mood during the day. A great value I doubt can be beat in PDC.

Our room was very clean and comfy. My only recommendation to the hotel would be to have more furniture where we can hang our clothes and towels (ex. chairs). Our room was in the third floor and had a partial view of the manglares and the ocean. The rooftop offers an excellent view. Btw, the elevator is under construction. The room had no safety box, but nothing ever disappear. The stuff is very polite, helpful, and reliable. They gave us some good advice of which places to visit and what were the best beaches and cenotes. For us, the location was great. It was calm and quiet. We were 5 minutes away from the beach, and 10 min away from a nicer beach with more calm waters and a natural swimming pool. The hotel is a bit far from the craziness and entertainment of 5th street, so if you mind walking or taking a taxi or have no rental car, this place may not be suitable for you. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.

Quiet, Relaxing and the View
This hotel was the perfect get away from the hustle and bussel of 5th Avenue. The building is brand new and all rooms have an incredible view of the ocean with only the jungle in the foreground. The balcony was nice and large and quiet. Netflix was a great addition along with the rooftop terrace. Only drawback was that there wasnt enough close restaurants nearby but a 15 minute walk was all it was to the busy 5th avenue area.

Stayed three nights. New hotel on corner of 5 Ave and 80 St. Stayed on 3rd floor (walk up two flights). Walk up another 3 flights to get to rooftop - a couple of chairs, a bathroom and a great view of the ocean.
25 min walk along 5 Ave to Playa Centro. Nice walk, wide sidewalks. Only found 2 restaurants nearby, both reasonable prices and good meals - 10 min walk to La Jungla de la Riviera (10 Ave and 70 St), and 5 min walk to La 88 (5 Ave and 88 St). Hotel is close to beach - main entrance, with showers, etc, is a few minutes north and another entrance (a wide trail thru the woods) is a few minutes south.
Room itself was great. Large room, very comfortable king size bed, AC was good (quiet and cold), TV with Netflix, good shower, mini fridge, coffee pot, dishes and cutlery. Daily maid service, restocked coffee and 2 bottles of water, even included a little bag of cookies. Huge windows, large balcony, lovely breeze. We were at treetop level, could not really see the ocean, just lots of trees, but that gave us a nice private balcony.
Rated the room a 3 star because only sheer curtains so street lights shone thru window all night and sun was very bright, very early in the morning; and cars would loudly clang over loose grates on the street in front of hotel (saving grace was that there wasn't much traffic after dark); so didn't actually have the best sleep.

This was a great place to stay in Playa. Rooms have a fridge, microwave and coffee pot (with coffee). They even have a roof top deck to watch sunset or rise. You can see the ocean and Cozumel. My airport shuttle never arrived and the owner made last minute arrangements to help get me to the bus station. Five stars in my book!! Made us feel like family, thanks Cielio Y Mar.

O hotel foi ótimo, os quartos eram bem espaçosos e fomos bem recebidos. A área da piscina no rooftop é maravilhosa, com uma linda vista do mar.

O café da manhã era bom, mas poderia ter mais variedades, somente tem opção de ovo cozido, 1 opção de fruta e 1 opção de pão e queijo.
A localização do hotel é um pouco distante da rua principal, tínhamos que usar o carro sempre. Uma das noites andamos a pé para procurar um mercado na proximidade, e o entorno do hotel era bem escuro e as ruas vazias, não era um bom local para andar a pé.
Mas como nós fizemos tudo de carro, não foi um problema para nós.
As camas eram super confortáveis.
O café da manhã era bom, mas poderia ter mais variedades, somente tem opção de ovo cozido, 1 opção de fruta e 1 opção de pão e queijo.

El hotel está relativamente alejado del bullicio y de la zona comercial, lo cual es un alivio, para quien busca descansar y relajarse. La unica desventaja es que puedes llegar al hotel usando tu propio coche o tomando un taxi ( desde la parada de buses ADO hasta el hotel) nos cobraron 250 pesos.
Para quien planea quedarse varios días, éste hotel es una buena opción, para nosotros no. Ya que sólo nos quedamos 1 noche.

Direkt um die Ecke ist ein Waschsalon, der alles macht für 14 MXN pro kg.
In die belebte Zone sind es 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Fanden wir gut, weil ruhiger.
Direkt 2 Public beaches vir der Tür; Playa 88 bis Esmeralda können wir empfehlen. Der Pool auf dem Dach war auch nice, es nut keine Dusche dort.
Würden hier wieder übernachten.

Nous atterrissions à 18:00 à Cancún et cherchions donc un hôtel où passer une nuit d’étape en chemin vers le sud. Nous avons trouvé exactement ce dont nous avions besoin avec cet établissement : propreté, rapport qualité-prix selon nous imbattable, légèrement excentré mais avec possibilité de rejoindre le centre à pieds par une voie piétonne/cyclable agréable ou par la plage.
