If you are on really tight budget or just want to enjoy it’s a nice room everything you need. I love that the there’s a pretty rooftop and pool. It’s quite as well. The staff is really nice and respect full

Excellent little boutique hotel, wonderful staff, and comfortable rooms. If you’re looking for a quieter, cozier stay in Playa, this is a good place.
Rooms are clean, bed was comfortable, and the balcony was very nice. Spacious room and bathroom, especially for the price. It’s definitely worth it to get one of the balcony side rooms.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, being very flexible with our check in and check out, and allowing us to upgrade rooms at no additional cost.

Amazing staff, very attentive if we needed anything. Beds were a little hard and pillows could use a refresh. Very close to the best beach in Playa Del Carmen so we appreciated that. Overall it's a wonderful small hotel that's a little out of the way to enjoy the 5th Avenue experience but if you don't mind a stroll its well worth staying at, and you can't beat the price.

Mirla works at the front desk. My 3rd day she efficiently moved my room to the back and stored my luggage for when I returned. I found the dogs barking a little annoying, where some people may not even notice. Mirla also helped me with the bike rental at the hotel. Thank you for excellent service.

Shout out to the morning staffer - she was the best thing about staying at this hotel, hands-down. Very helpful, friendly, informative, and just genuinely sweet soul. The noise around the property was tough. Dogs barking all day & night. The pictures must have been taken years ago. The room was run down, water leaking from faucet, visible mold in the bathroom and on the ceiling. Ants were all over the bathroom and other dead bugs. The safe beeped on-stop and although this was reported no remedy was provided - I had to stuff wet towels on it to drown out the noise. The patio furniture was not cleaned the entire stay. The pool had dead flies, bees, and other insects floating in it daily, never skimmed. The location was close to several restaurants within walking distance. The beach was a 30-minute walk or 10-minute cab ride. The elevator was slow and sketch. The website showed an on-site restaurant but apparently it had been closed for months. The room smelled of mildew.

This was place was great, not far from 5th Avenue. Staff were super nice and attentive/helpful. Location was great and felt safe. In front of a Sunday market so it was wholesome to see them prep their stands. Nice spot for our tour guides to find and pick us up. Overall, the stay was excellent! Will visit again soon!

Hotel Terrasse is a hip little hotel off the beaten path of Playa del Carmen. It looked and felt like new construction and is surrounded by construction zones. While close to 5th Avenue, it's not the bustling tourist district at all (give it 5 years) so restaurant and shopping choices are limited. The neighborhood feels very much like one in transition. The beach is several blocks away (it appeared much closer on maps).
At the hotel, the staff were very nice, but there were several problems with our rooms - leaking AC, doors that wouldn't lock, staff break (smoking) room next door, grim views. We ended up leaving after one night as they were unable to fulfil our reservation for two rooms fit for stay.

The pictures are false , false advertisememt .My family & i didnt enjoy it at all ! Staff was not helpful .the pillows had hair on it , hair was behind the bathroom door . my brother got food poisoned . we asked for a refund on the first day & we could not get it . oh and mold is in the hall way , lots & lots of mold . i do not recommend sadly !!!!

I came here as a solo female traveller, wanting a place to stay that wasn’t going to be as loud as staying in the heart of town. 5th Ave is one block away, with tonnes of restaurants nearby, and about a 30 minute walk from being right in the heart of the party. The location is awesome, and I felt very safe walking home late at night. I typically had the rooftop pool to myself and the staff was very, very friendly. Coffee in the restaurant below was really good and the staff there kind as well.
The only negative is that people who stay there ignore the pool being closed at 10 pm and party all night very loudly. The staff should lock the door the pool or add some security measure. I would also request not staying on the 4th floor because you can hear the pool a lot more. Bring ear plugs for the various dogs barking and doors slamming shut.
The room is big and the bathroom as well. There is a smell when you first arrive but it goes away after one night (probably the air con turning on helps). I would definitely recommend staying here! The price is excellent for what you get as well.

Nice clean quiet room, enjoyed the rooftop pool area, only bummer is the pool was quite cold, but lovely views. We had it to ourselves the second day. Both girls at the front desk were so kind and helpful, loved the breakfast served in the restaurant and the pizza was great as well. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second night.

I liked the bohemian decor. The restaurant is really great. the roof top has a pool and a sitting area which is kind a cool. the rooms were clean and well maintained.

Overall a good place to stay! The staff at this hotel was the best we’ve had here in Playa. It was nice to be able to explore the north side of town, it’s much quieter than the farther south you go. We did have some issues with the water in our room, but the staff was wonderful and extremely responsive. The rooms were nice, but very minimal, even for me a self-proclaimed minimalist. The rooftop was really cool, and a great place to relax and swim.

THe property is a small boutique, Ikea furniture type hotel. Perfect for two friends. The doors were really loud to the rooms, so when people came and went, woke you up, slamming and shutting. This is the only issue. For $55, very clean, unique, cute! Walk to the beach club 14 minutes, but very nice, included in price!

Cute hotel with a great rooftop pool. Rooms were clean comfy with working AC. We arrived early and were checked in at no extra charge. Staff arranged our private shuttle to airport at a very reasonable rate. Considering the nightly rate this a great find and happily stay again.

Loved this hotel. If they had a kitchenette, I would of elected to stay instead of getting an apartment. This is the best Deal in town - you are walking distance from CTM and Avenida Quinta, but far enough away to not hear the noise and drunkneaas. The bed is soooooo comfortable it is heaven- the sheets are so soft. I even asked where they got the linens. Staff are great. It’s clean - in fact everything is brand new. Staff are friendly and willing to help you with whatever you need. Daily free breakfast of hot eggs, beans and toast and coffee gets the day going well! I love this hotel and the staff are helpful. The owner even gave me a ride to the beach once. I really love this hotel- it’s comfortable-not over the top. Just straight quality- and comfort.
